"Make yourself at home." Mika said, as she welcomed Midoriya in.
As Midoriya stepped inside, he tried not to make eye contact with either one of the women.
"I just have to remain calm and try to relax." Midoriya reminded himself.
Midoriya tried to focus on something else and soon noticed the large number of records on the shelves in the living room.
"There must be more albums here than in the store." Midoriya said.
"Yeah, music is a huge part of our lifestyle." Jiro said.
"That's putting it lightly, Kyoka." Mika said.
"She's right, with both of your quirks, it's almost like music is a part of who you are." Midoriya said, with a smile.
"How is it that I'm teaching him to be confident, when he's this smooth?" Jiro thought.
Jiro tried to hide her blush but Mika took notice.
"I like the way that you think, Midoriya." Mika said.
A few minutes went by before Mika went into the kitchen, leaving Midoriya and Jiro to talk, or in their case, sit in awkward silence.
"This is fine, this isn't weird and having Midoriya in our home is totally normal." Jiro thought.
"Come on, I just have to think of another topic." Midoriya thought.
"So… you and the rest of the girls are going to use the pool again?" Midoriya asked.
"Yeah, I'm still glad that it's just us using it this time, no offense." Jiro said.
"None taken." Midoriya said.
"I'm still sorry about surprising you at the mall, it didn't exactly go the way that I had planned." Jiro said.
"Don't worry about it, it turned out to be fun and I actually got to have a full conversation with the rest of the girls." Midoriya said.
"Not to mention, if I hadn't been there, you would probably still be standing in that changing room." Midoriya quipped.
Jiro blushed in embarrassment and playfully tackled him onto the couch.
"Take it back." Jiro demanded.
"Never." Midoriya replied.
The two of them laughed, failing to notice that Mika had walked back into the room.
"Well, it seems that the two of you are getting along better than I thought." Mika joked.
Midoriya and Jiro looked at her in confusion for a moment, before realizing how it looked.
The two of them quickly separated and didn't even look at each other.
"It's not what it looks like!" Midoriya shouted.
"It's not like that!" Jiro shouted.
Mika desperately held back her laughter, not sure of how much more she could take.
Taking a deep breath, Mika regained her composure.
"I called the school and told them where both of you were, they granted you permission to stay here for dinner, as long as you return before your curfew." Mika informed them.
"Cool." Jiro said.
"Thank you, so much, Ms. Jiro." Midoriya said.
"Mika, call me Mika." Mika reminded him.
"Right, sorry, I forgot." Midoriya said.
"Speaking of which, referring to her as Jiro can get confusing, why don't you call her by her first name?" Mika asked.
"Just when I thought that she couldn't embarrass me more than she already was." Jiro thought.
"If it's okay with you, then I would be happy to." Midoriya said, to her.
Jiro was taken aback by Midoriya's willingness to be on a first name basis.
"I may be embarrassed but I can't let it get to me, besides that, we are closer than we were before." Midoriya thought.
"Well… you do call Mina by her first name, so I guess that it's alright." Jiro said.
"Thanks, Kyoka." Midoriya said.
Kyoka's blush intensified when she heard her name being said by him.
"Two can play at this game." Kyoka thought.
"No problem, Izuku." Kyoka said.
"Well, this is too sweet, I'm going to go call your father and tell him the good news." Mika said, with a teasing grin.
"No!" Kyoka shouted, desperately.
Later.
Needless to say, Kyoka and Izuku didn't stay for dinner, with Kyoka wanting to avoid the situation with her father.
"I'm sorry that we had to leave so soon because of me." Izuku apologized.
"Don't worry about it, it isn't your fault, I just wanted to avoid any further embarrassment for today." Kyoka admitted.
"Do you think that Mika will tell your father about me?" Izuku asked.
Jiro slightly cringed, being a little surprised that Izuku referred to her mother by her first name without her being present.
"No, I'm pretty sure that she'll spare us from that whole ordeal until you meet him in person." Kyoka told him.
"Meet who in person?" Kaminari asked.
Izuku and Kyoka took notice of where they were.
"When did we get back to the dorms?" Izuku thought.
"We really need to pay more attention." Kyoka thought.
"She was probably talking about her father since Midoriya has already met Jiro's mother." Yaoyorozu said.
The room went silent enough to where you could hear a pin drop.
Then, one minute later, it began.
"Midoriya!" Both Mineta and Kaminari shouted.
"Not again!" Midoriya shouted.
Midoriya used his quirk to run away, avoiding a repeat of what had happened during the licensing exam.
"Sorry." Yaoyorozu apologized.
