And part two of USJ, here we go!
(Linebreak)
"INCOMING!" Simon shouted.
Nomu let out a screech as it charged forward at an unholy speed. Its arm moved so fast that Izuku had no time to react. It backhanded him to the right, its arm hitting his left side, and sent him flying towards the battleground where his teacher was fighting.
He had no idea how he managed to keep the bubble around Tsuyu and Mineta stable because the pain spreading in his left arm was enough to break his concentration.
"KEEP MOVING!" Jessica shouted. He took off just in time for Nomu to punch the spot he was just in. He tried to take his mind off the pain. But his arm was on fire. He couldn't move it either. Why couldn't he move his arm?
He looked down and regretted his decision. It was bent inward at an unnatural angle. Arms weren't supposed to look like that. He wanted to faint, he wanted to pass out, but he couldn't.
"My arm!" He squealed in horror. "Oh god, my arm!"
"Izuku! Izuku, listen!" Jessica shouted.
"Oh god, oh shit, oh fuck–"
"Listen, you got to wrap it in a cast, and have the ring align your bone fragments." Said Simon."
"Gah!"
"Izuku, be brave." Jessica said as Izuku dodged another blow from Nomu. "Focus, focus on my voice.
Izuku focused, and started to pace his breathing. "Now create the cast, and focus your willpower inside your arm. The ring will do the rest." Jessica guided him. Izuku did as he was told, and the cast came to life around his arm. He could feel the pain lessening, his ring working on the damage to his arm.
"I-I'm good." Izuku stammered. He ducked down and flew to the side as Nomu was on him again.
"Good." Simon told him. "Now listen, you have to get your friends out of here."
"And Aizawa." Jessica added.
"R-right, right."
The pain gone and fear diminished, he began to focus on the fight. He had to protect his friends. Though truthfully, they were liabilities. So he had to get them out of there. The solution to his problem seemed so simple. Though in hindsight, it was a bad idea. He took the bubble holding Tsuyu and Mineta, and took aim at the entrance.
Then he threw it.
Their screams could be heard in the distance. He shot into the air and looked back down to see that Aizawa was laying in a pile of his own blood. Nomu jumped into the air and clawed at Izuku, but he dropped, diving towards Aizawa before wrapping him in a bubble and throwing him towards the entrance as well. Hopefully, someone would catch them.
He shot into the air again with Nomu not far behind him. Once he reached the roof, he tucked his legs in and flipped before kicking off the ceiling. Gravity took action as it pulled him down, towards the monster. He reered his fist back and created a rocket on his legs, adding to the momentum of his fall.
He was a blur of emerald light as he shot towards Nomu. The monster did not have time to react as Izuku planted his fist in its face at light speed, sending it into the ground. A crack rang through the air of USJ, turning heads from the entrance and the other disaster areas.
They gaped in awe as the meek boy in their class managed to land the first blow on the monster that took down Aizawa. A bright green light shone from Izuku's position in the air. Everyone needed to cover their eyes or else they would have been blinded. When the light died down, a large ball of emerald light roughly the size of Nomu appeared above Izuku's head. He threw his arms down, and the ball of light was hurled at the monster as it was picking itself up out of the crater it had made.
Nomu held up its arms and pushed against the emerald ball of light. Two opposing forces collided: The immovable object against the unstoppable force. Izuku grit his teeth and focused all his willpower into his ring and willed the ball to move forward. But despite his efforts, the ball moved in the other direction.
Nomu took a single step, then another, then another, until he stepped out of the crater. Then, with strength that was completely unfair to Izuku, it hurled the ball of light back at him. The young lantern cursed as he dived out of the way. It hit the ceiling, causing it to explode in a ball of green fire. Glass rained from the sky, but that did little to distract Izuku and Nomu from their fight. Izuku created a barrier around his body as he flew straight, parallel to the ground towards Nomu as glass shards bounced of it. For Nomu, the shards sank into his skin, but it didn't feel it. Or if it did, it wasn't going to react.
Izuku peppered Nomu with lasers, which did little to harm the monster. Once he got close, he created a gigantic war hammer and swung it at Nomu's ribs.
The impact did nothing.
Izuku paled as he realized that he was open to an attack. By the time he peered his head up, the barrier he had around him broke with a single punch. Izuku was sent flying. He bounced on the ground once, twice, three times before he eventually rolled onto his feet. He had no time to breathe as Nomu was on him again, appearing right above him.
"He smashes through all my shields!" Izuku thought as he darted out of the way. "And brute force doesn't work, I need options!"
