Hello everyone! Sorry for taking so long with this chapter. Thank you for all of your reviews and I am happy you are liking this story. In many reviews, there are a lot of mentions about all my mistakes in my stories I have found a beta reader but out of all my stories they only know of the anime Fairy tail so I am looking for a beta reader for this story as well for my ninja turtle stories plus my later spiderman. If you are interested please PM me; since Grammarly can't catch all my mistakes and I want everyone to enjoy my stories.

Also… I was asked if other characters from the heroes of Olympus will be in this story the answer is yes if there is someone pacific you would like to see in this story write a review. If you have any ideas on Jason's backstory like some events he has been a part of or whatever let me know.

I was also asked why I changed their ages I just wanted Percy to start a little younger and Jason a little older that's it but where they are now is how old they are supposed to be at the end of BoO. Wanda is not in this story because technically she is a mutant and apart of the x-men and I wasn't sure how I could write in this story that wouldn't ruin the misunderstanding part … well I hope you all enjoy this long chapter.

The next morning Steve was in the Kitchen with Sam and Bucky they were getting ready for their daily run.

"Mr. Rogers… Mr. Grace is wondering if anyone is up so he could leave his room. Should I release him into your care?" the robotic British voice asked

"I am surprised that he's up this early is Percy up too?" Steve asked

"affirmative, he is taking a shower," Jarvis replied

"well if Jason wants to run with us then he is welcome to come to the kitchen," Sam stated there was a brief moment of silence then Jarvis's voice replied that Jason was on his way

"I guess we are running inside today?" Bucky asked slightly disappointed in the change of plans

"I think we can still go outside to run in the outdoor track field," Steve suggested then Jason appeared in the kitchen still wearing the Gray clothes he was given and the white shoes. the sliver choker still around his neck (since he could take it off anyway).

"I heard you guys are going for a run?" Jason asked giving a small smile that Steve and Sam returned.

They walked outside a little tense just waiting to see if Jason would try to run or try to fight them Jason noticed this and held up his hands in surrender

"I did promise not to try anything" he spoke calmly he didn't promise on the Styx but he wasn't going to leave Percy who was still locked in the room and he didn't want to go back on his word with no real reason to. He still didn't trust these people but he could understand their wariness towards him and Percy. His words did seem to make them relax a little as they continued to walk until they got to a large fenced in track filed.

"you don't have any type of super speed do you?" Sam asked Jason just shook his head he was faster than normal human since he had faster reflexes but not superhuman speed like some of the Hermes kids had.

Sam seemed to smile at this "finally! so you can stay back with me while the two super soldiers can lap us several times." In the last part, he gave Steve and Bucky a slight glare where Steve just chuckled.

"Bucky and I are going to do about five or six laps" Steve stated as they all stretched a little to loosen up their legs

"and we are going to do about three," Sam stated Jason frowned a little at that. he wasn't super-fast but he did have Superhuman agility, stamina, and durability as all Demigods had he could easily do five laps as well but he didn't voice this of course; he just nodded as they all started their run. He was a little surprised how fast Bucky and Steve were going and how they didn't seem to burn out at the constant speed. He stayed a little in front of Sam as they ran and true to Sam's word the other two soldiers lapped them a couple of times. When the run was over Jason wasn't breathing hard which the three adults noticed.

"did you have a good run, Jason?" Steve asked tossing him a water bottle that the teen easily caught Jason shrugged taking a sip of the water.

"I have noticed you don't talk as much as Percy," Sam spoke sitting on the bench by the track.

"sorry" he stated a slight frown on his face

"no there is nothing wrong with that I mean just look at Bucky," Sam stated Bucky shooting him a glare. As if to say 'what's that supposed to mean'

"I understand that you probably don't trust us yet but we have no intention of hurting you or Percy" Steve spoke noticing now Jason always seems to be on guard.

"I understand SHIELDs and the Avengers reasons in detaining us, but you are right in your assumption that I don't trust any of you, and despite what you believe Percy and I are the good guys," Jason spoke his voice flat devoid of emotion. The three adults share a look at one another feeling the tension rising. They believed Percy and Jason weren't bad people or at least that was the feeling they were getting from the teens. However, the organization that Percy and Jason belong too was another story…

"let's head inside and get some breakfast," Steve suggested after several seconds. the four of them nodded and walked back to the compound in uncomfortable silence.

Inside they saw Clint was sitting at the bar surrounding the kitchen and much to their surprise Percy was in the kitchen cooking.

"Clint, you're letting the kid cook?" Bucky asked Percy frowned at Bucky's accusing tone

"I found out that he liked to cook yesterday during the tour and since he was up I thought I would like to see how good the kid is." He explained flipping thought a magazine not even looking at the people that just walked in.

"It was your turn to cook wasn't it…" Bucky asked knowing Clin tried to get out of cooking anyway he could. Before he could get a response Jason chuckled all four adults turning confused at Jason's outburst

"what was that about?" Sam asked at a still Jason's smiling face he looked at Percy who was smiling back the tension in the teen shoulders from earlier was gone.

"you'll see." He spoke chuckling again. The adults turned to Percy seeing if they could get an explanation out of him but he was just smiling and was too focused on the food.

"what they're not going to be poisoned or anything are they?" Clint asked now a little worried, wondering if it was a mistake to let the kid cook

"no, they're not but they might be the best waffles you have ever had though," Percy stated which caused Jason to laughed again.

"ok to two are kind of freaking me out," Sam stated wounding why they were laughing like that about some waffles.

"join the club," Clint spoke watching Percy closely that was when Bruce came in to get his morning tea seeing the group of people confused and worried faces or in Percy and Jason's case a smile he shook his head deciding he didn't want to know before walking back out of the kitchen.

