Hi this is my first story so please no hate, anyways this is a fanfic about Rapunzel and Eugene and it takes place 7 years after the finale of tangled the series and tangled ever after, and it basically follows their lives since then. I don't know how long these will be but I'll probably right a few. Anyways I hope you enjoy!

Chapter 1

It was a cool July afternoon when six year old Liana, Rapunzel and Eugenes oldest daughter came running into her fathers study. "Daddy Daddy, look at what mommy did to my hair!" She exclaimed twirling around to show her father the braid her mom had just finished.

Liana had long brown hair with blonde highlights which her parents couldn't explain as they both had dark brown hair. "Very pretty Liana." Eugene said smiling as he watched his daughter spin like Rapunzel had when those girls from the town put her hair in a long braid decorated with flowers.

"Careful sweetheart." Rapunzel said walking in. She had their 3 year old son Flynn attached to her hip and a very visable baby bump under her dress. "Keep spinning and the braid will fall out." She said giggling at her daughter who was about to fall over from dizziness.

Eugene got up from his chair and walked over to Rapunzel, he laid a kiss on her cheek at the same time taking his son and putting him down. "So how was mom duty today." He said helping Rapunzel sit down.

"Oh you know dealing with a rambunctious six and three year old while pregnant is a little hard but nothing compared to fighting off a ancient evil warlock." She said smiling at Eugene who was watching their kids play on the floor.

He turned back to her but quickly jumped up and scurried to his desk. He started flipping through papers and royal guard application forms. Rapunzel looked at him confused as her husband made a mess on his desk, "what on earth are you doing?" She said staring at him confused.

"Here it is!" He yelled startling both Rapunzel and the children. "Well what is it?" Rapunzel asked again, "yeah daddy." Liana chimed in. Eugene gave a confident smile and proudly said "why this is a letter from Aunt Cass."

Rapunzel's eyes lit up, "wait really!" She said trying her best to quickly stand up and read the letter. "Yep." Eugene said "and it has some very fun news in it." He said grabbing his son before he knocked over a plant on Eugenes desk. "AHHHHHHH" Rapunzel screamed filled with giddiness, "shes coming to vist!" A smile beamed across Rapunzel face as she walked announcing all the things she had to do to prep for Cass's arrival.

Liana frowned she had heard story's about her aunt cass but her daddy always made sure to never shy away from some of the not so good things she had done well at least until her mom caught him.

Still she had never met her aunt except for one time the day she was born but of course Liana didn't remember that. "What's wrong Li?" Eugene asked looking at his daughters long face. "Did Flynn mess up your braid?" Flynn was playing with some of his dads medals but quickly ran away when he heard his name associated with something bad.

"No, my braid is fine." Liana said slumped down in the corner, "then why the long face?" He asked again scooping his daughter up in his arms. "What if aunt cass doesn't like me?" Liana mumbled.

Eugene looked down at his daughter confused "why on earth do you think aunt cass wouldn't like you?" "Because" his daughter started "she doesn't know me." Liana said nervously looking up at her dad.

Eugene smiled at his daughter who looked exactly like him except she was a girl, she even got his beautiful and perfect nose. Liana and him and been extremely close since the day she was born he didn't know why but Liana had always preferred her dad when she was a baby, even now at six she was still close with him.

Eugene enjoyed taking her to help him train the guards and she loved putting the guards in their place plus she would get to sit with her dad and ride around on Maximus as the guards did drills.

Even when their son Flynn came Liana would stay stuck to his side. Liana was tough as well she could fall off a horse and wouldn't cry so when she did get upset it broke Eugenes heart.

"I promise you Li with all my heart aunt cass loves you." He smiles and hugged his daughter close. She smiled as nothing could beat her fathers bear hugs. "Now how bout we go find your brother before he breaks something." Eugene said tapping his daughter on the nose. Liana laughed and went off to find her brother.

Flynn had unfortunately already been found trying to sneak a cookie out of the kitchen but had been caught by one of the place chefs.

Rapunzel and Eugene always planned on naming their first son Flynn but didn't realize that the name for some reason would make their son very mischievous.

In his defense it didn't help that his uncle lance told him story's about when his dad and him were thieves. "Flynn Zachary Fitzherbert!" Rapunzel scolded "how many times have I said no cookies until after dinner?"

Flynn looked up at his mom who's mood had clearly switched since just a couple seconds ago she was glowing with happiness. "Sorry mommy." Flynn said on the verge of tears as his mother had never yelled at him before. Rapunzel looked down at her son and started apologizing profusely.

Eugene and Liana walked in and stared as Flynn sat on the ground crying while his mother cried with him apologizing. Eugene hurried over and picked Rapunzel as Liana went over to her brother and started playing with him.

Rapunzel sniffled and wipped the tears off her face. "Sorry." She said "guess I'm just a little emotional." Rapunzels pregnancy's were no where close easy to navigate her emotins were all over the place and she craved the weirdest things plus for some reason she always super cold when pregnant which made sharing a bed with her pretty hard as she was constantly was stealing blankets off of Eugene.

"It's ok Blondie." Eugene said patting her back. Yes Rapunzel no longer had blonde hair but after calling her that for so long it was hard to call her anything else.

Soon Rapunzels new lady in waiting came walking in, she wasn't anything like Cass but Rapunzel learned to deal with it. "Your parents have requested you and your family for dinner your highness." That was another thing this lady in waiting never called her Rapunzel it was always only your highness or majesty. The only time she did was to call her princess Rapunzel.

"I'll be right down Julia." Rapunzel her back to the door so she couldn't see she was crying. If there was one thing that stayed the same it was that Julia hated Eugene, and wasn't playful either Julia since day one had tried to get Eugene kicked out of the castle. Of course when he became captain of the guard she gave up but still never let him live down that he was a lowly theif.
