Death.

The pungent smell of rotten flesh and the wild dance of flames was all that was around her.

She could still remember everything, to such levels that she could vow they were burning in front of her again. Their helpless cries, their tearful faces, and their burning skin, her mind could never forget that event.

They were pure, just like her and her uncountable brothers and sisters. Then why were they killed so cruelly? Why did they have to suffer a fate that horrible? As far as she could remember Love was not a sin, it never was, still isn't and hopefully will never be. Then why were they murdered? They just loved each other, pure and innocent love was all they felt for themselves. Yet the so-called bearer of Justice showed no mercy on them.

Her little brother, her innocent and lovely brother fell from the skies because of his one small mistake. He renounced his heart to another innocent being. She never cared about what she was, for her, she was her little brother's life and so she accepted her without any questions.

But the people above in the skies contended their love as treacherous. In a single day, she lost both of them. Her little brother and his wife were burned in front of her eyes. They cried, they begged for mercy but no one aided them. For them, they were nothing more than a Fallen angel and Succubus, but for her, they were her everything.

She could also remember how much she pleaded to the being who was the reason behind all of it, but the Justice in physical form ignored her pleas and watched everything unfold with mirth in his eyes.

Rage.

It was the first time she felt that emotion as it ran through her body and she wouldn't lie, it was amazing. It was like she finally found the answer to all of her questions. The anger led her through everything. Every obstacle that dared to stop her was ravaged by the fury of her anger. One, two, three, and so on, she put an end to all of them in order to reach the final monster.

Satisfaction.

She finally found a semblance of satisfaction. The anger which led her through most of the hard times in the past slowly began to fade after she finally saw the bloodied face of that man. Satisfaction overcame the anger as the realization that she had finally avenged her brother began to settle down in her heart.

Sadness.

The sense of satisfaction didn't stay for long. It was momentarily there and soon left her with feelings of loneliness and grief. There was no reason for her to exist anymore. Her father, her brother and her sister were dead, and so was she.

Imitation.

In order to overcome the unbearable sadness, she finally decided to relinquish herself in an act. Forgetting everything about herself, she tailored her heart and mind to portray her little brother. Her tainted body was hers but her mind and heart were as innocent as her brothers now.

"Gabriel" Azazel's soft voice snapped her out of her thoughts. Looking around the graveyard she realized that it was evening already and that she had gotten lost in the memories of that dreadful day once again. It had been several thousand years since that tragedy happened but the years never lessened the pain.

Opening her eyes, she gently wiped away the tears from them. "Brother" she whispered.

The dead tone of his sister damaged his heart in ways he couldn't explain. Ever since that fateful day, he had never seen her laugh or even flash a genuine smile at someone. It was like she was an actor of some sort who was living a fictitious life for the sake of a place called heaven. A place that was full of hypocrites. A place that took away his sweet and innocent sister from him. "You have to move on, Gabriel. If he was alive, he would have never wanted to see you cry like this" The ground was cold and hard, he felt as he slowly settled himself beside his sister who was still crying restlessly.

"But I miss them both so much. They were my everything" Another fit of cries shook her body as some sweet and sour remembrances of her brother began to play in her mind.

'Oii meanie! Leave me alone' The heartwarming voice of her little brother entered her ears. 'You don't have to worry about those devils, sister. I'm always here for you, hehe' Her shoulders began to tremble. 'Oii look here' Without wasting any time she turned her head towards the grave and gasped when she saw a smiling blonde boy sitting beneath the shadow of a tree. He was smiling at her and for some reason, her lips curved up on their own.

'Why are you crying?!' He asked her.

"I don't know"

The smile on her lips stretched out a little more when the boy blinked at her, indicating that he was confused by her answer. 'You still haven't changed sister' he mumbled softly before smiling at her once again. 'Anyways meet Maria' just as he finished his words, a beautiful girl emerged from behind the tree.

'H-Hello sister Gabriel' she whispered, stuttering between her words because of anticipation and fear.

Tears began to swell up in her eyes once again but this time before they could fall, Gabriel brushed them away. "H-Hello Maria" her own voice was breaking down because of the sheer amount of sadness and regret which were raging inside her. This girl who was standing in front of her was so innocent that even a blind being could tell she hardly possesses any threat.

Her eyes traveled back to the boy who was looking back and forth in order to gauge their reactions. 'Maria' he said as he placed a hand on the girl's shoulder. 'You don't have to worry about my sister. She may be super powerful but she will never harm you. Instead, I'm sure she will always try her best to protect you, right sister?!' He glanced back at her.

"Y-" Gabriel looked away from the duo. It was getting hard by each passing second. The looks of adoration and respect in their eyes were killing her from the inside.

