Image Problem

Aelita and Yumi were running in the ice sector, trying to get to a tower.

"Thirty degrees north!" Jeremy ordered through his communicator. The two followed the order, and ended up running down a natural ice bridge that led straight to their destination. "You should be able to see it." When they got close to it, they stopped running.

"No kidding. It sticks out like a sore thumb." Yumi commented. They walked over to the tower, while they looked around for any sign of XANA, but there was none. "It's awfully calm." Yumi said, suspicious.

"Well, be careful. You never know." Jeremy said, looking for any signs of monsters on his map. They got in front of the inactive tower. Aelita walked passed Yumi, who was still looking around for monsters, and walked inside of the tower. The tower's insides lit up as she walked to the middle. Aelita floated to the top and activated its screen.

"Yoohoo, hi Jeremy." Aelita said when her face appeared on Jeremy's monitor. "I don't see anything out of the ordinary in the tower. Are you sure it's the right one?"

"That's what the scan picked up, at least for a few seconds."

Yumi was kicking ice pebbles, when she suddenly heard something weird. She turned around fast, trying to find the source of the noise. It sounded like… flapping.

"You said you felt pulsations earlier, no?" Jeremy asked.

"I did, well yes and no. I thought I felt them, but now I'm not sure." That's when Aelita and Jeremy heard a loud screech, and Yumi's scream. Aelita gasped. "That was Yumi!" Aelita said, getting up off the floor.

"What's going on?! Can you hear me Yumi?!" Jeremy started typing, trying to get a hold of Yumi, but there was no answer.

"Jeremy, Yumi's disappeared!" Aelita informed.

"What?! Tha-that's impossible, she couldn't have just disappeared.

Down in the scanner room, the right scanner suddenly opened.

Jeremy suddenly saw that Yumi was devirtualized.

"Uh, Aelita, hold on a sec, I have to see something." Jeremy ran over to the elevator and went down to the scanners. When he finally got down and the elevator doors opened, he immediately found Yumi on the ground, unconscious. "Yumi."

Back with the others, Ben, Odd, and Ulrich, were in front of the vending machines, doing nothing in particular. Odd was using the vending machine, trying to get hot chocolate. When the machine stopped pouring, Odd picked it up and took a sip, and immediately gagged.

"Hey, what's wrong with the hot chocolate today? It taste like dirty sweat socks and old sneakers." Ulrich shook his head. "Everyone, Odd the gourmet."

"Dude, how do you know how any of those things taste?" Ben asked with one eyebrow up. Instead of answering, Odd threw away the drink in disgust. That's when Sissi arrived. She went over to the vending machine, not without taking one quick glance at Ulrich. Ulrich raised his eyebrows, surprised Sissi wasn't bothering him.

In fact, now that he thought of it, Sissi hasn't been screeching for his attention for a couple days now. Ulrich was cut from his thoughts by his phone.

"Hello? Oh hey Jeremy." Odd smirked.

"You know Sissi, I recommend the hot chocolate, just had it and its delis…" Ben covered Odd's mouth with his arm. "

"Ignore the pointy haired idiot. Get anything other than the chocolate."

"Mmh mmh!" Odd said while trying to get Ben's arm off his mouth. Sissi, deciding to trust Ben, chose tea.

"Thanks Ben." She said, when she got her tea. She quickly looked at Ulrich, and walked off. Ben let go of Odd, who was wiping "Ben germs" off of his mouth.

"Agh, what was that for?!"

"What?! You were trying to get Sissi to drink brown sewer water!"

"Yeah, cause it would have been funny." Ben rolled his eyes.

"Whatever, I just didn't think it'd be right. She wasn't even doing anything." Ben said, looking away. Odd leaned into Ben with one eyebrow up.

"Mmm." Ben leaned back.

"What?" Before Odd could answer, Ulrich spoke up.

"Guys, we're meeting up with Jeremy. Yumi's in trouble."

Ben opened the nurse's door, allowing Ulrich and Odd, who were carrying Yumi, to walk in. Nurse Yolanda looked at the scene with shock, as the two put Yumi on the bed easily.

"What happened?" Yolanda asked. Jeremy walked up to her.

"Uh, well, she started feeling sick, during break." Jeremy lied.

"It's because she's been studying real hard. If you want my opinion, I think our teachers give us way too much homework." Odd said.

"Right, well why don't you let me be the judge of that. You all, go back to your classes, I'll take good care of Yumi." Jeremy, Odd, Ulrich, and Ben, looked at Yumi for a few seconds, worried, before leaving. The nurse immediately went to check her pulse, when Yumi slowly opened her eyes. "Oh Yumi. How are you feeling?"

Instead of answering, Yumi sat up and was about to go when Yolanda stopped her.

"Oh no, it's way too early for you to go now. You need to rest." Yumi frowned and grabbed Yolanda by the wrist. Yolanda yelped in surprise, only making Yumi's frown deepen.

After their last class for the day, the boys decided to meet up in front of the cafeteria for lunch. Jeremy and Odd were sitting on the steps, Ben was sitting on the ground, and Ulrich was standing up.

"Are you sure she wasn't hit by a laser, or maybe a megatank was hiding somewhere." Ulrich asked, a little anxious. Jeremy told the three what happened, but it didn't make sense. You can't just devirtualized for no reason. The whole thing just made Ulrich nervous for Yumi. Jeremy shook his head.

"If there was something like that, I would have seen it on the map."

"Maybe it was a monster that you couldn't see on the map." Ben said, flicking a small pebble at the wooden stairs.

"Ben, there's no monster I can't see. Besides, she still had all of her life points before it was devirtualized. No it must have been something else. Something wrong with the scanners maybe. I mean, she actually passed out when she got out of the scanner. Normally the return trips pretty easy." Odd jumped in.

"Hah, you must've never gotten hit by a mega tank, have you?" Ulrich, still thinking of Yumi, started pacing. He looked up and saw, who else, Yumi, looking completely fine.

"Yumi!" Ulrich called out. She turned around in surprise.

"Well look at that." Ben said, getting up.

"Guess you're feeling better huh?" Odd asked, as the four walked over to her.

"You had us scared." Ulrich said.

"Tell us what happened?" Jeremy said, wanting to know immediately what he needed to fix. Yumi just stared at them for a few seconds before turning around. Before she could walk away however, Ulrich grabbed her shoulder.

"Yumi, you ok?"

"Uh yeah." She said, while turning around and holding her head.

"I'm jus,t tired."

"Yumi, tell us what happened on Lyoko." Jeremy said, more insistently. Yumi started getting annoyed.

"Nothing you hear?!" She lashed out. Everyone looked at her, surprised. Yumi wasn't usually like this. "Anyways, let's go to the factory, now." Ben raised an eyebrow.

"Um, why?"

"Well, we left Aelita so suddenly, we should check if she's alright."

"In your condition, that'd be a terrible idea." Ulrich said.

