-Raquel takes a drive down "C" Street, until we reach the Victorian Mansion

-Raquel's huge apartment is bombarded with many of the other occupants in the mansion:
CHRISTOPHER
Did you ATV the OHV Trail?
FAYE
Was the make shift shanty easy to find?
JAMIE
Those 4 look real suspicious, right?
ANJELICA
I swear I've seen that woman before, somewhere
DANNY
Did you stand behind a tree and use the binoculars?
JACKIE
I'm sure I've seen the man, with the long beard in the saloon
IRENE
Do you think the younger people are their kids?
RAQUEL
Wow! Settle down. Give me a chance to breath. I looked like usual with my morning ATV ride up and down the trails and I always take the binoculars to spot the birds. So all seemed normal. Yes, I saw the weird display of squatters. The man was in his late forties and very well dressed for the middle of nowhere in the mountains. Imagine him in a beard and not ageing well; he wears skinny jeans with a high cut jacket and boots to impress who? The woman in her mid-thirties was dressed real casual in her crop top and shorts.
Then told the story of this one conversation she overheard.
All of a sudden the younger ones started fighting and almost threw fists
BOY 1
You let her walk all over you; you need her to pay up
BOY 2
She pays me plenty. Don't you worry about my money
BOY 1
How many Johns she do in an hour?
THE WOMAN
Stop it, now. Just keep a real low profile. I don't need to tell you about the brothel nearby.
THE MAN
Yeah. You think the dope business is rough. Those brothel owners and workers don't mess around and they give no second chances.
-Raquel tells the story eloquently and about tip-toeing backwards toward the ATV and walking it a good distance before starting the motor.

ACT I - Scenes 1 -5
INT VARIOUS APARTMENTS IN THE "C" STREET MANSION - AROUND 11 A.M.
-We see Christopher, Faye Raquel, Irene, Danny, Jackie, Anjelica and Jamie dress for work in an early 1860's costume. The men wear clothing for a card dealer and the women choose dance hall dresses that are full of ruffles and stop just below the knee to reveal nice, cotton striped socks.
-We see Schumann Sonata No1 in F Sharp Minor practiced again and again by Danny and of course 4 couples practice the popular, The Lancers Quadrille with its 5 parts
-Jackie likes to dress like and give historical data on the famous faro dealer Hamilton Baker, while Angelica likes to dress like Julia Bulette, the elegant brothel owner
CUT TO INT APARTMENT BUILDING ON "C" STREET - SAME TIME AROUND 11 A.M.
-We see a strange woman enter her apartment, kick off her shoes and turn on the fan - we hear a knock at the door - she goes to the door and slightly opens it
-We see man push his way into the apartment and put his hand over her mouth
-The man is not seen from the front; they struggle and we see only the attacker's back side
-We see the woman slump to the ground and we hear the intruders foot steps as he leaves the apartment, walk down the hall and out the front door
CUT TO INT VARIOUS APARTMENTS IN THE "C" STREET MANSION - SAME TIME AROUND 11 A.M.
-We see Faye, Raquel, Irene, Danny, Jackie, Anjelica and Jamie watch a familiar woman enter Christopher's apartment
-We see all the other tenants follow her and listen to the conversation
MRS JAMES
Just now, I have yet another death. This is the second one this month and the girls are in big fear
JAMIE
All your girls are street walkers, right?
MRS JAMES
No, they are legit, clean prostitutes or let's say "call girls"
CHRISTOPHER
Both dead girls are/were pros - no "call girls." Right?
MRS JAMES
Yes, that's right
ANJELICA
So, the killer is targeting a certain type of gal
DANNY
Do the girls do their work/entertaining in your building or in their apartment?
MRS JAMES
No. They must do it outside the building. I want them to feel safe and secure on my property. It's the only home many of the girls have ever known. However, both killings were on my property.
RAQUEL
I'm guessing the police have no clues, as usual.
MRS JAMES
Yep. None. Christopher, I've heard you and your team investigates quietly, discreetly and gets the job done. I can't afford the girls to leave me and run to the brothel for security. Please help me
CHRISTOPHER
We'll talk it over and let you know. Come back tomorrow morning about this same time for a firm answer. Sorry to cut you short, but we all have a gig to get to. Come see us at the Bucket of Blood Saloon.
ACT II - Scenes 1 -5
INT BUCKET OF BLOOD SALOON AFTERNOON
-We see Faye, Raquel, Irene, Danny, Jackie, Anjelica, Jamie and Christopher busy giving poker lessons: Faro, 7-Card Stud, 5-Card Draw, 5-Card Omaha, Texas Hold'em, H.O.R.S.E. poker, Omaha high-low etc.
-All of a sudden a miner walks in with a bag full of silver nuggets. Beer is provided by the Carson City Brewery. He starts singing loudly Wanderin Star, after that another miner walks in singing Gold Fever and lastly another miner sings They call the wind Maria .
-During this long break Faye, Raquel, Irene, Danny, Jackie, Anjelica, Jamie and Christopher have the first opportunity to talk and come to a decision on whether to take the case or not.
INT VARIOUS APARTMENTS IN THE "C" STREET MANSION - AROUND 11 A.M.
CHRISTOPHER
We have made a decision with some initial strategy
MRS JAMES
Great! When will you begin?
FAYE
Tonight, us gals will move into your two vacant apartments. Now's the time to get them cleaned up.
RAQUEL
Wow! We'll be undercover hookers - 2 in each apartment
JAMIE
Not too ridiculous. What will you do with your cane, Faye?
ANJELICA
Imagine this kind of hip action
IRENE
Don't throw you're hip out again, Angie
DANNY
Us guys will show up as maintenance, gardeners and handymen!