'Oii meanie, at least answer mee-AAHHH'.

Her eyes snapped open as the screams of the boy and girl reached her ears. Clenching her hands, she began to shiver. 'Don't look there' she whispered. No matter what she would not look in that direction. Fate had already made her suffer enough.

'Sister Gabriel. I'm innocent. I didn't do anything. Please help!'.

Yet like the pathetic being she was, she couldn't control herself and her eyes finally veered over to their direction. "No" Guilt and tears began to rise again as she watched the scene in front of her.

The boy and the girl were trembling and crying in the middle of the storm of fire and holy light. Both of them were pleading to the people outside and were trying their best to hold on to each other amidst the punishment.

Suffering for a few more seconds, they both finally looked at her, making her gasp. Their eyes that were full of life a few moments ago were now vacant of everything. There was nothing in them. Not even resentment for her.

'Sister' Tears finally fell from her eyes when they both smiled at her and vanished in the air, leaving behind a trail of beautiful petals that slowly settled down on their graves.

She was brought out of her thoughts by a cold hand on her shoulder. "Gabriel" Her brother's helplessness to aid her was obvious in his tone.

"Brother" Turning to her side, she immediately clung to his arm and began to cry harder. If there was anyone who could understand her pain in this world then it was her brother Azazel. "Why didn't I fall too?!" Her weeping increased.

Amid the tears, Gabriel once again felt pure rage as she thought about what happened. The amount of rage she felt would make even Satan proud, rage that would make any other angel instantly fall. '"Protectors of the Innocent", bah!' She ranted in her mind. 'What a literal bunch of dragonshit! Those fucking hypocrites don't do anything except sit there and look all wise and pretty!'

Azazel went speechless for a while. The question of her sister was one that he had been trying to find an answer to ever since he found out about her darkest secret. If the system of heaven never makes any mistake then why didn't Gabriel fall after executing that murderer? There was no denying it, on that critical day she committed an unpardonable sin, yet nothing happened to her. When he got to know about it from her, he was both pleased and angry. Pleased because his innocent and kind sister was exempted from living a cruel life as a fallen angel, while angry because that system which had pardoned her from the punishment never showed mercy on other innocent angels. Thousands and he literally meant thousands of angels were exiled from the heavens because of some minor mistake yet one of the most powerful and important angels who exterminated another important angel was let off without any punishment at all. "I don't know Gabriel. I never understood why that system is so biased sometimes" he finally spoke after a while, his face as miserable as it could be.

Gabriel, who was still clinging to his arm for her dear life, lowered her head in sadness as the tears began to dry out on her soft cheeks, leaving trails of marks behind on them. "This world isn't for us, brother" in a faint tone she spoke about her suffering. "We both can't have what we desire here. I can't have them back while you can't have a family" it hurt her a lot to remind her brother of his disability but no matter what they do, they can't change the truth.

Azazel looked away as tears began to form in his own eyes. The words of his sister yet again reminded him of a thing he could never have. A thing for which he wasted his whole life. A thing which was the reason as to why he fell from heaven. A thing which was snatched away from him during the war. "A desire to have a child of my own" It started with one but soon more tears joined the downpour originating from his eyes.

"Now you don't start crying too, brother"

"B-but I accepted every punishment for it, Gabriel and in the end, I couldn't even have it"

Gabriel wiped away her own tears first. "You have that boy Vali right?" She whispered.

Azazel shook his head slowly with a sad smile on his face. "He only thinks of me as a stepping stone. For him, I'm nothing more than a hindrance" Each and every word of his was accompanied by a fresh tear.

"Ohh" It was unfortunate, she thought. "As long as we are in this world, we are doomed to suffer the pain, brother. Heaven will always remind me of what I have lost in the past while this world and the remnants of the war are going to haunt you for eternity" Plucking two small yellow flowers from the grass covered soil, she gently placed them on the graves of her loved ones. "Michael must be searching for me now" she murmured and shortly stood up from the cold ground.

"Goodbye Gabriel, I hope you will visit me soon" Azazel didn't even look at her. He was finding it hard to show his tears to his sister. Each and every word she just spoke was absolutely true. They both are going to suffer in this world for eternity. "I hope you find someone who can make you laugh again" His heart at least wanted to see her smile again. Not these fake ones she puts up around everyone, but a big genuine smile like she used to before her little brother died.

A small smile tugged her lips. "I hope the same for you"

He didn't answer because he knew her smile was fake as always.

"Goodbye bro-"

Azazel instantly looked up when she unexpectedly stopped between her words. "Gabriel" his eyes grew wide in surprise when a beam of light engulfed his sister. Worried about a possible attack on her, he lunged at her and grabbed her hand to pull her out of the light. "Huh," he gasped when he noted that no matter how hard he struggles, he couldn't pull her out of the light. It was like an invisible but powerful force was pulling her away from him.

