THIS IS THE FINAL CHAPTER OF THIS FANFICTION.

A way for me to give it a closure. If you want, give it a read. I also explained my stance on Issei at the bottom, if you are interested.

The very next day, the group arrived at the train station. As much as he wanted Sumire and Makoto to stay a bit longer, both had to leave rather quickly in order to arrive back in Tokyo on time. Kuoh was quite a bit off the city, making it hard for them to meet for prolonged periods of time. And while he could use Lavenza's ability, he didn't want it to become a crutch or give Rias and other more evidence.

"So, here we are again, Senpai," Sumire said as she looked at the platform, not hiding her emotions.

"It's unfortunate that we have to leave so soon, but I guess it can't be helped," Makoto said, the girls turning towards Akira.

"If I could come back to Tokyo, you know I would have done so by now," Akira said with a weak smile.

"I know, Leader, it's the only choice you had and I can understand it. Still, be careful," Makoto said as two shared a friendly hug.

"Sumire...," Akira started, only for the girl to walk up to him and give him a peck on the lips.

"Promise me that you will be careful, Akira," She said, the two sharing embrace.

"I will, for you, for Lavenza and everyone else," He replied and the two stayed like this for a moment.

"Train for Tokyo is arriving on platform one, track two," The automatic voice said.

"I guess it's time," Makoto said with a sigh.

"Indeed, take care, Miss Nijima," Lavenza said, while Makoto smiled.

"You too, Miss Lavenza," She replied.

"Be careful you two and watch out for Supernatural, would you?" Morgana said.

"Of course, Morgana, we learned from the best, didn't we?" Makoto said and gently petted the cat.

"Keep an eye for Joker, would you, Morgana?" Sumire said and petted the cat as well.

"Leave it to me," The cat replied.

"Take care you two," Akira said and walked them to their train.

The trio watched as the girl made themselves comfortable on the train, the group looking at each other through the windows. He watched as the train left, waving to the girls in the process, until he could no longer see them, leaving only him, Morgana and Lavenza behind.

"Are you okay, Trickster?" Lavenza asked.

"I am fine, but it's quite disappointing. We get to meet Sumire and Makoto and they have to leave the very next day," He replied.

"It's not like there is another option we have got, do we?" Morgana asked while stretching himself. "In any event, we still have got a full day ahead of us. Is there anything we should do?"

"How about our homework?" Akira pointed out, while Lavenza sighed.

"I suppose that's necessary to handle as well. Shall we head back home?" She suggested while the trio nodded.

The trio was walking home when they noticed a girl falling over. Acting on instinct, Akira rushed forward, barely managing to catch her. The same couldn't be said about her baggage, which split open on the streets, her personal belongings splitting over the pavement.

"Are you alright?" He asked in Japanese.

"Eh... I um, yes, thank you," She said, as she took a step back, her Japanese not the best.

The girl in question was a young girl with long blonde hair, reaching all the way back to her eyes and green eyes. She was wearing a dark teal nun outfit with light blue accents, a white veil over her head and a brown satchel slung on her right hip, with a silver cross necklace around her neck.

"Can you speak English?" Akira asked in the aforementioned language.

"Yes, quite a bit. Thank you for help," She replied with a bow.

"You're welcome, miss...?" Akira started.

"Asia, Asia Argento," She introduced herself.

"It's a pleasure to meet, Miss Argento. I am Akira Kurusu and this is Lavenza and my cat Morgana," He introduced them.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Argento," Lavenza said.

"Hey, Joker, wasn't the girl the angels mentioned, called 'Asia'?" Morgana asked something he noticed as well.

"May I inquire where are you headed, Miss Argento?" He asked.

"Oh, to the church," She replied with an innocent smile.

"I knew it. It seems like we were very lucky, Joker, you mustn't let her go there or she will die," Morgana meowed.

"Miss Argento, are you perhaps familiar with the name Raynare, Kalawarmer and such?" Akira asked while the girl blinked in response.

"I am, what about it?" She asked, surprised that Akira knew about them.

"That's what I thought... You mustn't go there," He said.

"W-why is that?" She inquired, looking a bit scared and confused.

"They intend to kill you for your Sacred Gear, Miss Argento," Lavenza said, the girl's eyes spread wide open.

"That's... that cannot be," She muttered, not able to believe her own ears.

"Miss Argento, could you come with us for a moment so I can explain it? I only wish to talk to you," Akira said, the nun looking between the trio.

"I...," She started. "Okay..."

"Please follow me," He said, took the baggage and led them to one of the cafes, taking the table in the corner and giving them a semblance of privacy.

"Kurusu, can you... explain to me what do you mean by that?" She asked, while Akira quickly summarized what he heard at the Church. "It can't be..."

