I have been given permission to write Jinchuriki Trainer, and I hope you all enjoy it. Now, lets go.

Chapter 1

(?)

Naruto and Will were floating in a really strange place, and it looked a bit like an empty void.

"What is this place Naruto?" Will asked him in curiosity.

Naruto shook his head, and replied "I've no idea Will. But it definitely has a powerful feel to it, and it feels strange too."

["Yeah, and it made me into a strange looking creature,"] they both heard a gruff sounding voice say.

When they looked where they heard the voice, they saw something that both of them had never seen before.

It was a small, quadruped, fox-like creature. It has an orange pelt and a cream-colored underbelly. It has brown eyes, large pointed ears that are dark brown inside, and a triangular dark brown nose. Its paws look slightly darker than the rest of its pelt and light brown paw pads. On the top of its head, there are three curled locks of orange fur with bangs, and orange tails that have curled tips.

"Kurama, is that you?" Naruto asked him in wonder.

["Of course it's me brat,"] Kurama told him. ["Who else would it be?"]

"Sorry about that buddy," Naruto said as he rubbed the back of his head. "I didn't recognise you in your new form."

Kurama gave a huff, which caused small bits of flame to exit his mouth as he did.

"So what are you anyway?" Will asked, with a curious look on her face.

Before Kurama could give a snappy retort, they heard a voice that commanded respect say, ["He is a Pokemon, known as a Vulpix"] and the three of them saw something that took them completely by surprise.

Before them was a giant looking being. It was a white equine, resembling a qilin or centaur with a gray, vertically-striated underside. The striated pattern seems to have similar recurrences on the underside of its mane, tail, and face. He has four pointed feet tipped, with gold hooves. It has a long mane that juts away from its head, and his face is a gray colour, with green eyes and red pupils, along with a green circular pattern below its eyes. He also has a streak of gold coloration on its head, and ears that point upward.

Its neck is fairly long, two pairs of extrusions to the sides, and a flap-like feature on the underside of his neck that is colored white like much of its body. The being also has a golden cross-like wheel that's attached to its body by its round abdomen, with the wheel also having four jewels attached to it. The pattern of striated gray on it's underbelly resumes past his waist. Its limbs have gray undersides and extrusions at the tops of the legs. His tail is fairly like its mane in terms of shape and coloration.

"Who are you?" Naruto asked him.

["My name is Arceus, and I am the god of the world of Pokemon"] the being, revealed to be named Arceus told them. ["I have taken your powers now that you're entering my world, so that you don't disturb the balance in it. In exchange, the two of you"] he said referring to Naruto and Will. ["I have given you the ability to communicate with Pokemon."]

["What about me? Why am I such a weakling?"] Kurama demanded to know.

Arceus glared down at him, which caused Kurama to cower at the powerful look, as he told him ["Considering your past, be lucky that I'm even letting you enter my world."]

Kurama gave a shudder, as he believed this god-being could have erased him if it so desired.

"So what happens now, Mister Arceus?" Will asked him.

Arceus looked at Will, and explained ["I will be sending the two of you, and your companion, to a small town called Pallet Town. Here is where you will live, and grow as you study about Pokemon."]

Naruto gave him a curious look, as he asked "Why do we need to learn about these Pokemon?"

Arceus gave what sounded like a sigh, and said ["Once you meet some Pokemon, I'm sure that you'll understand. Now when you arrive in Pallet Town, you'll be deaged to eight years old. I wish the both of you good luck"]

Before they could retort about being kids again, a portal opened up and sucked them and Kurama through it.

Arceus then said to himself, ["I just hope that they can stop Team Rocket."]

(In a forest)

The portal opened up, and spat the three of them out then closed back up again.

"Ow, that was not pleasant at all" Will groaned out, as she laid on her back.

Naruto sat himself up, and nodded in agreement saying "Yeah no kidding."

Kurama stood up, then shook the dirt off himself and said ["Well brats, looks like we're in a world that is pretty strong in nature."] He then gave a fanged grin, and added ["I like it."]

They then faintly heard what sounded like fighting, and looking at each other they ran in the direction they heard it coming from.

After running for a few minutes, they came across what looked like a lab being attacked, by about 50 people wearing some sort of uniform.

The female's uniform was a simple black skirt with a large red "R", a belt, long sleeves, black knee-length boots, and black gloves that went up to the forearm. The male's uniform was the same except that it has pants and a shirt instead of a dress, and the boots only go up halfway to the knees. And all of them were wearing black hats.

They were also using different sorts of Pokemon to attack the place, and though the three of them could see other Pokemon defending the lab, they could tell they were losing ground.

Will gave a look of worry, and asked "What do we do? How can we help them?"

Naruto started thinking, "We only have Kurama, and our ability to talk to Pokemon."

Kurama then said ["Why don't you just ask some of the Pokemon in the forest for help?"]

Naruto and Will both blinked their eyes at the idea.

Will then gave a smile, and said with an impressed tone "That actually sounds like a good idea."

["And what does that mean exactly?"] he said, in a mad tone.

They then heard someone near them say, "Once we have Professor Oak subdued, we'll go into the forest and capture every Pokemon in there. Right, Ben?"

"My names Butch, not Ben. And yes we will indeed" they heard someone reply. Naruto and Will hated hearing that, and Kurama wanted to rip them to shreds.

"Come on you two," Naruto said to them both. "We need to start recruiting some help. So c'mon, let's go" and he ran off to look for some strong and powerful looking Pokemon, with the other two following him.