Later

All of the Avengers were sitting around the table.

"so, Percy is the one that made Breakfast?" Tony asked for the third time as he was still struggling to wake up since he usually didn't wake up until much later in the day so having all Avengers up this early in the morning was some kind of miracle either though it was now almost 10:00.

"yep, he made waffles," Sam spoke just then Percy came from the kitchen with a huge plate of… blue waffles. Jason and Percy started laughed at the confused look on everyone's faces

"Why are they blue?" Scott finally asked as the two teens calmed down and everyone mostly got over the shock that the waffles were blue

"oh, good you see it too I was worried it was just me." Tony breathed a sigh of relief that he wasn't going crazy… well at least not yet.

"it is kind of a running joke." Percy stated, "and trust me they taste a lot better than they probably look." Jason filled his plate and Peter grabbed two of them all the adults watching the youngest teen pour syrup on them cutting off a bit they stared as he took a bite his eyes widening

"man, these are good I never thought I would have blue waffles," Peter stated happily grabbing a few more to put on his plate

"I can't believe you Avengers having a teen try something new because you guys are too scared to." Percy smiled that seemed to snap the Avenges out of whatever they were thinking and everyone tried some Blue waffles except for Black widow and much to their surprise Peter was right they were pretty good.

"Percy you said it was a running joke what did you mean by that?" Steve asked after his fifth waffle

"When I was younger I asked if I could have blue food since blue is my favorite color my first stepdad smelly Gabe told my mom that there was no such thing as blue food or drink. From that point on, she went out of her way to make blue foods to prove him wrong." Percy explained his eyes dimming slighting at the thought of his family.

"well, I would have never thought of blue food before either," Rhodey stated noticing Percy's mood drop a little

"Your stepfather Gabe Ugliano what happened to him from your file he disappeared some years ago and is presumed dead," Natasha asked having already finished her breakfast Percy frowned and looking down at his plate

"That isn't any of your business," Percy spoke flatly that cause the adults to frown wounding if Percy killed him.

before they could ask the dreaded question Jason spoke up. "what is the plan for today?" Percy shot him a grateful look glad he didn't have to talk about smelly Gabe

"well, we would like to see what you two can do both in fighting and with your powers," Steve stated watching the teens frown

"I thought our deal was that we weren't going to be lab rats or weapons for you guys," Percy spoke his eyes narrowing

"and you two did agree to train with us so we need to know where your skill level is so we can help you as well knowing each other's fighting style will help in team training," Clint stated that didn't seem to brighten the kid's mood

"Trust me it is not as bad as it sounds," Peter whispered to them of course the whole table still heard.

"I don't think you know the concept of a whisper," Percy started a small smile forming on his lips Peter just shrugged but also smiled

"When are we getting the things, we asked for?" Jason asked grimacing slightly on how demanding that sounded

"They will be here later today and Percy I have arranged for your family to be stopping by tomorrow afternoon," Tony spoke some of the Avengers forgot that they had agreed to let Percy see his family.

"they're coming here?" Percy asked choking a little on his blue milk

"yep, we thought it would be easier that way." Tony shrugged not noticing Percy's discomfort

"Is there something wrong with that?" Black widow asked her eyes narrowing trying to poke holes in Percy's defenses

"no, I just thought I would be going to see them I don't what to burden them by having them come here," Percy started trying to cover up his earlier shock and discomfort.

"they agreed to it when I talked to them yesterday," Tony spoke taking a sip from his coffee not noticing the shocked look on Percy's face

"and what exactly did you tell them?" Percy asked now the adults were looking a little confused as Percy seemed to panic

"do your parents not know you have powers?" Peter asked thinking that was the reason since he hasn't even told his aunt May his secret. He would be pretty freaked out too if that was the case.

"my mom knows I have powers she has never seen them though I try to keep her out of this as much as possible," Percy stated calming down a little

"and what exactly are you trying to keep her out of?" Bruce asked Percy flinched his hand resting on his tattoo Jason seemed to grimace too. The avengers frowned wounding if they already pushed too hard in getting information seeing the walls going up and both teens face going blank again.

"it doesn't matter," Percy spoke is a soft slightly tired voice the Avengers frowned at the lack of an answer but seeing both Jason's and Percy's eyes darken and a sad warry look form on their faces. Both seemed to age 10 years just sitting there, looking so much older than they should have all of them deciding that they didn't like that look on two teen faces. Faces that were just smiling and laughing a minute ago.

"Why don't you three get dressed for some training," Rhodey suggested after a few minutes of awkward silence.

"We don't have any other clothes besides gray pants and gray shirts." Jason pointed out Rhodey wanted to curse himself forgetting that fact

"then Peter can you take them to the Gym we will clean up and follow you down shortly" Steve stated Rhodey gave Cap a thankful look.

"come on guys," Peter stated standing up taking his plate to the kitchen followed by Percy and Jason as they also dropped off their plates in the kitchen

"well, that was intense." Scott voiced trying to break the tense silence the teens left. A couple of the Avengers just groaned.

"I will meet you guys down there," Nat stated as she walked off.

With peter

"Hey, Percy are you ok?" Peter asked he didn't like the sad far way look in those sea-green eyes

"yeah I'm fine" Percy spoke putting a smile on his face the mask falling into place Peter frowned he knew he was hiding the earlier sadness behind a smile he knew that trick well. He also knew that he shouldn't push if Percy wanted to talk about it he would in his own time.