"Brother!" He heard her scream but before he could even know what was happening, another beam of light descended down from the sky and engulfed him.

It didn't take long for the beams of light to disappear with the siblings and all that was left behind were the colorful flowers on the graves of the two lovers, along with a small ball of light that quickly dissipated into nothingness.

-oOo-

"Shinra Tensei!"

A powerful invisible force collided with the ground and soon chaos took over everything in the region.

Trees and rock which were appearing as immovable a second ago were now flying in a cloud of dust and debris like a small feather, while the place where the collision took place was replaced by a deep and wide crater, looking like a scar on the beautiful ground.

"Huh," Purple eyes blinked at the total destruction their owner caused to the place by just a single push of chakra in them. It was both amazing and terrifying at the same time. "Now I know why Nagato was so powerful" Naruto mumbled to himself, recalling the amount of destruction that man had inflicted upon the place known as Konoha. If just a minor amount of chakra could do what he had just done, then he could only imagine the calamity he could bring about by channeling more chakra to these Godly eyes.

"Banshō Ten'in"

A lone whisper left his mouth and much to his own surprise, all the debris, and smoke that was surrounding the area in front of him began to amass into a giant orb of rocks and wood.

"Chibaku Tensei?" He could vaguely remember the powerful technique Nagato had used to restrain the Kyūbi. It was extraordinary, he wouldn't lie and now seeing a smaller copy of the technique was even more interesting. It was like he was trying to create the technique by combining two other powerful skills.

"Now moving to the flying part" A grin materialized on his face at the mention of flying. Flicking his fingers he let the huge orb descend in the crater. His feet stumbled a bit when the impact of the collision shook the ground but a bit of chakra to his feet was enough to standstill. "Hmm, let's get going" he spoke and gently closed his eyes to focus on the task of levitating. It was hard and he still had little to no experience with it. Even though he could levitate for a while but after that, it became physically impossible for him to carry on.

For a while, he kept meditating while channeling a minor amount of chakra into his eyes at regular intervals. Soon he began to notice the changes as the pressure of gravity disappeared from around his body. Inch by inch his feet started to glide in the air and before he could even notice, he was already above the trees and surrounding tall objects.

"Woah" no matter how many times he uses this power, it always amazes him how a pair of eyes could let you glide in the air without any restrictions. For him, these eyes were like a key to freedom. Freedom from the limitations of the human body, freedom from the shackles of the society, and most importantly, freedom from this world itself. Above here, he could do whatever he wants without being judged by the people. No one could do anything to him here. "I'm free-" his shout abruptly came to a halt when the pressure of gravity returned with all its glory and pummeled him to the ground harshly.

"Oww oww" his groans did nothing to lessen the pain that was surging through his body. It was horrible, even more than what he usually used to deal with when he was with Sakura. 'Sakura' Even in the pain a small smile tugged his lips at the mention of the pink haired beauty. She must be so worried about him right now but sadly he can't even send any message to her because he knows she would try her best to find him then.

"She was a nice friend" and he was not joking. Stubborn and idiotic as she might be, but she did try her best to help him when he was most vulnerable. From making food for him to helping him move to the outskirts of the village, she never complained about anything. "Her food was horrible though" a genuine laugh escaped his lips. Just like her chest, her food was as flat in taste as it could get.

"I hope she is fine"

--oOo--

"Sakura"

"Sakura"

"SAKURA!"

A gasp of surprise left the mouth of a stunned Sakura. "Kakashi sensei" she whispered and turned her head around to greet her teacher who was sitting on the perch of her room's window.

Kakashi frowned at the lack of enthusiasm in her tone. She was not the same Sakura he used to meet daily a few weeks ago. That Sakura was full of life and happiness but the Sakura in front of him right now was nothing but a shell of her former self. It hurt him a lot to see her in this state but all he could do at the moment was smile and encourage her. "You need to join the hospital again, Sakura. The staff there are missing you" he smiled at her but that smile didn't last long.

"Why?" She whispered. "Why should I join that hospital again?" Her voice began to rise as the anger inside her finally showed itself on her face. "These people don't deserve anything!" Kakashi stumbled back in surprise when his student abruptly punched the wall beside the window, breaking it in the process.

"Sakura stop acting like a stupid child" His arguments fell short in front of her anger as she kept glaring at him. "Try to control yourself, if Naruto was here-" he immediately stopped. It was bad, he finally concluded. He shouldn't have mentioned his name at all.

