Shifts And Bullies' Karma

Jocu had a devious smirk on his face as Vamps and Whampire walked in and they immediately got curious.

"Now what is that smirk for?" Vamps chuckled.

"Some bullies made Cassie and Zambanza frustrated the other day…who would like to go and give them a little…shaking up?" He said, his eyes turning into slits.

"I say that's a wonderful idea," Vamps laughed deviously. At that moment, Sage walked in and he stretched. Now that he was going through his shift, he was feeling playful and devious. Jocu saw him and Sage immediately got into a playful stance. Jocu then gave a smirk and a low growl and that was it!

"Jocu!" Sage laughed, now running at him and pouncing. They went rolling playfully because Sage was definitely in a playful mood. During a shift, he needed stimulation and that meant more physical contact.

"What's the matter, Sage? Now why are you laughing?" Jocu laughed, now pinning him and tickling his stomach. "It appears you will help us with your first mission."

"First mission?" Sage asked, now feeling him stop.

"Yes. There were some bullies that made your cousins upset. I say we go and teach them a lesson," Jocu said.

"I'm ready," Sage said, now feeling Jocu let him up.

"Good. Let's all go now. Vamps and Whampire will join us," Jocu said, now seeing the Vladat brothers come over and they teleported to the school.

As they appeared, they growled at what they saw. There was a fat bully, a skinny bully, and a girl bully and they were pulling a girl's hair. The poor child was crying hard, but the bullies only laughed.

"Those brats," Sage hissed.

"Let's have some fun," Whampire hissed angrily.

"Let's move…," Vamps said, now leading the way and the others followed. As they got behind the bullies, Jocu let out an animalistic cry, the Vladats hissed, and Sage growled. That made the bullies let the girl go and she ran off in horror!

"Wait…come back!" Sage said, now chasing after her to make sure she was ok. Jocu chuckled and then turned back to the bullies.

"Let's begin…," he said lowly.

Meanwhile…

Sage cornered the girl against a large tree and he somehow felt the need to cuddle her and embrace her. He was unsure why because he usually wasn't this affectionate with strangers.

"Come here…I just want to make sure you're okay," he said, now leaning up a bit more.

"I'm okay…," she said shyly from behind a tree. Sage arched an eyebrow and got down on all fours. He looked at himself.

"What am I doing?" He said to himself.

"It's your shift…," a voice chuckled telepathically.

"What do you mean?" He asked, now recognizing it as Jape's voice.

"Simple. You are acting as one of us. You are behaving like we do when someone needs comforting." Jape chuckled.

"Great, now I feel itchy," Sage growled, now trying to scratch his back. "And I'm not even in my wolf form."

"It's because your skin may somewhat feel like fur even though you don't have any. That's part of the shift; usually the fur would get thicker," Jape explained. Sage nodded in understanding and grimaced as he felt his claws emerge.

"GAH! That hurt," he said, but the little girl also squeaked in horror and was about to run away!

"He's going to eat me!" She said in terror.

"Wait! Come here! I won't hurt you," he said, now grabbing her by the back of her shirt and pinning her down. Before saying anything else, he began gently wiggling a claw in her stomach and making her giggle. At that slight giggle, he felt a surge of energy and it made him crave more!

"That felt good, didn't it?" Jape said telepathically.

"Yes! It's like she's energizing me!" Sage said.

"Welcome to your first shift; you are feeling what we feel when we hear laughter. It brings out the best in us and makes us crave more and more," Jape said. Sage felt nothing but joy and glee as he continued to gently tickle the young girl's sadness and fear away.

Meanwhile…

"SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!" Whampire hissed, now making his eyes glow and he clawed at the bullies.

"HELP!" The fat one screamed.

"Why are you asking for help?" Vamps growled evilly. "You have never given any so why should you receive any?"

"I haven't had barbecued children in a while," Whampire smirked.

"HE'S GOING TO EAT US!" The girl bully screamed.

"Maybe not eat…just munch on you for a bit," Jocu said deviously, now making his eyes glow and he stood to his full height!

"They'll kill us!" The skinny one panicked, now feeling Jocu pick him up.

"You look delicious enough to eat," Jocu growled lowly.

"HELP US!" The girl screamed as Vamps picked her up.

"They will eat us!" The fat one cried out, now feeling tears well up. All three bullies expected something bad to happen, but after a few seconds, they were all set down on the ground.

"Well…that was a terrifying experience, wasn't it?" Jocu said, now crossing his arms.

"H-Huh?" The girl bully said.

"Aren't you going to eat us?" The skinny one said.

"No…you all just needed to be taught a lesson for harming some young ones in our home and for those in your school," Vamps said, now kneeling in front of them.

"You all are aliens…," the fat one said in awe. For when the Vladats dealt with bullies, they didn't have their human disguises on.

"We are, but we only came to remind you that bullying has a price. If you bully, someone bigger can do the same," Whampire said.

"So it is important to show kindness at all times; evil is never the answer," Jocu said.

"If this happens again, we will return," Vamps said sternly.

"And we will keep coming until you learn," Whampire said angrily.

The bullies hung their head in shame and apologized for what they had done. The three allowed them to go, but they were definitely shaken up from what they went through.

Once that was over, they went to go and find Sage. After walking around the area a bit, they saw him hugging the little girl and then watched her bound off, much happier than before.

"Well, well…you shift has taken affect," Jocu chuckled. "You've got a taste of how to be a Lauhinian."

"It feels strange, but good all at the same time," Sage said, now seeing his claws retract. "But the claws still hurt!"

"You'll get used to it. Now come…I think we all need something to eat and to celebrate the day," Jocu smiled. After all, there was plenty to celebrate! Bullies were taught a lesson and Sage was learning more and more about his heritage!