He could see the girl was in shock, not able to believe her own ears and what she just heard. He couldn't really blame her, from what he gathered, the girl didn't have an easy life. Not only was she excommunicated, but the ones who extended a hand to her were also plotting to kill her just for her power. It was messed up and on the inside, he was already thinking of how to deal with those angels, without getting Phantom Thieves involved.

"What am I supposed to do now...," The girl muttered.

"Perhaps, you could stay with us," Akira suggested, the girl turning towards them.

"Can I?" She asked, not able to believe her own ears.

"Indeed, we have got a bedroom spare. You could stay there until we figure out a way to keep you safe from fallen angels," Lavenza said.

"But... won't be in danger then? I don't want that," She replied.

"We are already in danger anyway," Akira said with a shrug.

Asia blinked in response. "Why is that?"

"There are devils in Kuoh, Miss Argento. They are already keeping an eye on anything supernatural," Lavenza said.

"Devils...?" She asked, biting her lip a bit.

"Is something wrong, Miss Argento?" Akira asked.

"No, it's just... the reason I was excommunicated... was because I healed a devil," She admitted.

"You can't be serious...," Morgana said.

"That's... I am sorry to hear that, Miss Argento," Akira replied.

"Please call me Asia, it feels odd otherwise," She said with a weak smile.

Devils, first they pestered Lavenza, then they ruined the girl's life and now even Issei was a devil. It seemed like their greed was bottomless. The more he got to know about devils, the more he wanted to stay away from them. They embodied seven deadly sins in one way or another, so alien, so different from human, but looked the same. However, their actions thus far cemented his opinion of them.

"Very well, Asia. Now, we would like to ask you what do you intend to know with the knowledge you possess?" Lavenza asked while the girl mulled it over.

"I want to trust you... but," She started.

"I suppose it's natural you feel that way. You see us as potential enemies or someone who will trick you again," Akira said, while the girl nodded. "However, you have got my word that I will not cause you any harm, nor will I restrict you from leaving, if you ever change your mind."

"... Do you really meant that?" She asked while Akira nodded. "Okay, I will trusty you, Mister Kurusu."

"Just call me, Akira," He replied with a smile and offered his hand. "Now then, let us depart."

The girl nodded, smiled and grabbed his hand before the group made their way back to the apartment. As soon as they arrived, Akira let Lavenza and others first, before closing the door behind them. The girl looked around the apartment, which looked quite a bit nicer than what she was used, especially over the past few days.

"Please make yourself at home, Asia. In the meantime, we shall prepare something for you to eat," Lavenza said and as if on cue, the girl's stomach rumbled, making her blush.

Akira chuckled, same with Lavenza and Morgana. "It seems like Lavenza was right about this. Just give me a moment, Lavenza, can you help me out?"

"Very well, Akira," She said and followed him to the kitchen, while Morgana kept his eye on the girl, who looked around not sure what to do with herself.

"Poor girl, so much happened to her, in a way, she is similar to the likes of Futaba, Sumire and Haru," Morgana muttered to himself.

"So, Akira, why did you invite her here instead of renting a place at one of the hotels?" Lavenza asked, curious about his decision.

"It's the safest place in the city and if they come looking after her, we will be able to protect her," Akira explained. "I hope you don't mind that, Lavenza."

"Not in the slightest. It's only natural you would help someone in need. It's one of the many things I love about you, Trickster," She replied, while Akira smiled in response and gently patted the girl on the head.

"Thank you, Lavenza," He replied and the two got down to making some curry for Asia. A few moments later, the meal was done, along with the cafe for him, Lavenza and Asia. "Asia, the meal is ready!"

"Ah, coming!" She replied as she went to the kitchen. Her eyes immediately turned to the curry, making her eyes spread wide open. He even made fish some for Morgana and put it on the table, something Asia noticed but decided to bring up.

"Have a nice meal," Akira said, as he and the rest of the group got down to it. It only took a single bite for Asia to squeak in delight, which she immediately realized and blushed like a tomato, while making others chuckle. "I am assuming it's good?"

"It is delicious! What is it?" The girl said and tried her best to hold herself back and eat with proper manners, this time with a smile on her face.

"It's called curry, you should try coffee too," He suggested and took a bite out of his own meal.

The girl nodded, swallowed a bit of curry and took a sip. "It's delicious, foamy, with delicate texture..."

Akira simply smiled in response, glad he could make the girl's day a little bit better. There were still many problems involved with his decision, like the fact of how long Asia would be staying here and what to do next. However, it could wait. Right now, he had to take care of the angels and the way he saw it, there were two options.

