So, I think I should explain the sudden name change from BloodWingdAngel to TrashDwellingTroll. I'm almost 30, and created the BWA name when i was 18 and more of an edge lord teenager. I thought about changing my name for awhile, and I one day joked about changing it to TrashDwellingTroll. The joke soon just became so funny to me that I loved the idea, and decided to go through with it. Sorry if anyone was confused by the sudden shift in name.

Anyway, I want to thank everyone who has reviewed the story so far, as well as TimtheVocalist as always for his work on beta reading and co-writing this story, as well as letting me use his characters Jason and Em. Enjoy!

XxXxXxX - Flashback - XxXxXxX

The nervous pacing of Looker was the only movement that was being made in the meeting, his footsteps echoing in the silent room that Wes, Anabel and said agent occupied. Anabel was looking at the table, her eyes wide in shock with her mouth slightly agape, while Looker bore a face that was both one of concern and deep thought. Wes was the only one who was not really showing any emotions, only looking at the wall with a determined stare, as if willing himself to not let anymore fear show after what he just went through.

"But how can that be possible?" Looker finally asked, crossing his arms and stopping his pacing. "Mewtwo... not even we know much about it!"

"And that is what Giovanni said?" Anabel asked, looking at Wes again. "That it was Team Rocket that created Mewtwo!?"

"For the final time, yes", Wes answered her, glaring a little as if the question was getting old. "I can hardly believe it myself, but it makes sense, doesn't it? Who else would want to create something so... powerful."

"It could also explain why Team Rocket was after the Master Ball", Looker realized, turning to the white board where Wes had bullet points of what he had covered in their little meeting. "In this universe, I am guessing Red foiling Giovani prevented him from containing Mewtwo, but in that universe..."

"There was no one to oppose Team Rocket like Red did", Anabel finished for him. "So Giovani got his way, he got his ultimate creation, and somehow from there he learned how to control that power."

"But the problem is, how do we stop it?" Looker asked, his brow narrowing. "No trainer has ever contained the power of Mewtwo, and those that dared to did not do so for long, nor did they convey any information to us that could be of use... not even Red dared to wield the powerful Mewtwo for so long."

"Then who better to turn to than Giovani himself", Wes stated, standing up to full. "I won't be going into Ultra Space again until I can talk to him."

"Hold on just a moment!" Looker shouted at him. "That is not your assignment! You are to travel into Ultra Space, research any and all Ultra Beasts you can find, capturing them for study, and look for our missing Champion! You do not have authorization to change your mission objective!"

"A mission that we already have in progress", Anabel added, looking over at Wes. "I'm sure I don't need to tell you that the International Police is already tracking the whereabouts of Giovani."

"And failing", Wes shot back, earning himself a downcast gaze from the superior officer. "Giovani has been in hiding for years, and those that have seen him did not keep on his trail for long. It's no secret that all your available agents are failing to find Giovani."

"In that case, what makes you so sure that you can find him?" Looker spit, glaring at Wes. "You seem so confident that you can just find out instantly where he is, waltz into where Giovani is hiding, and just ask him about the weakness of Mewtwo!"

"Nayru already sensed Giovani's brainwaves", Wes explained, looking over at Looker. "Despite the two counterparts having different life experience, I have a theory that they are similar enough that their brainwaves should be similar, if not nearly identical. If we are within a close enough range to him, we can pinpoint where he is hiding. Besides, I think I know of a few places where he would be hiding... I highly doubt that he would travel outside of Kanto or Johto, just in case Team Rocket ever attempts a third return."

"And why should we allow this?" Anabel asked, standing up and glaring at Wes herself. "Your mission is-"

"My mission is to find Jason and study the Ultra Beasts", Wes explained. "If Giovani is to impede my progress with Mewtwo, we might as well consider my mission a failure. If I am to complete my mission, I need to find a weakness in Mewtwo and fast, and there is only one man that I can think of that would aid me in that... I would ask the scientists, but most of them were reported to have died in the Pokemon Mansion on Cinnabar Island when Mewtwo escaped, and those that did not die now go under different names, making it almost impossible to know who they are. So, I only have two options... either attempt to battle Team Rainbow Rocket's Giovani, and risk my death-" the icy tone of the word death caused both Looker and Anabel to flinch. "-or, I ask a much weaker Giovani about his ultimate creation."