They found quite a few Pokemon, that was enough to be a small army. They found a Nidoking and Nidoqueen, an Arcanine along with some Growlithe, a herd of Kangaskhan, a few Mankeys, and a flock of Pidgeys, Pidgeottos and Spearows.

They also found a few Rhyhorns, some Beedrills and Butterfrees, some Weepinbells and Glooms and quite a few Poliwhirls.

They asked all of them for help in getting rid of the bad people attacking the lab, with them all giving out shouts of agreements.

As everyone was getting ready, the Growlithes had approached Kurama and offered to teach him a few moves to fight with. He gave a nod of agreement, and was soon learning some Pokemon moves.

Naruto turned to them, as one of them said ["Do it like this, okay"] and he turned, just as Kurama fired off a stream of fire.

The Growlithes were very impressed, as one commented ["It looks like we have ourselves a natural."]

Arcanine was supervising, and commented ["You just skipped Ember, and went right to Flamethrower, I'm impressed."]

Kurama gave a smirk, and said ["I'm really going to enjoy this fight."]

He also learned how to use Bite, Headbutt and Quick Attack with Naruto watching, so that he'd know what moves Kurama could use to fight.

They noticed what looked like the leader of the Kangaskhan, had a small mouse like Pokemon in it's pouch, which they found out was called a Pichu. The Kangaskhan then puts Naruto and Will into her pouch, as they all charged towards the lab.

["Stay in here"] she told them, as all the Pokemon ran.

Pichu looked uncomfortable, as he said ["I need more room."]

Will told him, "You can sit on my head if you want" which Pichu gave a nod of thanks to, and climbed up.

He then held on, and said ["Now this is much better, thanks."]

"No problem, glad to help" Will replied with a smile.

It didn't take long, before they noticed the lab coming into view. All of the Pokemon gave different calls, as they burst through the trees and attacked.

This caught the thieves by surprise, and they didn't have time for a counter attack. Some of them tried fighting back, but they were overwhelmed by the numbers.

They were all freaking out, that these Pokemon were attacking them. And it was almost unheard of that an army of different Pokemon was attacking them.

They see two kids yelling out orders from a Kangaskhan's pouch yelling out words of encouragement.

One of the grunts said, "Those kids must be the ringleaders" and then turned to see one of the leaders of the operation walk forward.

"Miss Cassidy, what should we do?" he asked her.

She sneered, as she replied "I'll take those blasted kids out is what I'll do. Cloyster, blast that Kangaskhan with a Hydro Pump."

Said Pokemon did so, which knocked the Kangaskhan over, causing Will and Pichu to fall out.

One of the grunts tried to grab Will, but Pichu jumped on him and yelled out ["Back off, you meanie"] and gave him a shock, which knocked him out.

Will then checked on Pichu, and asked him "You okay there buddy?"

He gave a nod, and replied ["Yeah I'm fine, so long as you're okay."]

Will gave a nod back saying "Yeah I'm okay, thanks to you."

They then see more grunts running towards them, but Kurama jumps in front and attacks them with Flamethrower. This caused them to all run off, while on fire.

He then looked at them, and commented ["Not a bad job squirt"] to Pichu.

The grunts were surprised at what they were seeing.

"I've never seen a Vulpix that looked like that before," one of them commented.

Another one said "Let's catch it for the boss."

Naruto ran over to help Kurama fight them, and to check on Will.

"You okay?" he asked her and Pichu.

They both nodded, with Will answering "Yeah we're both fine thanks."

The grunts pulled some of their Pokemon out, which were: Raticate, Arbok, Golbat, Kababra, Geodude, Grimer, Koffing and Pinsir to try and gang up on Kurama. But unfortunately for them, the Pidgeys, Pidgeottos and Spearows flew down and attacked them and their Pokemon.

This caused all of them to retreat, with some of the Pokemon chasing them making sure they did leave. Naruto and Will were having a mini celebration with Kurama and Pichu, when they noticed an elderly man leaving the building and was walking over to them.

He had a look of surprise, since he'd watched everything through the windows of his lab. Once he reached them, he asked them both "How did the two of you do it? How'd you convince all of these Pokemon to fight against Team Rocket?"

Naruto and Will just looked at each other, though thinking the other would answer him. They both looked like they came to a mental agreement, turned back to him and simply said "We asked them to help."

This shocked him completely, before he shook it off and said "Well however it happened I'm just glad they were driven off. Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Samuel Oak but most people just call me Professor Oak."

"Nice to meet you Professor, my name is Naruto Namikaze and this is my friend Will Vandom" Naruto said as he introduced himself and Will.

The Professor then asked them "Where are your parents? They might be getting worried about you."

They both gave sad looks, with Will replying "We have no parents."

This took him by surprise, before he gave them a look of sadness and pity. "Sorry about that," he told them. He then gestured towards his lab, and asked "Why don't the both of you come into my lab, and have something to eat and drink?"

They both gave nods, and after waving goodbye to all the Pokemon that were heading back into the forest, started walking to Oak's lab with Kurama and Pichu following them.

The Professor had quite a shocked look at the colour of Kurama/Vulpix, and that a wild Pichu had warmed up to Will so quickly.

(About an hour later)

Naruto, Will and the two Pokemon had just finished having some lunch made by the Professor, and they were stuffed full.

Professor Oak had also been on the phone twice, and kept glancing back at them a few times.

Naruto and Will found it very curious, but knew they'd find out eventually. After finishing his second phone call, Prof. Oak walked over to them and said "Okay, since you have no parents I've set you up with some people that I know will take good care of you both."

They both looked at him in shock, surprised that he'd do this for two kids that he'd just met.