The first option was to go there and deal with them himself. It wouldn't be hard, not with the personas he possessed, but it would not sit well with him. Not only there were humans there, but it would also mean, he would have to kill them himself, along with the angels. He wasn't a killer, he didn't want to kill others. Even the stray devil he killed was something he really wished he could have avoided.

The other option was to let Rias and Sona know about the angels. It was their territory and they should act like it's guardians instead of sitting on their butts. Although considering the fact that they didn't deal with the angels so far and couldn't protect Issei or Asia from them, meant that they were pretty bad at their job, all things considered. Plus, it would keep other Phantom Thieves safe.

"Thank you for the meal!" Asia said while smiling.

"Did you enjoy it?" Akira asked while the girl nodded.

"Of course, thank you for everything, Akira," She replied.

"Don't mention it. Make yourself comfortable and choose one the bedrooms upstairs," He said, while the girl nodded.

"Okay, the girl," Said, took her baggage and went upstairs.

"So, Joker, what do we do from now?" Morgana asked.

"Well, perhaps, we could send an anonymous note to Sona and Rias, let them know about the angels. It would keep us safe and if we leave it at the mailbox of the Student Council, they shouldn't connect it to us," He replied.

"Do we have means of doing so?" Lavenza asked.

"There is a printer on the campus. It should be enough," Joker said.

"Seems like a plan to me," The cat said. "Although, before that, I was thinking about something."

"What about, Morgana?" Lavenza asked.

"Well, the devils use those Evil Pieces to turn others into devils, right? I was thinking, is it even possible to reverse this process?" The cat asked.

"That's... a good question. Is it?" Akira asked while turning to Lavenza.

"I can not confirm nor deny that theory," Lavenza said.

"Hmm... we will have to check it out one day, perhaps with another stray devil," Akira said, while the two nodded.

While they were talking, Asia decided to come downstairs. "I have unpacked myself, Akira."

"Glad to hear it, so, do you have any plans for today?" Akira asked.

"I am afraid not, after what you told me," She said.

"I see. Why don't you play with Lavenza on PlayStation Four then?" He suggested.

"PlayStation Four? What is it?" The girl asked.

"...How sheltered were you, Asia?" Akira asked.

The girl blushed in response while tapping her fingers together. "I have spent most of my life in the church. I have never heard of 'PlayStation' or anything like this."

"Lavenza, why don't you show her how to play?" Akira suggested.

"Gladly. Miss Asia, please follow me," Lavenza said, booted up the console and began teaching her.

In the meantime, Akira and Morgana went to the bedroom he occupied and booted the PC he restored back in Tokyo. It wasn't top of the line machine, but it was good enough for most of the tasks. With it's help, he began designing a message he would print, one that would stay as far away from Phantom Thieves. Meaning, not a calling card, nothing of this nature. It only took a moment, to write a simple, but a coherent message, leaving no hints of who might have sent it.

"It looks good enough, Joker," Morgana said.

"You think so?" He asked while the cat nodded. "Alright, I will leave it tomorrow at the mailbox."

"Good, now, there is something I wanted to talk with you about. You know how devils saw us yesterday, don't you?" He asked.

"Yeah, what about it?" He asked.

"Well, I was thinking, how did they figure out that Lavenza was involved in the first accident? I can understand the second one since it was a rather big spectacle, but the first time devils arrived after we left," He pointed out.

"That's a good point. Some kind of magic?" He suggested.

"Perhaps... or maybe something much more simple," He said.

"What are you thinking off?" He asked.

"Scent, our scent," He replied, making Akira's eyes spread wide open.

"That's... possible. However, none of the devils looked like a cat, last I checked," He pointed out.

"Hmm... it's just a theory. However, some of the devils could have different abilities, depending on their clan or Sacred Gear or something," He said.

"It is possible. Wait a second. If you what you are saying is true then...," He started.

"They will most likely figure out that we were at the abandoned building," Morgana said.

"... Great," Akira muttered while looking up at the ceiling. "So, it's safe to assume that Rias and Sona will call us on Monday for questioning, won't they?"

"I am afraid so. Even if they lack any concentrate proof, it's still good enough for them, I believe," He replied.

"So, what should we do when I and Lavenza get called to the Student Council?" He asked.

"I don't know. However, I believe you will do what's right," Morgana said.

"Gee, thanks, Mona," Akira said and sighed.

"Eeep!" He heard from the living room.

"I believe it is my victory again," Lavenza said.

"Looks like they are still going at it," Akira said. "Hey, Mona, could you stay with Asia during her stay here. With you here, she should be safe."

"Leave it to me, Akira. You deal with Sona and Rias, while I keep Asia safe. Until we deal with the devils and angels, she shouldn't venture out of the house," He suggested.