"...and if this universe's Giovani did not create Mewtwo?" Anabel asked, though her glance as Wes was one that made the statement seemed like she was confirming that Wes had thought of this situation instead of asking.

"Most dimensions, if not all the dimensions I visited, have very many things in common, such as the Pokemon across them all, or the organizations within them. I am 95 percent sure that our Team Rocket also created Mewtwo, and if they didn't, since Mewtwo is a Kanto Pokemon and Giovani was after the Master Ball, I think he would still know something about the beast, or who I can track down that knows something about that thing. It's no secret that a group of former scientists were secretly working for Team Rocket, so they might have ties to Project Mewtwo, or at least some information."

Silence filled the room once again as Anabel pondered Wes' words, though Looker seemed more adamant about not letting Wes go through with it. Finally, Anabel gave a sigh. "Very well."

"But-" Looker began, but Anabel held up a hand to interrupt him.

"If this is what we need to do in order to get Wes back to searching for Jason, then so be it... I don't like it much either, as we have been tracking Giovani for years, and I am not sure if putting Wes on the case as well will lead to any improvements, but it is the best chance we got. However... we cannot waste too much time. The longer we are out of Ultra Space, the more at risk we become to losing Jason for good, especially now that we know Team Rainbow Rocket is out there. I'll give you a week to track Giovani down. If you do not in time, then we have no choice but to send you back into Ultra Space, despite the risk... you'll just need to adapt and see if you can figure out Mewtwo's weaknesses on your own... perhaps bonding more with Necrozma will actually allow you to control it's power better. You did say Necrozma did allow you to escape, so that will be Plan B should you fail to find Giovani within a week."

"Understood", Wes nodded, before turning to the door and walking towards it.

"Where are you going to start?" Looker asked, catching Wes' attention before he made it to the door. "We got our best men already at places like Mt. Ember, the Ruins of Alph, hell even Mt. Silver... do you really think you have an idea of his whereabouts that we did not think of?"

"If I were Giovani, I would want to remain within close range of both Kanto and Johto, as Team Rocket used to have activity in both of those regions", Wes explained. "I believe our best starting point would be Tohjo Falls, which might give me a good idea of where he might be from there. Anyway, if you would excuse me, I will grab my Pokemon and get started right away." Wes opened the door and walked through it, missing the baffled look that both of his superior officers were giving him, shocked at how quickly the younger agent had thought of this thorough of a plan.

XxXxXxX - End Flashback - XxXxXxX

The roar of the speedboat that Wes had managed to get, now that the harbor captain was back to working full time at the docks since he was given a bit of a talking to by Roxie, was almost deafening, not allowing for much conversation between master and student. However it also did not take too long for the boat to arrive at Castelia City, and said student could barely contain her excitement as she leapt out of the boat, a broad grin on her face. "Alright, so first stop will be the gym and then-"

"Not so fast, firecracker", Wes muttered, stepping out of the boat as well. "You just got done with a gym battle. Shouldn't you be taking some time off to rest and train up before leaping headfirst into the next gym?"

"Why should I?" the overconfident trainer shot back, raising an eyebrow in confusion. "Besides, the next gym is the Bug Type one! With Chimchar I can sweep through his team without any issues!"

"Without a fire type move?" Wes replied, which caused Kris' eyes to widen in sudden realization. "Your fire-type is only two days old, need I remind you, and you haven't done any training with him- do not lie to me." Kris stupidly closed her mouth, realizing that her lie was not believed before she even managed to get it out. "Take at least a day to train up, maybe study your opponent a bit better, and for the love of Mew, teach your fire type a fire type move before shooting your mouth off."

With a grumble and a nod, Kris realized that her teacher was right in his statements, and followed him with dragging feet as they began to walk through the city. She couldn't help but realize, however, that as they walked it seemed like Wes was more alert than normal, constantly looking around as if waiting for something to happen. His pace was also sped up, forcing Kris to keep up in almost a power walk, which only got worse as they passed an apple stand with a guy who was muttering to himself about how he kept miscounting his apples. Eventually, they reached the central area of the city, where the rush of the fountain echoed in their ears, accompanied by the whispers of the crowds gathered there.