"Besides, I can just check on her later with my dorm computer." Odd's stomach suddenly grumbled.

"Good news Yumi, I'm sure that whatever's wrong with you can get healed with the best medicine out there, food." Odd, laughed at his joke, while Yumi just walked past all four boys and into the cafeteria. Odd stopped laughing when he noticed the cold silence. He looked at the others who just shrugged.

Back on Lyoko, Aelita was still in the tower, looking for anything that could link to Yumi's sudden devirtualization, but so far, there was nothing. Aelita sighed while wondering if it was possible for an AI to get tired. That's when Aelita started to feel something. The moment she noticed them, she sat completely still, waiting for, *Boom* There it went again, stronger than the last.

"Pulsations. Weak, but I can feel them." She hesitated for a second before standing up. "I need to check it out." With that, she exited the tower and looked around, trying to feel the pulsations again. When she did, she looked straight ahead. Over in the distance, Aelita could see a small ice mountain, which is where the pulsations seemed to lead to, but something was weird about this mountain.

Aelita squinted her eyes. She was sure she could see something, glowing on top of there.

In the lunchroom, the gang were at their table, eating their lunch, well everyone except for Yumi, who just sat there and watched everyone. The others tried to make it seem like it wasn't bothering them, for Yumi's sake, but it was really hard. Finally, Jeremy had to ask again.

"So you're telling us you don't remember what happened at all?"

"Not after Aelita went inside the tower, no." She said, kind of monotone.

"You know, maybe it was because of the scanners. Those things aren't exactly, safe." Ben said, before eating another meatball.

"Maybe it's XANA trying out a new way of attacking." Ulrich raised an eyebrow.

"What an amnesia attack? Get real Odd. How could XANA pull that off?" Odd shrugged. Jeremy rested his head on his hand.

"I honestly have no idea. I'm starting to wonder if all these transfers are becoming a health problem." Jeremy thought with a frown. Sissi walked over to them with a tray of food, and stopped in the middle of Yumi and Jeremy.

"Yumi, I heard what happened to you during break. I'll admit, I was a little worried. So are you ok, or what?" Odd made a dramatic shocked face.

"What?! Sissi caring about something that doesn't have to do with her makeup?! I think the lunch lady put something in my food." Ben rolled his eyes.

"I don't know, why don't you take another bite?" And with that, he took Odd's spoon and shoved a spoonful of food in the spiky haired boy's mouth. Odd took the spoon out and swallowed the food.

"Are you crazy?! What was that for?!" Ben shrugged. Yumi turned to Sissi.

"I'm fine, thanks for asking. I can see why Ulrich likes you." She said so suddenly. If Ulrich had a drink in his mouth, he would have done a spit take.

"What?!" Ulrich and Sissi said in unison. "Yumi, what are you talking about?" Ulrich asked. Yumi just looked at him like she was discussing the weather.

"What? The way you constantly avoid her, and try and keep her away from you, I would think it was pretty obvious."

"Hold on, you wouldn't be trying to make fun of me, would you?" Sissi asked cautiously. Yumi just gave her a blank stare, making the principle's daughter blush. "R-right, I-I have to go now." Sissi walked quickly away from the group and out the door, completely passing Herb and Nicholas without even a glance.

Herb was shocked at first, but he quickly looked over to Ulrich and the others and glared. Meanwhile, Ulrich was furious.

"Yumi, what are you doing? Sissi's finally starting to give me space, and now you go on and say things like that!" Yumi raised an eyebrow. Before she could say something, a hand touched her shoulder. She turned around and everyone was surprised to see Delmas.

"Yumi, you are to come with me immediately."

Aelita was finally able to get to the bottom of the mountain. She looked up, and could now see that what was making that weird light was some kind of, ball. Aelita raised an eyebrow.

"What could that be?" She looked around until she found a path that led straight up. She didn't waste any time, and started running up it. She was halfway there, when suddenly a laser hit the ground in front of her, making her stop. She looked up to see a krankerlout looking straight at her, three more showed up, and two bloks as well.

They immediately started charging up their attacks, before firing at her. Aelita dodged the attacks, and threw an energy field that missed, before hugging the wall in front of her, getting out of the way of the attacks.

"Whatever that is, I have to tell Jeremy." She said before running back to her tower.

"What's going on with Yumi, is she mad at me or something?" Ulrich asked Jeremy, Odd and Ben, who were all outside of the lunchroom.

"Well that depends." Odd said. "What stupid/clueless thing have you done now?" Ulrich glared at Odd.

"Not funny." He said harshly. Odd took a small step back.

"Noted."

"But where did that come from? Now she's saying that you like Sissi? Was her brain switched with an aliens?" Ben asked, scratching his head.

"I think she just had a pretty bad shock back at the factory. I…" Jeremy was suddenly interrupted.

"Ulrich!" They all turned to see Herb and Nicholas trying to act tough as they walked towards them.

"What's the big idea, making Sissi not even notice us?" Herb asked, furious.

"I don't think we need to do anything to make that happen." Odd muttered, making Ben snicker. Jeremy, however, was not amused. He walked in front of Herb.

"Listen Herb, we don't have time for this. You want to know why she wasn't paying attention to you, how about you just ask her yourself." Herb glared at Jeremy for a few seconds before giving up.

"Agh, whatever." He said, before stomping off with Nicholas behind him. Jeremy turned and sighed.

"Wow, look at you Einstein. Way to show Herb and Nicholas the door." Odd said, smiling. Jeremy shook his head.

"Don't get used to it. I think I'd rather leave the love drama to you Ulrich. I'm gonna go back to the dorms and try and figure out how I can help Yumi."

"I'll go with you." Ben said. "I have history homework, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but after all the weird stuff that's happened, I could use a little boring in my life." Jeremy nodded, and they both went back to their dorm.

"Yumi, this is unacceptable." Delmas said, slamming his fist on his desk. "Our poor nurse Yolanda is still very upset. You're lucky she decided not to press charges, but don't think I won't punish you for such disrespect." Yumi stayed silent. "I'm giving you two weeks of detention in the library, and you can start immediately. Jim is waiting for you." Yumi stayed where she was, silent. "Well go on."

Ordered Delmas, but Yumi didn't take a step. Delmas stepped away from his desk and closer to Yumi.

"Something's troubling you Yumi." This time, she turned around so she couldn't face the head master. "You can tell me about it you know?" Yumi looked down at the floor. "Yumi, part of my job is to help you. Whatever you need to say you can say it. I won't judge." Still not a word, this time Delmas got annoyed, thinking that she was just being stubborn.

"Alright, keep this up and I will have to inform your parents about the way you're behaving." This time, Yumi turned around.

"Not my parents." She said, in a way that sounded more like an order. She stared at Delmas with piercing eyes, which was frankly freaking the principle out, but he kept his composer.

"That's enough now Ms. Ishyama." Delmas ordered, before looking at the phone on his desk. Delmas walked over to the phone and grabbed it, but before he could pick it up, Yumi put her hand on his, holding his hand and the phone down with surprising strength. "What?! Young lady, get your hand off the phone right now!"