"Agreed, let us get ready for tomorrow. I have got a feeling, it won't end well for anybody involved," Akira said and went to teach Asia how things were going to be for the next few days.

The very next day, only Akira and Lavenza went to the school, leaving both Mona and Asia back at home. They taught the girl how to use a microwave and even bought some ready-to-eat meals for her. It should be enough to keep her busy, plus Morgana could actually play some games with her, something that surprised the girl. However magical cat was not all that weird, compared to what she had seen thus far.

As Akira entered the classroom, Sona and Tsubaki walked up to him. "Miss Shinra, Miss Shitori, is there something I can help you with?"

"I would like to request your and Miss Lavenza's presence at the Student Council during the break," She said.

"I see. May I ask what is the reason for that?" He asked.

"It's confidential, I am afraid. You will find out everything when you get there," She said and went back to her seat.

The rest of the lessons were spent with him barely paying attention, as he tried to figure out how to deal with the devils. The note he prepared yesterday was something that could help or not. He had personas that actually were able to remove his scent from it, along with rubber gloves just in case. How useful would it be, was hard to say. As soon as the bell rang, Sona and Tsubaki left, giving him a knowing glance, which he nodded to. There he headed towards the Student Council, both he and Lavenza meeting on their way there.

"So, ready, Lavenza?" He asked as he prepared his Fafnir persona for the questioning.

"Indeed, how about you, Akira?" She asked, ready to call forth her powers.

"As good as I will ever be," He said and knocked on the door.

"Please come in," He heard from the inside.

To nobody's surprise, the entirety of both the Student Council and Occult Research Club was already waiting for them as he locked the door behind and walked up closer, without seating on the sofa.

"Please, have a seat, Mister and Miss Kurusu," Sona said.

"I think we will pass, Miss Shitori," Akira replied, the two standing in the middle of the room.

"If that is what you desire. Now then, I believe you know why you were called here today?" She asked.

"Perverted Trio?" He asked while Sona shook her head.

"No, it's regarding your presence at an abandoned building yesterday in evening hours," She replied.

"Is that so? What proof do you have?" He asked.

"Mister Kurusu, please, don't play dumb with me," She said. "We have found your scent at both the abandoned building and manor."

"Didn't take you for a hound dog, Miss Shitori, "He replied, while Sona deadpanned at him.

"Can you please take it seriously, or are you going to dance around the issue?" She asked and sprouted wings from her back along with other devils in the room. "Lavenza told you about us, hasn't she?"

"Camazots of Mayan mythology, right?" Akira asked while Lavenza giggled.

"No, we are devils," Sona said with a sigh. "Anyway, may I ask what were you doing in the manor and the abandoned building?"

"I refuse to answer," Akira said, while Sona glared at him.

"How dare you...," Saji growled, only for Sona to shoot him a glare of her own, making him shut up.

"I see. In that case, would you prefer I asked some of the members of the Phantom Thieves, like Makoto Nijima, Ann Takami, Ryuji Sakamoto or Haru Okumura?" She asked.

Akira's eyes narrowed in response. "Word of advice, Sitri, keep them away from this."

"Not if you refuse to cooperate," She replied.

"And why would I want to cooperate with you? Especially since you and Rias are incapable of even supervising your own territory," He replied.

"What do you mean by that?" Sona inquired.

"I am talking about him, obviously," Akira said and pointed at the Issei, who blinked in confusion. "A fallen angel was able to sneak into your territory and murder him in cold blood, wasn't she?"

"That's not...," Sona started.

"Furthermore, Issei, question, were you reincarnated as a devil without your consent?"Akira asked.

"I... I mean, yes, but if it wasn't for Rias I would have died," He replied, while Rias smiled hearing this.

"Perhaps, but aren't you even remotely bothered by that fact?" Akira asked.

"Of course not! If anything, I am grateful to Rias Senpai!" He exclaimed while Akira and Lavenza blinked.

"Why is that?" Akira asked, trying to understand the pervert.

"Because, if I become stronger, I will be able to get my own harem!" He exclaimed with a cheer. The silence that followed was so thick, one could slice with a butter knife. As even Rias, rubbed her forehead in response to the statement.

"... Issei," Akira started.

"Yeah?" He asked.

"You are dead to me. If a giant angry dragon were to come out of nowhere and proceed to eat you, I wouldn't have lifted a finger to help you," He replied.

"Haha, it's a joke, right, right?" He asked, while Akira just stared at him.

"No, Issei, this is not a joke. To me, you are everything I wish I never become, not in my lifetime. Do you even use your brain, or is it that too much to expect?" Akira asked. "Dear Lord." Devils cringed at the name. "I swear, you are even worse than Kamoshida."