"What's going on?" Kris asked, looking puzzled.

"You hear about what happened in Pinwheel last night?" came the first sentence, catching both Wes and his young student's ear.

"Must be something big, if they're not letting us cross Skyarrow Bridge..."

"Heard from my bud that the electric measurements are off the charts... at least, he says they were before he got kicked outta the forest by the cops."

"Have you heard about that footprint? It's not possible is it?"

"That light last night... that couldn't have been Zekrom, could it?"

Wes immediately turned and looked towards the whispering crowd, before turning to Kris, a glint in his eye barely visible. "Change of plans, student. Your training can wait, we're going to Pinwheel Forest."

"I- what!?" Kris almost shouted at him, as he walked back the way they came. "B-but why!?"

"Because I said so, now let's go!" Wes commanded. Kris pouted, following after her teacher and once again muttering under her breath, however her mutters soon turned into confusion, wondering what exactly had her mentor so riled up.

"Do you even know what a Zekrom is?" Kris asked.

"A legendary, Electric Dragon Pokemon that is said to be the Pokemon of Ideals, counterpart of Reshiram", Wes replied without missing a beat, causing Kris' jaw to drop. "One of the Tao trio, and-"

"Ok, I get it, you know what it is", Kris muttered, though she did not look disheartened. "Still, I am impressed... how did you know about that anyway?"

"There is a lot I needed to learn before joining the International Police", came the reply. "Although... I beat Zekrom in battle before that happened, so that is how I learned."

"YOU WHAT!?"

For the next ten minutes, Wes ignored his student's demands for an explanation, and her accusations of him lying until they finally reached Skyarrow Bridge's entrance, which sure enough was guarded by a squad of uniformed police officers. Sighing to himself, Wes approached the nearest officer, who immediately held up her hand at him as he approached.

"I'm sorry, sir, but the bridge is closed. I have to ask you to turn around and-"

"That isn't an option", Wes immediately stated, pulling out his leather case with the shiny, silver badge. "Agent Silver of the International Police."

The female officer studied the badge, ensuring it was real, before letting out a light huff. "So, you're him... you're a bit younger than I thought, but... if Iris vouched for you, then I know you're the real deal." She then gave a pointed stare at Kris. "However, it was not reported that you were... babysitting."

"I didn't think I would be either", Wes stated, as Nayru covered Kris' mouth to keep her from saying anything that would result in her arrest (which judging by the muffles, would definitely have happened). "However, certain... circumstances, lead to me becoming her teacher... so, unfortunately, she'll be coming with me into the forest."

The officer nodded, and with a hand gesture, the other officers moved out of their way, giving them clear access. "Very well, sir... you may pass." As Wes nodded and moved to go, however, the officer stopped him for a moment longer, and he could see the obvious distress on her face. "My little girl got her Purrloin back because of him... please... make sure he's okay."

With a nod, Wes ventured forward, followed by a struggling Kris and Nayru. As they crossed the bridge, Nayru kept a firm grasp on Kris' mouth until they finally reached the other side, and only then did she let go of Kris' mouth.

"-and if that bitch wants a fight, I'll give her one!"

"Shut it!" Wes snapped. Kris was about to go off on him as well, but noticed that the look Wes was giving her was a similar one to the one he gave when he was lecturing her after defeating her Snivy with Terra. The three of them ventured a bit deeper into the forest, until finally they stumbled across what Wes had been searching for.

The large footprint that the crowds had mentioned in the city.

"Wow... so that is what a Zekrom's footprint looks like", Kris muttered, shocked that she could stand in its toe without issue.

"Nayru", Wes turned to her. The psychic type turned and began to sense the area, before turning back to Wes with a sigh.

"I think he's resisting psychic calls... perhaps because of the paranoia that could come from Ultra Space"

"Wait, what now?" Kris asked, clearly confused. "What is going on? What is Ultra Space?"

Ignoring her question, Wes sighed, pulling out the black Rotom-Phone. "Then I guess we're going to do this the old fashioned way... please don't be Looker, please don't be Look-"

"Agent Looker here", came the tell-tale male voice. "What can I do to help you, Agent Silver?"

"Arceus-dammit!" Wes muttered with a disgruntled sigh. "Looker, I need Amethyst, pronto."

