I DO NOT OWN ANY CHARACTERS MENTIONED IN TOY STORY. ALL BELONGS TO PIXAR AND DISNEY.
Woody was not just any random toy that hit the shelves in the 1950s. Sure, he looked the same as his predecessors, and other Woody lookalikes from the popular TV show, Woody's Roundup, but he was far from ordinary. From a glance, he sported the identical trademark cowboy hat and sheriff outfit, but this Woody, was different, in fact, it was one of the originals. With an original hand-painted face, a natural dyed-blanket stitched vest, and a hand-stitched poly-vinyl hat, he was a collector's dream. This Woody, has a certain history. Passed down the family from father to son, he was a family heirloom. On a closer look, one could see it had a little extra something. Etched in ink, were four letters, 'A', 'N' 'D' and 'Y' on his right boot. This story in particular, is about Andy's toys, and this is their story.
"To Infinity, and Beyond!" Woody cried out loud, with his arms stretched out into a straight line, like an aeroplane, before he continued his tale, "Then woosh! Up in the air I went, Sheriff Woody saves the day once again!" He pulled his cowboy drawstring, and by coincidence it said, 'You're my favourite deputy!' "Thank you, thank you!" before he took a deep bow.
"Ha. Ha. Ha." Buzz Lightyear mock clapped, "Very funny partner. You're forgetting one important thing. You can't fly." With that, he activated his wings complete with flashing lights. "Star Command, come in. We have an incident involving a fellow citizen. He appears to have lost his suit, and has become delusional from lack of oxygen. Awaiting next orders."
"Who says I'm delusional!" Woody looked around and winked at Bo Peep, before he dragged a toy car to the top of the roller coaster track, and slid down and soared up high into the air. Woody did not plan his landing at all and lost his balance mid-flight. Miraculously he somehow landed on the corner of the highest door frame. "That Buzz, is called 'Flying in Style.' Beat that!"
"Great work, but how do you suppose you're going to fly down? Free-fall?" Buzz shouted above to Woody, who was clearly not faring well, as he clutched onto the door frame with everything he had, in fear of falling.
Everyone laughed at Woody's antics, especially cowgirl Jessie, who rolled on the ground and clutched her stomach from laughing too hard. "Fine. You win. Traitors the lot of you." Woody laughed with them.
"Well I thought it was rather brave of you. My hero." Bo Peep gave Woody a little peck on both his cheeks as soon as he had safely landed on the ground.
"Some advice Partner, I'd stick to the ground if I were you. Gravity is not your friend." Buzz told Woody.
"Oh, come off it Buzz, live a little!" Woody laughed, and gave him a nudge.
"Star command, come in. This is Buzz Lightyear reporting for duty. The fellow citizen is now contained and will be monitored closely for any further signs of delusional activity."
Woody whispered to Jessie and Bullseye, "Keep an eye out for Buzz. I think he's become delusional with relaying his rendezvous with star command."
"Aye, Aye, Sheriff Woody! You can count of Jessie, your second in command." Jessie took the stance of a mock salute.
"Oy! I heard that." Buzz yelled from the other side of the room.