"Kamoshida?" Issei asked.

"My PE teacher from high school. He abused his students emotionally, physically sexually. I am talking about a guy who sabotaged athletes in rival sports, so his own class would rise to prominence," Akira explained.

"Wait, what...? I am not that bad!" Issei protested.

"Are you really? Kamoshida's training was torture, all the students coming out bruised. He deliberately abused and molested girls on perceived private terms, he tried to force a girl into sex and had no respect for the women. You aren't better. All you do is try to peep along with your perverted friends. You have got no shame, no remorse, nothing. If it was up to me, you would have been locked up in jail for sexual harassment long ago," Akira said. "If anything, castrating you, would do a world, a whole lot of good."

At that sentence, Issei shivered, while covering his balls. "You won't do that, will you?"

"No, I won't, I am going to give that pleasure to Lavenza and other girls you wronged," Akira replied with a glare, before turning towards the devils. "Anyway, moving on. So, tell me, Miss Sitri and Gremory, why should I cooperate with you, seeing your actions thus far?"

"How about the fact that you caused us the trouble in the first place?" Rias pointed out.

"Did we? We stayed as far away from you as possible, haven't we?" Akira replied.

"Perhaps, but you are still unknown elements in our territory, especially including the fact that Miss Lavenza here was able to slay a stray devil by herself," Sona said.

"Assuming you are correct, what do you expect from us?" Akira asked.

"Information. Among the things I want to know more about is the power that you possess, one that let you fight a stray devil without a Sacred Gear and win," She replied.

"I refuse," Akira said.

"Indeed, we have got no intention of telling you about us more than necessary," Lavenza said, while Sona sighed.

"So, you have got no intention of explaining that as well. In that case, let me ask you, where do you expect us to go from here?" Sona asked.

"The way I see it, it is rather simple. I and my friends want to stay away from you and the rest of your kind," He replied.

"What about your friends, do they share your opinion?" Rias tried. She had no intention of giving up on potential peerage members.

"That goes especially to you, Gremory. Keep your Evil Pieces to yourself," Akira warned.

Rias frowned in response. "What is wrong with Evil Pieces and living longer than an average human?"

"Quite a few things. Personally, I would rather die as a human than live longer as a devil, especially if someone brought me back, against my will," He replied. That shook Rias, who was not expecting such a hostile response.

"Mister Kurusu, do you hate devils by any chance?" Sona asked.

"Hate you? Not exactly. Despise you? Evidently," He replied. "I know that some accepted your offer out of their own free will, which I can understand. However, that doesn't make it right. In fact, I want to know, why do you even use Evil Pieces?"

"In that case, let us make an exchange. I will tell you a bit about the history of Evil Pieces, while you in return tell us how you managed to 'steal hearts'," Sona suggested.

"Works for me," Akira said. He would avoid the power of persona and such and with Mementos gone, nobody could use that knowledge ever again.

"Very well, the Evil Pieces were created by Ajuka Beelzebub in order to replenish the number of devils after the Great War, which had caused the death of countless devils," She replied.

"Great War?" Akira inquired.

"It was a massive war between devils of Old Satan Faction and the current leaders, which happened about five hundred years ago, long before I or Rias were born," Sona replied.

"So, wait a moment. You devils have been using that early on to replenish your numbers, which I can understand. However, why did you continue using it long after the war?" Akira asked.

That was the thing that ticked him off the most. He could understand the idea of replenishing their numbers, the basic biology coming in play there and then. However, that happened hundreds of years ago, there was no reason to use Evil Pieces anymore. So, the conclusion was simple, the system was so beneficial to the devils, they decided to keep it.

"Over the years, it has become a part of the devil culture and led to the creation of Rating Games, making abolishing hard, if not impossible," She replied.

"So, basically, you kept a system that benefits you, not thinking about how it would affect the lives of others? Tell me, how many were forcefully converted? Killed and brought back as devils, with no chance to leave, or go stray?" He asked.

"Not all the devils are like this!" Rias protested.

"Akira Kurusu, you are basing your opinion on a biased perception of us," Sona suddenly said, while standing up, getting fed up with the man's behaviour.

"Perhaps, perhaps you are right, not all the devils are evil," He started, getting Rias's hopes up. "However, it doesn't change the fact that those who are, can run the lives of hundreds or even thousands of others, just to get what they want."

"It's true there are devils like that, but the laws forbid them from doing anything like this," Sona said in a stern voice.

"And how many of them adhere to the rules? How many of them have hidden, brainwashed or have done something similar to their peerage members?" He pointed.

"Indeed, your kind is not one that is beneficial to humankind," Lavenza said.