Looker's brow knit in concern. He knew Wes wouldn't ask for that specific pokemon without reason, but he nodded. "Right. I just need confirmation that this is a US or UB related case."

"A faller fell into Pinwheel Forest", Wes replied, pulling out Yue's Love Ball for the transfer. "The footprint in the area is massive, and it either could be a UB or Zekrom. Either way, Nayru states that the faller is resisting her psychic probing."

Looker gave a sigh. "Normally, I'd say you have to go through the proper paperwork, but..." He began typing on his keyboard nearby. "I can only think of one trainer that isn't a member of the Elite Four or a Gym Leader in any region that has that kind of resisting power. And the mention of Zekrom alone is enough to warrant your right. Access granted. Transferring Amethyst for Yue."

With a nod, the line was disconnected, and the Love Ball in Wes' hand immediately vanished in a flash of blue light, only to be replaced by the strange looking Beast Ball. Kris looked at the ball in confusion for a moment before her eye caught Wes' own. "Kris, how many times have I shocked you since we met?"

"Uh..." Kris thought about it for a few moments. "Yes."

"...just don't scream", Wes requested of her, before throwing the ball. What emerged from the flash of light could only be described by Kris as a purple Beedrill on steroids, with a giant, wasp like stinger sticking out of his purple, large abdomen. Two, T-Rex shaped draconic looking claws stuck out of the creature, and robotic, blue eyes flashed in familiarity as he stared at the police member. Kris did not scream, but she covered her mouth in shock as she fell back, tripping over the pointed end of Zekrom's footprint.

"W-w-w-w-w-what is THAT!?" Kris gasped, pointing at the creature.

"This is a Pokemon, can't you tell?" Wes replied sarcastically.

"No Pokemon I've ever seen!" Kris exhaled, as just looking at the creature was causing her to become short of breath.

"It's not one that you would ever encounter normally, I'll explain later", Wes told her. "Just know that it's called a Naganadel. He's a Poison and Dragon type. Alright, Amethyst, find home." The massive stinger suddenly pointed to Wes, and for a few moments no one said or did anything, before Wes finally sighed, looking irritated. "Not me home! Home, out there!"¹

"What in the name of the almighty heavens is he talking about?" Kris asked Nayru, though her attention was drawn back to Amethyst as he suddenly moved his head in a different direction, and his massive body began to float off. Wes followed after him with haste, and Kris, finally finding strength in her legs, followed.

Amethyst weaved through the trees, pausing only to make sure his master and Kris were following every few minutes. Wes glanced up to the sun through the trees, noting that they were heading towards the northwest. Despite the massive footprint seen on the main path, that was the only physical evidence of the legendary dragon, but the beast leading the way didn't have to rely on that. Finally, after several minutes, Amethyst stopped, pointing its stinger into an opening in the trees. Despite the clear path ahead, the canopy of the forest in front of him was much denser, making it very difficult to see into the secret grove.

"Good... I'm going to return you now, since your presence might freak him out", Wes whispered, recalling the beast into his ball. "Alright, Kris, just follow behind me, and don't-"

It was at that moment that Wes froze in fear. A very loud, very pained-sounding scream filled the air, and the flashbacks of the beast, Guzzlord, filled his brain. In a moment of uncharacteristic panic, the police agent grabbed tightly onto Kris, pulling her from the entrance of the grotto at an extreme speed, fully expecting a black arm or a yellow maw with a blue pit for a center to chase them. But after a moment, he realized that nothing else had happened, save for that scream. Nayru lowered her arm as well, the pink glow that had surrounded it as she readied a Moonblast fading as she, too, realized what her master had, the panic in her face fading. "It's him."

Wes stood up fully, letting go of Kris as if he had not just grabbed his student. Another scream came from the den, but unlike last time, Wes did not react the same and kept approaching. Finally, when the screams died, he cleared his throat and shouted into the den. "You can come out now. I know you aren't a Guzzlord!"