"Try restraining him!" Jessica told him. "Use chains!"
Izuku flew as Nomu charged at him. He flipped so that he was facing Nomu and held his ring out. And from it, emerald chains sneaked towards the monster like snakes. They wrapped around its hands and head, but it continued to run forward.
"Up!" Simon shouted.
Izuku did as he was told and shot to the sky, pulling the chains with him. They went taught, and Nomu started to rise into the sky as well. It flailed, trying to break out of its bondages, but it couldn't build the strength to do so in midair.
"Now flip!"
Realization dawned on him as Izuku pieced Simon's plan together. He grabbed the chains and flipped forward. The chains were pulled with the movement, and with them, Nomu followed. It slammed onto the ground flat on its back creating another–albeit smaller–crater.
Izuku followed through and created clamps in the air before slamming them down on Nomu's arms, legs, neck, and waist as it attempted to rise. The monster screeched as its muscles bulged, slowly cracking the constructs as it tried to break them.
Izuku grit his teeth. "Shit, it's going to break out! Now what?!"
"Drive nails into the thing's hands!" Simon told him.
A terse breath came from Jessica. "What? Simon, that's not-"
"Jess, that thing isn't human. I don't even think it's capable of intelligent thought!"
Jessica growled, relenting. "Fine, do it! And clamp its arms, the whole thing!"
Nails appeared from the sky as it drove themselves into Nomu's hands and feet. It screeched as it was nailed into the ground. Izuku then created the clamps for the arms. But before he could place them down, he felt a chill roll down his spine.
The lanterns felt it too. "IZUKU, RIGHT!" They chorused.
However, before he could move, he saw a black haze out of the corner of his eye. The hands villain jumped out of the portal and latched onto Izuku's right arm before activating his quirk. Izuku screamed. It felt as if his arm was on fire. It tore through the costume and started to travel through his skin. The pain was antagonizing, even more so than his left arm when it broke.
"You're quite the mini boss, aren't you?" The hands villain spoke curiously. Izuku's concentration broke, and the constructs restraining Nomu dissipated, allowing it to rise to its feet.
The young lantern grabbed the villain's hand in an attempt to pry it off. But he had a firm grip. Izuku could feel his skin disintegrate, traveling through his body down to his muscle and bone.
"That's an interesting quirk you have there." the villain pondered. "Definitely the level of a pro."
The warp villain appeared right beside him. "He can create any object that appears in his mind. The strength of said object seems to be dependent on the user's creativity and determination. It also allows him the power of flight." The villain cupped his chin. "Very interesting.
Izuku grit his teeth. He couldn't focus on making a construct, so he threw his left hand, only for it to be caught by Nomu, who had risen from his lack of concentration. Izuku realized that its wounds were starting to heal, fresh muscle and bone filling the holes in his hands and feet.
"GET OUT OF THERE IZUKU!" Jessica hollered.
"COME ON, KID, MAKE SOMETHING! ANYTHING!" Simon echoed.
But he couldn't. Images scrolled through Izuku's brain. Missiles, a gun, rockets, everything. But the pain in his arm was so great that it always brought his attention away from his constructs.
The villain's eyes gazed upon Izuku's ring. He stared at it for a few moments before bringing it closer to his face. "This is a nice ring. It looks like it's made of jade or something. Where did you get it?"
"LET ME GO!" Izuku hollered in both horror and determination.
And as if the gods answered his prayers, both hands released him.
"DIE!" A familiar cry rang out.
The explosion picked Izuku up off his feet and sent him flying through the air. He felt a hand snag the collar of his shirt as he suddenly became weightless.
"Izuku, hang on!" Ochako shouted as she drifted towards the stairs. Izuku winced through his teeth as he clutched his partially disintegrated arm.
"Oh my god, thank goodness." Jessica said in relief.
Simon released a breath he was holding. "Thank, god."
Ochako drifted towards what looked like a fortress of ice that cut the entrance off from the stairs descending into USJ. Shoto's work no doubt. From behind the fortress, a line of tape shot towards Ochako, who caught it in midair. The tape receded, pulling two heroes-in-training behind the ice. As soon as Ochako set Izuku down, everyone crowded them.
"Uraraka! Midoriya!"
"Holy shit, he fought that thing all by himself!"
"They tag teamed him, no fair!"
"Midoriya, are you alright?!"
"Uraraka-san, how is he?!"
Izuku groaned as he clutched his arm. It still burned in pain. But his mind was elsewhere. Where was Bakugo? Did he dive into the fray? He doesn't stand a chance against Nomu, and the warp and hands villains.
