Chapter:8 The Sports Festival Part 3

The last matches were already done but Izuku wasn't happy with one of them.

The first is the fight between Ejiro and Tetsutetsu and it was literally a mirror match, they continued fighting till the timer ran out, and Ejiro won by winning in an intense arm wrestling to advance.

But the second one is what he hated as it was between Uraraka and Katsuki.

It wasn't Katsuki that made him mad, Izuku is kinda happy as his former childhood friend could see someone as an equal, but what made him mad is the Heroes that judged Uraraka's performance in the fight that she was weak.

They were cowards if he thought about it, being a Hero isn't all that easy and they expect to be one and won't see a drop of blood in their career. Foolish.

A spar can still be a fight, a competition can still be a fight, a fight where blood can still spill and pain to be felt.

Izuku really wanted to yell at those Heroes of their cowardice, but his homeroom teacher Aizawa beat him to it which he smiled when he saw those Heroes feel ashamed.

But he needs to focus to the goal in mind.

His battle between him and Shoto.

He already walk down to the battlefield along with the bi colored teen as he felt Shoto having trouble thinking.

"Shoto remember clear your mind," Izuku said as Shoto could only nod.

"Begin!"

Shoto focused his Quirk to what he had learned and made icicles from thin air and fired them at Izuku.

Izuku slammed his fist on the ground and with the help of his telekinesis; a stone wall appeared in front of him and blocked the incoming attack.

Shoto then back away as he simply touched the ground and it immediately got covered in ice along with Izuku's feet.

Izuku simply raise his feet to free them and starts to float as he reeled in his fist and shouted.

"Lorg Mór!" He then punched the air as it launched an area of pressurized air like a cannon which is coming right at Shoto.

The bi colored teen immediately made a wall of ice in front of him which took the blast that intended to launch him away.

Suddenly Izuku appeared in front of Shoto's wall with his fist ready to punch the wall to pieces.

"Dragon Fist!" Shoto then saw an image of a dragon appeared behind Izuku as the green haired teen punched the wall to bits.

Shoto then thought of using one of the things he saw from the memories he saw.

"Frossen Tundra!" The air circled around him as Izuku quickly back off when the temperature quickly drops, that is what Shoto needed as he forced the wind away from him as the whole battlefield got covered in frost and ice.

The ice and frost then began to crack open, and grass made of the same material sprout out of it.

"Nordspyd!" He raised his arm upward as the icy grass then stood straight as they grew upwards by waist height.

"Now that's cold! Can Midoriya get out of it!" Present Mic announced.

Izuku quickly jumped away as he keep himself airborne by kicking the air.

"Giant's Armour!" Shoto then stomp the ground as his body is covered by this layers of ice which made his body look blurry .

"What's this! Todoroki covered himself in his own ice!" Present Mic announced.

Izuku saw this as an opportunity to attack by launching himself heads first.

"Midoriya is coming in hot! What can Todoroki do!" The crowd began to feel excitement from this.

The ice around Todoroki suddenly began to crack as the temperature drop more.

As Izuku is halfway their, the ice blew outwards as Izuku got blown away by it and got hit by stray ice chunks, so Izuku used his telekinesis to make a wall behind him so he can't go out the area.

"What just happened!" Present Mic announced as they looked where Shoto was.

There where he once stood is him in an Viking armor made of ice and a large broadsword made of the same material.

"Unbelievable folks! Todoroki used his quirk to make a suit of armor and a sword!" Present Mic announced.

"It is possible as he can make ice, but shaping it to your need is a great achievement," Aizawa said as he is quite impressed.

"Your not serious enough Shoto," Izuku said as kick away the spike of ice for a safe place to stand.

"Let's keep this up for now," Shoto said as he slide along the ice for mobility.

"Then let's go! Armor!" Izuku's muscles then tightened and his shirt got ripped of again as his body is ready for round two.

"Rapier!" Izuku then charge with his hand in a knife hand.

Shoto brought his icy sword over his shoulder and brought it down to block Izuku's attack, and didn't break.

