Marco and Star walked through the town, the bustling of various villagers filled the air as the two walked through the marketplace and towards the tavern where the adventures guild was. Star was in aww at the various goods and foods for sale with all the merchants as they walked.

"Wow, this is the first time I've seen so many people in town. Usually, I come at night to buy stuff, or the people run in fear of me.."

Marco rubbed the back of his head. "Yeah...well, your pretty..imposing when you're a dragon."

After a short walk, they made it to the tavern, home of the adventurers guild. Marco took a deep breath as they stood in the entrance, the dragon's skull from Star's tower wrapped in a cloth as he opened and walked through the swinging door. The tavern was bustling with patrons, many drinking and enjoying food as they talked and shared tales of their adventures and woes. Once Marco had stepped inside with Star in tow, eyes began to gaze towards him, and the bustling sound of merriment slowly began to fade as the room filled with all but silence and whispers. Marco steadied himself walking up to the counter where a young woman is stationed.

"Ahem, Ch...Chantal... I um...finished my quest.." Marco blushed as Star grinned, slamming down the giant skull and removing the cloth.

Chantal Stood wide-eyed, dropping her guild stamp as her jaw nearly fell off, other patrons all gasping as the sight of the dragon's skull. She reached back down, grabbing her stamp as her eyes were fixed on the skull before reaching into one of her many drawers and pulling out Marco's guest posting. With a loud thud, she stamped it with the guilds official "Completed" Stamp before handing it to Marco.

"Q...Quest complete..your..reward.." She reached down again, pulling out a heavy pouch of gold coins and setting it in front of Marco. "Ill...just go..send this back to HQ." with that, she walked off as Marco grabbed his reward, turning to see everyone gathered around and staring intensely at him.

"Um...I.I'm back..?" After a long numbing silence, the room erupted into a thunderous cheer.

Patrons were raising their mugs in joy as some lifted Marco. "LET'S HEAR IT FOR THE DRAGON SLAYER! THE LAND IS FINALLY FREE!" A roar of cheer erupted as they set Marco back down, all sorts of adventures rushing up to shake his hand and ask for him to join their groups. Many declines and apologies later, Marco was able to make his way to a table with Star as he sat down with a sigh.

"Wow...i didn't think people would be so happy to be rid of me.." Star scoffed as Marco Blushed.

"Well...I mean, I'm glad your still here."

Star couldn't help but blush and smile as he giggled. "Your such a doof."

As Star looked around, she noticed a woman walking over to the table. she had sky blue eyes and sandy blond hair with a small blue streak running down it.

"Hey, Marco! Dude I'm so impressed, I didn't think you the hero type." She set down to large mugs of Mead. Star looked over at Marco and saw his face dark red, his whole body trembling.

"Yeah, well... I mean..i you know..a hero..yeah.." The woman gave him a concerned looked bedding down onto the table, her barmaid outfit revealing her well-endowed assets as Star could feel Marco's heart pounding through the table.

"SO Marco..how did you do it!? I want to hear the whole epic adventure."

Others sitting around cheered in agreement as he stuttered before Star took the reigns. "I'll gladly tell it!"

Star grinned, standing on the table. "Of how Marco here slew the dragon and saved me from its vile lair!"

Star began to tell her previous tale of bravery as Marco valiantly saved her from the dragon, every work putting the patrons on the edge of their seats as they listened. "And that is how Marco beheaded the vile beast and won both my heart and hand as his new companion." Star grinned as Marco fidgeted in his seat, blushing, hoping that the people didn't see through her story as his parents did. After a moment of silence, the tavern erupted again in cheer as they all toasted Marcos's name.

"Wow, dude! I'm impressed, slaying the dragon and saving Star at the same time? Marco Diaz, you've earned yourself a treat, on the house have as much as you want." she gave Marco a wink as he gulped.

"Th...Thanks J..Jackie" Marco stuttered, opening his mouth to talk before a patron called the girl over. "Well, later dude, work calls; great to meet you, Star, see you later, Marco!" She waved before walking off to other tables to continue her work.

Star grinned, planting her elbows on the table as she rested her head in her hands. "Soooooo..you gonna tell me about her?" Star smiled as Marco scratched his head.

"Th...That's Jackie Lynn Thomas...her family, owns the tavern here, or at least her mom does. Her father is a big shot in the adventurers guild, which is why they build it here in the tavern; he oversees this town's chapter."

Star nodded, "I see...AND you have like a HUGE crush on her?" Marco jumped a bit, turning red as he turned away from Star.

"I mean..you know..she so gorgeous..and so cool.. I mean, she also takes on much higher rank adventures than me.." Star took her mug of Mead and chugged it down.

"So she is an adventurer? how long have you known her?" Marco scratched his chin before taking a sip of his Mead.