"W-where–"
"We sent Ilda-kun back to UA to get help. And Katsuki, Torodoki, and Kirishima-kun went to get you out of there." Momo told him as she knelt beside him, creating bandages from her skin. "Now I need you to let go of your arm. It needs to be wrapped."
Izuku did as he was told, sucking air through his teeth as his wound came into contact with the air. Momo winced. The damage wasn't too bad. The skin and a bit of muscle was gone, but the nerves and bone were untouched. The wound would scar though. "Not as bad as Aizawa sensei, thankfully." she said.
Izuku perked up. He threw Aizawa-sensei along with Minoru and Tsuyu. "Wait, where–"
"They're safe." Ochako said, "I saw them coming midair and caught them."
Izuku sighed in relief. They're safe.
"You did good, kid." Simon told him.
"Izuku, you were amazing." Jessica complemented, "You were so strong, just like Hal."
Simon chuckled. "Yeah, he actually would have done the exact same thing."
Izuku smiled. It was almost over. "Tsu-chan looks kinda pissed though." Ochako told him. "And Mineta-kun passed out from the throw."
Izuku looked to the two students in question. Minoru's eyes were rolled to the back of his head, and was foaming at the mouth. Tsuyu was glaring at him.
He guiltily looked to the side and chuckled. "Um… sorry?"
Tsuyu looked ready to shout at him. But before she could, Eijirou smashed through the ice fortress. Everyone jumped as he hit the wall and fell to the floor. Momo and a few others ran to him to tend to his wounds. Izuku looked through the newly made hole.
On the ground below, Bakugo and Shoto were fighting Nomu-two on-one. They both looked bruised. Bakugo had lost one of his gauntlets, and part of his mask had been torn away. Shoto's costume was ripped in a few places, and the right side of his body was slowly getting covered in ice.
The hands and warp villains looked perfectly fine, countering their techniques with ease. Bakugo launched himself towards the hands villain, only for the warp villain to create a portal in front of him and send him crashing into Shoto's back. They barely had much time to untangle themselves from one another as Nomu dived in, punching the ground where they once stood.
Shoto sent a wave of ice towards the monster, only for it to throw a punch, shattering the ice like glass. Despite fighting alongside each other for the first time, Baukgo and Shoto worked well together. Bakugo grabbed Shoto by the arm and pulled him out of the way of the attack before throwing him at the warp villain. He himself went at the hands villain again, but Nomu bolted in front of him, taking the attack. He batted him to the side, sending him skidding across the ground, Shoto appearing beside him not a second later.
Izuku stood up, wrapping a second cast around his right arm. It still hurt, but he could still move it. He felt someone grab his arm. "Izuku, wait, you're injured!" Ochako shouted.
"They're going to get killed out there!" Izuku returned. "I'm the only one who can go up against Nomu by myself, everyone else will get overwhelmed."
"Dude, you almost got killed last time." Denki said. "Look at Eijirou, he's out cold!"
Izuku turned around, determination filling his eyes. "Listen, we can't wait for Tenya to come back with other heroes. It may be too late. And if Bakugo and Torodoki fall, it's over for all of us." He wrestled his arm out of Ochako's grip. "And if I'm right, that thing, Nomu, is the key to taking out All Might. It's got multiple quirks."
"What? How?" Jirou exclaimed, "Everyone only has one quirk!"
"Shock absorption, super strength, and regeneration. It might be able to tank All Might's hits and dish the same amount of strength back. Now, I may be able to restrain it, but I can't do that while the other two villains are there." He looked back at the battleground, "With Bakugo and Torodoki-kun however, is a different story."
He turned back around and flew through the hole towards the battlefield. Bakugo and Shoto had just dived out of the way of Nomu's attack and were preparing for another charge. Before they could, however, Izuku held his ring out and created two hand constructs that grabbed their arms and pulled them into the air.
Shoto peered up at him. "Midori-"
"DEKU! PUT ME DOWN!" Bakugo demanded as he flailed his arms.
A portal opened above them, and Nomu fell through. The three students paled as Izuku dived out of the way. Crisis averted, the young lantern turned to his allies.
"Guys, listen, I can take out Nomu, but I need you to keep the other two villains off my back."
Bakugo growled. "Don't hog the spotlight, Deku! I'll take down the big guy, you two take the smaller ones!"
"We've barely laid a dent on him though, Midoriya's right, we'd have an easier time taking the other two villains." said Shoto.
