Before Lila could stand to execute her plan, Alya spoke with an airy tone.

"Lila, wouldn't you like to say hello to your good friend Prince Ali?"

The smirk worn by Alya told Lila she was screwed.

"Or to the talented rocker who wrote a song about you?" Chimed in Alix.

Sabrina was next to add in the sweetest most condescending voice, "you know Jagged Stone right? You saved his kitten!"

Lila sat stunned, looking straight ahead to the floor from the corner she was being backed into. There was no way in hell she was going to get out of this one and she knew it, damage control would be her best bet.

"Guys, why are you embarrassing me when you know I have a condition which makes me lie!" She answered sheepishly, but this reaction was true. The calculating brunette had not noticed the disappearance of the two men on screen, but she noticed the door open.

In walked Jagged Stone holding a clipboard and donning a doctors white coat, followed by Prince Ali who had also hoped on board the charade. The class occupants stifled their amusement at the display before them. Marinette and Adrien sat wide eyed, also amused at the two men.

"Righ'," Jagged started flipping through the pages on his clipboard, "wha' do we have today Dr. Ali?"

"We have a complicated case on our hands Dr. Stone." Prince Ali stood stoically with his hands clasped in front of him.

"I can see that!" Jagged exclaimed with mock concern, "there's a whole list of ailments accompanied by many tales including ourselves."

The classroom door opened once again to reveal Miss Bustier, this time she had a guest with her.

Prince Ali approached the new arrival, shaking the hand of Lila's apparently confused mother. "Ah, the patients mother, just in time!"

"Miss Bustier what is the meaning of this?" Madame Rossi demanded as she was ushered into the seat behind the desk.

"Madame Rossi," Miss bustier replied calmly, "we have brought you here to get to the bottom of a few things."

Madame Rossi was enraged. Her eyes went straight to her daughter who was still sat staring at the floor. Her breathing became slow and deep, with obvious anger starting to boil to the surface. No one noticed the blue butterfly entering the room.

"Lila Rossi," a blue butterfly haze rested over Lila's face as her eyes glazed over. Many in the class stared in shock and horror. All except Chloé, Adrien and Marinette. The voice of the person speaking to Lila could be heard by everyone in the room. The calm smooth comforting voice, did not have the same menacing tone as it had previously had when being used for evil. "I am Enabler, and I give you the courage to tell the truth, all that you say will be void of lies, and it is your choice if you accept my help."

Well this was different.

Lila stated out loud so all could hear, "Enabler I do not need you, I know my truth and it is my choice to tell it."

"That is true Lila, but I would not have been able to grant you this if you had not wanted the strength to do so."

"I think I'll pass." Lila smirked.

"Very well, good luck Miss Rossi." With that, the butterfly left her being. The colour dissolving from the creature as it flew off through an open window.

Everyone sat focused on Lila, who was now smiling sweetly at her mother. "Where do I start?"

The look exchanged between Lila and her mother was indecipherable, many held their breath as she walked to the front of the class. Casually approaching Jagged, she gestured for the clipboard which he handed to to her with a sceptically raised eyebrow.

Turning to face the class she flipped through the papers, a menacingly amused smirk plastered on her face. "Ha! I have told a few porkies haven't I?" She smiled brightly as she fondly shook her head at the words on the pages. "You idiots have finally come to realise though I see. Oh well," she dropped the pages and folded her arms slipping the clipboard under her arm in the process. "Took you all long enough, although, I've got to say," she looked at Jagged and Prince Ali, "you have a thing for the dramatics at this school don't you!"

"Was any of it true?" Miss Bustier asked, as Lila looked indifferently to a spot on the back wall.

"My name is Lila Rossi, that is true." She shrugged.

"You know one was investigated for fraud because of you." All eyes rested on Prince Ali, "all the the claims you made about starting charities that did not exist-"

"Why are you even here?" Lila barked as she squinted at the royal. "You do not have ANY reason to be here."

Jagged answered for him, "as it happens Miss Rossi, we both have reason to be here." His rocker persona changing to that of a business man with a serious tone to match.

Lila looked pissed off as she rolled here eyes in response to the rocker.

"On several occasions we have employed people to find you and give you these, but you have always evaded them." Jagged started, as he plucked two white envelopes off the desk at the front of the room. "When we were approached by members of your class and each asked about the lies you have told, we could not simply let the opportunity to serve you these pass us by."

Lila looked down shocked at the envelopes thrusted into her arms. "You can't give me these! I am a minor!" She exclaimed defiantly.

"Actually we can," Prince Ali countered, "but if you are not of sound mind, that is why-" he took the papers back and handed them to Madame Rossi, "-your mother will be able to accept them on your behalf."

A low gasp echoed from the students, they had not been informed of this action before.

"Not very rock and roll I am sorry," Jagged continued, "but your claims have caused ripples for ourselves as public figures and have damaged our reputation-"

"How have I damaged your reputation you imbecile?" Lila stomped her foot angrily.

Jagged lost the professional exterior and looked incredulously at her. "You seriously thin' it's a good thin' for a grown man to righ' a song abou' an underaged teenage girl?" He exasperatedly shrugged at her. "Penny blew a gasket when she 'eard abou' it, and Gatwick wen' apeshi' when they fought I allowed you to be on yer todd on the runway!" He shook his head, "I never even 'ad a bleedin' kitten!"

"There's no proof to say I've even received these! I haven't signed anything! My mother will not sign anything-"

"No but I have it on camera."

Lila shot daggers at Alya, and then looked angrily at her phone. "You're supposed to be my friend!" She shouted, "why on earth would you do this to me?"

"Friends don't lie to each other," Alix answered blankly.

"You have caused so many problems in this class Lila," Sabrina added.

