Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter, I do not make money out of this, it's all for amusement, I'm tired…

So I had some reviews with questions, prepare them to be answered…

Harry's age: we start with Harry between 7-9, I'm not 100% sure how old since I don't know how the brain capacity of 7/8/9 years work so yeah, you can choose.

Why harry has control over his Metamorphmagus ability: He doesn't, he has one disguise he trained on with the goblins

Why Harry lives in a tent and not Potter manor: the manor is a manor, so not small, and harry didn't know about house elves at that moment, so he asked the goblins what the best option was, apart from a hotel of some sorts, to have a roof and not have to clean for the rest of his live. Also I did hint at a conversation with the goblins about this stuff when I wrote that the goblins recommended the trunk store. (Potter manor totally flew over my head and I just like the idea of someone living in a tent)

Harry doesn't need to get his belongings from the Dursleys because he barely owned anything and from his point of view they probably threw out his mother's stuff when they got home.

The reason I didn't write this all down in a conversation with goblins? I am terrible with writing character while not making them occ, I just don't get characterization and that's one of the reason I really need a beta, official or not, you want to proof read my work and help me with characterization? Just contact me, autocorrect and proofreading will deal with all the glaring grammar and spelling mistakes. (I'm also uploading this without having started at chapter 5 cause guess what? I need to write humans!)

End of that info, let's get on with the story.

Chapter 4:

Harry woke up and picked up the book on his nightstand, he opened it and started reading, still a bit blurry eyed, the book was very enchanting, He couldn't stop reading the night before and he didn't want to part from it, it even was based on the truth!

And that, is how harry got into trying to know every bit about the founders, just by reading Hogwarts: a history, it was, what got him a good friend.

About obtaining said friend, He had gotten his letter yesterday, and would visit the bookstore today, knowing that he would visit the bookstore he jumped out of bed and made some breakfast, then looked at the clock, he either slept in late or spend most of his morning reading, it was already 11 pm. He ate his breakfast, now brunch, took his money pouch and made his way up the ladder, closed the lid and walked towards the apothecary to stock up on potion ingredients, so he had enough to last him for and during school. He then made his way towards the bookstore, he did have most of his books, but that didn't mean that he wouldn't buy books, he was currently curious about Hogwarts and animagi transformation.

He walked over towards the adult section of the store, he looked through some of the books, read the summary on the first page and then picked out a few, a book caught his eye, the name was "purely loopholes" Harry was quite curious, since he was aware of himself being a heir to multiple houses, and soon becoming a lord, he was quite interested in finding and closing loopholes.

He picked the book up and added it to his small pile, he made his way over towards the general area, adding the rest of his school books to his growing pile and some history books, although he wasn't a fanatic, he did like some good history. He got to the charms section and picked up some advanced theory, already being read up on the beginner's level.

He was inspecting the bookshelves when a girl walked into him, crashing to the ground between her books, Harry, stumbling and clutching his books to his chest.

Before this encounter happened, an eleven year old girl was up early, earlier than she was on Christmas, she was getting her first real introduction to the magical world and she was told there were going to be books, she loved books, the best birthday present she ever got was a stack of books she specifically asked for.

She got some breakfast than continued read her new book she got on her last birthday, the murder on the orient express by Agatha Christie, she loved the mystery of reading it for the first time, it's why she left it the longest.

She heard her parents getting up and read a few chapters before putting it up on her side-table and made her way downstairs, she looked at the clock, professor McGonagall was going to pick her up in a few minutes, she was so excited.

The doorbell rang, she raced to the front door and opened it to see the professor, she welcomed her inside and then said goodbye to her parents, who gave her some money to buy her school supplies and some extra books, then she followed professor McGonagall into the magical world.

First, they went into Gringotts and converted her money into wizarding money, then professor McGonagall told her how much she was going to have to spend for her supplies, ice cream and lunch, they put her extra money apart, for which she could buy a pet or books.

She was very excited about books, so she pulled professor McGonagall with her towards the bookstore, where she first got all of her school books, then a few recent history books and then looked into magical theory, which brought her over to the charms section, where she promptly walked into Harry.

"I'm so sorry" she exclaimed, trying in a hurry to pick up all her books, Harry bend down, sat his book pile on the ground and saw her selection of titles, he picked up a book from the bottom shelve and gave it to her, the book was on pureblood society, one of the books that were hidden al throughout the store.

"miss Granger, are you okay?" the professor asked her future student.

"I'm good professor, Harry here helped me get my books." Hermione introduced Harry, who was smiling at the professor, book pile safely back in his arms.

"Harry, you say, Harry Potter?" the professor asked.

"yes, ma'am, nice to meet you." Harry said politely, knowing that she would know him and would be on the lookout for him since his disappearance a few years ago, he also suspected Hermione did NOT know

"We've been worried about you, are you alright?" professor McGonagall asked sternly but clearly worried, she and the other heads had been searching for a few years now.

"yes, I'm perfectly fine. Just on my way picking up my supplies." Harry changed the topic and threw a metaphorical rope to Hermione

"would Harry be allowed to join us?" Hermione said excitedly.

"yes, Harry is allowed to join us if he likes"

"I would love to, Hermione" Harry said and they finished up their affairs in the bookstore and put the books in Harry's weightless bag, Minerva conjuring two ribbons to keep Harry's and Hermione's books apart.

They went to the store that sold vessels in which you could move or store things in where they bought Hermione a standard trunk and the same sort of bag harry had.

After that they made their way over to the apothecary to buy the standard potion set and Harry gave some advice of which ingredient were most used and would be needed more than the standard set supplied and a few ingredient's that made the potion self quite difficult.

They held a stop for lunch in the leaky cauldron, Hermione was happy that the difference in food wasn't that huge.

After lunch they went to pick up the other supplies they needed like his cauldron and the telescope. After which professor McGonagall went to get them ice cream (they told her what kind they wanted) while they would be getting fitted for their robes.

That is chapter 4, bit on the short side, but we are going to meat Draco next chapter and I'm so not looking out to writing that.

Again, I'm desperate for someone to help me with characterization.

Now you all have to wait a really long time before getting the next update,