"Shut up! I'll be taking the glory this time, not you!"
"This isn't the time to be arguing!" Izuku shouted. "I'm throwing you, get ready!"
Shoto took a breath and clenched his right hand into a fist. Bakugo flailed his arms and tried to blast himself away. "DEKU! DON'T YOU DARE!"
Izuku threw them at the two villains before diving down to deal with Nomu. The monster met him head on as it jumped into the air. Green met black and the fight between the unstoppable force and the immovable object continued.
(Linebreak)
Shoto created a platform off the ground and slid down to meet the warp villain. He compiled a plan in his mind. He wasn't going to be dealing with Nomu or the hands villain either, so he should have an easier time fighting him.
The warp villain is capable of making portals, though he was more of a support role than an attack role. He could redirect Shoto's ice attacks elsewhere, making it hard to hit. But in terms of offense, Shoto couldn't think of anything the villain could do. How to attack him, however, was easy. As he was fighting with Bakugo and Eijirou, Bakugo had pointed out that there was a metal brace somewhere on the villain's body. It was his weak point. They understood that much. He just had to get a hand on the brace and the fight would be over.
The villain saw him coming and opened a portal on the platform beneath him. Shoto saw it and just before he stepped into it, he placed his right hand on the ground and created a pillar of ice which fired him over the portal like a geyser. However, a portal opened up in front of him while he was in midair. He passed through it and appeared high in the air above the battleground.
Shoto cursed as he started to freefall. He held his right hand out and created a slide. It was large enough to reach the ground, catching him in the air as he spiraled downwards. He could feel the cold from his right arm seeping through his body. He used too much energy against Nomu and would have to regulate his large scale attacks or else he would get frostbite.
All of a sudden, a portal appeared in front of him. Shoto's eyes widened as he gripped the side of the slide and leaped off to the slide below him. Another portal appeared and he jumped off once again, this time, landing safelyon the ground.
Without a moment's hesitation, he launched a blast of ice at the villain, only for him to create a portal which connected to another at Shoto's left side. Shoto was blasted by his own ice as it threatened to freeze his skin.
Shoto panted as his right arm began to freeze. The villain noticed this. "It appears that your quirk is quite costly." He observed, "Surrender before you freeze your arm off."
Shoto growled. "Never." He flung his arm forward, his ice obeying his command. A gigantic glacier three stories high appeared in front of him, covering the area where the villain once stood.
Shoto sank to his knees. Was it over? Did he do it?
Before he could react, a black portal appeared beside him, and an onyx hand grasped his throat.
(Linebreak)
Bakugo was pissed. Who does Deku think he is taking the big villain? Just because he's got a strong quirk, he thinks he's invincible? Well if they survive this, Bakugo was more than happy to show him otherwise.
The explosive boy blasted himself towards the hands villain, explosions trailing behind him. As soon as he reached the ground, he let out a loud "DIE!" and once again sent the villain flying away with an explosion.
The villain rolled to his feet. "You again, the fodder. Though, I suppose you would be a tank."
The word fodder echoed through his mind. Is that it? Is that all he thought he was? Bullshit! He was one of the strongest students in his class! The hell he is fodder!
"THE HELL YOU SAY?! I'LL KILL YOU!" Bakugo sent an explosion behind him, carrying him towards the villain. Twisted out of the way of the hand that threatened to send an explosion at his face. Bakugo flew forward for a second before releasing an explosion in front of him, carrying him towards the villain again.
The villain swiped at him, only for Bakugo to vault over the hand with an explosion and release another at the villain's back. He had seen what the villain's quirk did to Aizawa-sensei and Deku, he was not going to let it happen to him.
The two exchanged blows in hand to hand combat, both using hit and run tactics. Bakugo would dive in with an explosion, but had to jump back or else he would disintegrate. Likewise, the hands villain lunged to lay his hand on Bakugo, but the student would dodge and the villain would have to avoid another explosion.
They continued their exchange for what felt like several minutes. One wrong move would result in the other's downfall. If Bakugo was right, the hands villain was extremely lanky, his body being only skin and bones. And even then, he was kinda thin like a stick. A single explosion might bring him out of the fight.
An idea popped into his head after another exchange. Bakugo held his hands out in front of him and blasted himself away from the villain. He held out his remaining gauntlet in front of him, his finger at the pin.
"What's this? A special move?" The villain asked inquisitively.