Getting over their shock, Will was the first to ask "So who's going to be looking after us?"

Oak gave a smile, and replied "My daughter Rose and her husband Blue shall be taking care of you Will. And a friend of mine, named Delia Ketchum, will be taking care of you Naruto."

They gave nods at what he told them, with Naruto then asking "Do they have any kids of their own for us to hang out with?"

The Professor replied "My daughter does yes, she has two children. My grandson Gary, and granddaughter Daisy who are about your age. Delia on the other hand, her husband died of an illness last year and she's been looking for a child to adopt ever since."

They gave a sad nod at Delia's loss, but at least they were glad to have some other kids their own age to talk to and hang out with.

About 10 minutes later, while they played with Pichu (since Kurama wasn't the playing type), they heard the door to the lab opening.

They looked over, and saw three grown ups (a man and a woman together, and a lone woman) with two kids with the couple. They saw the kids, and went over to introduce themselves.

The family of four introduced themselves first, "Hello there. My name is Rose, and this is my husband Blue. And these are our children Daisy and Gary." The two kids gave a wave hello.

The woman by herself then stepped forward, and said "My name is Delia and I'm so glad to meet you." She then knelt down and gave Naruto a hug.

Naruto, never having had a mum or a hug before, got a bit emotional and started crying into her shoulder as he hugged her back. Delia started rocking herself as she spoke soothing words into his ear, while the others watched.

After Naruto calmed down, he then said "It's nice to meet you too. And this is my friend Kurama," and he showed them Kurama who was watching everything.

Delia gave a smile, and said "What a nice looking Vulpix, and a unique colour too." She then walked over and scratched his head. This took him by surprise, before he leaned into it.

["This is nice,"] he thought. ["I could get used to this."]

Gary then stepped forward, and asked "Are you going to become a Pokemon trainer when you get older?"

Naruto and Will then said together, "What's a Pokemon trainer?"

This took everyone there completely by surprise, since everyone in the world knows what one is.

They then explained what a trainer does to them, and how many Pokemon they can carry at a time.

This made Kurama very excited, as he jumped up at Naruto saying ["Brat I think you being one would be a good idea. Then you can make me as strong as possible."]

Professor Oak was very surprised at this Vulpix reaction, especially since most Vulpix are quite docile.

Naruto and Will looked at each other, and had what looked like a mental conversation to those watching. After a while, they both nodded and Naruto said "Being a trainer sounds like fun. And we both already have our first Pokemon to start our journey with." Kurama stood next to Naruto, while Pichu climbed onto Will's head.

Professor Oak then gave a smile, and told them "As excited as you two are you have to wait until your sixteen before you start your Pokemon journey."

They both calmed down a little at hearing that, but still looked excited about being trainers.

Daisy then said, "Well I think it's a good idea to head on home, and get these kids settled into their new homes. Thanks again for calling us Dad," and shook the Professors hand.

The Professor gave a smile while saying, "Not at all my dear, just glad to help."

They then all walked out of the lab as a group, and didn't notice a Pokemon hiding in the trees as they walked away.

This was the Legendary Pokemon, known as Mew and she was most interested in Naruto. ["This boy intrigues me,"]she thought as she watched them walk into town. She then teleported away, to think more about this mysterious child.

(A few years later)

Naruto was now 11 years old, and he was walking home from school. Will, Daisy and Gary had run on ahead to get back home, while he preferred to walk.

Life for Naruto and Will was great, they were learning plenty about Pokemon and they had great families. Gary was a little arrogant at times, but he was an okay friend. Daisy was a really nice girl to hang out with, and she was quite helpful at times too.

Blue and Rose were great parents for Will, and the same for Delia with Naruto. They were strict when they needed to be, but at the sametime fair.

As Naruto was walking past an alleyway, he heard a meowing sound coming from it.

He then went into the alley, and found a baby Meowth inside a basket along the wall. He kept on meowing, which made Naruto think that he was hungry.

He walked over towards him slowly and carefully, so as not to spook the little fella.

The Meowth then saw him walking over, and said to him ["Go away."]

Naruto then knelt down, and said "I'm not going to hurt you little guy." Then Meowth's stomach rumbled, which made him say ["Hungry"] as he held his stomach.

Naruto then had an idea, took his backpack off and reached inside it. He then pulled out a tuna sandwich, with the smell making Meowth's nose twitch and his head to turn to where the smell was coming from.

Naruto then held it out for him saying "If you want, you can have this. I forgot to eat it at lunchtime, but you can have it little guy."

Meowth carefully got out of the basket, and cautiously walked over to Naruto holding the sandwich. Once he was close enough, Meowth took the sandwich from Naruto's hand and started scarfing it down.

Naruto just sat there, as Meowth wolfed the tuna sandwich down. After he'd eaten the sandwich, he walked closer to Naruto sniffing him, as though to find more food on him.

Naruto carefully patted Meowth's head, with Meowth liking it after a while and leaned towards him for some more. Naruto then picked him up carefully, put his bag over one of his shoulders and resumed walking home as he scratched Meowth's head who started purring soon after.

"Let's get you to my house, for some more food, little fella" he said to the Pokemon as he left the alleyway.

Meowth just nodded his head, liking the sound of that.

It took Naruto about 30 minutes of walking, before he arrived back home. He opened the door, and went inside while shouting out "I'm home."

Delia then came from the kitchen wiping her hands, while she said "Welcome home sweetie. And how was school?" Kurama jumped off a couch to see Naruto too.

Naruto took his shoes off replying "It was okay. And on my way home I found this little guy in an alley, inside a basket."