"Well... We have known each other since we were kids..the towns not that large, so many of us grew up together."

"You can say that again." An unknown voice laughed as Star and Marco jumped in surprise at the girl sitting on the table in front of them. "Sup, Marco." She smiled, grabbing his Mead and chugging it down herself.

"Janna.." Marco rolled his eyes as she tossed aside Marco's now empty mug before calling for a new one.

"Umm, who are you?" Star asked as Marco sighed.

"Star, this is Janna, her family owns the alchemy shop here in town."

Janna rolled her eyes. "They sell more than potions, you know, I get all sorts of sweet, spooky things from my family's contacts..and my adventures." She smirked, pulling out a skull from her bag. "So, you're an adventurer too?"

Star looked up as she smiled. "Yup, Me Jackie and Sabrina are all quests together when we are free."

Star's eyes widened. "Really? I bet you guys see SOOOO Many cool things."

Janna laughed, "Got that right." So what's your story, Star? You an "Adventurer?"

Star smiled. "Well, not officially, but Marco said we could group together for adventures once I get registered, and I'm staying with his family here since...well mine lives a long way away from here."

Janna hopped off the table between Star and Marco. "Sweet, so..what's your class?" Star gave her a confused look. "Class?" Janna scoffed a bit, "Duh, you know..whats your profession?"

Marco butted in clearing his throat. "Star's going to register as a Mage; she knows magic after all." Janna smiled, turning towards Star.

"Sweet, you know there are all sorts of rituals I've been dying to try that need a mage. Wanna help me sometime?" As Star was about to gladly agree, Marco, butted in again.

"I think its best you wait till she registers first Janna, besides I've seen the kind of "Rituals" your into, and they are far too dangerous."

Janna getting bored shrugged. before starting to walk off. "Eh, whatever, I'll talk to you later, Star, and you're welcome to change your mind about my offer Marco." Star looked at Marco, confused as he turned back to their table.

"I said no, Janna.." Janna laughed, "Youll agree eventually Marco, Cuz I got your house keys." She grinned, holding up his keys before disappearing into the crowd of patrons.

"Uggg, Janna!" Star laughed before turning back to the table. "Wow, she is soo cool!"

Marco rolled his eyes. "If you say so.." Star wrapped her arm around Marco, pulling him next to her. "Come on, Marco! Its a party! Why don't you loosen up a bit and enjoy! you earned it, after all!" She reached and grabbed another Mug of Mead, setting it in front of him as Marco looked down before smiling." Y..yeah..your right." He picked up his mug before taking a big gulp as Star grinned, toasting her cup against his before chugging down her drink. "To Marco!"

The night carried on as Star and Marco enjoyed themselves, having all sorts of food and drinking as folks all came up thanking and congratulating Marco on his victory. Unfortunately, as Star learned, Marco's tolerance for Mead was vastly smaller than hers as she soon found him red-faced and drunk after only a few. Deciding it was probably best to get him home, she thanked and waved goodbye to all the patrons as she wrapped Marco's arm around her helping keep him upright and steady. After fumbling pointlessly for a bit out, the tavern star just sighed and picked Marco up, carrying him with ease bridal style as he hiccuped.

"ThANks, StaR," Marco mumbled with a smile. 'My WHolE woRld iS SpiNnInG.." Marco groaned softly as she walked out of the town gates and towards his home.

"Its nothing, though now I know to make sure you stick to water and two meads." Star giggled as Marco wrapped his arms around her neck.

"Your so caring!" he nuzzled happily against her, making star blush.

"Geez, Marco, you're a cutie even when your drunk."

Marco grumbled, "I'm not..im a strong warrior...i wanna be strong then EVERYONE won't call me safe boy anymore..and Jackie...Jackie.." Marco rested his head against Star's breasts, mumbling incoherently to himself as Star giggled.

After finally making it home, Star was greeted by Angie, who saw Marco in his drunken state. "Oh my! Did Marco drink too much?"

Star nodded. "S...Sorry Mrs. Diaz, the tavern kinda turned into a party after we turned in that quest.."

Angie sighed. "Well, its all right, thankfully Marco is quite the affectionate drunk, tho its pleasant to see he made it home this time in one piece. Last time that Janna got her hands on him and it took nearly a week for his skin to turn back to normal." Angie walked overtaking Marco from Star's arms and taking him into hers as she held him, Marco, nuzzling against her mumbling how comfy it was as Star grinned, nearly squealing.

"Awwww, he such a cutie." She giggled, leaning in to plant a kiss on Marco's cheek. "Sleep well, Marco."

Angie smiled as she carried Marco upstairs, gently tucking him into his bed before coming back downstairs. "Star dear, its been quite a night, would you like to take a bath? I just filled it and got it heated up."