"Something like that." Bakugo said with a grin. "Now let me tell you something. My sweat contains nitroglycerine, an explosive substance. The support course designed these gauntlets to my design so that my sweat would be contained and built up." His grin turned predatory and feral. "And if I want, I can release it all at once."
Realization dawned on the villain as he realized what was to come. "And I have been sweating non stop since that portal freak dropped me in the middle of a bunch of villains for the last hour."
He pulled the pin, and an explosion, bigger than the one when he fought Midoriya, shot out of the gauntlet. The explosion was visible throughout USJ. It was bigger than the fountain where they fought at, but smaller than a two story house. It was like a bomb had gone off, and had done the same amount of damage as one.
Bakugo's gauntlet was smoking once the explosion ended. He whistled, impressed at the destruction he caused. "Serves him right for thinking me small fry." Bakugo said proudly. Slowly, the smoke cleared. Bakugo searched for the body, but saw none. Instead, he saw a hole in the ground large enough to fit a person.
His eyes widened, piecing together what happened as well as the villain's next move. "Shit–"
A portal appeared beside him, and Nomu's hand trapped around his neck
(Linebreak)
"Ready to do this a second time, kid?" Simon asked as Izuku flew through the air like a missle.
"Yeah."
"You got this, Izuku! Show this thing who's boss!" Jessica cheered.
Izuku swerved under Nomu's jump before flying after it. He released a series of lasers, this time aimed at its head. He already accepted the fact that it wasn't human, but its brain allowed it to function. If he damages–or better yet, fries– it, he wins.
Nomu landed on the ground and turned on its heel, throwing a punch at Izuku. The young lantern swerved around it and brandished a sword, swinging it at Nomu's brain. However, the monster avoided the incoming attack and batted Izuku with his left hand. Izuku created five layers of protection around himself, four of which broke immediately, the last one shattered as he flew through the air.
Quickly, he rolled to his feet and flew up. As he did, an idea crossed his mind. Newton's third law: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Nomu's shock absorption breaks that rule, but if he could counter Nomu's strength, they can once again fight on equal ground.
A green light shone from his ring, and a construct began to appear around him. It grew bigger and bigger, until it was the size of a skyscraper. All those who saw it paled at the sight of the zero pointer standing tall and proud, reminding them of the entrance exam and the destruction it caused.
Nomu jumped, an arm pulled back to destroy the construct. Before it could, however, the arm of the zero pointer batted it out of the sky, sending it into the ground creating a crater. Izuku followed through by shifting the left arm into a cannon. He aimed it at Nomu and fired. An emerald laser burst from the cannon, driving Nomu further and further into the ground. But Izuku wasn't done there. Missile launchers slid out from the zero pointer's shoulders and fired missiles round after round as the laser continued to dig into the ground.
The point of impact was completely demolished, but Izuku knew better than to stop. However, somehow, Nomu jumped from within the beam as if it had no effect on him, and smashed into the zero pointer. The construct shattered like glass, and Nomu appeared above Izuku. The lantern had no time to throw up a shield as the monster punched him into the ground. Izuku cried in pain, but no sound came from his mouth as the blow had winded him. His body hurt. He was paralyzed from the pain making him unable to move.
"Izuku, come on, get up!" Jessica shouted.
"Kid, get up, NOW!" Simon pressured urgently.
Izuku took in a sharp breath, and he was off again, just as Nomu landed. The monster lept after him. And like last time, Izuku sent chains forward, wrapping around its arms. But Nomu learned from its previous mistake. It stopped in place and pulled on the chains, stopping Izuku abruptly and pulling the lantern towards the monster. Then, with strength equivalent to that of All Might, Nomu raised his arm, and hit Izuku with a lariat.
Pain erupted around him as he felt his bones crunch beneath his face. He skid across the floor, but failed to pull himself upright, instead landing on his butt facing Nomu. He clutched his face. Everything was on fire. His nose was broken, and his cheekbones may be shattered. If they were, Izuku couldn't feel it due to how his entire face throbbed.
"Damage assessment?" He asked.
"Broken nose, cracked skull, a concussion, and more!" Jessica listed off, panicked.
"A concussion?! Izuku can you concentrate?" Simon asked urgently.
Izuku closed his eyes and tried to make a construct, but his mind was hazy. He was still aware of his body and the pain he felt, but whenever he tried to create an image, it fell apart in his mind.
"No. Shit, that hurts." Izuku groaned.
"Well try to fly, cause here he comes!" Jessica cried.
Izuku shot off the ground. He could hear Nomu's screech as it ran behind him. He flipped onto his back and fired off another series of lasers. None of them made their mark, flying way off their target. The good news was that he could fly and shoot. The bad news was that he couldn't create shields, or constructs from that matter.