"Not my parents!" Yumi said, more sternly this time."

"I won't warn you again. Yumi if you keep this up, I will suspend you!"

"No!" Yumi ripped the phone out of Delmas' hand and raised it up over her head, as the symbol on XANA appeared on her forehead. Delmas leaned back in shock, but was unable to do anything as "Yumi" slammed the phone down on his head, knocking him unconscious. He fell to the floor, as Yumi quickly put the phone back on the desk.

She then picked Delmas up with ease and stuffed him in the office closet. She looked around before walking out of the room, closing it on the way out. The secretary without looking up from her monitor cleared her throat.

"I hope you learn your lesson young lady."

"Of course ma'am." Yumi replied as she walked out of the room with a smirk on her face, and two XANA symbols for eyes.

"As soon as I got close to the monsters, they started to shoot." Aelita informed Jeremy as they talked in his room. Ben was laying on his bed doing his History, as Aelita informed Jeremy about the strange bubble on top of the mountain. Jeremy was not happy to hear it.

"You shouldn't have left the tower Aelita." Aelita looked down.

"I know. You're not too mad at me are you?"

"Don't worry Aelita, There's no way Jeremy could stay mad at you." Ben teased while making kissing noises. Jeremy blushed.

"Ben, shut up." He said, throwing a book at him. Ben blocked it with his textbook and snickered. Jeremy turned back to Aelita, who, if she could, would be blushing too.

"And I'm not mad Aelita, just worried. I have no idea what that bubble could be, or how it could link to XANA. I guess it's a good thing you found it after all. With all these weird things happening, both on Earth and Lyoko, maybe they're connected."

"Should I go back there?" Aelita asked.

"No, hold on. I'll send Ben, Ulrich, and Odd as backup. I don't know if I'm ready to send Yumi, with all that's happened today."

"No more history!" Ben cheered. Aelita wasn't so ecstatic about the idea.

"Jeremy, what happened to Yumi might happen to them too. If they came to Lyoko now, it might be dangerous for them." Ben groaned and dropped his book on his face.

"Aw, history." Jeremy sighed, ignoring Ben.

"I guess you're right, just, please be careful." Aelita winked.

"You know me." With that, she logged off. Jeremy got off his chair and stretched.

"I'm gonna get something out of the vending machine, you want anything?"

"Yeah, Tayto, the smoky bacon kind. Thanks." Jeremy nodded and walked out. Ben, went back to his book and sighed.

"Augh, I'd fight ten megatanks, and I'd still have less of a headache then I have with this stupid book." The door slowly opened, Ben, thinking it was Jeremy continued reading. "You forget your wallet?"

"Ben?" Ben widened his eyes and turned to Yumi, who was looking around.

"Y-yumi?" He quickly got up and put his book away. "What are you doing here?"

"I'm looking for Jeremy. Do you know where he is?"

"Uh, wait, you went to the principal's office. Everything ok? Why'd he take you?"

"It was nothing. I handled it." Ben raised an eyebrow. The way she answered that sounded, weird.

"Um, ok."

"Where's Jeremy?" Yumi asked, a little more insistently. Ben didn't want to tell her, something about her seemed, desperate. The way she looked around, a little anxiously. Ben doubted anyone besides him and his friends would notice.

"W-why do you need him?" Yumi turned to Ben.

"I think we should go back to Lyoko. I just have a bad feeling."

"Lyoko? Uh, actually Jeremy just talked to Aelita. She said that there was some weird monster activity, but other than that, nothing too serious. No activated tower."

"I just really have a, feeling." Ben shook his head.

"Yumi, even if you talked to Jeremy, he'd say no. Aelita thinks it's too dangerous, and Jeremy agrees with her." Yumi looked at Ben for a few seconds before smiling, in a… weird way. She walked over to him.

"But you don't think that, right?" She sat down next to him, and looked at him seductively.

"Wh-what? Uh, well i…"

"You know we should go check it out. See what that, strange activity is." Yumi put her hand on Ben thigh, and he gulped.

"Well, i-it's a li-little weird, but Je-jeremy…"

"You're his best friend, you know that. I'm sure he'll let us go, with a little, convincing." Yumi slowly moved her hand up Ben's thigh. Ben had no idea what to say, or do. All he could say was,

"Uhhhhh…" And all he could think was, 'Uhhhhh' As Yumi got closer to, uh, a sensitive topic, the door suddenly opened, and Ulrich and Odd walked in, making them both look up in shock.

"Hey, Jeremy. I need to…" They turned to Yumi and Ben, and widened their eyes.

"Uh, Ulrich, Odd, it's not what it," Ben pushed Yumi's arm off. "It's not what it looks like. Ulrich was the first to recover and glared. He walked out, and Ben got up and followed him. Odd looked back at Yumi and frowned.

"What was that about huh?" Yumi just stared at him, and he shook his head before following Ben and Ulrich. Yumi turned to Jeremey's computer setup and smirked.

Aelita looked at the guarded mountain, and saw that the monsters learned from their mistakes. Waiting at the bottom were four bloks. She took a deep breath.

"Here goes nothing." She charged and created two energy fields. The monsters saw her and fired. Aelita jumped and threw both balls of energy mid-air. One hit its target, destroying it. She landed and continued running. One block spun around and fired an ice beam in front of Aelita, hoping she'd run right into it. Instead, Aelita slid under it, and fired an energy field at the monster, destroying it.

Two more left, and the loss of their fellow Bloks didn't affect them at all. Aelita dodged the lasers and reached out to the ground. Suddenly some steps grew out of the ground. Aelita ran up them and jumped above the Bloks. She then created an energy field and came crashing down in the middle of the two Bloks, creating a hug shockwave that sent the two flying.

The two Bloks hit the ground hard and devirtualized. Before she could celebrate, a laser hit her in the shoulder. She held it and looked up to see, at the top of the mountain, krankerlouts and Bloks charging their attacks. She looked ahead of her and saw a cave entrance. Without hesitation, Aelita ran for the cave, just when the monsters began to fire at her.

She got in the cave, luckily without any more damage. She took deep breaths, trying to calm down as she heard a storm of lasers outside.

"…and we can also observe cases of pathogenies among certain insects. This phenomenon is relatively common and comparable to a sort of natural cloning. That is to say, the animal gives birth to a replica of itself, and exact replica with no difference between them." Ms. Hertz continued her lecture, while going back to the board and writing things down.

Unfortunately, Ben wasn't exactly able to concentrate. Maybe it was the whole Yumi thing and how she's been acting really weird since she got back from Lyoko, maybe it's the fact that one of his friends was burning his back with a glare, maybe it was the fact that he really doesn't actually care about natural cloning.

Ben looked back and saw Ulrich writing notes, still visibly angry about the whole Yumi thing. Odd looked up and saw him. Ben hoped he'd see some sort of reason, instead Odd stuck his tongue out.