Star smiled, "Ohhh, a bath sounds soooo good right now." Angie giggled before leading her to the back of the house where their bathroom was. The large stone tub was big enough for two or three, sitting right beside a small spot for showering. Underneath the stone tub was a small spot for wood, a little fire burning beneath to keep the water hot with a pile of sticks and small logs sitting against the wall.

Star undressed, setting her clothes in one of the small baskets before slipping into the tub. Most homes in the city had general plumbing and used special magic crystals for things like heating and water, but they didn't have access to it since they were outside the town. Not that Star mind at all, the feeling of a wood fire bath to her couldn't compare. Once Star was settled looed and saw Angie undoing her clothes before stripping down. Star couldn't help but turn red, unable not to notice Angie's slender and toned body. Angie walked up, dipping her toe inside before sliding into the tub across from Star.

"It's so nice to have someone I can share a bath with and do a little girl talk with as well." Angie giggled as Star smiled, looking away as Angies "Assets" floated above the water. Noticing Star's embarrassment, Angie laughed. "Oh, Star, no need to be shy; you have plenty of growing yourself to do, you know." Star smiled, feeling warmed by her complement as Angie reached over to a small basket by the bath, grabbing a handful of herbs and tossing them in the tub. "So? won't you tell me how things went in town?"

Star smiled as she began telling Angie about there trip, meeting Jackie and Janna, the town loving the story she told about Marco's quest, all the kind and joyful people there.

Angie laughed. "Well, I'm glad they were easier to convince than his father and me."

Star smiled, "Yeah, I was a touch worried, but they all seemed to be more relieved that...well...you know.." Star trailed off, lowering her head into the water. Angie scooted herself around, sitting next to Star.

"Star..i has been meaning to talk to you about that." Star looked over concerningly as Angie gave her an assuring smile. "We both talked about it and well..while your...relationship, with Marco, is well..unusual to say the least, we're happy to have you stay here with him with our blessing."

Star smiled, "Really?"

Angie nodded, 'Now that's not to say we would ask that you get to know him with your time together if you want to be with our son. His father and I want grandkids badly, but we still want Marco to be happy who he ends up falling in love with." Star blushed a bit, feeling embarrassed as she nodded slightly, understanding that in Marco's shoes, she would want the same opportunity her self. "But the main thing we both want is for you to promise to keep him safe on his adventures."

Star perked up a bit, giving Angie a confused look. "You mean you WANT Marco going on quests and adventures?" Angie cleared her throat. "Well..no..Marco is..while very skilled as swordsmanship and self-defense..he's also a very gentle person, as I'm sure you know."

Star blushed "Yeah...Marco was so embarrassed when he stormed into my tower and saw me..not to mention how reluctant he was to fight me..he listened and understood my story and position in it all..not like the other knights who just wanted to kill me for fame and glory.

Angie looked upwards, dipping her head under the water before coming back up. "We want our son to be able to have a better life than just being stuck here, herding sheep on our farm his whole life. Going out on adventures and quests will give him a chance me and his father never had to see so many places and broaden himself."

Star sat herself up, scooting closer. "Mrs. Diaz, please, I promise to protect Marco, but at least let me use all my treasure and fortune to help you and Mr. Diaz, I mean what good is my gold if it's just wasting away... besides..you know.." Star blushed as Angie gave her a curious smile. "I like to think..one day well be..you know..family too.." Angie smiled, reaching over and pulling Star into her lap, her head resting against Angie's soft breasts as Star blushed dark red. Angie kissed Star's forehead giving her a tight hug. "Star, your very sweet, you know..if it will really make you feel better, we could use some improvements around the house, especially to better accommodate you and Marco's new arrangement together." Star smiled as she nuzzled against Angie, hugging her back before hopping off Angie's lap and standing up.

"Thanks, Mrs. Diaz." Star smiled as Angie stood up herself.

"Thank you, Star, it was nice to be able to have a little company, feel free to join me for a bath anytime." She said with a smile as she walked over to grab her towel, her hips swaying as she walked before wrapping her towel around herself. Once Star dried off and grabbed her clothes, she headed upstairs to Marco's room, opening the door to find Marco out cold. As she walked over to the bed, she noticed the tent poking up from the sheets as she giggled. Star lifted the cover's letting her tail come free as she let out a sigh, not having to maintain her magic to keep it hidden. She snuggled up right beside Marco, letting her tail rest between them as Marco wrapped her arms around her tail.

"Mmmmm...warm.," he grumbled softly as Star giggled, giving his stiff member a playful stroke. "I'll take care of YOU in the morning." She laughed, kissing Marco on the cheek before snuggling against her tail as well.

"Goodnight, Marco." She whispered before drifting off to sleep herself.