He then showed them both the Meowth he was carrying.

Delia looked surprised, but she then gave a smile as she was happy that he helped a Pokemon that was in need.

Kurama asked, ["What's with that Meowth?"] wondering why he was carrying it.

He gave a light frown at Kurama, and told him "Be nice. He's only an orphan."

Delia gave a scratch behind Meowth's ear, which it loved as it started purring.

Kurama frowned, then asked Meowth ["You hungry little guy? Naruto's mum makes the best food ever, so your in for a real treat."]

Meowth then looked at Naruto, and said ["Naruto?"] as though asking if that was his name.

Naruto nodded, as he said "Yep that's my name, I'm Naruto."

Meowth then rubbed himself against Naruto, as he purred and said ["Naruto friendly."]

Naruto gave him a stroke, and replied "Yep I'm really friendly" with a smile on his face.

Naruto and the two Pokemon then went to his room, so that he could do some homework. It was about 30 minutes later that Delia shouted that dinner was ready, and they all went downstairs.

They walked to the kitchen to get some dinner, and after they'd eaten Naruto asked "Mum can I go and see Gary and the girls? I want to show them Meowth."

Delia gave a nod, and said "Of course sweetie. Just make sure that you do your homework while you're there please" as she reminded him that he still needed to finish off his homework.

After dinner, he took Meowth round to the Oak house and showed him to the girls and Gary. Meowth was hesitant around them, but he eventually warmed up to them. Naruto also told them how he found Meowth, which they didn't like to hear.

They all did their homework, and once finished they played with each other, Meowth and Pichu. Once it started getting dark, Naruto walked back home with Meowth walking next to him.

Once he got back home, Naruto then read a book in his room while Meowth and Kurama played together before they had to go to bed.

After cleaning his teeth, and putting his sleepwear on, Naruto got in bed with Meowth curling up next to his head and Kurama at his feet.

"Goodnight you two," Naruto told them with a sleepy tone.

["Goodnight,"] Meowth said as he fell asleep, while Kurama was already asleep.

Naruto then closed his eyes, and fell asleep alongside his Pokemon.

(Five years later)

The sun shined into Naruto's bedroom through his curtains and onto his face. The now 16 year old scrunched up his face, and opened his eyes. He got up, stretched himself and rubbed the sleep from his eyes.

He gave a small yawn, and saw that Meowth and Kurama were still asleep on their beds, that Delia had bought for them about two years ago.

Naruto got out of bed, and said "Come on guys. Today is the day we start our Pokemon journey."

Meowth woke up with a big yawn, and a large stretch of his legs. ["Good morning Naruto. I hope that you are ready to explore"] he said as he walked out of the room, and headed downstairs.

Kurama was a bit slower waking up, and when he heard what Meowth said, he gave a snort while replying ["The kid is always ready for an adventure, cat."] He also went out of the bedroom to go to the kitchen, and see if Delia would give him something to eat.

Naruto shook his head, while taking his sleepwear off and putting his clothes on for his Pokemon journey.

He put on green shorts and black sneakers, with an orange stripe going around them and blue socks and a black belt. He then put a red t-shirt on with a yellow hooded jacket over it, with the zip about halfway down and the sleeves going to his elbows. He then put a hat on his head that he won in a contest from the Pokemon League, and a pair of sunglasses on top of his hat.

Seeing that he was all ready, he went down to the kitchen to get some breakfast. He walked into the kitchen, to see that Meowth and Kurama were already eating, and that Delia had laid out a plate of eggs, bacon, toast and a glass of juice for him.

"Morning Mum, and thanks for making me breakfast" Naruto told her as he sat down. Delia gave a nodding smile, while she replied "Good morning to you too sweetie. I hope that you slept well," as she gave him a kiss on his cheek before she too sat at the table with her bowl of yogurt and fruit.

Naruto nodded as he said "Yeah I slept like a log last night."

Delia then asked curiously, "You excited to start your journey honey? Do you know what Pokemon you're going to choose?"

Naruto gave a nod, and after swallowing some food he answered "Yep I'm really excited for my journey. And me, Will and Gary talked it over last night on the phone which Pokemon we want to choose. I'm going for Bulbasaur, Will's going to have Charmander and Gary is of course going for Squirtle."

Kurama then muttered under his breath, while laying down for a bit ["I knew he'd go for Bulbasaur. Especially since the kid loves nature so damn much, it makes sense he'd go for a grass type."]

Delia then asked, "Do you have your bag all packed with everything you'll need? Along with some money?"

Naruto nodded saying "Yes Mum. I packed my bag last night, and it's on the couch full of some spare clothes, sleepwear, socks, toiletries, a sleeping bag, a raincoat, a Folding Telescopic fishing rod along with bait and a few Lure Balls (thankful that Professor Oak got some for him and Will), a tent and some food for me and my Pokemon. I even have enough Poke Dollars, thanks to helping you do chores around the house and doing chores for some of the neighbors for the past year. Professor Oak even gave me some for helping him at his lab." Delia gave a nod, glad that Naruto had everything he needed.

After finishing his breakfast, Naruto helped clean up. He then went over to the couch and put his bag on his back, and then gave Delia a hug and kiss goodbye. Delia said "Before you go Naruto, I have something for you." She went over to a cupboard near the kitchen counter, and pulled out a box.

She walked back to him, and handed it over. "Open it," she said with a smile. Naruto opened the box, and was surprised to see a Pokenav. He scrolled through it and saw it had: a map, a phone, the news for any current events and the local news, and even stats for any popular trainers.