Jason just frowned at Percy giving him a worried look. he didn't know Gabe Ugliano; Percy never mentioned him before he didn't even know Percy had another stepfather before Paul but he saw a glimpse of anger and disgust when Widow mentioned the name. then the pain and sadness when his family was mentioned he knew that Percy loved his family and he tried his best to keep them from worrying about all the danger he gets into. Sure he didn't know Percy's mom or stepdad all that well either since he only met them once when they called saying Percy was in trouble but he knew they were both strong people that understood the life of a demigod was dangerous but he could also see the deep worry in their eyes and understood why Percy wanted to keep them out of it as much as possible.

The rest of the way to the gym was in silence Peter disappeared for a minute to change in his workout clothes leaving Jason and Percy in the empty Gym alone or mostly alone they could sense another presence in the room and still knew they were being watched

"You ok?" Jason asked in a hushed whisper

"Yeah, I was just caught a little off guard" Percy stated mutely Jason was a little surprised Percy doesn't get 'caught off guard' often.

Peter came back wearing a skin-tight blue bodysuit complete with shoes and gloves with the Avengers A on it

"What is that?" Percy asked his eyebrows raised and trying not to laugh

"my work out suit is there a problem with it?" Peter asked looking down seeing if he could find anything wrong Percy let out a chuckle

"please tell me we are not going to have to wear that when we are working out?" Percy laughed Peter continued to look confused

"why is it skin tight like that?" Jason asked ignoring Percy's laughter

"umm it is similar to my … super suit and it is skin tight to help me move better," Peter explained stared at the floor embarrassed.

"ok." Percy stated clapping Peter on the shoulder making the younger teen jump a little not noticing Percy had moved "if it helps you fight sorry I laughed." Percy gave him a smile Peter smiled back glad that Percy didn't think he was a dork or something. That was when the Avengers decided to walk in all of them wearing their workout clothes only Natasha was in her catsuit where everyone else was in sweats.

"Alright so let's start with dummy practice" Steve spoke taking control as the instructor of this little training exercise.

"dummy practice?" Both Jason and Percy asked

Yes, we are going to test your hand to hand combat and weapon skills." Steve spoke Tony taped on a control panel and a wall opened to reveal weapons ranging from Melee weapons; swords, spears even a trident to long-range weapons a bow and guns, even some high-tech modern weapons that either Percy or Jason recognized.

"Are we even allowed to see this?" Jason asked after a minute of staring at the weapons he turned to face the Avengers noticing all of them staring at Percy and him. It annoyed him that they all seemed a little tense like they were expecting Percy and him to charge for the weapons and start a fight either though they both stated numerous times that they would not try anything.

"you are in training but I will remind you that if you try to escape or hurt anyone of the team the sedative will be activated," Steve warned the both reached for the collars, and for peter that was the first time he noticed them. Jason realized this wasn't just about seeing if what they can do but also a test to see if they would hold up to their end of the deal and prove that they weren't a threat when presented with all the temptation.

"do you to understand?" the black widow asked they both nodded Peter watched as Percy's and Jason's faces went blank not reviling anything as their fingers fell away from the croakers he couldn't believe he hadn't noticed them before. He felt bad and a little guilty at this whole thing he didn't know what they have been thought and he hated how the avengers we just treating them like criminals. Peter's spider-sense hadn't gone off so he didn't think Percy or Jason were a threat or bad people, sure they were intimidating but and from the story, the Avenger told him they could be dangerous but treating them like ticking timebombs didn't seem right.

"ok, Peter will go first to show you how it is done," Steve spoke his tone light and calm. Peter snapped out of his thoughts he gave a quick nod as he headed for the training room bypassing the weapons since he wasn't going to use his web-shooters. The avengers lead Percy and Jason to the viewing room past the main gym and into a smaller room that overlooked a blank room that only had peter in it.

"peter I am going to set you on level five for right now with four opponents is that ok?" Tony asked from the room everyone was gathered Peter gave a smiling thumbs up and walked further into the room. Tony hit the control panel and Peter gave another thumbs up as four seaming humans appeared around him. Percy and Jason stepped closer to the glass to get a better look their eyes widening a little when the 'people' appeared.

"are they holograms or something like that?" Percy asked

"no, they are robots if you are not careful they can leave a nasty bruise," Clint stated as everyone watched Peter swing around doing expect flips and fighting the robots. Everyone notice either Percy or Jason looked away from the fight they couldn't tell if they were just curious or they were studying peters fighting style looking for weaknesses. The fight lasted a couple of minutes before all the robots were defeated meaning webbed up or laying on the floor.

"The robots are programed that any blow they take that would incapacitate a person is registered so they stop when they are knocked out, killed or too injured to fight," Tony explained as Peter started another round of the same thing.

"so, they are programmed to feel pain?" Jason asked to clarify not taking his eyes off the fight.

"not pain necessarily they can't feel anything but it is to simulate a real fight right now Peter is fighting robots with the skills and strengths of a trained solider" Sam explained when Peter was done with another round he walked into the control room

"How did I do?" he asked smiling

"good but you still take too long doing some unnecessary flips." Steve relayed which made Peter frown a little.

"you also have good reflexes but you seem to rely too much on your reaction time instead of reading your opponent; it could help you finish the fight faster and you and lower the chances of you getting hurt or innocent getting caught in the crossfire," Percy stated everyone eyes widened a little and stared at Percy surprised that he was giving advice and that he managed to pick up on Peters fighting style only after seeing it twice.

"umm, thanks," Peter stated rubbing the back of his head.

"That was some good advice," Rhodey stated Percy just shrugged Jason elbowed him.

"ok umm, Clint you want to go next?" Steve asked

Clint nodded "watch and learn kids." he smiled as he left the room only to enter the training room a few moments later with a bow in hand and a quiver on his back. The room was empty and clean just like when Peter started as if nothing happened there at all.