At first nothing happened. Kris looked between her master and Nayru, thoroughly confused but too stunned to make a sound. Then, rustling was heard, and after a moment, a silhouette emerged from the den, and she had to gasp. The man that stepped out was definitely human, that much was certain, but she couldn't believe that he had the strength to stand, let alone walk. His pants - or at least, she assumed from the material that they were a pair of blue jeans - had been ripped up badly, with his entire left leg exposed beneath his thigh and his right leg cut off at his kneed, looking like they had several bite marks in it. His white shirt was stained in a variety of colors, from poison purple to mud brown, and the holes in the fabric showed he had been roughing it in the wild for quite some time. His brown hair was insanely long, flowing down to his mid-back, and his emerald eyes showed a weariness she thought only possible for veterans of war. In his right hand, he held tightly a purple Pokeball, but that was all the detail she could make of it.

"... you're not one of the rainbow men or the weirdo squad", the tired man said, staring at them both. "How did you find me...?"

Wes did not reply, his lips slightly parted and his eyes a bit widened at the appearance of the man. At first, Kris thought he was going to suddenly break into tears, but that thought faded as Wes spoke, his eyes returning to normal. "No, I am a member of the International Police. My codename is Agent Silver, or as you would know me... Wes."

The brown-haired man stared at him, his grip on the ball not changing. Finally, he spoke again. "Silver... Wes... I don't know either name." He looked at the sky again, seeing the sunlight for the first time. "... that's... the sun..." He then looked around, his eyes slowly widening as if he was seeing the world for the very first time. "This... is this... Pinwheel...?"

"This is Pinwheel Forest in the Unova region", Wes replied to him. "In the prime dimension, or... to put it in a language you might understand, a dimension where eighteen years ago, a boy named Jason was born."

The man's eyes suddenly snapped over at Wes, wider than before. The grip on the ball changed, but she could see that it had loosened, not tightened. "... that's... my name..." He gave out a slow, haggard sigh, as he fell to his knees. "Then... I'm... I'm finally safe...? I don't... have to run anymore?"

"The International Police has ensured that no Ultra Beasts can enter this dimension, and if any do, we will know about it right away", Wes replied. He watched Jason for a moment, who was blankly staring at the ground, as if he was a war veteran told that he was finally allowed to go home. Realizing that he had time, Wes pulled out his phone and pressed re-dial, not even letting the women that answered on the other line speak. "This is Agent Silver, I have completed Mission Prime, and will be sending back the UB in exchange for Yue."

"Y-you what!?" Anabel said in shock, as she processed the transfer. "You... you found Jason?"

"Alive and... well, I wish I could say well", Wes darkly replied, as the glow once again changed the Beast Ball back for the Love Ball. "Stage Four, all of his memories other then his most basic ones are gone. He doesn't know who I am, and I doubt he'll remember most of his adventures in Unova, let alone Em or the others."

Anabel thought for a moment, before finally she gave a nod. "Ok, so now that you have recovered him, we can-"

"I can", Wes suddenly snarled, which made Kris jump. She had never heard the tone that Wes had just now, even when he was chewing her out for sending Snivy against Terra. "I already told you that I will not be handing Jason over to the International Police facility! I'm taking full responsibility for his recovery, and this is not up for discussion."

Anabel gave a sigh, before shaking her head. "Fine... but, you are not to contact Em about this."

At that, Wes' expression softened a bit, and the boy gave a slight shiver. "I... don't feel right about that. Something is telling me she deserves to know."

"If and when Jason has recovered enough of his memories, we'll contact her personally", Anabel stated. "Otherwise, you know what will happen if we tell her right now. And I doubt you, your student, or Jason are able to handle that kind of baggage right now."

"You... got a point", Wes muttered, before sighing and admitting defeat. "Fine. I will not contact Em... and just for good measure, I'll wait awhile before telling Rose about this as well. I don't think she'd be able to keep shut about it either."

"I believe that would be best", Anabel said, before nodding and cutting communication. At that, Wes and Nayru exchanged looks, both of them feeling guilty about needing to keep the secret, but at the same time, they both knew that Jason's security and safety was top priority.

"... so what are you planning to do with me, International Police dog?" came the low voice, and everyone turned back to Jason. He had stood up again, his grip on the pokeball in his hand tighter than before. "I may not be going to that facility you mentioned, but that doesn't mean I can trust you."