Hollow laughs filled the room with sadness and hatred. "That's the problem, sensei!" Her cold and gloomy words tingled his back like sharp ice needles. They held nothing in them. No sadness, no anger, no fondness, literally nothing. It was like her soul had left her body. "Naruto is not here. With him gone, now there is no one who can cheer me up. My both teammates left this forsaken village and I, like an idiot, is still waiting for those two to show up" liquid brimmed in her eyes as the smiling face of her teammate flickered before them. He was smiling like an idiot as usual and was calling her out.

'Sakura! Want to go out on a date with me?'

A sniffle left her as numerous memories of him asking her out began to swarm her mind. He always wanted to go on a date with her but she never accepted his offer. To her, he was just a hopeless idiot who wanted nothing more than a kiss from her.

She was lost in the thoughts of Sasuke so much, she never managed to see the real Naruto hiding behind that mask of happiness. The real Naruto never wanted to go out on a date with her. All he ever wanted was to have someone who could eat Ramen with him without getting infuriated by his presence. "He never had any friends, did he?" She asked her teacher who immediately looked away from her to evade the question but Sakura already got the answer from his silence.

"That's why he left the village for those two. Those two were the first people around his age who befriended him without questioning about his status" she stated in a monotone.

"That's not true-"

"You don't have any right to say anything. Go, serve your Hokage, sensei"

--oOo--

Naruto didn't know how to feel. Should he feel proud that he had finally mastered an element in a week or should he feel ashamed because he had to use a trick to achieve it? The shadow clones were not something that one could use as adeptly as him without even feeling tired. It was only because of the huge chakra reserves he was able to achieve this feat.

What if he didn't have these reserves? Would he have been able to do anything at all? He frowned because the answer was as clear as the sky above.

No.

Without his reserves he was nothing. All of his jutsu needs a huge amount of chakra, so if he didn't have large reservoirs, he was basically useless. His rival, on the other hand, was still a very talented shinobi even after having reserves as limited as a genin.

"I'm powerful only because of the monster inside me" he whispered, rubbing the seal on his abdomen gently as he spoke. There was no denying it, this monster inside him was the reason he was still alive in the first place. "I should be ashamed of myself" his eyes lowered to the ground as he clenched his hands in frustration.

"Heh!" His whole body tensed when a very familiar voice echoed inside his mind. "Pathetic" Like a precisely edged out needle, the single word of the monster impaled his heart with its arrogance.

Naruto fell down to the ground as the pungent chakra of the Bijū began to surge through his coils. He had experienced the reactions of this chakra before but for some reason this time it was more painful.

"AHHH!" his screams of agony flooded the whole area around him. Birds and insects began to fly back and forth between the trees and small bushes in order to protect themselves from the possible threat.

"Do you really think that Uchiha is skilled because of his raw talent?" The deep and sonorous voice of the fox brought him back to his senses.

His body which was burning ferociously a second ago suddenly went as cold as ice. "Huh?" He blinked at the odd question. Was Sasuke not talented because he trained hard for it?

"No, an Uchiha can not be skilled from the start. It's those red eyes of them which makes them feel superior over others, you insolent fool" The amount of resentment the Fox held for the whole Clan was palpable in its tone.

"What do you mean?"

The burning returned and it was even more vicious than before. "Sharingan!" Naruto winced at the hate that flooded his mind at the mention of those eyes. "You are a fool to think that you can't do anything without your large reservoirs. Tell me Uzumaki, have you ever seen a powerful Uchiha without Sharingan?" The monster's question left him speechless.

"N-No" he mumbled while his mind was still trying to think of a powerful Uchiha who didn't possess Sharingan.

"You have your answer, Uzumaki. Now don't ever compare yourself to an Uchiha again, because if there is someone who I hate more than a spineless host, then it is an Uchiha" with that said, the burning ceased.

Naruto gasped. "W-what?!" He fell back on the ground. Whatever that Fox was doing was very effective. During their whole conversation, there was not a single moment where he found himself free from the allure of that Biju. It was as if the monster was using some kind of spells to draw in his attention. "Why are you talking to me all of a sudden?" In a hope that the Fox would answer him again, Naruto mumbled quietly.

Unfortunately, the monster didn't answer him this time.

"Oii" He tried again but the result was the same.

"Hello?"

"Fox?"

"Kyuubi?"

Finally, after getting ignored numerous times, Naruto decided to leave the fox alone. If the monster didn't want to talk then he wouldn't force it either. However, he noticed that during his chat, he actually never felt any hatred, malice, or even the slightest amount of killing intent directed towards him. He only felt annoyance and… Concern with a slight hint of fondness? He shook his head at those last two feelings, knowing that he must be wrong. He was absolutely certain that the furball would never be concerned about him, nor would it hold even the smallest amount of fondness for him. It absolutely hated him after all!