'Well, it is Odd.' Ben thought as he turned around and sighed. "At least you stuck with me Jeremy." Ben whispered to Jeremy. Ben told his roommate about the whole thing, and he was the only one right now that didn't think of him as a scumbag.

"Well I mean, this is my seat, but sure." He whispered back. A little while later the bell range.

"Alright, we'll continue with this subject tomorrow. Finish reading the chapter so you can better understand the lesson." She advised, as people gathered their things and left. Ulrich and Odd were the first to leave the classroom, followed by Jeremy and Ben. Ben ran up to Ulrich and grabbed his arm.

"Ulrich, just give me a minute." Ulrich ripped his arm out of Ben's grasp.

"And why should I?"

"Because you know that I'd never try anything with Yumi. C'mon, we've been friends for a long time now, do you really think I'd just suddenly try and date her?" Ulrich frowned and looked down, a bit confused.

"I-I don't know. If you weren't trying to do anything, what do you call what happened in your dorm?"

"Yumi acting crazy! Just like she did when we saw her before lunch, just like did when she told Sissi you liked her. Something's wrong with her, and it has to do with Lyoko."

"But why would she go to your room and act weird, why you?" Ulrich asked. It sounded like he wanted to know why it wasn't him, but held his tongue. Ben thought about it, then widened his eyes.

"Wait, before, uh stuff happened." Ulrich gave Ben a deadpanned look.

"She was asking me for Jeremy." Jeremy widened his eyes, and blushed.

"M-me?"

"Not for that!" Ben said, punching him lightly in the arm. "She wanted you to send us to Lyoko."

"Lyoko? Didn't she want to go to Lyoko this morning?" Odd asked.

"Why does she want to go back so badly? You'd think after what happened she'd want to stay as far away as possible." Ulrich said. Ben frowned.

"Maybe, maybe this isn't some kind of traumatic stress she's going through. Maybe XANA really did do something to her."

"What do you mean?" Jeremy asked.

"Well, maybe XANA infected her with something that makes her need to stay in Lyoko. Maybe that's why she's doing all of those weird things. It's like, a side effect from staying away from Lyoko for so long."

"If that's true, then we need to take Yumi to Lyoko right away!" Ulrich insisted.

"Now wait, we don't know for sure if that's the reason. Let's go back to my room and see if Aelita's come back with news." Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

"What if this whole thing is fatal Jeremy, we need to go to Lyoko!" Ulrich insisted.

"Well before we go, I just want to make sure we're not running straight into a trap. I don't want whatever's happening to Yumi to happen to you guys too." Jeremy went to unlock the door, but saw that it already was unlocked. "Huh, Ben, you forgot to lock the door." Ben raised an eyebrow.

"Oh, must've forgot." Jeremy opened the door and everyone looked at what was in front of them, shocked. Jeremy's whole computer set up was ruined. The Monitor was cracked and on the floor, his actual computer had holes in it, the keyboard was missing several keys, and wires were everywhere.

Jeremy ran up to his crushed set and fell on his knees.

"M-my set up, everything, ruined." Ulrich and everyone walked up behind him to look at the damage.

"This doesn't look like something you can fix." Odd said. Jeremy slowly shook his head.

"There's no way I can. It's all just, gone."

"You think Sissi might be behind this?" Ulrich asked. Ben frowned.

"You know, not everything has to be Sissi." Ulrich raised an eyebrow.

"Maybe it was Herb. He got pretty mad at you when you told him off." Jeremy shook his head.

"I don't know, it could be any… wait. Who was the last one in this room?" Jeremy asked, trying to confirm something. Ben raised an eyebrow.

"That'd be me ri…" He then remembered something. He left to chase after Ulrich. He knew Odd came shortly after, leaving… The others seemed to get the picture too. Ulrich shook his head.

"No way, you can't actually think…"

"It'd make sense. She's been acting pretty weird today. Maybe Ben's right." Odd said.

"If this is XANA, then we might have to go to Lyoko after all. Aelita might also be in danger." Jeremy said.

"So, we're going to Lyoko?" Everyone turned to the door and saw Yumi, looking at them with no emotions whatsoever. Jeremy frowned and stood up. Ben whispered to him.

"We need to get to Lyoko, before Yumi turns into the school vandal." Jeremy thought about him for a second before nodding.

"Yeah, we're going right now." Everyone ran out of the room, with Yumi at the rear, smirking.

Jeremy sat down on his chair, and he started the virtualization program. Back in the elevator that was heading for the scanners, the four Lyoko warriors stood in uncomfortable silence. Ben was looking at the ground, trying to avoid looking at Yumi. Ulrich was looking at Yumi, Odd was looking at the door, and Yumi was just staring blankly at nothing.

Finally, the door opened into the scanner room. Ben went to the middle one, Odd went to the left one, and Yumi and Ulrich went to the right.

"Yumi, you can go first."

"No Ulrich, you should. I'll be right behind you." She gave him a sweet smile, and Ulrich blushed.

"A-alright, see you there." Ulrich went inside of the scanner, along with Ben and Odd. Jeremy started up the program.

"Transfer Ulrich, transfer Odd, transfer Ben. Scan Ulrich, scan Odd, scan Ben. "Virtualization!" The scanners stopped humming, and Yumismirked.

The three Lyoko warriors landed in the ice sector with no problem.

"Alright, now I'll virtualize Yumi. Ben, you're aliens today are Upgrade, Wildmutt, and Stinkfly."

"Thanks Einstein." Ben said, looking around. After a minute, the three were still waiting for Yumi.

"Uh, Jeremy. What's up?" Odd asked with his hands behind his head. After two seconds, Jeremy answered.

"I don't know. The computer's saying she's not in a scanner."

"Maybe something happened to her." Ulrich said, worried. Jeremy thought about it, before setting up the return to the past.

"Alright, I'm going to the scanner room. You guys get to Aelita." The three nodded, before hearing a laser shot. The turned to their left.

"Looks like we don't have to go far." Odd said, pointing at Aelita, who was getting chased by five krabs. Ben turned into Wildmutt before charging. Ulrich took out his sword and Odd went on all fours before charging behind Ben. Ben howled before jumping over Aelita and crashing into a krab, sending it on its side.

Wildmutt jumped off and landed on the ground with a skid. He then ran to the krab and swiped it in its weak point, destroying it. A krab aimed a laser at a distracted Aelita. It fired, but the laser was blocked by Ulrich. The krab started firing rapidly. The lasers weren't as strong as a properly charged one, but anything was better than losing.

Ulrich blocked the attacks with his sword, meanwhile Odd charged at a krab, running at it on all fours. When he was close enough he jumped in the air, landed on it, jumped off of it and shot a laser arrow into its head. Odd then landed on the krab that was desperately trying to hit Ulrich, and stopped its attack.

