Just an idea that came to mind. Nothing too special ,just short and sweet.

"You know birds are pretty strange creatures." Uzume spoke off handedly as she watched Musubi water the plants along side Kuu.

Minato sat right next to her with a cup of tea in his hands as he turned to her curiously.

"What do you mean by that?" He questioned curiously interested in the odd comment.

"Well, do you know what a cuckoo bird is?" She questioned taking a sip of her own tea. Minato put a finger to his chin in thought trying to recall the bird.

"Aren't they frequently called nest parasites or something of that nature?" He questioned still not understanding her meaning.

"Bingo. They basically invade another birds nest and leave an egg for the other birds to raise." She said she stared up lazily at the sky.

"So...what brought on this weird thought?" He questioned, but Uzume gave him a side glance before closing her eyes.

"When you think about it. Sekirei are kinda similar to cuckoo birds." She said a bit solemnly.

"On the outside we look completely normal compared to the rest of you. In reality though we are aliens no matter how much we look human." As she spoke her voice became softer and softer after each word making Minato strain to hear her voice.

"Even so...you guys are more "human" than the rest of us are combined. I mean you have better understanding of emotions and love...so that makes you more worthy of being human than anybody else." Minato said with slight conviction in his voice.

Uzume hearing this dawned a small graceful smile on her lips as she stared at Minato in admiration.

"Thank you, Minato-kun." She said making Minato look away slightly blushed himself.

"What are you two talking about?" Kusano questioned suddenly staring between the two curiously with a little potted plant in her arms.

"Just about birds." Uzume giggled making Minato snicker lightly. Kusano tilted her head to the side as she watched the two laugh for a moment.

"I don't get it..." She spoke sadly. Seeing her sad he picked her up in his arms with a smile.

"It's ok, it's not important. Wanna help me do some chores before dinner?" He questioned as Kuu lit up with excitement.

"Me too! Me too!" Musubi yelled hugging the two from the side trying not to be left out. Uzume watched the scene before hand with a gentle smile as she stared down at her tea.

The trio walked into the inn as Uzume sat there a bit longer looking up out into the open sky.

"The right to be human...your stranger than us Minato-kun." She said before getting up to enter the inn with a bright smile on her face.
