Disclaimer: Hi, everyone this is my first fanfic so go easy on me for any errors I made, I do not own DC comics/animations or Steven Universe. This story sets in the DC universe with the crystal gems, characters from Beach City and the homeworld gems in it but in this story steven will be a girl, going by the name "Nora" as was mentioned to be named if he was going to be born a girl in "Lion 4: Alternate Ending" in this, the gems will be the same (though I might change some things), as well as the other characters. It'll set place in the Steven Universe timeline where steven was about to find out the secrets and the truth about his mom, while in the DC timeline, it sets where Damian Wayne (A.K.A Robin) has been living with the Teen Titans and Conner Kent (A.K.A Superboy from The Reign of Supermen) is living with the Kents. (DO NOT STEAL STORY!)

Chapter 1: The Prologue

Rose Quartz was looking out into the sea with a relaxed daze in her eyes, she was a beautiful woman who was 8ft tall, with light peach color skin, pink curly hair and was wearing a strapless floor-length lilac, snow trimmed and white-tiered pink dress with multiple layers resembling the petals of a rose, having a star-shaped cutout in the navel area showing her gem. As she was looking in a distant she subconsciously put her hand on her swollen belly indicating that she was pregnant, she may appear to be human, but she isn't, she's an alien-like being who has a gem attached into any parts of their bodies, they were all named after the gem they have and shows the color of their skin as it has on their gem, but Rose was different from them, far different, you see the form she's taken now wasn't her true form.

Her true form was having pink skin, magenta eyes with diamond-shaped pupils, and shoulder-length yet large, fluffy pale pink hair. She also appeared to wear lipstick, wore a rose-burgundy top which was cropped in the middle to reveal her midriff and gem with large puffy pink-and-white shoulder pads and rose gloves. She also wore a small pink and white skirt, short puffy rose-pink pants, white stockings and a pair of pink slippers with white pom poms floating over each of them, her real name was Pink Diamond of the four powerful leaders of her planet "Homeworld" before she became "Rose Quartz" she wanted to have a colony of her own, like the other diamonds but was told that she wasn't ready, due to be told that she was too immature and acting like a child, but eventually, they found a planet that was perfect to be her first colony, Earth.

Pink was ecstatic to finally have a colony of her own, her base to overlook upon her first planet was on the moon, she, along with her "servant" pearl, was on the base waiting for the incubating quartz soldiers to emerge. Soon the quartz soldiers started to emerge from their holes, but since she was still in her base on the moon she had pearl to put up a holographic visual from the earth's surface where she could see the soldiers coming out. Wanting to interact with them, Pearl suggested that Pink could shapeshift into a quartz soldier so that no one would be suspicious while they were sent down to earth.

The plan worked none of the amethysts knew that the "rose quartz" soldier was actually pink diamond, pink, while still disguised as rose quartz, and pearl went exploring the planet, pink soon realized that there was so much life on her planet and was realizing that none of it will survive her colonization, with her eyes opened she began to see what she, and the other diamonds, were doing was wrong, they were taking life from planets and leaving nothing behind to make more gems for their empire. Pink then went on with arguments and pleading with two of her diamond allies, Yellow and Blue, saying that she doesn't want to go through with the colonization nor to destroy life on the planet, but was fallen into deaf ears, they told her that this was what she wanted and to finish want she started, they even created a zoo for humans to put in.

She tried with all her power as Pink Diamond, but that meant nothing to the others, and that was the final straw, she decided to make a stand as "Rose Quartz" to do whatever it takes to stop the colonization on earth. The journey was a long and perilous path but with the help of cast-off gems, a new fusion, and pearl, calling themselves the "Crystal Gems", they fought off homeworlds gems to protect the earth, but pink knew that if the battle were to continue, there will be nothing left to protect, so she had no other choice but to fake her own shattering in front of a battle where she, as herself, and pearl, shape-shifted as Rose stood in front of her palanquin, where everyone saw pink diamonds "shattering" by Rose Quartz.

Soon after pinks "shattering", everyone in the rebellion indicated that it was finally over, the earth was saved. But that wasn't the end, after hearing pinks shattering, the other diamonds were furious and anguished the three diamonds made a last-ditch attempted to destroy the rebellion with their power, aiming directly towards the earth and blasted the planet's surface with every gem on it except three, which are Rose, Garnet, and Pearl, which were protected by Roses' shield.

Years after the great gem war, the last remaining rebels continued on living on earth living in hiding from the human and watch them evolved from cultural revolution to the modern-day, along the years went by they found out that the suppose destroyed gems were still alive, but were not the same they became corrupted and turned into monster-like gems that were once their friends, they had to battle them, poof them and bubble them into the temple, they found a new gem to join their small group, a defected amethyst, who is a loving member in the crystal gems.

They remained within their temple for years using the warp-pad to travel around the world and capture the corrupted gems. Soon a city was built near where the temple was, called "Beach City" where a young man going by the name of Greg Universe, who was a one-man band on the road, played a concert for one night, but no one showed up all except for Rose, where they fell in love and started a relationship when Greg decided to stay and dropped his dream of being a rockstar to be with her.

Several years have passed since then, Greg was now an older man while Rose was still the same, but they had something planned, they decided to have a baby together and recorded two tapes for each gender whichever was born. Greg knew that the baby would have to have some birth certificate about them, for extra measures, he made a friend at the hospital who was willing to put everything in order for when the baby is born and to keep quiet about Rose being not human.

So here we are now, returning back to Rose, who was still looking out into the sea, finally snaps out of it when she hears a male voice.

"Hey, Rose!"

she then turned her head to see Greg running towards her with a smile on his face "Hi Greg" replied Rose returning a smile back.

"Whatcha doing out here?" Greg asked "just looking at the ocean, wondering how our child would love to play in it," said Rose "and how they would spend hours looking up at the sky."

"I'm sure they'll love it as much as you do Rose" replied Greg with a small sad smile on his face, when Rose got pregnant she told him that in order for the baby to be born, she will have to give up her physical form to give birth to them, it broke his heart that his girlfriend was leaving him for good but they both wanted to have a baby together, the ones that were taking the hardest was the Gems, they were shocked when they heard that Rose was going to have a baby and knew that they'll never see her again after the baby is born.

Rose looked down at Greg with a comforting smile on her face "Don't be sad Greg, I know that you and the gems will take care of the baby"

"I know but we're gonna miss you so much" said Greg with a single tear rolling down his face.

"I know.."

As he wiped off the tear "and hey *sniffed* did ya put the tapes away?" he asked her "yeah, I did, I hid them somewhere where I know our kid will find one of them one day" she told Greg with a closed eye smile.

The happy couple stayed out on the beach a while longer, not knowing what was in store for the baby, Rose thought that now the war with homeworld was over and that her old life was now buried in the past, she can live her soon to be new life as her baby peacefully not knowing the secrets and the consequences she was leaving behind for her kid.

Thus brings us to the journey of revealing the truth about Noras' mom and her adventures with the gems, the Justice Leauge, and the Teen Titans. Will Nora find out the secrets about her mom, will the gems help her along the way, will the groups of superheroes handle the difficulties of trying to learn more about Nora, the Crystal Gem, and Homeworld, and will they all get through it all?
