RWBY Reacts to Yu-Gi-Oh 5d's Dubbed
Introduction
*(Disclaimer : I do not own RWBY or YU-Gi-Oh 5d's.)
All members of team RWBY were currently sleeping soundly in their beds. The Vytal Festival was only a week away so they had spent the entire day training. Course they knew they needed to make sure they were all well rested for the tournament. Well… most of them at least. Yang wanted to spend the night going to some clubs but the others shot down that idea much to her annoyance. It's not like she didn't understand though. She really wants her team to win as well and if all it takes is make sure they go to bed on time and rest well then sure, she's willing to give her nightlife a break.
Little did they know, none of them would be getting much sleep tonight.
It was a stormy night with rain pouring down as far as the eye could see. Suddenly, a strong wind caused the room's window to open at the same time as a powerful lightning-strike struck down on the ground.
"AAAH!" Ruby shot wide awake with Zwei in her arms, holding the dog as if he were a plushy, followed quickly by the rest of her teammates.
"Oh for the love of-" Weiss turned the lights on and was not happy at her beauty-sleep being disturbed. "Don't tell me you forgot to close the window again Yang!"
Yang jumped out of her bed and quickly closed the window. "Hey don't go blaming this on me! I'm positive I closed the window just before going to sleep!"
"She's right." Blake confirmed.
"See?" Yang asked smugly.
"Because I reminded her to close it." Blake commented causing Yang to shot her a dirty gaze.
"Well it's fixed now." Ruby said trying to restore the peace. "So can we all just go to sleep again please? We have to get up early tomorrow for our training."
"Don't you think we've trained enough yet?" Yang asked as she went back to her bed. "The Vytal Festival could be tomorrow and we'd be in top-condition to compete. Besides, it's weekend tomorrow! Do we really have to get up early just to train?"
"You can never be too well-prepared." Weiss stated. "We'll be competing against student huntresses and huntsman from all over Remnant, and if you believe for even a second that those guys aren't training nearly as hard as we are then you're wrong."
"Yeah you'd know, wouldn't you ice-queen?" Yang said with a smirk and Weiss grunted at the nickname. "How many teams have you spied on today? Three? Five?"
"It's not spying!" She quickly defended herself. "It's called information gathering. What? You think the other teams aren't gathering information about us?"
"Considering I have yet to see anyone spy on us during our training-sessions, I'd have to say no." Yang pointed out as Weiss frowned at the blonde.
"Can you two argue about this tomorrow?" Blake asked as she let out a tired gasp. "It was a long day and I'd much rather go to sleep then continue arguing."
"On that we can agree." Weiss stated as she turned to light back off. "I hope this storm will be over soon though. The news said it would stop around midnight and it's currently 1 AM!"
"The weather can be a bit difficult to predict." Blake stated. "Even with the technology we have available today."
"I hope the lightning stops soon too." Ruby commented. "It sounds a little too close for comfort."
"It will properly be over soon." Yang said to try and calm Ruby down. She knew her sister wasn't a big fan of storms. "And besides, it's not that ba-"
Before Yang could finish her sentence, another lightning-strike struck down from the heavens only this time it was colored red, which caused the four girls and dog to stare outside.
"…Uhm, since when is lightning red?" Yang couldn't help but ask before the window was once again blown open by the raging wind.
"YANG!" Weiss shouted through the hard wind. "I THOUGHT YOU CLOSED THIS THING!"
"I DID!" Yang shouted back as the wind seemed to calm down. "You just saw me close it!"
"Well obviously you didn't close it good enough." Weiss said in frustration as she went to the window to close it proper.
"Maybe the lock on the window broke?" Ruby wondered holding onto Zwei once more but the dog seemed unbothered.
Weiss stood by the window and started closing it. "I doubt some wind's enough to brea-"
Suddenly, the wind picked up again and threw the window into the face of the heiress.
"Ouch!" She yelled and Yang couldn't help but snicker at her misfortune. She quickly stopped however when suddenly red lightning struck through the window and hit the floor, causing a small fire.
"Oh my gosh!" Ruby quickly left Zwei alone on the bed and with her semblance speeded to the bathroom. She somehow managed to get a full bucket of water within 5 seconds and quickly threw it on the fire. The fire became extinguished and Ruby let out a sigh of relief.
"…Did our room just got struck by lightning?" Yang asked still shocked about what just happened.
"My nose!" Weiss still had her hands over her face as her nose hurt like hell. It opened so suddenly that she didn't have enough time to protect herself with her aura. "That hurt!"
"Forget about your nose for a second." Yang jumped out of her bed to make sure the fire wasn't gonna start up again.
"Is the fire out?" Blake came out of her bed as well.