Naruto then looked at her, and said in a shocked tone "Mum this must have cost you a lot. You know how expensive these things are." Delia merely smiled as she said "Yes I know, I just wanted to make sure that you're safe while you travel. And I've already put the home number into it, so call me regularly please."

Naruto gave her a nod as well as another hug for the gift, and put it in his pocket. He then turned to his Pokemon saying "Let's go you two. We don't want to keep the others waiting."

The two Pokemon gave a nod, and followed him out the door as Delia watched them go with a small smile on her face. "Good luck Naruto, I know you'll do well" she thought as he walked to Professor Oak's lab.

(Oak's Lab, 10 minutes later)

After a short walk, the three of them had arrived at the lab. Naruto eagerly walked through the doors, and saw Will sitting down waiting for him, with Pikachu sitting on her shoulder. Pichu had evolved about two and a half years ago into Pikachu, when they were all playing.

(Flashback starts, two and half years ago)

Naruto, Will and Gary were playing with Pichu, Meowth and Kurama at Professor Oak's lab while Daisy is studying to become a nurse. It had taken Meowth quite some time to get used to the others, but he got used to them.

Will was giving Pichu a loving hug, while Pichu was nuzzling his face into her shoulder.

Will then set Pichu onto her lap as she sat leaning against a tree, and told him "I'm really glad that you and I are friends Pichu."

Pichu nodded his head, as he replied ["Yeah me too Will. I'm happy to have you as my friend."] Pichu then suddenly glowed, which took Will by surprise with Naruto and Gary also looking over when they saw the glow, and causing Daisy to look up from her book.

Pichu's body grew bigger, with him gaining bigger ears and a bigger tail. When the glow died down, they noticed that Pichu had evolved into a Pikachu.

This caused Will to give him a really big hug, while the other three walked over and congratulated her on Pichu's evolution.

(Flashback ends)

Will was wearing blue shoes, with white socks and brown shorts with a pink belt. She had a purple shirt, and a pale green blazer with the sleeves only going to her elbows which was unbuttoned, and a pair of sunglasses hanging from her top pocket. She also had a yellow bandanna tied on her head, with a black Pokeball on the front. She too had a bag filled with the same stuff that Naruto had.

"Hey Will, are you ready to get your starter Pokemon?" Naruto asked her. He then looked around, and asked "Where's Gary?"

Will replied "You bet I'm ready to get my starter. And Gary already got his Pokemon, and left about an hour ago. He said he wanted to get a head start on you."

Naruto gave a shake of his head, while thinking "That's Gary. Always wanting to prove he's the best."

Will stood up, and the two of them and the three Pokemon walked into the lab area, to get their starter Pokemon.

Professor Oak was waiting by a table that had two Pokeballs on it. When he heard the door open, he turned his head and gave a smile at them.

"Ah good morning to the both of you," he said as they walked over.

"Good morning Professor," they replied in unison.

Oak then said "So are you two ready for your starter Pokemon?" They both nodded their heads, and took the Pokeball that they knew had their chosen starter in.

"Bulbasaur/Charmander come on out," they both said as they threw their Pokeball.

Said Pokemon appeared in a flash of white, and gave curious looks at them. They knelt down, and introduced themselves.

"Hey there Bulbasaur, my names Naruto and these are Meowth and Kurama" Naruto said in introduction for himself and his two other Pokemon. "I hope that we have a great time together," he finished.

Bulbasaur gave a nod, as he replied ["I hope so too. So long as I get plenty of action, I'm all good."]

Will had sat before Charmander, and said "Heya Charmander. I'm Will and this little guy on my shoulder is Pikachu. Let's have a good time together, okay" she said, while Pikachu gave a peace sign.

Charmander gave a small nod, as she said ["Okay. I'm always ready for a bit of fun."]

Meowth and Kurama went and had said hello to the two new Pokemon, while Pikachu jumped off Will's shoulder to talk with them easier.

The Professor then handed them a Pokédex each, five Pokeballs each, and a few Potions and Full Heals. He also gave them his number, for them to put into their Pokenav. He also gave them spare Pokeballs to catch Kurama, Meowth and Pikachu with.

They then turned to their Pokemon, with Will saying "Pikachu" while Naruto said "Meowth and Kurama" which caused them to turn to their human friends. "You guys ready to officially become our Pokemon?" they asked them. The three Pokemon each gave a nod, and they threw the Pokeballs at the Pokemon.

The Pokeballs each made a clicking noise when they hit them, and opened up. The Pokemon then turned a red colour, and were sucked into the Pokeball which closed once they were inside it. The Pokeballs then gave an instant ding, to reveal that the captures were successful.

They gave each other a smile and a high five, then went and picked up the Pokeballs. They returned Bulbasaur and Charmander to their Pokeballs, and clipped the Pokeballs onto their belts.

Before they could leave the lab to start their journey, the Pokeballs with Kurama and Pikachu inside them shook before they burst open with a white light, which revealed the Pokemon.

They turned to the Professor for an explanation, who told them "It would appear that your Pikachu Will, and your Vulpix Naruto don't like being inside their Pokeballs."

The two Pokemon gave a shake, while Kurama said ["Man, that's really cramped."]

Pikachu gave a nod saying ["Yeah, no kidding."]

Naruto and Will gave a shrug not at all bothered, before Pikachu hopped back onto Will's shoulder while Kurama looked ready to have a good walk.

They gave the Professor a wave as they left his lab, and went off towards Route 1.

(About 30 minutes later)

They were walking along chatting about what kind of Pokemon they wanted added to their teams, when they saw a Mankey hiding in some long grass. Once they got close enough, she jumped out and shouted ["I challenge you to a fight foxy"] since she thought it would be an easy win.