He then swung his blade upwards, but Izuku tilted away from the attack.

"Iron Spike!" Izuku then thrust his elbow to Shoto's armor.

"Isskjold!" Shoto quickly made a circular shield to his unguarded side to block the hit, and kicked Izuku away from him hard.

Izuku is then sent back slightly from the kick as he stop himself by puncturing the ground with his feet.

Izuku then stood straight as he tightened his fist, and jumped high in the air.

Shoto still remembered what the green haired teen did back in USJ as he slams his sword to the ground and shouted, "Separasjonsbreen!"

Then a dome of ice appeared around him as he wait for the upcoming attack.

Izuku then is going down fast with his left leg raised as he shouted, "Hell Axe!"

Izuku's attack connected to the dome's surface and broke through, but he immediately saw Shoto with his right arm took the form of a cannon.

"Crud," Izuku mumbled as he quickly evaded a ball of ice that came from Shoto's arm cannon.

"Man! This fight is getting intense!" Present Mic announced as everyone are really getting excited.

Shoto then fired another shot, but Izuku swat it away with the back of his hand and made a sword out of concrete.

As Izuku got close, the two of them are now battling with their created blades as they clash slash by slash.

"Is that all?" Izuku asked as he blocked another attack.

"Then let's go beyond," Shoto said as his body began to heat up.

"Aegis!" Izuku again toughened his body as he quickly back of when Shoto's body combust in flames.

"Phoenix Flames!" They Shoto's shout as the flames cleared out and his armor is glowing red hot, and a cape of fire hang on his shoulders.

"This is really incredible folks! Both sides are not backing down till one falls!" Present Mic announced as some of the audience are cheering for them.

"This will be the last attack," Izuku said as his aura is growing in size.

"Indeed it will," Shoto said his flames grew stronger.

"Shoto!" Then the two heard the shout of the Number Two Hero: Endeavor as he rants about of accepting 'his' powers, but the two only ignore him.

"Lycan-" Izuku's hair grew longer as the hair on his arms are like fur and his nails are more sharper along with his teeth.

"Verdens-" Shoto's armor then gain spikes and a mane of pure flames.

"Hunter-" Izuku then crouched down with his claws waiting to meet flesh.

"Under-" Shoto's sword then combust as he prepare to strike.

"Fang!"

"Gang!"

"Cementoss!" Midnight called out to her fellow hero as the Cement user nods and created multiple walls between the two.

Both Izuku and Shoto then rushed each other with Shoto bringing down his sword to launch a large stream of flames, and Izuku slashed downwards to make a large flying slash attack.

Both attacks collide on the walls and made a large explosion that covered the entire battlefield as everyone covered their eyes.

The blast then died down as everyone looked to who won, and were surprised to see Izuku standing proudly with burns on his body and Shoto laying on the ground with a content smile on his face as his armor and weapon are broken to pieces.

"Todoroki is unable to continue, Midoriya will advance to the next round!" Midnight announced as everyone cheered really loud.

With Class 1-A, The class were very amazed on witnessing Shoto's flames and Izuku's slight transformation.

"That was awesome!" Ejiro yelled in excitement along with Mina.

"It is really amazing to watch. This is what someone's potential can bloom," Tenya said.

"Go Izuku!" Kyoka cheered for her boyfriend as Denki, who is beside her with bandages around his body and is taking care by Marsha, is also cheering by waving a green flag with the yin-yang symbol on it.

Unbeknownst to them, Katsuki is glaring at the two with hate and jealousy as he clenched his fist and grit his teeth in anger.

'I'll show them.'

"Ah that's much better," Izuku said as his burns are now gone.

He is in the infirmary with Shoto on a bed as they were healed by Recovery Girl.

"Your endless stamina still baffles me," Recovery Girl said.

"Do I need to explain my Quirk again," Izuku joked as Recovery Girl shook her head with an amused smile.

"Just go back to your friends. I can handle your classmate," Recovery Girl said as Izuku jump off his bed and went out to go back to his class.

