Prologue:

After accepting his feeling for Darkness, Kazuma wanted to gave her a present so she could start noticing him, at the same time, Darkness went to Megumin for some advice, but things went wrong when Megumin said that Kazuma was already interested in someone leaving Darkness depressed. Kazuma were supposed to meet Darkness in the stargazing spot to give her the present. After being rescued by Darkness from thieves, he managed to gave Darkness the present. Once they arrived her home, Aqua who was upset with Kazuma thinking that he was the reason Darkness was so depressed, she used God blow on him.

(Eh?!... How strange… I could swear that Aqua´s punch will be a little bit more painf….)

After Kazuma could finish his sentence, he realized that he was no longer alive.

(Ahh… Now I get it… That shitty goddess just killed me with that punch…)

— It´s been a while, Eris-sama.

— H-hi Kazuma-san… You know you weren't supposed to be here…

(I could feel my heart crack after that sentence)

Eris just giggled at Kazuma´s question.

Kazuma nervously stood up.

Kazuma´s face at that point was totally flushed. Then Eris said something that picked Kazuma´s interest.

— But to be honest, I´m happy that I was able to help you find Darkness in time…

After hearing Megumin, Kazuma stared confused at Darkness asking for an explanation. She just blushed and made him signals to go along with her lie.

— Yeah come to think of it, after all you saved Darkness and brought her safe to the mansion.

(Wait… What kind of explanation did Darkness gave to these two)

— Eh… Yeah… I gave those… golems a lesson they will never forget.

— In fact, I´m starting to think that you two have something since you never saved me or Aqua with such heroism.

Yelled Darkness and Kazuma at the same time.

Aqua and Megumin left the hall to their rooms giving Kazuma and Darkness mischievous faces.

Darkness still blushed, she took his music box which was hidden. She opened the box and listened to the melody once more.

— It´s such a beautiful song… Thank you Kazuma…

(She is so beautiful when she smiles like this…. I want to protect that smile)

— Go stargazing with me t-tomorrow…?

Darkness was so embarrassed that after she asked Kazuma she hid her face.

(WHAT?! Is this real? Did she just ask me to go out with her… like a date…?)

Kazuma´s face matched with Darkness´s face by being flushed.

(Come on Satou Kazuma!)

— I… r-really…. Ahhhhhhggg!

Kazuma just like Darkness a while ago hid her face with his heart beating like a machine gun. Darkness still blushed, giggled at Kazuma´s reaction. She stood and kneed in front of Kazuma.

— Tomorrow at 11 o´clock pm?

— S…sure…

And then Darkness with a smile, still embracing the gift that Kazuma gave to her run to her room.

Then Kazuma thought to himself with tears.

(Father, Mother…. I made it… I will finally have a date with a girl…)

He stood up and went to his room to sleep. When he was finally ready to sleep, he started to think about the night he had.

— I can´t wait to go out with Darkness… I hope everything goes well.

And with that said, Kazuma fell asleep.

Unfortunately, not everything will go well the next day.

— Kazuma, Kazuma! Wake up!

— Eh?! What´s happening.

Aqua, Megumin and Darkness were in the room.

— This is an emergency! My father sent a letter, we have to go to the Dustiness house right now!

(Darkness-san you´re too close!)

Darkness after noticing how close she was from Kazuma´s face she stepped back.

— Okay minna, let´s get ready to go.

(It looks like a normal day was so much to ask… there it goes my date with Darkness)

As Aqua and Megumin left the room to get ready, Darkness was still in the room fidgeting.

—W-what´s wrong Darkness?

— K-Kazuma… If we get back, do you still want to go stargazing with me?

Without any hesitation, Kazuma replied instantly.

— Onegaishimasu Darkness-san.

Darkness giggled and left the room with a smile.

Once everyone was ready, they gathered at the main hall checking they had everything they need.

— Oi Darkness, can I see the letter you father sent to us.

— Sure, the truth is, that the letter is for you Kazuma.