Naruto and Kurama gave a grin, with Kurama saying [Your so on, you pig monkey."]

Will then saw something going on a few metres away underneath a tree, and told Naruto "I'm going to see what's going on over there." Naruto nodded his head, with Will and Pikachu going to investigate.

When they got there, they saw that a Spearow was bullying a few Pidgeys which they didn't like seeing. Will shouted to get the Spearows attention, "Hey. If you think you're so tough, why don't you fight us?" she then asked at the end.

This caused the Spearow to stop, and see a human with a Pikachu on her shoulder with both having an angry look on their faces. He then replied ["Gladly,"] and flew to a few feet in front of them.

'Kurama vs Mankey: FIGHT!'

["Hope your ready to lose, you stupid fox"] Mankey sneered at Kurama, before it attacked using Scratch.

"Dodge it Kurama, then use Fire Spin to keep it contained and attack with Quick Attack," Naruto shouted to him.

He gave a quick nod, before he jumped into the air to avoid the attack. He then opened his mouth and shot out the Fire Spin to surround the Mankey with fire. Mankey dodged the best she could, but she still got a bit burned. Kurama then landed, and dashed at her hitting her in the back with Quick Attack, which sent her rolling.

She got back up, and glared at Kurama saying ["I'll make you regret that"] as she used Leer on him, which made his defense go down a little.

Mankey then ran at him, and before he could dodge he was hit by her Low Kick which swept him off his feet, then her Karate Chop sent him tumbling away.

"Kurama, you okay?" Naruto asked him in concern. He got up, shook himself off any dirt, and replied ["Yeah I'm fine. Let's finish this though, shall we?"] he then said glaring at Mankey, who had a smug look on her face.

Naruto nodded, and said "You got it partner. Use Flamethrower." Kurama fired a powerful Flamethrower at her, which Mankey dodged by jumping to the right. But that's what Naruto wanted, as he quickly said "Quick Attack to get close, then use Bite."

As Mankey landed, Kurama was already on top of her and bit her on her left arm, which had flames coming off his fangs.

Naruto was surprised, before he cheered out "Nice one Kurama. You just learned how to do Fire Fang." He then said "Now toss that Mankey into the air, and blast it with a Flamethrower."

Kurama shook the Mankey for a bit, before he tossed her as high as he could then fired off a Flamethrower right at her. When the attack hit her, she was consumed by the flames before an explosion happened and when she landed on the ground she was quite burned but still looked determined to fight.

When Naruto saw she still looked good to fight, merely said "Use Confuse Ray, then hit her with a Headbutt."

Kurama's eyes glowed, which caused Mankey to walk and wobble about before he ran at her and hit her in the stomach with his head. This sent her flying backwards, where she landed on her back and weakly tried to get up.

Naruto then grabbed a Pokeball, and turning his hat backwards threw it saying "Pokeball go" towards Mankey.

The Pokeball hit Mankey and sucked it inside in a flash of white. The Pokeball shook back and forth for a while, with the two of them watching before it dinged to signify a successful capture.

Naruto jumped with his arm in the air, as he shouted out, "YES! I caught my first Pokemon" while Kurama shook his head at Naruto's antic's.

'Kurama vs Mankey: Fight Over. Capture of Mankey: Successful'

'Pikachu vs Spearow: FIGHT!'

Meanwhile at the sametime they fought Mankey, Will and Pikachu were having a stare off with Spearow.

Spearow snarled out ["Don't think you're going to win, just because of the Type advantage you have mouse"] as he took flight and used Leer to make Pikachu a bit weaker.

Will said "Use Tail Whip, then use Quick Attack to jump off the tree to get closer." Pikachu nodded, as he wagged his tail at Spearow, then dashed at the tree and jumped off the trunk to hit him.

Spearow narrowly dodged the attack, and as Pikachu fell he dived down and hit him with Peck.

Pikachu gave a cry of pain, and landed quite roughly on the ground. "You okay?" Will asked with worry.

Pikachu got up, and gave a nod replying ["I'm good. Let's teach this birdbrain a lesson, he won't soon forget"] glaring at the smirk on Spearow's beak.

Will gave it some thought, then said "Let's try that new move you learned a few weeks ago." Pikachu gave a nod, and stood ready as Will said "Use Swift" with him releasing yellow stars from his tail as he swung it, that took Spearow by surprise and stunned him quite a bit once they hit.

Will, seeing an opening then shouted "Use Thunder Wave to paralyze it, then attack with Thundershock to finish him off."

Pikachu quickly fired off electric circles that hit Spearow and caused electricity to spark off of him at interval times. Pikachu then gathered electricity into his body, and shot it at Spearow, lighting his body up and making it cry out in pain.

Spearow then fell all black and twitching as the leftover electricity ran over his body. Will was then quick to grab a Pokeball and tossed it at Spearow shouting "Go Pokeball" and it hit Spearow, which sucked him inside it with a flash of white. The Pokeball gave a few wiggles, as they watched with a battered breath before they heard the ding, showing the capture was a success.

Will gave a smile, as she said "My first capture of a wild Pokemon, that was quite difficult" with Pikachu nodding in agreement.

'Pikachu vs Spearow: Fight Over. Capture of Spearow: Successful.'

(After catching their first Pokemon, about 10 minutes later)

Once they'd caught the Pokemon, they continued walking (with Pikachu back on Will's shoulder) and telling each other how their fights went and they asked if Pikachu and Kurama needed healing. They said they were fine, nothing too serious.

