Kyles P.O.V.

"Nice to meet you, Mia," Brax said

I stared at him dumbfounded. Is that all he has to say?

"I'm sorry to ask this but can you give us a few minutes of privacy please" Brax followed up with

Mia nodded her head and left the house

Well, this is it, time to face the one person I never did want to get on the bad side of, again. I looked him in the eyes, took a deep breath and went to try and explain. But in the next minute all that was in my sight as the floor of the house.

OW! My lip started to blossom in pain. He'd punched me. I supposed I deserved it but that didn't mean I had to like it.

"Yeah you did deserve that"

Oh, I said that out loud. "Look Brax, I get your not happy with me…"

"That's an understatement" He murmurs

"But" I continue despite his interruption "this is series and I know you'll say 'Why didn't I tell you earlier but I didn't think it would be that big of a deal, I didn't know that they knew where I lived."

"You've got five minutes to explain or I am going to put you in the hospital"

Great, I think. Time to tell him my entire life story.

"You might want to get comfy," I said, "this is going to take a while."

No-Ones P.O.V

Kyle quietly walked out of the house. He was meeting potential adoptive parents for his 5-year-old sister. The house wasn't safe anymore, His mum had been shot and his Dad was, well at best, abusive. He didn't want a girl, 'They would be useless in the business' was his favourite saying. Kyle knew he couldn't risk letting her grow up with them. If she left no-one would really care but if he left, they would scour the world for him. It wasn't that Danny didn't have any other sons he could use to help, he had three others, his half-brothers but the oldest Daryll protected them from him. Kyle liked to think if they knew about him, they would protect him too but he knew that would never happen, he was too weak.

The adoption happened quickly the parents loved her and they promised to take care of her. Kyle stated on his way home a little gloomy. He'd miss her but he knew it was for the best. Just as he reached the house he was grabbed from behind. His Dad appeared asking whether he was trying to run away. Despite him profoundly denying it his dad didn't believe him, saying he needed to be 'Punished'. 5 years went by before he saw the outside world again by that point, he had all but forgotten his sister and his half-brothers. All that was on his mind was pleasing his dad.

But then his dad went to jail and he got a letter from a girl named Mia claiming she was his sister. At that moment everything came back to him. His mum being shot, fiving his sister up for adoption and wishing his brothers knew about him. He didn't get a chance to act on it though as he was taken by men that worked for his dad and he was passed messages from the inside for jobs he was required to do. It was all a big roundabout get a message do the job, be locked away until it was clear, talks to his sister secretly for a little bit and then getting another message for another job that he needed to do. Somehow, they found out about his contact with his sister, if he wanted to keep her from ending up like his mum then he was to have no contact with her. But he escaped, made a life for himself, got a girlfriend, became normal. But then his dad got out it was all about revenge on Daryll. He had to go with it or he would be putting his sister in jeopardy. Then his dad got shot and died and he met his brothers.

He stopped there, Brax new the rest of the story. Kyle explained how the guys that were after him used to work for dad. They held him captive for those 5 years and they were the ones who threatened his sister. They wanted to punish him for joining the 'other side' and ignoring the fact that this was the family that killed Danny Braxton. They were after blood.