"Clint I am setting you on level 8 with three opponents," Tony stated as he put in the commands Clint gave a thumbs up instead of just people showing up walls seemed to grow from the floor Clint imminently took cover by one of the walls an arrow nocked on his bow.

"so, each level is different?" Percy asked as he watched Clint shoot an arrow that electrocuted the robot and it fell to the ground

"each level is mostly based on difficulty but I can change the conditions of the level for example level five for Clint will be different then it was for Peter."

"so, you change the level based on someone skill level… but what about the unknown?" Jason asked Tony sighed

"this level for Clint can also change I can change the environment the number of enemies the skill level of the enemies the weapons or enhancements of the enemies and so on. The number level is just to show the level of difficulty" Tony explained both teens nodded now understanding.

When Clint was done with his two rounds he came back to the control room. A proud smile on his face… if he was expecting praise he didn't revive any.

"Jason do you want to go next?" Steve asked Percy and Jason had discussed if they should hide that they could fight but they quickly realized that with their natural battle reflexes faking the fight would be next to impossible.

"sure" he spoke Steve lead him to the training room where he walked to the wall full of weapons which can appear in the training room Steve made it back to the control room as the group watch Jason chose his weapon. Some thought he would go directly to the guns but he seemed to be studying the melee weapons he picked up a spear and thrust it a couple of times testing it deciding he didn't like it he put it back an grabbed a long sword swing it in his hand he determined it was good enough and stepped back from the wall and walked to the center of the room as the weapons sank back into the floor.

"ok, Jason we are going to start with Level one ok?" Tony spoke Jason but a thumbs-up as one person appeared from the floor and in one quick movement its head rolled away and it fell to the floor

"wait I didn't even see him move," Scott spoke seeing that the fight was over even before the robot could respond

Percy laughed "I think you need to bump him up a few levels." Percy stated Steve mutely nodded to Tony,

"Jason I am going to take you up to level four." He said Jason but a thumbs up as he put in the commands this time four humanoid robots appeared surrounding him again he attacked first this time the first robot raised a sword to block as on behind Jason tried to cut off his head Jason ducked and stabbed the first one in the chest before tuning standing to block the sword swing from the second robot the third one attacked trying to slash down at Jason, he sides stepped and the swing hit the second robot instead he quickly disarmed the third robot before slicing the head of the four and came back to stab the third robot though the chest ending the fight.

"that was a little brutal," Bruce spoke the whole fight lasted less than 2 minutes

"These dummies aren't that much different than the ones we have at camp," Percy spoke understanding their discomfort. When Peter first fought these dummies he subconsciously thought they were real people since they look so real so he still held back when he fights even now he still had trouble going all out on them unless they look like the robots they are, but Jason didn't even hesitate for going for the killing blow.

Tony told Jason he was taking him up to level five and Jason fought away with the same speed and practiced movements slashing the robots to pieces once again.

"do you want to keep going or are you done?" Steve asked Jason over the con Jason spoke and his voice came thought the speakers not even sounding tired

"I can keep going do you want me to change weapons?" he asked looking up to the control booth

"if you want." Was Tony's reply he was a little shocked that after those two fights Jason didn't seem tired. He raised the weapon wall and Jason walked over putting the sword back and picked up a Halberd and walked back to the center of the room. To start level six, this one he had five robots some with swords and others with the same weapon he was using. He quickly blocked a sword and twisted the staff to knock the weapon aside he twirled the weapon blocking the two robots also using Halberd effectively disarming them he tossed one of the Halberds like a javelin into the chest of one of the swordsmen. he barely had time to dodge a sword swing from the first robot as the two he disarmed, armed themselves again with the fallen weapons he sliced the arm off one robot before blocking another strike, swing to cut off the second robot's head.

"he doesn't seem as comfortable with the Halberd" black widow noticed

"true he doesn't use the Halberd often but he is just getting the feel of this weapon," Percy stated and just like that, a switch seems to have been turned on as Jason's movements seem to even out and he became faster with his strikes and soon all the robots lay in pieces on the floor. The weapon wall opened up and Jason but the Halberd back and soon joined them back in the control room he still didn't seem tried or was breathing hard at all which everyone noticed.

"dude how are you not tired after that?" Peter asked in surprised shock he also had stars in his eyes because he thought the fights were pretty badass.

"We train a lot longer and harder than this." Came Jason's simple reply

"How often do you train?" Bucky asked

"every day some times for 8 hours and we train all day switching from different weapons and fighting styles," Percy answered for Jason shrugging his shoulders like it wasn't a big deal but from the looks on the avengers faces it was a big deal for them.

"you train every day? Even we take a day to let our muscles relax." Steve spoke in surprise

"We either learn to fight or we die," Jason stated bluntly they didn't have the luxury to take many breaks with Monsters trying to kill them every time they left camp and with the war that ended recently being a demigod, there was always a fight you had to be ready for.

"and what about when you get injured if you don't give your body time to rest," Bruce asked

"We are never too injured to fight if we get hurt we put it off until the fighting is over or we get killed. But we don't stop fighting we train constantly so we are always prepared." Percy explained which just got the avengers frowns to deepen

"And when you're too injured to keep fighting? And aren't prepared for a fight?" Sam asked

"if you are unprepared you die," Percy spoke bluntly which is the sad truth an untrained demigod is as good as dead.

"is that what they teach you?" Rhodey asked nether Percy or Jason spoke for a full minute

"In our Camp, we are trained to deal with the worst possible situations and go on missions and just try to survive. I think you guys would be surprised at what we can do but we are not here to prove our fighting skills to you." Jason stated crossing his arms crossed his chest the tension it the room seemed to get colder. Sure, it was pretty much their lives to be constantly trying to fight for survival but they didn't want to talk about it.