As they were walking along, they noticed two Nidoran having some grass to eat and they could tell that they were boy and girl, with their different colours.

Naruto turned to Will, and asked her "You want to catch them?" She gave it some thought, then nodded her head saying "I'll catch the girl, and you can catch the boy" as Naruto gave a shrug, not at all bothered which one he wanted to catch.

They then walked over to the Nidoran, who took notice of them when they were close enough.

The male stepped forward, and said in a serious tone ["If you're looking for a fight, don't expect it to be an easy one"] with the female nodding saying ["Yeah"] as she too stepped forward.

Naruto turned to Kurama, and told him "You better take a rest pal after your last battle" with Will agreeing and told Pikachu "The same goes for you Pikachu."

Both Pokemon nodded, since they still felt a little tired. Naruto and Will then each took a Pokeball off their belts, and tossed them saying "Meowth/Charmander come on out."

Both Pokemon came out of their Pokeballs in a flash of light, and looked ready to battle.

"Be careful Meowth. Their horns have poison on them," Naruto said in warning while Will told Charmander "And the same for you, Charmander." Both Pokemon gave a nod that they understood, and stood with confidence as they locked eyes with the Nidoran.

'Tag Team Battle; male and female Nidoran Vs Meowth and Charmander: FIGHT!'

The male Nidoran ran forward, with his horn glowing using Horn Attack while the female fired Poison Sting to cover him.

Will shouted out, "Use Smokescreen Charmander" and he opened his mouth and black smoke came out of it, covering the battlefield.

Naruto then said, "And Meowth you use Thunderbolt and aim it towards the male Nidoran" which Meowth nodded to and fired the electricity into the Smokescreen, and he was thankful that Pikachu taught him this move.

They heard a cry of pain, and saw that the male Nidoran stumbled out of the black smoke. Naruto was quick to say, "Meowth use Growl then attack with Fury Swipes on the male Nidoran."

He gave a nod, and growled at the Nidoran and ran over with his claws glowing white. Will decided to help, and told Charmander "Use Tail Whip also on the male Nidoran" and she did so with a nod, making Nidoran weaker.

Meowth was then close enough to quickly scratch at the Nidoran, who was crying out in pain at every scratch that landed on him. Before Meowth could continue, Naruto quickly shouted out "Meowth jump backwards now!"

Meowth did so, just in time as the female Nidoran landed where he was, having used Double Kick. The female then nuzzled the male, and asked him ["Are you alright my love?"] He gave a nod, as he stood up on shaky legs replying ["I can….can still fight my….my sweet"] he said panting for breath.

This took Naruto and Will by surprise, not knowing that they were in love with each other. But that didn't stop them from trying to catch them though.

Naruto said "Meowth use Thunderbolt again" while Will said "And you use Flamethrower Charmander." Both the Pokemon nodded, and fired their respective attacks which combined into an electrical firestorm and hit both Nidoran heads on, causing an explosion.

It took awhile for the smoke to clear, before they saw that both Nidoran were lying on the ground and still trying to get back up to fight.

Naruto and Will walked over to them, and the male Nidoran said ["No. I will no….not let yo….you take m….me away fro….from my mate"] with the female nodding as she added ["And the sa….me goes for….me."]

They just smiled, as Will said "Don't worry you two. We aren't going to separate you from each other" which caused them to look up with hopeful eyes, as they said in unison ["Really?"] With Naruto nodding his head and saying, "Really. We're all going to be travelling together."

This made them slump down in relief, which Naruto and Will took as permission to capture them. They took a Pokeball each, and holding it in their hand tapped it on the respective Nidoran they were catching. Both Pokemon were sucked in, and giving a few shakes the Pokeballs dinged to show two successful captures.

'Tag Team Battle; male and female Nidoran Vs Meowth and Charmander: Fight Over. Capture of both Nidoran: Successful.'

They returned Meowth and Charmander to their respective Pokeballs, before they continued on their way with Kurama deciding to rest on Naruto's shoulders and Pikachu on Will's.

(A few minutes later)

As they were walking along, they heard a river not too far from them. Getting an idea, Will asked Naruto "You want to see if there's any water type Pokemon there to catch?" Naruto gave a nod, replying "Sure thing."

They ran towards the sound, and when they arrived they could see that someone else was fishing there.

It was a girl about their age, and she was wearing a yellow crop top and jean shorts that were held up with red suspenders which left most of her midriff revealed here. She also wore red, yellow and white sneakers with it, and carried a red drawstring backpack with it. She also had her hair in a small side ponytail.

"Hi there," Will said in greeting. This caused the girl to turn around, and saw them walking towards her. She gave a friendly smile and said back "Hello, nice to meet you. My name's Misty" she said in greeting.

Naruto introduced himself and Will, then asked her "What are you doing Misty?"

She got a determined look on her face, and replied "I'm hoping to catch a good water type Pokemon, so that I can become a great water Pokemon expert."

They gave her nods of approval at her plan, and Will then asked "Do you mind if we fish here too? Because I'm looking to get a water type myself." Misty gave a nod, and said "Sure, I don't mind."

They gave thankful nods, and set their bags down to get everything out that they needed.

They pulled out their Folding Telescopic fishing rods, along with the bait and attached Lure Balls to the end. Misty looked pleased that they were prepared. The two of them set the fishing rods, and standing away from Misty and each other they cast their lines.

They stood there for about 5 minutes, when they felt a tug on their lines. Quickly pulled their rods, and reeling in the lines Naruto and Will both pulled out two different Pokemon.

Will got a Froakie, while Naruto got a Totodile.