The krab tried to shake Odd off, but the pointy haired kid was sticking to the monster like glue. Odd dug his nails into the krab and slid down, dragging his nails down the XANA symbol. When he successfully clawed across the whole symbol, he back flipped off, and the monster was destroyed.

Odd high fived Ulrich, just before a laser hit the samurai's shoulder, sending him on the ground. Odd turned to a krab that already had another laser charged. It fired, and Aelita stepped in front of the two boys and used an energy shield to block the attack. The krab charged its attack again, but this time, before it could fire, ben, as upgrade, while possessing the last krab, jumped on its head, inserting its sharp legs into the monster's weak point.

Ben got out of the krab he possessed, right before the bottom krab exploded, taking the last krab with him. Aelita sighed in relief, and Odd helped Ulrich up. Ben walked over to the others and transformed back into himself.

"What are you all doing here?" Aelita asked, kind of upset.

"We had to. Yumi's getting worse, and we need to get to the bottom of it." Ulrich said.

"We thought brining her here would solve the problem, but Jeremy said she never got in the scanner." Odd said, looking worried.

"But I told Jeremy that it was too dangerous for you to be here. What if you guys turn out like Yumi?" Ben walked up to her and put a hand on her shoulder.

"Aelita, it's like Ulrich said. Yumi's getting worse and we need to fix it. If helping her means us getting hurt, it'll be worth it." Aelita still seemed worried, but she nodded.

"Fine, just please be careful." Ben winked.

"You know us." Aelita smiled.

"Alright, I'll lead you to the weird bubble I saw. If we want an explanation on what happened to Yumi, that's are best bet." Everyone nodded and headed for the mountain.

The elevator door opened to the scanner room. Jeremy ran in and saw Yumi pulling on the huge wires connected to the scanners. After a few tugs, the wires were successfully ripped out. Jeremy widened his eyes.

"Yumi!" Yumi turned around, and was shocked to see Jeremy. She quickly got over her shock and smirked as the symbol of XANA showed clearly on her head. Jeremy took a step back. "XANA." He whispered. XANA walked to the middle of the room and cracked her knuckles. Jeremy debated whether he should run back to elevator or stay and fight. He looked at the disconnected wires.

'If I go, she'll just go back to messing with the scanners. Who knows what will happen if all the scanners deactivated. The others will cease to exist. I can't let that happen!' Jeremy thought before gulping and charging at the face Yumi. XANA smirked before charging to. Jeremy swung, but XANA easily sidestepped.

She then grabbed him by the back of the shirt and threw him at the wall. Jeremy hit the wall and fell on the ground, face first. He painfully got up with a bloody nose. He slowly got up, only making XANA smirk more. With a yell, Jeremy charged again.

The group finally reached the mountain. Ben, Ulrich, and Odd saw the big yellow bubble, and looked at it with wide eyes.

"That's the weird bubble you were talking about?" Ben asked. Aelita nodded.

"Well, it definitely got the weird part down." Odd said.

"If XANA cares about it so much, it must have something important." Ulrich said. "Let's take it down." Everyone nodded, and they charged for the mountain. Krankerlouts and bloks, gathered around the edge and started firing at the heroes. All four ran for the mountain while dodging the attacks.

"I'm going ahead." Ben announced before turning into Stinkfly. He shot to the skies. He dodged the lasers, while going directly for the monsters.

"I'll go too. Odd, take care of Aelita." He super sprinted up the path to the top of the mountain. When he got to there, he was met with two Bloks that were blocking the path. Ulrich took out his sword and the Bloks fired. The samurai blocked the attacks as he got closer to the monsters.

When he was close enough, Ulrich threw his sword at the left Blok, hitting it right in the weak point. The Blok was destroyed, and Ulrich caught the sword in midair and sliced the other on in its weak point, destroying it. Ulrich turned to the bubble and quickly ran towards it. Some monsters saw this, turned around and fired at him.

Ulrich blocked a few with his sword, but the lasers were really starting to come close. Ben dived down and transformed into Wildmutt. He landed on a krankerlouts, crushing it. He then rammed, head first, into a Blok, sending it flying off the mountain. Two krankerlouts hit Ben in his side, making him fall on his side, and lose fifteen life points.

"Agh!" He said when he landed. Ulrich saw Ben in trouble and raced over to him. He got in between him and the monsters and blocked the attacks with his sword. Ben slowly got up before touching his symbol and turning into Upgrade. "Alright twerps, prepare to get deleted." Ben charged his eye with green energy. "Ulrich, duck!"

Ulrich turned around and saw what Ben was gonna do. He smirked and used his Supersprint to run circles around the monsters, confusing them, then ran out for the way. Ben fired his laser, hitting both of the confused monsters. Finally, there were two Bloks left in front of the bubble.

Odd and Aelita were now at the top of the mountain, trying to shoot the two Bloks. The Bloks swerved around the attacks, before spinning. When they both stopped, the right block fired an ice beam at Odd and Aelita, while the left one fired a stream of fire at the last two. Aelita and Odd dived out of the way, both going opposite sides.

The ice beam hit the ground, leaving behind ice spikes. Ulrich dived out of the way of the fire stream, while Ben jumped backwards, accidently falling off of the mountain.

"Ben!" Ulrich screamed. It only took Ben a few seconds to come back up as Stinkfly.

"Hahaha! Up here!" Both Bloks looked at Ben, and started firing. Ben swerved around, dodging the attacks, while laughing some more. "C'mon, that can't be the best you can do!" Ben taunted, and he did a barrel role, than a backflip. The monsters kept firing, until they suddenly felt something pierce their weak point back weak points.

Look down, and you can see Ulrich, stabbing one monster, while a laser arrow sized hole was the other monster. Before they could do anything, the monsters blew up. Ben smirked, and landed on the floor before he turned back to normal. Everyone gathered in front of the bubble.

"Alright, what exactly is this thing?" Odd asked before getting a better look. When he did, he screamed and jumped back, accidently landing on his butt. Ben raised an eyebrow.

"What is it?" He asked, going closer to the bubble.

"I-it's…" Ben looked closer inside of the bubble before gasping.

"It's… Yumi." Ulrich and Aelita gasped. They all looked inside of the bubble and saw Yumi floating inside the bubble, unconscious.

"How is it possible?" Aelita asked.

"Yeah, we just saw her in the lab. Unless…" Ulrich stopped.

"Unless, the Yumi back on Earth isn't actually Yumi, but a clone!" Ben figured out. Odd got up.

"So, when she was acting all weird, she wasn't doing it because she needed to get to Lyoko, she was doing it because she wasn't herself. She was XANA!" Ben suddenly remembered what happened in the bedroom, and shivered.

"Agh, then that means…" He was so disgusted, he couldn't finish.

"Alright, we'll worry about the other Yumi later. Right now, we need to get the real one out." Ulrich said, as he readied his sword.