"umm, why don't you go down Percy I believe it is your turn," Clint spoke breaking the silence Percy nodded and headed down to the room. The weapon wall was already up Percy walked straight the swords he tried a few testing its balance before he finally settled on one, but like so many, he'd tried before it didn't feel right in his hands the hilt was too heavy for his wrist. Percy walked into the center of the room the wall of weapons dropping back into the floor behind him.

"both of you seem to like swords." Black widow stated Jason just shrugged.

"Percy is a lot better than I am with swords." Jason stated, "but don't tell him I said that." He added more as an afterthought that caused some of them to crack a smile.

"Percy I am starting you on level four," Tony spoke Percy just nodded as four robots appeared without warring Percy sliced off one of the robot's heads to start the fight. the second robot swung the sword in a wide arch they expected Percy to just dodge as Jason did but Percy ducked and slid between the robot's legs so he was behind the robot he slashed cutting off both the robots legs and getting to his feet where he blocked the third robots attack effectively disarming it and slashing it across the chest he wasted no time spinning to cut the arm off the fourth robot that tried a sneak attack and to end the fight Percy stabbed it in the chest for extra measure. The whole fight took less than a minute which shocked the avengers.

"told you, Percy is probably the best sword fighter you will ever meet," Jason stated filling the shocked silence a smile on his face

Tony told Percy that he was jumping up to level six Percy nodded and much to his and Jason's surprise only one robot appeared with a sword. The robot attacked forcing Percy to block surprised at this one seemed more skilled and stronger. the surprised didn't last long as he pushed back and charged again the robot matching Percy's moves and trying to disarm him Percy ducked and swept the legs of the robot making it fall onto its back which Percy then stabbed the robot in the chest ending the fight. Percy ran thought one more level before coming back up to the control room and much like Jason he didn't seem tired.

"Well, let's move on to hand to hand combat" Steve spoke Peter's eyes were wide and everyone was a little surprised at the skill but they didn't say anything. "Tony you are paired up with Bruce, Rhodey you're with Sam, Scott you're with Peter Bucky with Nat, Clint with Jason and Percy is with me" he paused "ok no powers or weapons just hand to hand combat. Both Percy and Jason shared a look that didn't go unnoticed by Nat, Clint, or Steve.

Both teens watched a little bored in the first fight Tony versus Bruce, Bruce won Tony looked like he was barely trying which Steve lectured him about. The Next fight was a little more interesting as Rhoady and Sam were both ex-military Sam won, next was Scott and Peter both Jason and Percy perked up a little they were interested to see Peter fight. Peter won easily and honestly; they were a little disappointed they didn't get to see more

"Peter I thought I said no powers." Steve sighed both Jason and Percy's eyes widened they thought Steve only said the no powers thing because of them they never thought that these Avengers had powers too they thought they just had skill.

"I didn't use my powers I am just that awesome." Peter smiled showing off his white teeth Percy chucked Jason Smiled and Tony, Clint also smiled

"beat again by the kid," Scott grumbled as he got out of the ring grabbing an ice pack from the cooler Steve brought

"you ok?" Percy asked as Scott sat next to him.

"Yeah, I'm fine Peter just hits hard even when he is holding back." He grumbled

"no one likes a sore loser," Peter stated smiling as he sat down next to Percy.

"so, you have powers," Jason asked Peter nodded rubbing his neck and looking a little sheepish

"yeah but don't tell anyone outside of the Avengers I have a secret identity to watch out for," he spoke both Percy and Jason nodded and turned to watch the rest of the fight hoping they get to see his powers latter not realizing that they got to see some of his powers already. both of them thinking Peter could be one of them. The fight between Bucky and Black Widow was every interesting as neither of them seemed to be holding back the two Demigods watched closely and seeming to be able to follow the fast movements of the two Avengers. The fight ended in a tie which either seemed to mind.

"ok Clint, Jason your up" Steve stated Jason stood up to make his way to the ring "ok the fight ends when one of us taps out or Steve calls it," Clint stated Jason nodded and got into a flawless fighting stance Clint though the first punch which Jason easily sidestepped but Clint knew that was coming and quickly though another punch to Jason's face he dodged and went in to attack with blinding speed Clint was on his back with a stunned expression on his face.

"what happened I didn't see it." Scott gasped seemed everyone was a little surprised

"Jason no powers," Steve remarked as Clint got to his feet

"he didn't use any powers," Percy stated that just shocked everyone even more.

"but that happened so fast even I barely saw it," Peter stated Percy just shrugged

"you don't need to hold back I know how to take a hit," Jason spoke as the two squared off again Clint nodded this time he waited for Jason to attack first dodging his fist then kicked Jason in the chest. Jason stumbled a little but recovered quickly throwing his kick followed by a right cross that Clint barely dodged.

Percy could tell everyone was studying Jason trying to tie down his fighting style but Jason kept changing it up from Karate to boxing to street fighting he continued to push Clint back then deciding to end the fight put Clint in a hold which Clint tried to get out of but ended up taping out as his arm was starting to fall asleep Jason let go and backed up as Clint got his Barings. Jason offered a hand helping Clint to his feet. Everyone stared in shock at that fight surprised Clint was beaten by a 16-year-old and one that seemed to know more fighting styles then he did.

"kid where did you learn to fight like that." He breathed trying to catch his breath he was also a little annoyed that Jason didn't seem to be any worse for wear.