Will gave a squeal, as she said "OOOOHHHH! You look so cute, I just want to hug you forever, and never let you go" which seemed to embarrass the Froakie, since she'd never been called cute before.

The Totodile was dancing about, which Naruto found funny before he commented "You look like a lively fun Pokemon to have around."

They then got the Lure Balls off the lines, and seeing them do this Froakie and Totodile got excited with Froakie shyly asking ["Are you going to catch us? Because I'd really like to travel with you"] as Totodile was jumping up and down shouting ["Me too, me too!"]

They both gave nods, and threw the Lure Balls at the Pokemon they caught on their lines. When the Lure Balls sucked them in, there was an instant ding to show the captures were successful.

Naruto and Will gave high fives to each other, and picked up their respective Lure Ball. Misty gave a pout, since she'd been here all day and hadn't caught anything yet. Naruto decided to lend her a Lure Ball to use. She gave a small blush, at how kind he was to her before she said "Thanks Naruto."

She then pulled her line in, and attached the ball at the end then re cast her line. A few minutes later, she felt a tug and after pulling and reeling in the line, she saw she'd caught a Mudkip.

The Mudkip looked up at her, and gave her leg a hug while saying ["You seem nice. I wanna travel with ya."] And though Misty didn't understand Pokemon speak, she knew he wanted to travel with her.

She then tapped him on the head with the Lure Ball, and it then gave a ding immediately to show Mudkip was caught. "Nice work Misty," Naruto said in congratulation. Will gave a nod, as she said "Yeah and since Mudkip evolves into a part ground type, electric type moves won't work on him." Misty gave a nod of thanks, and they all started putting their things away.

As they were putting their fishing equipment away, Misty got their attention. "Hey guys, take a look at that Pokemon" she said to them. Turning to see which Pokemon she was referring to, they saw a Croagunk sitting on a rock along the river looking at them.

Naruto got up and walked over to it, and saw that it was following his movements with interest. Naruto then asked him "Can we help you with something?"

Croagunk replied ["You interest me, human. I would like to travel with you"] he then finished, as he got off the rock.

Naruto was surprised, before he said "Okay then if you want to" and took out a Pokeball. He then held it out in front of him, and Croagunk lifted its right arm and touched it allowing itself to be captured which made an immediate ding. The Pokeball then vanished in a flash of light, with Naruto knowing that Croagunk was sent back to Professor Oak's lab.

Naruto then walked back to the girls, and seeing the looks said "Seems like I interested him, so he allowed me to catch him" he finished with a shrug.

Will gave a cute little pout, as she said "I want my own fighting type" as she childishly crossed her arms.

Naruto smiled, and patted her head saying "Maybe you'll find one later on." Will swatted his hand away, which he laughed at and Misty gave a small giggle.

They finished packing up, and put their bags back on their backs then walked onwards. Misty then said "If you guys don't mind, could I travel with you? You both seem like cool people to travel with."

Will gave a nod, "That's okay with me. It's always fun travelling with friends" with Naruto nodding in agreement. Misty gave them both a grateful smile, and they all walked to the next town.

(About five minutes later)

It wasn't long until they saw Viridian City, and they all sighed in relief that they made it since it was starting to rain a little bit. They went to the Poke Mart, and bought about 20 more Pokeballs, along with 5 Great Balls each. They also got some Potions and Super Potions, even some Full Heals.

They quickly ran to the Pokemon Center, so that Naruto and Will could have their Pokemon looked at and healed. They walked into the center, just in time as it started to rain more heavily.

The three of them walked over to the counter, while Pikachu and Kurama shook the water off themselves.

Once they got to the counter, Nurse Joy greeted them. "Hello, and welcome to the Viridian City Pokemon Center. How many Pokemon do you need me to look at?"

Naruto handed over his five Pokeballs and picked up Kurama, while Will handed over her four Pokeballs and Pikachu. Misty then handed over four Pokeballs, with Nurse Joy putting the balls all into carry cases so they were easier to carry around.

"All of your Pokemon will be checked out quite thoroughly," she said with a smile. She then called out "Chansey, I need your help carry these" and said Pokemon walked through the door to the back. ["Coming Mistress Joy,"] Naruto and Will heard her saying.

Nurse Joy handed Chansey the cases that had Naruto's and Will's Pokeballs, while she put Pikachu and Kurama on a stretcher to carry them through easier. She put Misty's on it too, and told them "The check up for your Pokemon shouldn't take too long. You are quite welcome to wait" she then pushed the stretcher to the back with Chansey following her.

Naruto and the girls went to sit down, and put their feet up for a while. Misty gave a sigh, as she said "Now we just have to wait. What a good way to end the day."

Oh how wrong she was about that.

(A hot air balloon, just entering Viridian City at that moment)

There was a hot air balloon that was just coming into Viridian City, with it having a Koffing shape, look and everything.

Inside the basket, were two people that work for the organization that Naruto and Will know all too well: Team Rocket.

The man said, "So we get to the Center and steal all of their Pokemon. Whether or not they're valuable, right Jessie?"

The woman, Jessie, nodded as she replied "Correct James. And hopefully, the boss will see us as better members then Cassidy and Billy are."

Somewhere in Kanto, Butch muttered "I just know someone got my name wrong again."

James nodded in agreement, as he said "Yeah. Especially since they couldn't steal any Pokemon from Professor Oak's lab years ago. And they said that two kids were what stopped them. HA what morons" he then finished with a giggle.

Jessie gave a smirk, as she said "Yeah. Not like we'll be stopped by a bunch of brats."