"You are calling us harmful to humans, but what about other races? What about other mythologies that do exist? Are you simply going to avert your gaze to them instead?" Sona almost shouted. "Regardless, I believe, you owe us the explanation yourself."

"Stealing hearts, huh? Honestly, you are out of luck. The only method to do so was removed from me long ago," Akira said, while Sona's eyes narrowed.

"What do you mean by that?" She asked.

"You see, I was able to jump into 'hearts' of others by using a smartphone app, which no longer exists. With the app gone, the change of heart is no longer possible," He replied with a smile.

"That's it?" Rias asked.

"Yep, nothing more to it," He replied.

"Then, how is it possible for Miss Lavenza to fight a stray devil?" Sona pointed out.

"It's because I possess a power of my own, one that is separate from your magic," She replied.

"It is possible...," Sona muttered, since there were many different races, and some had unique abilities, separate from magic used by humans, which was based on the devil ones.

"Then, why did you come with Miss Lavenza to the building with the stray devil?" Rias pointed out.

"I only went inside, after it was already safe," Akira lied. "Lavenza took care of it herself."

"Then, is it safe to assume that the second time you went to an abandoned building, there were stray devils there as well?" Sona asked.

"Perhaps," Akira said with a smile

"Then how do you explain the power of destruction, we saw signs off?" Sona asked.

"Power of the destruction? What is that?" Lavenza asked.

"It's the power my clan possesses," Rias said and manifested an orb of pure destruction in her hands.

"I wasn't aware that you possessed ability like this, Miss Gremory. However, I am afraid that you are incorrect in your assumption," Lavenza said.

"What do you mean by that?" Sona asked. Lavenza looked at Akira, who simply nodded, a small showcase like this would not hurt them. She then summoned the Grimoire and began channelling a bit of power of Curse in her right hand, without calling upon the power of persona.

"The power you see in my hand is similar in a way to Power of the Destruction, as you called it, but they are completely separate," Lavenza said and snuffed out the magic. "Does it explain anything?"

"A question, what is that power?" Rias asked her attention on the girl. She was one of the Gremory clan, one who inherited the power of the destruction. The fact that there was a girl, that actually could use something similar didn't sit well with her.

"I would rather keep the specifics to myself," Lavenza replied.

"Oh no, I need to know more," Rias protested. "Each devil clan has got something unique. Bael wields the power of destruction, Phenex, immortality and Hell-Fire. Your power is too similar to that."

"I see... In that case, how about we compare their destructive power? Would that suffice?" Lavenza suggested.

"Indeed, now, how should we do that...," Rias muttered.

"Rias, I am not letting you destroy the Student Council," Sona said. "I am afraid that will have to wait until next time."

"But, Sona!" Rias protested.

"I know how you feel, Rias. However, it can wait, after we are done," She said. "Miss Lavenza, is it safe to assume, it's not the only power you possess?" Sona asked while Lavenza nodded.

"I see... Very well. I will take it. So, with that out of the way, is there anything else you would like to ask about?" Sona asked.

"One thing, when do you intend to deal with the fallen angels nesting in the Church in 'your area'?" Akira asked while the devils focused on him.

"And how do you know about them?" Rias asked.

"Secret, so, Miss Sitri?" Akira asked.

"We shall take care of it as soon as possible," She replied.

"Good, that's all that I needed to know," Akira replied. "Shall we go, Lavenza?"

"Wait, what about the testing of our powers?" Rias asked.

Lavenza turned towards her, smiled and shook her head. "I will have to decline, that is until you can find a safe place for that to happen. As for now, Miss Sitri, Miss Gremory, if any harm comes to Akira or his friends, I won't hesitate to eradicate you and the rest of your kind," Lavenza said, with a sweet smile, which sent a shiver down the spines of the devils.

"Is that supposed to be a threat?" Sona asked.

"No, it's a warning. Now then, have a nice day," Lavenza said, the two leaving the room.

"What the hell is that girl?" Issei asked, terrified of her, especially after the latest events.

"I don't know, Issei," Rias said, as she looked at the door, the two went through.

"Tsubaki, please see if you can find any similarities between Lavenza and other races in the world, I want to know, how powerful is she," Sona said.

"Understood," Tsubaki said with a bow.

"The same goes to you, Rias. I would advise you stop trying to pester the girl into joining your peerage in the meantime," Sone said.

"Please tell me you are not serious," Rias said, not able to believe her own ears. "She can use magic and can defeat a stray devil by herself. She would make a perfect bishop."

"Perhaps, but until we know how strong she, it would be best not to underestimate her. For all we know, she could be comparable to Ultimate Class devil," Sona pointed out.

"Muu...," Rias pouted. "Alright, fine. Akeno, please help out Tsubaki with that."