"Ulrich, wait…" Aelita warned, but Ulrich didn't listen, and instead hit the bubble as hard as he could. Instead of popping, the sword bounced harmlessly off of bubble, and Ulrich was sent backwards. The samurai hit the floor hard, as a gong noise suddenly came out of the bubble. Everyone covered their ears, as the gong continued.

"What is that?!" Odd screamed over the bubble.

"It's coming from the bubble!" Aelita said.

"But why?!" Ben asked. The gong noise faded away, and then there was silence. The Lyoko warriors sighed, as dark clouds suddenly filled the skies. Ben got Aelita's attention and pointed up.

"Uh, does it usually get cloudy in this sector?" Ben asked. Aelita looked up, worried.

"No. Only the mountain sector should have clouds." Suddenly there was a loud and terrible screech. The Lyoko warriors were about to cover their ears again, but this one was short, and ended before they could. "That's the screech I heard before Yumi disappeared." Aelita said.

"Then, whatever made that noise did this to Yumi." Ulrich said with a growl.

"And it's probably not happy about us trying to save her." Odd added. There was a sudden flapping noise that was getting louder and louder. Something was coming, so the warriors got into a fighting position. Ben turned into Wildmutt and got ready to pounce at whatever was coming at them, but none of them were ready for what happened next.

Suddenly a giant raven came out of the clouds, and screeched again. The giant raven also had a strange white mask with red marks on it. The raven wasted no time trying to kill the heroes. It stopped and flapped its wings hard, shooting sharp deadly feathers at everyone.

"Dodge!" Odd yelled, before everyone dove out of the way of the feathers. They continued to dodge the feathers, until the raven had enough. It suddenly dove at the warriors. Everyone widened their eyes. Aelita was the first to recover, and went on her knees.

"Everyone hang on!" Aelita closed her eyes, and a wall was created right in front of the heroes. The raven saw this, and pulled up. Unfortunately for the heroes, it couldn't get up in time, and hit the wall a little, damaging itself and destroying the wall. The raven started to circle the heroes.

After one circle, the raven fired another round of death feathers, this time with more feathers. Ben thought quickly and turned into Upgrade. He then stretched himself out fully and enveloped his friends. He turned into a giant ball and bounced himself and the others off of the mountain.

The feathers hit a second after. Ben shot straight down, did a few bounces, and flattened himself so everyone could get out. Ben reformed back into his humanoid form.

"Why'd you get us off the mountain? We need to free Yumi." Ulrich asked.

"Well if I didn't, we'd all be kid-kebabs right now. You're welcome."

"Don't worry Ulrich, we can still save Yumi." Aelita said, putting a hand on Ulrich's shoulder. "I think it would be a good idea if you and Ben went after the monster, while Odd takes me back to the top where I can try and find a way to free Yumi."

"Yeah, I can snipe from a distance." Odd said as he reloaded his laser arrows. Ben nodded. Ulrich thought about it and nodded.

"That's the best plan we got, let's do it." He said. Ben turned into Stinkfly and grabbed Ulrich, who wasn't too happy about that.

"Agh, is that smell you?" Ben shrugged.

"I never said this ride was gonna be comfy. Hang on!" Ben took off towards the raven. Odd bowed.

"Ready to go princess?" Aelita smiled and nodded. They ran for the path that led back to the top. Back with Ulrich and Ben, the two caught up with the raven.

"Alright we're here. You have a plan?"

"Uhhhh…" If Ulrich could, he'd face palm.

"We probably should have thought of that on the way here." The raven screeched and tried to knock the two out of the sky with its wings. Ben quickly flew out of the way to avoid getting hit. Ben then faced the raven and fired stink globs. The globs hit, but it didn't look like it was doing anything. The raven turned to face the two heroes and screeched.

It then launched itself at the two. Ben quickly threw Ulrich up in the air, and dived down, dodging the creature. Ulrich fixed himself to face the raven, and dived down towards it. He took out his sword, and when he was close enough, slashed its back a couple times on the way down. The monster screeched it pain. Ben quickly caught Ulrich and flew back towards the monster.

"I can't find a weak point, but it definitely felt pain when I hit it with my sword." Ulrich informed. Ben thought about it, before coming up with an idea.

"Think you can do it again, but with a little more pain?" Ulrich smirked.

"I'm listening."

Aelita and Odd reached the top. Odd went over to the edge, and readied his laser arrows. Aelita ran over to the bubble and examined it. She looked into it and saw Yumi still floating there.

"I'll get you out Yumi, I promise." She put her hand on the bubble and closed her eyes. "Just let me see, what's going on in there."

Ulrich and Ben were now above the monster. They both looked at each other and nodded. Ben dived for the monster, and threw Ulrich towards it. He then transformed into Wildmutt, and barred his claws. Ulrich took out his sword again, and they both started to circle the raven as they went down, slashing and slicing any piece of the monster that they could.

The monster screeched in pain, and suddenly flapped its wing's aggressively. The wings created harsh winds that pushed both heroes away from the monsters. They were both heading for the ground. Ben turned into Upgrade and stretched out his arm to grab Ulrich. He brought the samurai to him and enveloped him in another ball.

Ben landed with a bounce, before letting Ulrich go, and reforming. He transformed back into Ben and looked at the raven with Ulrich.

If this was in the real world, Aelita would be sweating. The Lyoko warrior was desperately trying to find a weak point in this prison's programing, but everything was solid, but despite this, Aelita continued to search for a way to break through. The boys were counting on her, Yumi was counting on her.

She started squeezing her closed eyes, trying to concentrate harder. Searching, searching, search…

'Wait?!' Aelita suddenly opened her eyes. "I got it!" odd turned from the battle and widened his eyes.

"What, really?" Aelita nodded. "It's actually simple if you think about. You see this prison was made for the sole purpose of trapping and imprisoning Yumi. Everyone else, it couldn't care less about, but if it saw a Yumi, it'd try to trap her, without a second thought." Odd scratched his head.

"Alright, how does that help us?" Aelita got on her knees.

"Well, what if the bubble saw another Yumi. One with a little, surprise attached to her?" Aelita closed her eyes and started singing. Odd was confused, until he saw something next to her. Pixels were starting to come together to form the bottom part of what looked like feet. Odd widened his eyes.

"She couldn't be…"

The raven screeched at Ulrich and Ben again, and was about to pounce, when it suddenly turned around to face the mountain.

"What's it doing?" Ben asked. Raven suddenly turned around and flew back towards the mountain.

"It's going back to Aelita and Odd!" Ulrich said. Ulrich ran after the creature, using Supersprint. Ben turned into Stinkfly and followed, just a little behind.

"Why's it suddenly going after them?" Ben asked.

"I don't know, but I'm not waiting to find out." Ulrich slowed down, and Ben caught him and flew up.

Odd noticed the raven, and backed up a little.

"Uh, Aelita. I think our friend found out about your plan. Doesn't look like he agrees with it." Aelita continued to sing, her Yumi clone now up to her thighs. Odd readied his laser arrows, and when the monster got close, he sent a rapid fire of laser arrows. The raven went to the left of the mountain, completely avoiding the rapid fire. It then did a huge back flip.