"I should be training right now!" He screamed at himself. The talk with the fox was so startling and unexpected that he completely forgot about his training because of that. He still had to master the art of flying.

"Ok," A smile curled his lips up as blue eyes lost themselves in the ripple effect of purple. Soon he was again aviating in the cold air of the area.

"Focus Naruto, focus"

His hums of confidence perished in his mouth when clouds began to develop in the skies above him. "Ohh" Dread rose in his heart. Not again. "No" he whispered.

Blink.

It only took a blink of an eye for him to notice a person who was falling helplessly from the sky. From the looks of it, the person was a female. "Of course, she would be a female" His luck was terrific in these kinds of things after all.

Taking a deliberate breath, he raised his hand in her direction.

"Banshō Ten'in"

The result was as expected. Her body which was falling fast towards the ground suddenly stopped in mid-air. Within the next few seconds, it rotated a little and then began to glide towards an impatient Naruto.

Blue eyes grew wide in surprise when he noticed that he had channeled a lot of chakra in the technique and before he knew, the body of the girl collided with him. "Gahh" he gasped in pain. The force behind the collision was so much that it propelled both of them to travel countless meters in the air.

Naruto, who was particularly worried about the girl, grabbed her by the waist and hugged her tightly. "Fuck" were his last words because after that he went unconscious due to the sheer amount of pain that quaked his whole body when a bolt of lightning from the storm made contact with his skin.

As he passed out, he never noticed the seal on his stomach pulsate and glow briefly upon getting shocked.

--oOo--

The first thing Gabriel noticed after waking up from her slumber was that everything was warm around her. Not the annoying warm of summer but more of a pleasant type. "Mwah," she yawned softly as her eyes began to open in order to check the surroundings.

Imagine her surprise when she noticed that all her eyes could see was orange and black. "Huh" her senses were on alarm as she made an effort to stand up from the soft and warm surface. "What is happening?" Try as she might but she couldn't stand up because of something that was wrapped tightly around her waist.

Curious, she lowered her hands to feel the restraints and was thoroughly surprised when instead of iron or metal shackles, she felt the soft skin of someone. "What?" She immediately looked up and went as red as a tomato.

Below her, lay a man, sleeping sloppily without any care of the world. His face was covered with numerous bruises, while a small stream of blood was oozing out of his dry lips, and besides those dry lips were situated the most remarkable features of his face. Three perfectly aligned whiskers on each side of his face. 'Yōkai?!' She mumbled as soon as she saw those whiskers. They were the only ones known to have these kinds of features.

Her assumptions didn't manage to survive more than a second when she abruptly decided to sense his energy. "He has none" was the simple answer she came up with. She tried again and the result was the same. "Strange" Lost in her efforts so much, she completely forgot that she was still lying in the arms of the strange boy.

"Eek!" She squeaked when the arms around her began to squeeze her waist, resulting in her being forced closer into the chest of the boy. Knowing that the pressure would only increase, she manipulated a small bolt of lightning and flicked it on his chest.

"Owww" she winced when the boy yelped in pain but immediately relaxed when his arms finally let her go out of their hold. Wasting no time, she stood up on her feet and jumped away from him, causing him to wake up in the process.

The curiosity inside her increased when blue eyes made contact with her azure ones.

"Am I in heaven already?" His question surprised her a little but she collected herself quickly.

"Why do you think so?" She couldn't help but ask. Did the boy know about her? Was he a decoy sent by the devils for her? Uncertainty was raging in her now.

The boy smiled. "Because I have heard from my teacher that beautiful women like you live only there?"

Her cheeks flushed red at the compliment. "What is your name?" She whispered in order to avoid the more embarrassing talk. She was in no mood for it.

"Naruto" he mumbled. "And yours?" With a single push, he tried to get back on his feet but stumbled back to the ground when a spurt of pain stunned his body. 'Ok the injuries are bad this time' his thoughts were interrupted by the girl who abruptly positioned her hands above his body. Naruto was about to ask what she was doing but resisted when a strange yellow energy engulfed him within its glow.

The first thing he noticed after being engulfed was the unnatural warmth of the energy. It was comforting and he felt like every part of his body was enjoying the sensation. "Hmm," he hummed in pleasure.

"It seems you are enjoying this, Naruto?" Hearing the question, he looked back at her and immediately blushed when he saw a smile on her face. 'Beautiful' was the first thought that came to his mind after seeing that smile. It was undoubtedly one of the most beautiful things he had ever seen, the first still being the smiles of Akeno and his baa-chan. 'Akeno' he didn't know why he thought of her but her name came out on its own.