"Alright, I shall handle it," Akeno replied, a bit unnerved by the girl herself.

"So, Trickster, how should we handle the devils?" Lavenza asked while the two sat on the rooftop.

"The plans haven't changed, only Rias and Sona know about us, which should be fine for now. We still need to awaken others after all, but we might have to do it all at once, perhaps next week," Akira replied.

"Indeed, but once that happens? Will you let the devils exist as they are?" She inquired.

"No, definitely not. If possible I want to destroy the Evil Piece system for good, that's one of the things I want to do. The other one and more important one, check if it is possible to reverse Evil Pieces effects," He replied.

"It would allow you to save those, who couldn't save themselves," Lavenza said, while Akira nodded.

"Exactly. I still want to stay as far away as I can from Rias and others, but once everything is set, we might have to do something about Rias and other devils. I refuse to live my life knowing that the supernatural world exists and preys on humanity," He replied.

"Very well, I will support you in your endeavour," Lavenza said.

"Thank you, Lavenza, I will be counting on you," He said and patted her on the head.

However, one thing bothered him. Since the devils were now onto them, he had to protect his friends, but how was he supposed to do that, when he couldn't beat Lavenza one on one in a fair fight? Akira pondered about it when suddenly he heard a voice coming from the Sea of Souls.

"Trickster, the power you wield, our power is different than you remember," Satanael said.

"What do you mean by that, Satanael?" He asked.

"During your latest fight with Ruler of Power, you refused to use World Arcana, didn't you? Why?" He asked.

"... Perhaps... I was holding myself back," Akira replied.

"That seems so. You have unlocked our full power against Yaldabaoth and managed to defeat him in a single strike. Where did that power go?" He asked.

"... I actually don't know," He replied.

"It's simple, it didn't go anywhere. You simply refused to acknowledge it," He replied.

"Wait... are you saying that...?" He started.

"You already know the answer, Trickster," He replied and sank back into the Sea of Souls.

Akira stopped for a moment, as he considered what his persona just said and got lost in his thoughts for a moment. He focused on the Sea of Souls, the power he drew from it and there he noticed it, a red spot similar to Fusion Alarm, pulsing, just waiting to be grasped. He reached towards it and grabbed it with his hands. Power rushed through his body, changing him and his ultimate persona, Satanael. His eyes snapped open before a vicious grin appeared on his face.

"Lavenza," Akira started.

"Is there something wrong, Trickster?" She asked.

"When we get home, I want us to fight again, no holding back," He said, the look on his face saying everything he needed to say.

"... I understand," She said.

"So, Trickster, are you ready for another practice?" Lavenza asked.

"Bring it on, Lavenza!" He challenged the girl.

The first persona he equipped was Raoul, who only served to give him increased statistics for the beginning of the fight. Just as expected, Lavenza started off with Dekaja, before casting Heat Riser on herself, boosting her evasion, defence and agility. He immediately switched to Orpheus F Picaro and used Neo Cadenza giving himself Heat Riser, but for longer than the girl.

Normally, that would be the end of his turn. However, the power of the World Arcana empowered him, giving him another action to use as he saw fit. He immediately switched to Sandalphon and used Debilitate on Lavenza removing her buffs.

"You were able to move as often as I did, it seems like your power has evolved yet again," Lavenza commended. "However, I am afraid it is not enough. Concentrate, Megidoloan!"

Just like the last time, the power of the attack left him grievously wounded, but not enough to defeat him. Not with the divine pillar equipped and with the buffs on his side. He followed that by going to Maria and healed himself to full health, but to his surprise, Maria healed him once his other action came. Then he switched to Fafnir, who absorbed or reflected every single type of damage, bar Almighty, before casting concentrate.

Lavenza frowned at that, before casting concentrate on herself and Dekaja on him, thus removing both the advantages on either side. However, it was his turn now and he had just the persona he wanted to try, Satanael. He almost never used the persona, since he found him lacking, especially compared to Izanagi-No-Okami and Myriad Truths. Now though, the persona had a few tricks up his sleeve.

"Tyrant's Will!" Akira called, fully restoring his health and giving himself the effects of Heat Riser. "Sinful Shell!" Lavenza's eyes spread wide open, as the Satanael appeared before them, took aim at her and fired. The girl yelled from pain as the almighty damage wrecked her body, making her gasp in shock. She even got inflicted by a status ailment, which she immediately recovered.

"Heat Riser! Megidoloan!" She countered. However, Satanael was now stronger than ever and with the divine pillar, the attack left him with over half health still remaining. "Incredible..."