"camp" came his simple replayed either know he learned to fight at the wolf house but he just kept the story consistent. The Avengers was a little annoyed at the one-word response and wondered where he learned to fight since they thought 'camp' was just a code name.

"alright Percy you're up" Steve spoke getting out of he shocked state Percy he got up and walked to the ring

"same goes for me you don't need to hold back," Percy stated as they faced each other. unlike Jason Percy didn't get into a fighting stance instead they circled each other seeing that Percy wasn't going to attack first he attacked though a quick punching combo Percy dodged dipping down to sweep Steve's legs Steve stumbled back to avoided surprised that Percy didn't do the same thing as Jason Percy didn't let Steve recover since he was off balance Percy sent a quick punch to Steve's face and other to his gut Steve stubbled again hitting the net on the edge to the ring Percy stopped and backed up giving Steve room to get off the rope he frowned

"why did you stop." He asked everyone probably thinking the same thing since Percy had Steve cornered but stopped

in response, Percy shrugged "I did say you didn't need to hold back." Steve moved to the center of the ring again. He knew Percy was a skilled fighter since he fought him in central park and after seeing Jason fight he knew he couldn't underestimate him. This time he waited for Percy attack first much as Clint did but Percy moved fast slipping past his guard before he could blink giving a pretty hard kick to his stomach and swept his legs Steve landed hard on the mats his breath knocked out of him he was surprised that the kid could hit that hard he wondered if he had super strength like Peter did.

"you good?" Percy asked helping Steve up. he nodded smiling. They began trading blows with one another Steve tried to sweep Percy's feet but the teen saw it coming and jumped over Steve. he attacked Percy without warning much to his and everyone's surprise Percy caught the fist and pushed it back Percy smirking "you almost got me with that one surprise attack I like it." Percy stated now getting in a fighting stance just a flawless as Jason's and Steve realized Percy was just playing with him before. The fight picked up Steve got a couple of good hits in a couple to the face and one good one to the solar plexus making Percy stumble when he thought Percy was going to hit the mats Percy surprised him by taking Steve down with him and much like Jason's fight Percy ended his in a sleeper hold forcing Steve to tap out.

"I can't believe it both Clint and Steve were beaten by teenagers." Scott gasped eyes wide in disbelief

"just because we are younger doesn't mean we are less skilled." Percy stated with a slight frown as he hopped out of the ring. "a mistake many people fail to notice." He added also not breathing hard

"he is right you shouldn't underestimate your opponent based on age or sex." Widow stated she had a slight smile on her face as she watched Percy and Jason's fights they both impressed her.

"that. Was awesome!" Peter shouted jumping to his feet "you just beat Captain freacken America!" he raised his hand to high five Percy a couple of the Avengers notice Percy flinched back a little before he returned the high five.

"language" Steve sighed getting out of the ring

"you both are extremely skilled" Clint stated, "and strong." He added rubbing his shoulder a little.

"do you guys train like you are in a real fight?" Bucky asked

"Sometimes when we first start we are taught the basics and technique but the training we do push ourselves hard we even have a rock-climbing wall with real lava that sometimes rains rocks to try and knock you off. what is the point of training if you don't push your self to your limits if you don't train for real you could end up dead." Percy stated Everyone's eyes widened at that

Peter frowned "umm can't that kill you."

Percy shrugged "as far as I know no one died doing our obstacle course or die in any training exercises. Pulse if you get knocked off the lava is immediately shut off and covered."

"and that is fun for you?" Scott asked horrified Percy and Jason looked at each other they thought they had downplayed their training enough to not freak them out they thought they could handle that since they were superheroes they didn't understand their shock and horrified expression or how they could backtrack to make them calm down.

"umm sometimes I mean we also have games we play too usually after dinner," Percy started rubbing the back of his neck Jason nodded

"What kind of games?" Tony asked not sure if he wanted to know the answer or not.

"my favorite capture the flag," Percy stated smiling

"that's a game I recognize" Clint breathed a sigh of relief that these kids had normal games

"really you guys play that game too… my first time playing I was an untrained newbie so got stuck on border patrol and almost got killed when I was outnumbered by some bullies" Percy smiling glad that they calmed down Jason elbowed him he looked at him as if to say what was that for when he looked up seeing the confused expressions on everyone's faces

"what wait," Peter and Scott asked

"umm capture the flag two fighting forces all weapons aloud the only two rules don't maim or kill anyone," Percy stated slowly

"I don't remember any version of capture the flag with weapons" Rhodey stated

"they are one of the war games it is battle filed practice there is another game where one team builds a fort and the goal of the other team it to breach enemy lines and take the fort," Jason stated thinking that sounded less dangerous

"so, all your games are just fighting each other?" Scott asked

"well, there was another one that was banned but it was brought back." Percy thought only to get elbowed again

"what was it," Natasha asked Percy looked up

"it's nothing." Percy started but all of the adults glared at them

"what was the 'game'?" Bucky the word Game leaving a bitter taste his is mouth these kids' games were nothing but fighting each other

"chariot races you have a week to build you chariot with you partner and then we race." Percy explained

"that doesn't seem so bad why was it banded." Peter asked Percy looked back a Jason. Jason just shrugged if to say you might as well finish the explanation.

"well, it was deemed too dangerous. You have two-person teams one person drives and the other try to knock out the other team's anything is aloud I think it was banned because a couple of people died…" he thought not noticing the shocked looks on the superheroes faces as he just continued not noticing Jason facepalm "that was before my time though I did almost die when another team throws a grenade in our chariot and I couldn't get it out while driving and my partner was occupied trying to knock another team out of their chariot-." He stopped looking at the gathering people flinching sightly for too much information he "we won though and no one died or got seriously hurt." He added quickly 'mortals' he thought he missed war games they were really fun but I guess to people that aren't used to it or experience it. would sound extremely dangerous for kids to be doing… ok it was dangerous especially if they were normal kids for demigods is was just slightly less dangerous.