(Eh… A letter for me?)

"Dear Kazuma:

I, Ignis Dustiness Ford write this letter for you and your team because we need you to come to the Dustiness house to an important meeting, the sake of the Belserg realm is at stake. We hope you could come as soon as you get this letter."

Megumin added:

— What could be that bad to make Darkness´s father write a letter directly to Kazuma.

Then Darkness answered Megumin.

— We better start moving now, it looks that things aren't going alright.

Before they were going to the Dustiness household, Kazuma and his team went to Wiz´s shop to buy some useful items.

— Oh, Hello everyone.

— Hi Wiz, we need to buy some items for a trip.

Right after that, everyone went to arm himself. Kazuma searched for Vanir.

Vanir handed a mask just like the one he was wearing.

Kazuma took the mask from Vanir to be prepared in case of an emergency.

— Nee boy, you better keep in mind the prophecy moi gave to you.

When everyone was ready, they left the shop and rode in a caravan to the Dustiness household. Aqua and Megumin were sitting together, leaving Kazuma and Darkness together.

— Darkness, what´s that thing you have in your hands.

— Oh, this?

Everyone looked at Darkness because of Megumin´s ask.

— This is a present someone special gave to me.

After saying that smiling with her cheeks barely red. She opened the music box Kazuma gave to her letting everyone hear the melody.

— Wow… it´s such a beautiful song!

— Yes… whoever gave you that, must be really interested in you Darkness.

— E-eh?!

After Aqua´s reply, Darkness and Kazuma got embarrassed.

— Nee nee Kazuma, looks like you had some competition *kusukusukusu*

— If you´re not careful, however gave Darkness that present will take her away from you.

Aqua and Megumin tried not to laugh.

— Otou-sama, we arrived as soon as we read the letter you send to Kazuma.

— What´s the problem, Ignis-sama?

Darkness´s father put a serious face right after Kazuma asked him to fill them up.

— We recently received important information about a dangerous enemy who is preparing to attack the household and eliminate the whole noble family as well.

Darkness´s father smiled at Kazuma´s response.

Darkness´s father was literally crying, he happily grabbed Kazuma´s hands.

— I really want Lalatina to have a bright future with a good man who I know he would make her happy. But I really couldn't find her a good match…

— By the way Kazuma-kun, I hope you don't mind sleeping in the same room with my daughter. As a consequence of the currently emergency, all the other rooms are occupied by the knight guards to rest by turns. Being that said I´ve got to go to see if there are any news.

Kazuma was totally stunned by Darkness´s father words. He barely managed to go back in the room.

— O-oi Kazuma you look pale, are you alright?

— Eh?! Y-yes I´m totally fine!

(Damn, how am I supposed to look her at her eyes now…?)

They both were shy at the moment, Darkness suddenly started to undress herself to change her formal clothes to her typical armor she uses. Kazuma noticing that Darkness was undressing herself he rushed to the door.

— Whoa stop there you perverted crusader! At least wait until I get out of the room to change your clothes!

— P-perverted you say?! Y-you were the one who once asked me to wash your b-back without a towel!

(So, she really went there?!)

— And you were the one I caught tied up with her clothes al ripped off at nearly 3 a.m. with the door open, you should change your name to Eroness!

— Waaaahh! Y-you saw it?!

(Oh, shit I really shouldn't have said that…)

Then Kazuma who was expecting Darkness to beat him up, he heard ragged breath and when he turns to Darkness, it looked like Darkness was about to cry.

— W-what´s wrong with you… lately you were being so nice to me… and now…

(Shiieeet! I really screwed up everything this time…)

— I… I´m sorry that I said those horrible things to you… I… I really didn't saw nothing t-that night… I´m sor….

And before Kazuma could finish his sentence…

— O-oi you Eroness…. Give me back my consideration! Just change you clothes already, I´ll wait out of the room…

Kazuma who was exiting the room suddenly felt how a tiny hand grabbed him with such strength.