Wes thought for a moment, before looking at the ball in question. "Zekrom, or Yveltal... either way, I have defeated them both before, and I am way stronger then I was back then... Look, I know you don't remember who I am, but we know each other from a long time ago. I was a student of yours in a school located in the Alola region. Three years ago, you scarified yourself in Ultra Space to protect me and another of your students, Rose. I joined the International Police, primarily to search for you. I am going to help you recover your memories, that is all."

Jason stared at him intently, then at Kris. Then he held up his left hand, and revealed he was holding onto a Beast Ball as well, a slightly manic look in his eye. "I don't trust people, Agent. I only trust Pokemon. And I especially don't trust anyone who use my name so calmly. Only one man has in all my memories that I managed to hold onto, and he tried to take me down." He motioned to them both. "Back off. Go away. Or I release Guzzlord."

"Then can you trust me?" Nayru said, floating forward a bit. "My name is Nayru, and believe me, my master is telling you the truth!"

Jason stared at her, and for a moment, his grip loosened. Then he flinched, gritting his teeth and closing one of his eyes, looking pained. After letting out a growl, he moved his left hand again, the one holding the very real threat inside of the alien-looking Pokeball. "Back off. NOW."

For a few moments, no one moved, and everyone didn't even seem to breathe. Finally, Wes gave a sigh and a shrug. "Alright, suit yourself... come on, you two."

"Wait, what?!" both Kris and Nayru said at the same time, but the heel turn of Wes made them both realize that he was being serious. The trio walked away, leaving Jason to give a huff before he began to retreat back into the wild area that he had emerged from.

"Master, what are you doing!?" Nayru hissed, glaring at Wes. "We finally found Jason and you're just going to-"

"Trust me", Wes stated, turning back to look at where they came from. "If I remember Jason's team correctly from when we were in Ultra Space, he should still have-"

"NAMIRA PUT ME DOWN YOU GIANT COCKROACH!"

"And, there it is", Wes stated, watching as the water bug Pokemon emerged from the forest trees, which earned a gasp from Kris at the appearance of the larger creature. "Hello, Namira. Long time."

Namira shot him a look, and the expression on her face told him that, for sure, she didn't have all of her memories of him either. But she did seem to recognize his scent and voice, and that was enough for her. She held her master under her beefy right arm, and after a few struggles from the man, she lifted him up and put him on his feet, letting out a few growls.

"Go with them?! Are you crazy?! You remember what happened the last time we trusted people, right?!" Jason snapped, glaring at his Golisopod. However, his expression changed as the water-bug type kept growling at him. "... true, that isn't their uniform. But that doesn't mean-" A few more growls stopped him, and he sighed. "... yes, this is familiar. I'm pretty sure he's telling the truth about that." Then there were a few more growls, and his eyes widened a bit, before he smacked her arm. "LANGUAGE!"

"C-can he understand Pokemon?" Kris asked, looking baffled.

"I never asked, but I assume so", Wes replied, watching the conversation that Jason and Namira were having. "I mean, he understands Pokemon so well... unlike me, I usually just have Nayru translate everything."

"Jason is able to understand Namira", Nayru replied, listening to them speak. "I believe bonds with his Pokemon are what allow perfect communication."

After a few more growls, and Jason looking both a bit humiliated and ashamed, the human sighed. "FINE. I'll go with them. But I'm going to send you, Z and Y all back into the PC, understand?" He reached up, gently scratching along the top of Namira's head, which the bug seemed to enjoy quite a bit. "You three especially have fought really hard... you all deserve a nice break." Finally, he pulled out Namira's Nest Ball, and recalled her, the golisopod vanishing into a red light, before he turned back to Wes and Kris, all of his emotion gone now as he glared at them. "Well... I'm assuming you heard all of that. So... I'm in your care, Police Dog."

"You'll be well cared for", Wes replied before turning to the entrance of the thick trees. "Alright then, let's move out team."

¹ - I figured I might as well explain this one, just in case people are confused. In the Pokemon Lore, Ultra Beasts are drawn to people who have passed through an Ultra Wormhole, due to the residual wormhole energy on them, apparently expecting to find a wormhole they can use to return home. Because of this, Amethyst being told to find "home", is him being told to find the Ultra Wormhole energy that fallers will have on them, so in this case, he sensed home coming form Wes and Nayru, and when Wes told him to find the 'other home', he meant the Ultra Wormhole energy coming from Jason.