"Your healing jutsu is great. It feels nice" Groaning, he murmured faintly as a wave of pleasure swarmed his body.

Gabriel stopped her spell. "Jutsu?" Her eyes narrowed down at him. "What is that?" Another question left her mouth.

"Ahh," the realization dawned on him finally. She was also not from here. If there was anything he had learned in the past few weeks then it was the fact that girls who fall from the skies are never familiar with this place. 'And they are usually very beautiful' he added awkwardly. "You don't know anything about this place right?"

His question made her turn her head around to examine the surrounding area and surprisingly he was absolutely right. She really didn't know where she was at the moment. It was an unknown place covered with dense forest and darkness. "I- don't know which country it is," she went speechless after that.

"You are in the Tsukimi no Kuni at the moment-" he decided to stop when his senses suddenly detected the chakra sources of few unknown people. They were coming in their direction fast, oddly fast for even a regular shinobi.

~Tap~

Sounds of countless boots making contact with the ground entered his ear. Soon, a barrage of needles coated with poison on the edges was launched towards him. The attack was not that serious and he could have easily evaded it by teleporting somewhere else but didn't because his eyes were pinned on the girl who was watching everything with fascination. She was not looking afraid at all. Instead, she was enjoying it. 'The spectacle of needles cruising in the air is entertaining her!' He thought in surprise.

~Blink~

His eyes blinked when they saw a needle almost making a contact with her skin. "Shinra Tensei" was all it took for him to prevent the needles from making contact with their skins. He channeled more chakra into his eyes and soon the Godly power of the eyes went berserk.

One, two, three, and so on, the gravity squeezed each one of the individuals who were hidden behind the masks of an all familiar organization.

Air began to whirl violently around them, forming a type of shield for any possible upcoming attack. "Did Danzō send you?" His words came out as a faint whisper but he was sure his assailants heard them very clearly. They have trained for it after all.

No answer came.

Turning his eyes towards one of the Root members who was lying seemingly lifeless on the ground, Naruto extended his hand at him. "Tell me" Within a few seconds, drops of water began to surround the shinobi, and soon he and his teammates were completely locked within orbs of whirling water.

Still, no answer came out of his mouth.

"Fine then" Naruto clenched his hand into a fist and on queue, the water that was whirling around the shinobi turned into countless sharp needles and pierced him all over his body.

"AAAAHHHHHH"

Naruto winced at the painful scream and was about to stop but a bloodied face of Tsunade flickered before his eyes. She died because of that man. That man was the reason why Nagato went insane. He was the reason why everything turned out to be like this and now he wants to hurt him again. 'Danzō' The screaming increased as he channeled chakra into his eyes. "None of you came out to help her while she was fighting Pain. You have no reason to be left alive" his words earned him a gasp from the girl who was standing beside him and was watching things unfold silently.

"Don't kill them!" Gabriel was quick to interfere.

"Why?"

"Because killing is bad" Her simple answer was enough to startle him.

"W-what?!" He couldn't help but wonder what the hell was going through her brain. "They almost barraged us a moment ago, don't you remember?" The girl took a step back, prompting him to lower down his voice and anger.

"B-but" her eyes grew wide and her mouth carved out the best innocent look she could muster. One which she usually uses against her brother Micheal.

Naruto stared at her for a moment before huffing in annoyance. 'Damn these girls and their eyes' he cursed himself for being so soft against them. Gender should never matter to a shinobi, unless they are making a baby. He should treat everyone equally.

"Ahhh, please stop"

He sweatdropped when he realized he forgot to dispel his jutsu.

Gabriel nodded her head at him. He was a decent man, she could tell after this exchange. While Naruto was distracted, torturing the human, at least she assumed they were humans from the lack of energy within them, Gabriel had discreetly glanced at Naruto. He sure was an exceptional individual. All angels could sense emotions to a certain degree, the more powerful they became, the better they could use this ability. There was also the fact that she had always been better at sensing emotions than the rest of her brethren.

What she sensed from him took her breath away.

Naruto's soul was the purest she had ever sensed, only her father's could come even close to what she felt from him. Even when he was talking about this 'Danzo' she never sensed any malice from him, only a will to prevent others from suffering due to this individual. His soul was purer than any angel's, even Michael's.

Gabriel felt a strange sensation within her, but it was soon forgotten as fascination overtook her. She now knew that this boy before her was a very complex individual, the likes of which she had never seen in any realm. She just had to know more about him and the reason behind him being how he is. But before she could study his emotions further, five thumping sounds broke her out of her reverie.

The five root ninja that were still alive fell to the ground almost lifelessly as soon as Naruto dispelled his jutsu. Turning to the girl whose forgiving nature reminded him of his naive self he asked a simple question.