"I think we should get some lunch," Jason suggested trying to change the subject. Steve wanted to ask more but on one hand, he didn't want to know any more of these very dangerous 'games' these kids play in the name of training he was horrified just imaging a bunched of kids throwing grenades at each other and fighting with real weapons with little concern for their health.

"so, you want us to use our powers in here?" Jason asked now they were back in the training room.

"yes, this will be a lot more challenging than the robots you fought earlier," Steve stated and as to prove a point some panels in the walls opened up and fired several blue beams before closing again

"I don't think this is a good idea. Our powers can be pretty… destructive." Percy stated actually seaming a little nervous

"if you haven't noticed this training room self-heals so you can go all out and it will be fine," Tony stated Percy frowned deepened. Jason and he were two of the strongest if not the strongest demigods going 'all-out' would be a big mistake considering the last two times Percy went all out and he lost control many people got hurt and even killed. There was a reason he didn't rely on his powers and he thought Jason was probably the same way not to mention using their powers did take a lot of energy.

"I guess I go first this time?" Percy asked knowing there was no getting out of it

"actually, Scott and Sam are going to go first," Steve stated. As if on cue the two walked in now wearing their uniforms. Scott was in a red a black biker suit with silver accents and a silver helmet. Sam was in a red and white uniform with a metal backpack and red sunglasses.

The group moved up to the observation room. Once in the observation room, it looked like they were looking at a completely different place. Instead of the blank room from before, it looked to be a mountain range complete with blue skies and trees.

"We don't have this at camp," Percy muttered Tony heard him and smiled

"it's pretty cool right with this you can train in any type of weather or terrain," Tony spoke proudly

"and they are holograms?" Jason asked

"just like the enemy, you fought earlier the room is a realistic reseparation of the environment," Tony explained Percy and Jason turned back to the training room to see Antman and Falcon fighting off a bunch of large robots and rockets coming from panels hidden in the mountain. They watched Falcon swoop down shooting several of his red feathers at the enemy and when they hit the robots they exploded. They had lost sight of Antman but then one of the robots was ripped apart as a giant version of Antman emerged from the robot seeing the giant both Jason and Percy tensed a little Percy hand brush his pants where a pocket should have been. They quickly relaxed before anyone noticed, giant Scott was nothing like the giants they usually deal with.

When they were don't the room went back to the clean blank metal room it was before showing no since there was a battle. Scott and Sam opened the door to the viewing room both breathing a little hard and had a smile on their faces.

"did we look badass? I bet we looked badass." Scott started puffing out his chest

"That was pretty impressive," Jason stated giving a small smile

"That was awesome!" Peter shouted "can I go next?" he asked turning to face Steve and Tony

"I think it is Percy's and Jason's turn," Steve stated turning to face to two teens who frowned

"is there a problem?" Black widow asked he eyes narrowing

"I just thought we would get to see what all of you guys could do," Percy stated not at all happy that they have to show off their powers. If Nat didn't know any better it seemed Percy was a little disappointed.

"in time you probably will," Rhodey said

"will we get to use weapons as well?" Jason asked

"This training is just to showcase your powers," Steve stated Percy and Jason gazed at each other they never go into battle without a weapon and they only use their powers if they have too. Seeing the nervous look on the teen's faces the adults were a little confused about why they seemed so nervous.

"Have you guys gone into battle without some weapon?" Bucky asked both teens shook their heads

"then for this one time we will let you use weapons but we do what you to use your powers more. This could help you learn more control in your powers and if you are ever caught without a weapon in a real battle then you can be more convened in your own power." Steve stated both teens nodded

Steve took both teens back to the training room where the weapon wall was already open, Percy and Jason grabbed a sword which wasn't much of a surprise, and then went to the long-range weapons and each grabbed a hand gun. Percy checked to see it if was loaded before replacing the clip Jason did the same and they both but the guns in their waistbands.

"Those guns aren't loaded with real bullets are they?" Scott asked now become a little nervous with these kids handling guns

"they are but we are behind reinforced bulletproof glass and the doors will be locked if they try anything we will just activate the sedative," Natasha stated as she watched the two teens carefully.

"I saw both of them handle guns back on the Hellicaryor but I didn't think they would go for them now," Clint stated he remembered to bother Percy and Jason holding guns but neither of them took a shot.

In the training room, Percy and Jason walked away from the weapon wall which closed then the room changed and they looked to be in a city. They were standing in the middle of the street, tall buildings surrounded them, and cars parked on the side of the road. It was a little unnerving that the city was dead quiet they knew it was just a simulation but for Percy, it reminded him of the battle of Manhattan, Percy suppressed a shutter.

"We should find cover and find out what type of enemy we are going to be dealing with," Jason suggested bringing Percy out of his thoughts.

"ok, you two there you can go all out if you want and you need to take out all the enemies." Tony's voice filed the silent streets. Both teens nodded not knowing where the observation room was. Jason grabbed Percy and flew both of them to the top of a building so they could overlook the city. Once they were out of the street it seems like a switch had been flipped because the sky was filled with flying beetle looking things and the streets had large robots that towered over some of the smaller builds and humanoid robots with six arms.

"I didn't know we would be fighting an army just the two of us," Percy muttered as they both ducked down hoping they weren't seen by the enemy

"that makes too of us… you got a plan?" Jason asked.

Up in the observation room, they had a full view of the city Tony constructed and a screen showing Percy and Jason crouched on the rooftops.