Izuku blinked as he tried to steady his ring through his wobbly vision. Nomu was getting closer and closer. He fired off a single shot which impacted its stomach. It did nothing, obviously. Before he realized it, Nomu had finally gotten its hands on him. It grabbed him by the leg, and slammed him into the ground over and over again. The floor cracked beneath his body, and his bones broke with every impact. Eventually, Nomu dropped him, but the damage was done.
All he could feel was pain. It was in every pore of his body, his head, his arms, his legs, everywhere. He couldn't move a muscle. His bones weren't broken, he was sure of that, but the pain prevented him from moving.
"IZUKU! IZUKU!" Jessica shouted desperately.
"KID, GET UP! IZUKU, YOU GOT TO MOVE!" Simon followed just as desperate.
Izuku could hear them, but he couldn't respond. It hurt to speak. It was actually starting to get hard to breathe. He understood the situation he was in, but his body wouldn't respond.
Nomu strode over to him, his onyx skin casting a shadow over Izuku's body. Simon and Jessica's wails grew louder as the monster 's hand wrapped around his throat. Fear wracked his heart as his heartbeat suddenly grew deafeningly loud. Nomu raised Izuku into the air and began to squeeze.
Izuku regained control over his eyes as he felt his windpipe being crushed. His skin began to change color as oxygen failed to flow through his lungs. Gritting his teeth, Izuku fought through the pain as he started hitting Nomu's arm in a last ditch effort. But it was fruitless. The monster had shock absorption, and Izuku wasn't physically strong in the first place. "ShitshitshitshitshitshitshitshitSHIT!"
Then suddenly, without warning, Nomu dropped Izuku and darted away. He gasped, taking in a deep breath, panting as he tried to regain his footing. He struggled to get back onto his feet, but he had to get back into the fight. He looked up. Where was Nomu?
His eyes found the monster, and he paled. In the monster's right hand was an unconscious Shoto, half frozen. In the other, was a flailing Bakugo, futility peppering Nomu with ineffective explosions.
A black haze filled the space next to it as the warp villain appeared. Somewhere in the area where Bakugo was originally fighting, the hands villain climbed out of the hole carved into the ground. They villains were bruised and scraped, but no worse for wear. Nomu looked practically untouched, its regeneration healing every wound.
"I suppose that wraps things up." The warp villain idly remarked.
"Not quite." said the hands villain. He turned to Izuku, who was barely capable of standing. "We have to take out the mini boss. He looks like he's on one HP. He'll go down with a single hit."
Despair filled Izuku's heart. He failed. He failed to restrain Nomu, and now Bakugo and Shoto, one of the two heaviest hitters in their class were captured and were going to die. Then everyone else would be next. Ilda, Tsuyu, Eijirou, Denki, Momo, everyone! And it would be his fault because he couldn't take out the biggest threat!
He aimed his ring at the villains. "Drop them!" Izuku shouted, failing to hide his fear. The hands villain was right in the sense that he was on his last legs. His mind was still hazy, and he couldn't make a construct. Even now his vision was wobbly thanks to the concussion. Even if he managed to hit one of them with a laser, it would be out of sheer luck.
"IZUKU, FLY!" Jessica wailed.
Before he could react, Izuku felt the floor beneath his feet disappear. He fell through the portal beneath him, right into the hands villain's outstretched hand. He was caught with four fingers wrapped around his neck, his body throbbing in protest with the sudden movement.
"And with that, the level is over." The villain spoke. "Now all we got to do is wait for all Might, and–"
An explosion rang out from the entrance as the doors to USJ were thrown open. A spark of hope blossomed in Izuku's chest as he heard the doors crash somewhere onto the ground. The whole compound was silent as a pair of footsteps echoed loudly throughout USJ.
All Might descended the stairs. Gone was the smile of the number one hero, the friendly teacher. Instead, it was replaced with a fierce snarl, one which would strike fear into the hearts of villains everywhere should they come across his path.
Izuku let his body relax as the adrenaline in his body left him in relief. The pain diminished, and he exhaled in relief as he saw All Might, dressed in a white, button down shirt with a blue tie and yellow dress pants. But before unconsciousness claimed, he heard All Might speak in a booming voice the phrase that drove him to become a hero in the first place.
"It is fine now! FOR I AM HERE!"

And that's a wrap for USJ! Izuku is in too much pain to register what happens next, and we all know what happens anyway.