"Looks like it." Yang stated. "You know, we've gone through some pretty crazy things this year, but how big is the chance that lightning would strike down in our room like this?"
"Not big." Blake answered.
Weiss took her hands off her face and looked down on the floor. "Great, now we need to buy a new carpet."
Yang looked a little better at the burned carpet and said. "Hey? Doesn't this burn kind of look like a giant S?"
"Now that you mention it…" Ruby stared at the S and was officially freaked out. "T-that doesn't look like a normal burn-mark…"
"Oh calm down Ruby." Weiss said. "It's just a funny looking burn-mark. Nothing to be worried abo-"
Suddenly the window behind them closed on its own causing the four of them to turn to the window. Not soon after, the carpet started burning again. The four looked down at the fire and Ruby speeded back to the bathroom but couldn't open it for some reason.
"Ruby you dolt!" Weiss shouted not wanting the entire room to catch fire. "Get some water already!"
"I can't!" Ruby shouted back. "The bathroom's closed!"
"What do mean closed?!" Weiss yelled as the fire on the carpet started getting bigger and bigger.
"Maybe we can blow it out." Yang figured as she quickly picked up some schoolbooks to try and fan out the fire but was stopped by Blake.
"That won't work!" She shouted at the blond brawler. "Wind will only make the fire spread faster."
"Well what else are we supposed to do?!" Yang asked as she too was starting to panic. She was more than confident they could get out of the room before the fire became too serious but would rather not see all of her clothes turned to ash.
"I'll go get help." Blake said as she went to the door but couldn't open it. "What the-, this door's locked too!"
"So is the window!" Weiss shouted. "What on Remnant is going on here?!"
"Uhm, guys?" Ruby pointed to the fire once more and the fire seemed to calm down as it was now burning in an S shape. Then all of a sudden, the fire exploded and smoke filled the room. Everyone coughed as the smoke slowly vanished.
"Ah made it!" A new voice said. "I had no idea dimensional takeovers could be so hazardous. Note to self, thank Wade for his clear instructions."
"WHO'S THERE?!" Weiss shouted as everyone was on guard for the owner of the new voice.
"Wait wha-" The figure said as the smoke vanished completely. In the place where the fire started, stood a man wearing a black-coat whose face was shrouded in darkness. He looked around the room and saw the members of team RWBY in their pajama's staring at him.
"…DAMMIT WADE!" The stranger shouted in frustration. "You assured me I wouldn't end up in the wrong world, well guess what, I ENDED UP IN THE WRONG WORLD!"
Ignoring what the stranger just shouted, Weiss yelled at the intruder again. "WHO ARE YOU?! AND WHY ARE YOU IN OUR ROOM?!"
Letting out a sigh of frustration, the intruder turned to Weiss. "Apologies for barging in like this. My name is Saixus and it appears I'm in the wrong place."
"You bet you are!" Yang had her fist pointed at the guy ready to strike. "What do you want from us?!"
"You with the White Fang?" Blake asked as she too seemed ready to attack. "Or Torchwick?"
Saixus put his hands behind his back and said "To answer your questions in order, I don't want anything from you as I am at the wrong place, I'm not a terrorist nor am I a criminal."
"You just broke into our room!" Weiss shouted at the intruder.
"Not on purpose!" Saixus shouted back. "As I already stated, I was trying to get somewhere else but thanks to a certain someone's instructions, I ended up in the wrong place!"
Ruby, being the innocent soul she was thought the faceless man was sincere and asked. "Then where were you trying to go?"
"I was traveling through the media-stream in hopes of going to the Yu-Gi-Oh 5d's universe and spend the night bay-watching the past of that world alongside some of its inhabitants."
"…Huh?" was the current expression on all the girls faces.
"(Sigh) This is gonna be a nightmare to explain…" Saixus stated as he rubbed his head. "Look, I'm… a unique kind of person-"
"You don't say?" Was Weiss sarcastic remark as she had already concluded they were dealing with a crazy person.
Saixus didn't appreciate the interruption but continued. "I have the power to move between universes freely as well as manipulate my immediate surroundings."
"Travel between universes?" Blake asked with a hint of skepticism. "Are you saying you're from another world?"
"Yes!" The being said happy they were starting to get it. "I come from a world were a lot of other words exist in the form of stories, cartoons, comics, anime… you name it. I was a little bored back home, so I figured I could marathon one of my favorite series and then made the spontaneous decision to actually go to that series universe and go through this marathon along with the characters from the show. I don't have a lot of experience when it comes to world-hopping, so I asked an expert for directions. However, as a result of that guys bad directions, I ended up in the wrong universe. Any questions?"
"…Are you high?" Yang couldn't help but ask.
Weiss worded Yang's response differently. "That's the most absurd thing I've ever heard!"
"Well he did appear out of nowhere…" Ruby pointed out.