"don't you think you mad this a little too hard for their first time?" Sam asked seeing the army of robots

"This isn't designed for them to win it is hard to try and get them to use their powers and so we can see what they are truly capable of," Steve stated

"but isn't this still a little overkill?" Peter asked looking at Percy and Jason with concern

"This isn't real so we can stop this at any time they will be fine," Tony stated

"I am just wounding what they are doing?" Clint asked as the two teens have yet to move from their spot on the roof.

"give me a sec," Tony stated just then Jason and Percy's voices fill the observation room and it seems like they were discussing a plan and neither seem scared or concerned with the overwhelming odds.

"Why are you asking me if I have a plan?" Percy asked

"well for social stuff you are pretty useless since it goes right over your head. But you want someone dead or a perfect strategic plan to take out over 200 enemies you're the man." Jason stated all the Avengers were a little surprised by what Jason said Percy seemed to sigh

"fine… so, I think the ones in the air are supposed to be for you since I can't fly" Percy stated

"so, do you what to try that move we have been practicing?" Jason suggested Percy shook his head

"I know they want us to showcase our powers but that is untested and I don't want it getting out of control here," Percy stated the Avengers frowned wondering what the two were talking about Jason just nodded

"well, I think we keep them waiting long enough you ready to take on a whole army?" Jason asked Percy smiled

"you know it is not I had anything else planned for today." Percy shrugged either to know this was just training the light tone and attitudes they had was to relieve the tension. They both stood we caught the attention of the beetles in the air Percy nodded to Jason and he took off to face the beetles some of them dive-bombed Percy forcing him to jump to another building's roof Percy drew his gun and began firing behind him. The robots charged him Percy skidded to a stop on another roof drawing the sword and slashing at one of the robots when it got close. The Avengers couldn't believe the speed of Percy sword fighting and how he used the gun and sword like it was one weapon he fought like a demon firing and slashing at the beetle-like robots.

They fought like a team neither needed to speak as they knew what the other was thinking and they moved in unison like a well-oiled machine.

"they have defiantly fought together," Steve observed as they watched both teens making quick work of the robots

Jason was doing the same in the air he was like a rocket spinning in the air firing his gun and running his sword through the enemy's left and right he swooped down taking out another robot and gabbing Percy's outstretched arm and flying down to street level where the enemies were waiting.

"come and get me!' Percy shouted to get the robot's attention they charged as Percy turned and dashed off down the street and as he ran he caused fire hydrants and pips to explode drenching the street with water the Percy past an ally the Jason was in he stepped out his hand reaching for the sky and seeing that all the robots were soaking wet and they were all standing in a puddle of water he brought down his hand and lighting hit the water electrocuting everything in the water causing the buildings close by to shake and the people in the observation room to shield their eyes from the bright light.

"what the heck!" Clint gasped they were not expecting Jason you summon lighting like that or one that powerful

"he has the same powers as Thor." Rhoedy gasped when the dust cleared and they could see the battle filed again the saw a large portion of the robot army was destroyed and only 30 to 40 of them managed to escape the trap Percy and Jason set.

"looks like we got some survivors," Percy started seeing the robots hesitate to come after them after that display of power.

"do you want to finish them off?" Jason asked Percy just nodded and stepped forward he held out his hand and the water began swirling. the robots tried to get to them but the water begins swirling faster than the humanoid robots lost their footing and were swept away by the current. For the two large remaining robots, they were making headway in the water

"Percy I think you need to pick it up a bit the big ones are headed for us," Jason warned Percy saw that he was trying to hold back but seeing his mini hurricane wasn't going to cut it he grunted and took another step forward more explosions of water erupted from the builds slamming into the larger robots Percy's hurricane began to grow inside and strength and started ripping apart buildings.

"you have got to be kidding me that kid can create hurricanes!" Sam gasped as the watched the hurricane tarring thought the city.

"it is a category two hurricane according to Jarvis and doesn't seem to be losing any power for it being on land," Tony stated. Then the hurricane just vanished like it was never there the only evidence that there had been something was the destroyed buildings and robots but the street was now dry there were no puddles to be found.

"Thanks for playing" Percy Voice filled the speakers in the quite control room snapping the Avengers out of their shocked silence

"These kids are a lot stronger than we originally thought," Nat stated even she couldn't hide her shock at the display of power.

"No kidding they weren't supposed to be able to take out an entire army by themselves but they destroyed every last enemy in less than an hour." Clint gasped wide eyes

"Just who are these kids and what did we get ourselves into," Bruce asked but no one answered just then the door to the observation opened, and in walked Percy and Jason both seem a little tired now but still looked like they could take on another 200 enemies.

"That was awesome and kind of scary," Peter stated the first on the speak when the teens entered the room

"Thanks, I think," Percy stated

"that was… impressive." Steve stated carefully "is there anything else you two can do that you would like to tell us?" he asked

"just to say that is one of the reasons we don't like using our powers much we told you they can be a bit destructive," Percy stated

"and the other reason you don't like using your powers?" Sam asked

"because doing large stuff like we just did takes a lot out of us and sometimes it can be hard to control." Jason sated Percy looked down remembering the few time he had lost control of his powers and people were hurt.

"you guys don't seem all that tired so are you saying there is more you can do?" Scott asked kind of dreading the answer. Both Percy and Jason just shrugged which got the adult's eyes to widen even more just imagining the destruction these two could cause.

"ok I think that is enough for today's way don't we take you two to your rooms so you can shower. The stuff you asked for should be in your rooms by now." Tony stated the other Avengers nodded. Steve and Bucky escorted the two teens to their room.