The raven's loop had it end up going straight down towards Odd, Yumi, and Aelita. Odd kept shooting it, as it came closer and closer, but it just ricocheted off of its mask. Odd stopped, and just stared at in the incoming monster. That's when Ulrich launched at it, and stabbed it in the chest, pushed it off course thanks to his Supersprint.

The creature spiraled out of control, as Ulrich hung on by his sword.

Meanwhile, Ben landed on the mountain, and transformed back.

"What's Aelita doing?"

"She has a plan." Odd answered, before turning towards Aelita and the Yumi clone who only had everything except its head.

"We need to keep her safe while she's working." Odd said. Ben nodded.

"Yeah, we're trying to kill this thing, but we can't find a XANA symbol." Odd looked at the angry, out of control bird.

"Well, maybe try the old fashion way." Ben raised an eyebrow.

"And that's?" Odd made a comical decapitation gesture. Ben thought about it, before finally getting it.

"Ohh. You think that'll work?" Odd shrugged.

"Can't beat the classics." Ben transformed into Stinkfly and launched back in the fight.

Ulrich, who was losing his grip, was looking for an idea. Suddenly, the bird started spinning around while flying. Ben tried to get close, but if he got too close, he'd no doubt get shredded into little digital pieces. So he decided to yell.

"Ulrich! Let go!" Ulrich barely heard what he said, and thought he misheard.

"Let go?!" He asked.

"Yeah! Trust me!" Ulrich really didn't want to, but he gave in and let go. He got out of the mini raven tornado, and started falling, heading for the ground. Ben launched towards Ulrich, and picked him up before he could hit the ground.

"Alright, why did you want me to let go?"

"Cause I have a plan. We can't find the symbol, so we're just gonna chop its head off. A full proof Odd plan. I'll go Upgrade and turn my hands into axes. I'll cut the raven's neck. My axes aren't sharp enough to do a clean slice, and neither is your sword, but if I make a good enough gash, you should be able to finish him off with your weapon, Sumo Slammers issue twenty five style." Ulrich looked confused.

"Ok, I guess. First thing's first, getting my sword back." Ben launched Ulrich towards the raven, who stopped spinning. Ulrich got to its stomach, and held on to its fur. Ben circled around until it got above its face. He then turned into Upgrade and turned his hands into giant hammers.

He swung once, hitting the bird in the face, than again in the same spot, forcing the bird to tilt back. Ulrich had a chance to get his sword, now that he could stand on the bird, which was on its back, still in the air. Ulrich supersprinted towards the sword. He stumbled a little, as the bird started to fix itself.

Ulrich increased his speed, pushing himself so he could get to his imbedded sword. Finally, he grabbed his sword. By now, the raven was flapping its wings, while it stayed in one place. Ulrich got a good grip on his handle, and launched off the raven's chest with a super jump. The raven felt the sword leave his chest, and screeched. Ulrich was immediately caught by Ben as Stinkfly.

"Alright, let's get this plan started."

Aelita finally completed the Yumi clone. She stood up, a little weak at first, but Odd caught her.

"You think it'll work?" Odd asked. Aelita looked at the perfect Yumi clone, which was just standing there with a blank expression.

"It has to." The bubble started rumbling and blinking. It started to make its way to the clone Yumi. It examined the clone for a few seconds before consuming. The bubble stood still, and no one made a sound, the only thing that could be heard was the battle in the background. Suddenly the bubble went red.

It started humming for a few seconds, before exploding. Yumi landed softly on her feet, before falling to her knees.

"Yumi!" Aelita and Odd said in unison. The kneeled down next to her. Odd held her up slightly, while she started to wake up. Yumi held her head with her hand, as she tried to think.

"W-what happened?"

"You were a prisoner of XANA Yumi. We were able to free you, but the thing that captured you is still at large." Aelita answered. Yumi turned to the raven fighting Ulrich and Ben.

"That's the thing that got me?" Odd nodded. Yumi got up, with the help of Odd. She glared at the bird. "I guess, I should go ahead and thank it."

Ben, after dropping Ulrich, launched himself above the raven. The raven was flying all over the area, but Ben was just barely able to keep up. The Lyoko warrior pushed himself to keep up with the bird, as he got closer and closer to its neck. Finally, he was in the right position .He quickly turned into Upgrade, and launched down, towards the monster.

Ben turned his hands into battle axes, and started spinning, as he got closer and closer towards the neck. Ben spun like a top, and hit the bird's neck like a chainsaw. The raven let out a painful screech, as Ben dug through its neck. Ben kept going, until he lost his momentum and slipped off.

The raven, in deep pain thanks to the deep gash in its neck, screeched loudly and angrily at Ben, who turned into Stinkfly and flew off, back to Ulrich, the raven, angry and hot on his tail. Ben looked down and saw Ulrich waving his hands. Ben went faster and grabbed Ulrich by his hands and flew up high.

"Your turn dude." Ben did a backflip and dropped Ulrich, who took out his sword, and positioned himself. He was getting close to the raven, when the bird suddenly turned on its back and flapped its wings aggressively, sending harsh winds, that pushed Ulrich back up, and caused Ben to go out of control.

Ben, headed for the ground. He tried to fix himself midair, but the most he could do was soften his decent. Ulrich on the other hand, was starting to fall fast, since the bird was done flapping its wings. Ulrich saw the ground coming closer and closer. He gripped his sword and closed his eyes. He suddenly felt like he landed on something, but he didn't devirtualize.

Ulrich opened his eyes and saw that he was on an ice platform, controlled by,

"Yumi!" Ulrich said, as he got up. "A-are you ok?" Yumi looked back at him and smiled.

"Other than the stiff neck, fine." Using her telekinesis, Yumi launched the platform above the bird. Ulrich looked down. "Look Yumi, if I knew sooner, I'd have saved…" Yumi looked back again. "Ulrich, don't beat yourself up. At the end of the day, you saved me, and I'm grateful for that."

Ulrich looked shock for a few seconds before smiling.

"Right." He looked down at the bird that was flying all over the place. "So, how are we supposed to get me down there?" Yumi frowned at the monster.

"I don't know. The things completely out of control now. There's no way of stopping it." She looked around. "Where's Ben?"

"He crash landed. The wind was messing with his…wings. Wait." Yumi raised an eyebrow at him.

"What?" Ulrich smirked.

"I think I found a way to get that bird to stop moving so much."

Odd and Aelita just got to the bottom of the mountain, and looked up to see the bird, flying around like crazy.

"What's wrong with the bird?" Odd asked.

"Whatever those two did really put it on edge. It's completely out of control. I hope they can finish that thing off." Aelita said worriedly. Odd smiled at her.

"I'm sure they can handle that overgrown cookoo. We need to get you to the tower, quick. Jeremy's still by himself with that clone."