"He probably just has a teleportation-semblance or something." Weiss dismissed.
"It does sound unlikely…" Blake said.
Saixus wasn't surprised by their reactions and since he had to wait awhile before he could jump to another world again, he decided to alter his plans a little. "Alright you none-believers. If I'm not an all-powerful being from another universe, then how can I do this?"
With a snap of his fingers a bright light blinded the four huntresses in training. When it fades, a large television stood in front of the door to the room. In front of that TV stood a modern couch big enough for 4 people and on the right side of that couch stood a smaller couch only fit for one person that Saixus was already sitting on. The four huntresses were also suddenly no longer wearing their pajama's, but their combat outfits.
"What the-?" Ruby was the first to speak up. "Where did all this stuff come from?"
"Hm, that's a pretty sweet TV." Yang commented as she looked at the device in question.
"That couch looks comfortable." Blake couldn't help but say.
"Who cares about all that you dolts!" Weiss shouted not believing her partners attention spans. "Why are we wearing our combat outfits?!"
"I figured you'd be more comfortable wearing that then your pajama's while watching the show." Saixus explained. "See, it's gonna take some time before I can leave this world and since I've already postponed this marathon long enough, I'm just going to watch it right here and now."
"You are NOT going to watch some stupid show in OUR room!" Weiss stated. "Isn't that right girls?"
"I don't know…" Ruby was a little bit curious about the show Saixus wanted to watch. "Maybe we could, you know, let him stay and see if this show is any good?"
Weiss stared at her leader in disbelief before realizing that this was Ruby she was talking too. "Ruby, we can't marathon an entire show in the middle of the night. We have to get up early. Not to mention our neighbors on this floor won't be too happy about all the noise."
"I've already made the room completely soundproof." Saixus stated. "All the doors are locked and I'm blocking all wireless communications so you can't tell anyone I'm here since people like myself have to travel with a low profile… or at least try to."
Weiss turned her stare back on in the intruder. "Wait so you trapped us in our own room?!"
"Yep." Saixus answered. "Now you girls have two choices. You can either watch this show with me or you can go back to bed. I won't turn down the television though sooooo good luck sleeping through that."
"Look mister Saixus." Weiss tried saying friendly but even a blind/deaf-person could feel her frustration. "As I said before, none of us are interested in-"
Weiss blinked as she saw Ruby, Blake and Yang already sitting on the cough.
"So is this gonna be a good show?" Ruby asked.
"Well it has been a while since I've seen it but it was one of my personal favorites when I was younger."
"Is there gonna be some romance in this show?" Blake asked.
"A little bit…" Saixus answered.
"Is there gonna be a lot of action in this show?" Yang asked hoping it wasn't too boring.
"Oh most definitely." Saixus quickly answered.
Weiss let out a frustrated sigh at the absurdity that was happening around her. She looked down on the others and asked "Are you guys seriously gonna trust the crazy person who broke into our room in the middle of the night and basically locked us up?!"
"I think he's already proven he is what he says he is." Blake stated while trying to get comfortable.
"Yeah how else can you explain that there's a massive TV and couches all of a sudden and why we're wearing our combat clothes?" Yang said while gesturing to her outfit. "Besides, we can sleep as late as we want tomorrow. So what if we skip one day of training? I'd say we have some fun for a change."
"Sorry Weiss." Ruby said eagerly. "You've been outvoted."
Weiss held her head down and rubbed it thinking she should just go to bed and let the others watch the stupid show. She quickly realized however that there was no way she was ever gonna get any sleep with the loud and bright TV in the room, so reluctantly she sat herself on the cough sitting right between Ruby and Blake.
"Hey can we get some snacks first?" Yang asked as she was sitting the closed to Saixus.
"Sure." Saixus stated as he once again snapped his fingers and now everyone had their own back of popcorn. "Now are there any question before we get this show on the road?"
Ruby quickly raised her hand. "Oh, oh, I have question!"
"Go ahead." Saixus stated.
"What are we gonna watch exactly?"
The TV started up and the first images the girls saw was that of a major skyscraper in the middle of a city.
Saixus smirked at the youngest of the girls. "You're about to find out."
Sub viewers. MasterSaixus here bringing you my newest fanfiction, RWBY Reacts to Yu-Gi-Oh 5d's Dubbed! I've seen a lot of fanfictions that has the cast of RWBY react to different shows and such so I figured I would try something similar. I decided to have them react to Yu-Gi-Oh 5d's since for one that's one of the few things I haven't seen them react to yet, and two because it's one of my favorite series.
For those of you reading my other fanfic don't worry. I'm not planning on abandoning it but this idea has plagued my head for a while and I really wanted to give it a try.
Hope you all enjoyed the introduction. MasterSaixus signing off.
