Chapter One: The Letter

Oletus Manor, 1898

One can only know the impossible things to be possible once you made it. A few years ago, I would've never imagined being outside our Minka. Who would've thought that a person like me would be here? Everything is different! The people, their culture, the way they dress and talk. I can't understand what their conversations are but how they pronounce each word sounds really classy. I'm out of place since it's another continent after all. Same sky, same moon, same stars, but oceans apart. It's a place far away from home, but where is home?

I kept the letter on top of my chest, breathing heavily. It saved me from myself. I was about to end my life when I noticed a letter just beside my bed. It was addressed to me. What was I even thinking? Taking my own life? Death is never the solution! The letter promised me one thing I wanted the most in life. It made me want to live again. It gave me a purpose to continue moving forward.

Will I really see him again? I don't know what kind of game this is, but if it meant being with him again, I don't care. I have nothing to lose anymore.