"Raroo!" The two turned and saw Wildmutt heading right for them. When he got close enough, Ben turned to the side, and used his claws to skid. He stopped and transformed back into his normal self. "I said, 'he's right.' Ulrich and Yumi can finish things off here. Odd and I can take you to the tower. Can you sense where it is?" Aelita closed her eyes and felt the pulsation. She opened them and nodded.

"I'll lead the way. Let's hurry!" With that, all three headed for the activated tower.

Jeremy got up slowly and groggily. He turned to XANA who was trying to take out the last couple of wires on the left scanner. Jeremy looked at the other two and saw that all of their wires were disconnected.

'If she disconnects that scanner, the others won't have anywhere to go if they get devirtualized. They'll cease to exist.' Jeremy glared at XANA before charging at her. He shoved her away, surprising her, and knocking her on the floor. XANA got on her knees, and turned around, with a look of complete anger.

Her eyes glowed red with her symbol.

"Out of the way." She ordered. Jeremy gulped, but stayed his ground.

"I-I won't let you." XANA growled before getting up. She fired a bolt of electricity, and Jeremy dived out of the way. XANA gave an ugly grin before extending her hand and firing another bolt of electricity.

Both the raven and the two Lyoko warriors were high in the sky. Yumi and Ulrich were circling the raven from up top. The raven gave a huge screech. Yumi and Ulrich looked at each other and nodded. Yumi jumped off the platform and threw both fans. The fans sliced the bird's left wings, injuring it.

The raven lost its balance a little. Yumi took control of the ice platform, Ulrich was still on, and launched it at the same wing. Ulrich, rode with the platform, until it was close to the wing. He back flipped off of it and the platform crashed into the already injured wing.

The raven tilted far to the left and was heading for the ground. Ulrich put his arms to his side and launched towards the monster's neck. Before landing on the raven's neck, Ulrich pulled out his sword. When he landed, he stuck his sword in the same gash Ben made. He then put his weapon behind him and supersprinted around the neck, while dragging the sword through the neck behind him.

When he finally went around the whole neck, he crouched down. With all of his strength, he super jumped off of the neck, pushing the head off of the rest of the body in the process. The head, and the rest of the body crashed into the ground. Ulrich landed on his feet, stumbling a little backwards before catching himself.

Yumi, who was on an ice platform, landed on the ground and jumped off it. She walked next to him, and they both watched the monster disintegrate into nothing. They both smiled at each other, then looked back at the disintegrating.

Ben, Aelita and Odd were running towards a tower that was surrounded by a mountain. They went through a hole in the side of the mountain, and ran for the tower. Four Bloks, two on each side was surprised to see them. They quickly got over their shock and charged their attacks.

Ben and Odd looked at each other and nodded. They ran ahead of Aelita and charged at the monsters. The monsters fired at both heroes. Odd got on all fours and dodged the lasers. Ben transformed into Wildmutt and did the same. When he was close enough, he transformed into Upgrade and fused with one of the Bloks.

He spun his head, and shot an ice beam at the block next to him. He ejected out of the Blok and formed a mace hand. He slammed his mace into the frozen Blok, destroying it. He then created a blade hand and thrusted it into the other Bloks weak point. Odd back flipped, dodging the attack. He then did an over the top front flip, and fired a laser arrow into a weak point, before landing.

The last Blok spun its head and fired a stream of fire. Odd widened his eyes before diving out of the way.

"Wow, where'd the fire come from?!" Odd yelped before, dodging another one. The monster spun again, and fired an ice beam. Odd front flipped and landed on the head. The Blok stopped, and Odd leaned over the Blok, and put his face in front of the Blok's weak point. They Lyoko waved at the weak point before punching his fist through the it.

He then jumped off of it, before it exploded. Aelita ran passed the two and ran into the tower. She floated upwards, to the second level and stuck out her hand. A monitor appeared, and scanned her hand.

Jeremy was picked up by the collar and slammed into the wall. XANA smiled sadistically, before slamming him into the wall again, and again.

XANA slammed Jeremy into the wall again, before suddenly dropping him. Jeremy painfully looked up and saw the clone look at her fading hands with worry. XANA looked at Jeremy, before fading to pixel dust. Jeremy sighed, and whispered.

"Return to the past, now." A white bubble enveloped the room, returning everything back to normal.

"What?! You're actually happy that happened?!" Everyone in Jeremy and Ben's room said in unison, minus Jeremy. Jeremy unplugged his ears.

"Well, what happened to Yumi was terrible, and I'm of course glad she's ok, but this whole attack actually helped me."

"Helped you with what?" Odd asked, confused. Jeremy smirked.

"Well for one thing, I fixed my scanners, now I can find those raven monsters like any other monster."

"By the way, just want everyone to know that I was right about the stealth monster." Ben pointed out. Jeremy ignored him, and continued.

"Also, XANA was able to bring a physical being from the virtual world, into our world. This proves that materialization of a virtual being is possible."

"So XANA sort of helped us with our materialization program. It almost makes this whole thing worth it." Yumi said with a smile. Everyone laughed a little at that. Ben put both hands behind his back and looked at Jeremy.

"So, I guess its back to work, huh Jeremy?"

"Yup, I'm getting started immediately." He turned around and started typing. Odd smirked at Ben.

"So Ben, you're not gonna mention that fun time you had with the Yumi clone. Ben blushed. Ulrich frowned.

"Shut up Odd."

"Thanks Ulrich." Ben said. Yumi looked at all of them.

"Are you guys talking about what happened in the room with that clone?" Ben widened his eyes.

"H-how do you know that?!" She shrugged.

"Jeremy told me."

"Einstein!" Jeremy turned around.

"What? I thought she should know." Ben's whole face turned red again.

"Ugh." He laid on Jeremy's bed with a sigh. "Look, I was just put off guard, plus I bet XANA did some kind of, something to me to make me act like that."

"So you're saying you'd be cool if that happened again?" Yumi asked with a smirk.

"As a cucumber." He said surely. Yumi got up and went over to Ben. She gave him a kiss on the cheek, causing him to widen his eyes and blush.

"Wai- wha, why? Um. I…" Yumi smiled.

"As a cucumber." She repeated before leaving the room. Ben sat up and looked at the other boys, who were just as shocked.

"Wh-what just happened?" They all looked at each other, everyone completely confused.

And that… was an episode. I don't know what's going on. This is the second chapter I wrote in a row that ended up being a looonngg chapter.

I swear, this was supposed to come out a long time ago, but when I was so close to finishing, (a month ago) I lost…EVERYTHING! So I had to do EVERYTHING all over again, but I got it done, so I guess it all worked out… I guess.

By the way, I decided that, instead of putting all my answers to your reviews in the end of the chapter, I'll PM you with m response instead. I'm excited for the next episode, because I have something kind of big planned for young Ben, but I won't be doing another chapter after this, because I had to do this long chapter twice, so I'll working on my other stories before coming back to this, (like Avatar's Phantom) so go check all those other ones out, and until next time