"Are you also going to say you are a devil?"

From the confused look on her face he concluded that she had nothing to do with the two devils that had literally dropped in his arms a few weeks ago, meanwhile not knowing that her confusion stemmed from the fact that this man who clearly had to be a human given the absence of any energy within him knew about devils.

"How do-" her questions were interrupted by the sound of something whizzing through the air followed by the sickening sound of something piercing flesh. Turning towards the source of the sound she saw the five masked people that were spared by Naruto lying in a pool of their own blood with dark purple light spears jutting out from their bodies which soon disappeared as if they never existed.

"I have said it many times Gabriel and I can't stress this enough but you are too soft for your own good. If I didn't intervene, they could have killed you."

Azazel's unmistakable voice made her turn towards him with shock written all over her face. "Brother! Why did you kill them?"

"They were making weird signs with their hands, similar to what the boy next to you made before capturing them in those weird water spheres."

Azazel's words reminded Gabriel that Naruto was still standing next to her looking confused and slightly apprehensive of the two. "Oh, uh, brother this is Naruto. Naruto, this is my brother Azazel."

"Gab, a moment please" following her brother's request Gabriel immediately moved towards him.

"Yes brother?"

Azazel placed a hand on her shoulder, a gesture that made Gabriel smile. "Do you know where are we? I can't remember seeing a place as unique as this" he asked her while peeking frequently at the strange boy who was examining the dead bodies of the masked people.

Gabriel shook her head. Just like her brother she was also completely oblivious of her surroundings. "I don't know brother. This place seems totally different from our world" her answer only raised more questions in Azazel's mind.

"Exactly. I think we are in a different world or dimension because Humans here do not have any energy at all. They are living without it"

"So you mean we were teleported to a whole new dimension?"

"It seems so, but then again this boy knows about devils"

Gabriel glanced at Naruto who immediately stopped whatever he was doing and smiled awkwardly at them. He was amusing, to say the least. "Naruto" Ignoring the minor jabs of her brother's elbow, she exclaimed at the boy.

"Yes?"

Her lips curved upwards. "You said you know devils, right?" Her smile enhanced when he nodded his head.

"Yes"

"Can you please take us to them?"

"No"

Both Azazel and Gabriel faltered on their feet. The way this conversation was advancing, they concluded that they had him in their hold but at the climax moment, this boy altogether rejected her wish and obliterated their beliefs in the process. "W-why?" She blurted out. Was he finally going to show his true colors? She tensed and prepared herself for an attack.

Whatever she was thinking vanished from her mind when the boy pouted at her. It was adorable, very adorable, and the strange sensation she felt earlier only increased the cuteness of the action. "You still haven't told me your name" she sprawled on the ground.

"Did you just reject me because of that small thing?" Her whisper was welcomed with an audible huff.

"I told you mine, but you didn't tell me yours. It's cheating, you know".

She was almost back on her feet but his allegation made her droop onto the ground again. "C-cheating?" She raised her head and facepalmed when the boy began to bob his head up and down.

Azazel who was watching the whole scene, couldn't help but feel a little happy on the inside. His sister, one who had promised to never form any bonds with others was finally talking to someone without using her facade.

"Oii, Uncle" His heart leaped meters when the boy suddenly exclaimed at him. 'Uncle' it's been years since someone had called him that. Still, it was not the word that made his heart hopeful, it was the way this boy uttered it.

"Yes" he mumbled.

"Are you going to follow us or not?"

Azazel blinked. What?! He looked in front and was surprised to see them walking in a particular direction. "When did you both start walking? She told you her name?" Were some sensible questions which fled his usually outspoken mouth.

It was Naruto's time to sprawl. "No" he mumbled, disappointment evident in his tone. "But I will just call her Angel-chan!"

A small smirk appeared on Azazel's face as he inwardly laughed at the irony of that name. "Sure. Now let's meet your devil friends" and just like that it was gone, replaced by a serious look on his face. He looked at his sister and was pleased to see her keeping her distance from the boy. His eyes then moved towards Naruto and expanded a little when he saw something strange around him.

It was concealed, yet if one wanted to, they could see it. A vast swirling torrent of an invisible force was dancing around him. The dance was so violent that if someone had to touch it, he wouldn't be able to do so without losing a limb or two. 'He is on guard too!' The realization finally dawned on him.

--oOo--

From small shrubs to the tall trees, from shallow clefts to the deep gorges, there was nothing Azazel didn't see during his trip with Naruto. The place they were wandering around at the moment was breathtaking. It was like all the four seasons were living in harmony here. Beautiful flowers, crystal clear rivers, green covered soil, and sky-touching white peaks of the mountains were the adornments of this place. If he had not seen Heaven before, he was sure he would have mistaken this place for that.