When he was half way there, his consciousness suddenly went to his mindscape as he is now sitting on a branch with Zen.

"Why did you bring me here Zen?" Izuku asked.

'Because of this,' The wolf said as his body shrinks, his fur turned white, his tail grew larger and fluffier, his eyes turned to what Yin' looks like, and gain a skull mask like the black spirit.

'Hello pup,' His voice now sounds more feminine

"Whoa," Izuku said in amazement.

'It is nice to finally meet you pup. My name is Yang your powers that help you increase your mind,' The white spirit introduced.

"You're more rational than Yin," Izuku said as Yang just rolled her eyes.

'That brute is stubborn as a mule and is bloodthirsty as a hyena. Of course he's not rational because of that thick head of his,' Yang said as she brushed the tip of her tail on Izuku's head.

"So what now?"

'Wake up for now and go watch you friends. I will do something first, so say my name if you need me.'

Izuku then felt a strong pull on his body as he is being pulled to the sky, and he is suddenly back in the real world.

"Well damn," He could only mutter as he went back walking to his seat with his classmates.

"Hey Zuzu. Are you okay?" Kyoka said as she checked her boyfriend's face for ant injuries, despite knowing his body resistance, but she isn't sure when she saw the burns on his body when he battled with Todoroki.

"I'm fine Kyo," Izuku said with a smile.

"So nicknames now huh?" Mina asked with a teasing smile as the two get flustered.

"Well why shouldn't we?" Izuku asked as Mina thought about it.

"Yeah your right," Mina said as she sat back down.

"How did you do that?" Kyoka whispered to him.

"Yang woke up and boost my rational side," Izuku whispered back as Kyoka could only shrug. Him awakening his other spirit is gonna happen eventually and it seems that they are in peace unlike Yin.

"Hey Den-den's match is almost done," Marsha said to the two as they looked at the battlefield and saw Tenya using his speed to outpace Denki's Hiraishin.

Apparently Denki learned to use his Quirk to boost his healing.

Tenya tried to charge at Denki again, but proved ineffective as Denki is much faster and knocked Tenya out by punching him with an electrified fist which gave him the win.

"Well I knew that would happen. There's nothing more faster than light," Izuku said as he heard the crowd cheer.

"Indeed," Momo agreed with him.

"Well my match is next, so see you guys" Marsha said as she and Mina quickly ran to the locker rooms.

"Well ain't she excited," Izuku said as they waited for the next round.

It took an hour for Marsha and Mina's round to start as they now stood on the battlefield, for the match to begin.

"May the best woman win," Mina said.

"Yeah let's," Marsha said as she hand comb her hair as her pet Hoatzin move inside it.

"Begin!" Mina then fired acid from her hands as Marsha quickly evaded it by jumping back, and motioned her left hand forward as giant roots came out of the ground and it are heading to Mina.

The pink girl then fired more acid ti melt away the incoming roots, and began to move in.

"Folha!" Marsha called out as her pet Hoatzin came out of her hair and it immediately transformed to its Wyvern form.

Mina didn't stop moving as she tried to stop the roots by shooting as much acid as she can, bu that was the wrong move as the roots were much tougher and it quickly wrapped her body.

Mina tried to melt the roots, but when Folha appeared in front of her snarling, she knew that she lost.

"I forfeit!" Mina called out as Marsha let the roots go back underground, and Folha go back to its normal form and went back to its perch on Marsha's hair.

"Ashido is unable to continue, Midoriya will advance to the next round!" Midnight announced as the paramedics carried the two girls away for any injuries that they might see.

Marsha's classmates, except Katsuki, cheered for her victory as Izuku and Denki gave the loudest.

"Way to go Marsha!" Izuku cheered as Kyoka clap along.

"Yeah Marsha!" Denki cheered till he cringe in pain since he can't fully heal himself.

'That girl is a force to be reckoned with,' Zen commented as he is quite happy to his host's cousin win.

"Yeah she is, but there are still more to come," Izuku said as he looked upon the sky.

There are still more to go, and he must be ready.

Cause his new powers are waiting for him to unleash it.