"We can't let you get away with it." Alya concluded.

"Tha' brings me to our next order of business!" Jagged exclaimed looking towards Prince Ali.

"Ah yes! Your allegations against Mr Couffaine."

"What about them?" Lila spat.

Juleka stood up. "They were false, weren't they."

All eyes were on the raven haired beauty, after all the suffering she had seen Luka experience because of Lila's lie caused her to question her publicly.

"It's my word against his-"

"Lila, you have a chance to confess if it was a lie right now." Miss Bustier interrupted, "if it is true I will believe you, because allegations of that nature are not to be thrown around and I know anyone can be a victim." Miss Bustier was solemn, "but please, if it is not true, can you please tell us now."

Lila looked hatefully at Juleka as she grasped at Rose's hand for support. Lila seemed to be having an internal struggle with her self, as everyone waited with baited breath.

"I lied."

The tension which had built up was released with an unanimous exhale from the class, as Lila screwed up her face. "That shouldn't have escalated the way it did," Lila had a somewhat remorseful tone to her words.

"Lila!" Her mother exclaimed. "How could you?"

"Oh bite me!" Lila shot back bitterly, "you knew exactly what was going on so drop the act mother!" She spat out with a snarl as multiple pairs of eyes looked between the two Rossi women.

Madame Rossi lost the indignant expression in an instant, replacing it with a hatful expression matching Lila's. "Only after I caught you with that knife!"

Mr Damocles was sat in his office watching with intent the exchange happening in Miss Bustier's class. His stomach in knots as all the flawless features of this student came crashing down. He would not have believed it if he had not had heard it with his own ears. He was shaking his head in utter turmoil, how could he have let this happen? Lila had been caught with a knife, did she have it in school? Was she carrying it now? Mr Damocles picked up the handset of his desk phone, with every intent of calling the police about the matter when he caught something else in the corner of his eye.

Grainy pictures made it difficult to decipher when peering at his security monitors, but out on the steps at the front of the school stood a handful of people. One of them looked remarkably like the man he was just about to call.

"I told you I was doing it for us!" Lila pointedly looked at her mother amidst the low rumble of the class. "When we came here, you told me you were starting a job as a diplomat, not a cleaner at the embassy!"

"My lie never hurt any-"

"It hurt me!" Lila emotionally turned away from her mother looking at the door, not wanting to face the class in her vulnerable state. She added quietly, "there's nothing wrong with being a cleaner." Lila sniffled, "but I told everyone about this wonderful lifestyle we had without knowing that I was already elaborating on a lie."

Madame Rossi sat indignantly, not giving any indication of accepting the she herself may have some responsibility for her daughters ways. huffing aggressively, she looked pointedly at the floor refusing to meet any of the gazes which were now focused on her.

"That still doesn't explain why you targeted Marinette." Alya stood up with defiance, "don't start playing the victim when you just admitted to lying." Alya could not bring herself to look behind to her former best friend. "Why did you target her?"

Lila's smirk was back as she turned to look menacingly at Alya. "It was easy when she had such shit friends." Lila let out a hollow laugh, while wiping a tear from the corner of her eye. "Honestly, if you had been more supportive, I probably would backed off a long time ago."

Most of the occupants shifted uncomfortably in their seats. Some of Marinette's peers of course had seen the light, but it had still taken a while for the full divide to take shape. Jagged Stone and Prince Ali looked awkwardly to Miss Bustier.

"I think it's best we leave you to i'." Jagged commented shifting uncomfortably.

"One would agree it is our time to depart," Prince Ali concurred.

The men walked out together with Jagged shouting back, "Marinette I'll call you la'er!" Making a phone gesture with his hand and waving at her enthusiastically. "Your highness," he turned enthusiastically to his the royal, "you really need to try..." Jagged's voice disappeared as the door shut behind them both.

"So it was because I had crap friends then," Marinette deadpanned at Lila, getting to her feet and standing strong. "Or was it because I saw through your first lie?"

"You know Marinette, we really could have been good friends," Lila ignored Marinette's question while tapping her chin in apparent thought. "There was just one problem though."

"Let me guess," Marinette raised an eyebrow at the brunette, "I wouldn't let you fool everyone."

"No," Lila waved her hand dismissively, "I needed Adrien for my plan to work." She shrugged, "trouble was, he was already smitten with someone else." Lila pointedly held Marinette's eye contact, "and somehow you still managed to snatch him up."

Marinette scoffed, their peers switching their gazes as if watching a tennis ball being hit back and forth on Wimbledon Centre Court.

"You talk like Adrien's an object." Marinette narrowed her eyes.

"That's how his dad seen him." Lila shot back. Multiple people winced.

"He's his own person Lila, he can do whatever he wants."

"Still, I needed him more than ever once I found out about my mother's lie."

"What they hell did you need me for?" Adrien interjected their exchange.

"Status, fame, fortune, blackmailing prospects." The menacing smirk only became wider as her eyes drifted over him. Lila's mother audibly groaned while grimacing behind her daughter. "Don't act like that mother! You are well aware of what my plan has been."

Please don't hate me...

I have been looking at narcissistic behaviour, and the possible causes, this is something I feel Lila could have. Many websites site the nature versus nurture argument, that it could link to the parenting style and or inherited genetics. So this is the angle I have gone for. Some may not say it is not cannon, but lets be honest, we have not actually seen anything but a mum who is easily fooled. What if she is allowing Lila to get away with lies because she is also hiding a few herself.

I also wish to add that the butterfly colour symbolises truth, so if a target would need strength it would be red, happiness would be pink etc... we've not seen the Miraculous used for good so I thought that was an interesting concept. Thoughts?

Anyway I di-Agreste...