"Spectacular" Gabriel whispered and Azazel could only nod his head in agreement.

Naruto glanced at the siblings and smiled. They both seemed to be very close to each other. Usually, siblings are not that excited to show the love they hold for each other but these two were different. He could see in their eyes. They held nothing but love and respect for each other. 'I can be wrong' he thought. After all, he knew nothing about these kinds of relationships. The only people who used to call him brother were already dead.

"Naruto"

His eyes snapped open when her voice entered his ears. "Yes?" He mumbled, concealing his sadness behind a mask of confusion.

"Do those devils live with your family? What are their names?"

His already fragile heart broke at the mention of a family. "I-I don't have a family. I'm an orphan" heart wrenching whispers of the villagers began to echo in his mind. They always used to call him that. An orphan, one who knew nothing about his parents.

"Ohh"

Noticing that the siblings were looking at him, he instantly covered his sadness with a huge smile. "And I can't tell you their names yet!" He mumbled, uncertainty hidden in his tone. If there was one thing that was bothering him about these two then it was their interest in Rias and Akeno. From the moment he had mentioned devils, these two have made sure to ask about them every ten minutes. It was unusual in his opinion and that's why he had not told them about those girls' names. If they were searching for them then these two would get extra cautious after hearing their names.

Gabriel frowned. "You can trust us, Naruto" her frown deepened when the boy ignored her words and kept walking.

Azazel saw this and shook his head. The boy was just being cautious like a normal being but his sister didn't seem to understand this simple thing. She had been bugging the boy from the start of their small trip and the boy had been ignoring her most of the time. "Don't disturb him, Gabriel. You can see those devils once we reach our destination"

"B-but" she lowered her head. "I'm not worried about them." Now that made everyone stop. "I'm more worried about him" raising her hand she pointed at a stunned Naruto. "From what he had told us, he took those devils in without even observing them or trying to know their true intention. What if they harm him or even kill him?" she mumbled, worry written all over her face.

Naruto remained silent for a minute before a small laugh escaped his laugh. "Haha, so that's why you are so nervous!" Gabriel nodded her head. "Don't worry about me, Angel-chan! I can protect myself from anyone, even God himself!"

Azazel smirked at the proclamation while Gabriel tilted her head to the side in confusion. "Big talk huh," he said to the boy, his smirk still in its place.

"I'm not joking" Naruto retorted with a smirk of his own.

"Still devils are bad" They both sweatdropped at the abrupt argument of Gabriel.

"Aren't you both a devil too? I mean I saw you use those things to kill those men, oji-san (Uncle)" Naruto whispered with a thoughtful expression on his face.

Azazel tensed. "I-" he paused. Should he tell the kid about their lineage or not? On one hand, they would gain his trust if he chose to tell him and on the other, he would only increase his suspicion further if he refuses to give an answer. "Yes we are devils" and in the end, he chose to do neither. Instead, he decided to feign being a devil.

"Brother!" Gabriel exclaimed but was silenced by her brother before she could leak any confidential information.

Naruto regarded the two for a while before sighing to himself. 'Lying again' he thought but chose to remain silent because, devil or not, these two still entered his life just like those two girls did, and also, he for some reason couldn't help but feel some connection with them. It was like a connection he used to feel with the people who died for him.

Soon he noticed that they were almost near their destination. "Ok," he turned around to look at the siblings. "Listen, good devils, those bad devils must be tired after working for hours now. So please don't try to do anything stupid and irritate them" he requested and smiled when the two immediately swayed their heads in agreement.

"Akeno!"

Azazel froze. There was no way that Naruto was referring to who he thought the person was, right?

"Rias!"

Gabriel tensed. She knew things just got a whole lot more complicated if the names Naruto called out indeed belonged to the Gremory heiress and her queen.

"Look I brought some 'devils' with me" Naruto smiled when two beautiful girls appeared in front of him through the magic seal. "They fell down from the sky too!"

Confused, the two girls turned their head towards the strangers.

"He is Azazel"

Akeno froze. Why did Naruto bring this… Monster to their home?

"And she is Angel-chan. She refuses to tell me her name for now"

Rias tensed. She already knew from a glance who 'Angel-chan' was. Any devil below ultimate class with half a brain would recognize that face and run far, FAR away.

"Now." Naruto's face turned serious as he adopted a business-like tone. He rapidly made a few gestures and sharp torrents of water burst around the angel duo, forming a cage and trapping them before they could react.

"Drop the lies Azazel, Angel-chan, and tell me, who actually are you?"