Joker grinned, switched to Maria and used Star Onion, one of the vegetables, which Haru was able to grow. It was able to give him concentrate on any persona, which combined with Maria's incredible healing skill, meant that when his second action came. He now had full health. He immediately switched to Sandalphon and cast Debilitate on the girl once again.

"It seems like a change in tactics is required," Lavenza admitted, thrilled by both the combat and the Trickster prowess. First, she used Dekaja and got rid of his buffs, before using Marin Karin on him thus brainwashing him.

However, that's when Instantheal kicked in and the effects were immediately removed. Akira followed it up with yet another Heat Riser, before casting Sinful Shell once again, the girl breathing in and out as she felt the pain surge through her. Lavenza giggled, as she gave him the same psychotic grin, whenever she used an all-out attack on him.

"It seems like, I have underestimated you, Trickster. Let us rectify that," Lavenza said.

She started off with Dekaja and Dekunda, removing his buffs once more. However, when his turn came, he used Debilitate on the girl once again, before going to Fafnir and using Concentrate. Lavenza countered by using Debilitate of her own, followed by Concentrate of her own. Seeing this Akira switched to Orpheus F Picarro, used Neo Cadenza, went back to Satanael before using Sinful Shell once again.

This continued back and forth and it proved to be one of the hardest fights he ever did, coming out at the top after a long gruelling fight, with Lavenza falling to the floor, looking like she had seen better days. Akira felt spent, even with Victory Cry, he felt mentally exhausted after the fight with Lavenza. He simply walked up to the girl, used Salvation from Maria, before offering his hand.

"How are you feeling?" He asked, the girl accepting it.

"Thrilled, exhausted and satisfied, Trickster," Lavenza said as the two returned to their proper reality. "I have to admit, the power you have exhibited, it was different than the last time we fought. Was it perhaps World arcana?"

"Indeed, Satanael has become as strong as he was supposed to be," Akira admitted, as he sat on the couch, Lavenza sitting in his lap.

"If I was one of the devils, I wouldn't wish to be your enemy," Lavenza said with a giggle.

"Yeah, me neither," Akira replied with a chuckle.

Author's Notes:

You know, since it's the final chapter anyway. I am going to explain why I decided to take away Issei's Sacred Gear. The way I see it, there are 3 options:

1. Issei keeps his Sacred Gear, gets his exact same harem pretty much and the story stays pretty much the same. At this point, you might as well read Light Novel instead, if you want to see Issei win every single time. There isn't much you can do to diverge and it's pretty much guaranteed that Issei will get everything he wants through his power of perversion and being a 'nice guy'. Nice guys don't get laid, they get used.

Why does Joker have pretty much all the girls in the game falling for him? It's because he was there for them and saw them as people and friends first. Sure, some may say that Issei does the same, but I doubt most women would be interested in having a conversation with a guy that only stares at their boobs and would adopt a slime, just for its' ability to destroy clothes, where DxD falls short.

2. Issei doesn't exist in this story. So, at this point, you come into the same trap as many naruto and other crossovers did. Which is to say, Issei gets replaced by INSERT A MALE CHARACTER FROM ANY OTHER FRANCHISE, gets reincarnated by Rias and becomes her bitch. Plenty of stories have done that, even if it doesn't make sense. Some could argue, that you could remove Issei and not have the protagonist turned into a devil, but how many stories have actually done that? Even if it does happen, the protagonist ends up helping out devils 24/7 anyway, so what's the bloody point?

3. Leave Issei and his friends be, but take away their plot device, that lets them keep surviving, even if they should have been killed dozens of times over. This is what I intended to do here. Give Issei's Sacred Gear to someone else, like I don't know Kiba, Akeno, Sairog, Freed, anyone really. Then, have Issei remain not relevant. This I imagined as giving the biggest flexibility. Since the protagonists are not reincarnated by Rias, the plot can go wherever. For instance, Issei can't rescue Rias from marriage or fight Kobabiel. Does he die? Does Rias marry Riser and try to break free? Who knows, I sure as hell won't write that.

As for the bashing, how do you NOT bash someone as repulsive as Issei? It's not even a matter of me as the author, with morals being completely different from the pervert. Take Joker from Persona 5. He is a bit of a troll, calm on the inside, but as a Phantom Thief? He goes nuts. However, he has got morals of his own and in most play through he often ends up with one girl only. He doesn't grab their tits, exploit them, try to make them strip for him, ogle them at every opportunity. We are talking about a person that is in direct opposite of what Issei is and who he would despise, especially if Issei did as he did in my story, aka be a perverted idiot he is, who tries to peep on every single girl in the school, including Joker's friends.

At that point, it's a lose-lose-lose situation. You can't win, the only way to win is not to play, aka not to write a crossover of DxD and something else.
