Kumi felt like her heart was racing a few miles an hour. Adulato had recently asked her to be his mate and she felt like she was swooning.

"I cannot believe that he asked me," she said in glee. Queen Bliss hugged her and then made her look into her eyes. For the queen was the tallest female Lauhinian due to her status so most had to look up to her, except for her sons, knights, and a few others.

"I am so happy for you dear Kumi; this will be an exciting time indeed. Come! There is much we must do. You will be fitted with a beautiful white and gold silk gown and I will personally see to the arrangements," Queen Bliss smiled.

"Thank you so much," Kumi said, now kneeling before the queen who immediately lifted her up.

"Now now…enough of that dear friend. Come," the queen said, now hurriedly moving her towards the fitting rooms.

Meanwhile, the king, Vibracio, and Optimo were having a time with congratulating Adulato. For they knew that he would be proposing soon!

"You finally did it. It's about time!" Lauhin huffed playfully.

"We knew that you had a special eye on that maiden for a long time now," Optimo winked.

"And we knew you would be proposing." Vibracio chuckled.

"But of course! You all know that no female can resist my charms long enough," he winked. That made the others roll their eyes.

"Oh halt that unnecessary chatter. Now I see where Blithe's flirtatious nature got started," Lauhin smirked.

"Oh stop, you too had a hand in that too," Adulato said playfully back. Lauhin only walked by and whipped his tail on Adulato's backside, making the cuddle master shout in shock. "OW! LAUHIN!"

"My goodness, pardon me dear friend. Now come! You must be fitted with the wedding attire. The ceremony will be taking place in five moon's time." Lauhin said. For in Lauhinian tradition, it took very little time to create wedding ceremonies. The others nodded and prepared themselves immediately.

A few days later, Rachel, Sasha, Ben and the others from the mansion were standing in the garden as the ceremony was about to take place. There were all kinds of beautiful pink, light purple, and white flowers hanging in garlands around the trees, bushes, and branches. Flower petals also covered the ground and made the entire area look like a story book fairytale.

"This is beautiful," Rachel whispered to Jocu.

"But not as beautiful as that…" Jocu whispered back, now pointing at Kumi. Kumi gulped at all of the people that were staring at her and she shied back a bit. But then she felt a gentle hand on her shoulder.

"Now now…relax," the voice said. She turned and saw Lauhin behind her as he gave her a handsome grin. "It is my pleasure to escort you down the aisle to your future mate."

"I'm nervous, your highness," she whispered.

"Don't be. You are about to make a beautiful and wise decision," Lauhin whispered, now extending his arm. "Come…"

Kumi nodded and as the king escorted her out, everyone gasped at how beautiful she looked and how kingly Lauhin looked. He had on form fitting white pant-like garments, a gold sash across his chest that was covered in jewels that matched his golden crown, and gold arm cuffs on his upper arms. He also wore a pure white cloak that also hung around his shoulders.

Kumi wore a beautiful white and gold silk gown that showed off her figure and it was decorated with slight purple flowers. Her hair was down and she wore a flower crown of white and light purple flowers. She also wore a white choker with white jewels with arm bands to match it.

Adulato's eyes widened in wonder and surprise. He felt his heart beating 100 times per minute and he wanted nothing more than to scoop her up and to hold her close to his chest.

"There she is…" he whispered to Optimo, who stood next to him.

"And what a beautiful mate she is for you," came the whispered response.

"I have waited my entire life for a being like her," Adulato whispered.

"And I am sure she feels the same about you," Optimo whispered back as they saw the two come to the front. Once Lauhin passed Kumi to Adulato, he made his way to the front. Queen Bliss then followed him and the two stood before the couple. Both began to recite words from the Lauhinian language and Optimo, Jocu, and the brothers made sure to translate to members of the mansion. After a moment, Lauhin made sure to speak in English.

"Do you agree to stand by your mate?" Lauhin asked Adulato.

"My King, you have my word," came the response.

"And do you agree to stand by your mate?" Bliss asked Kumi.

"My Queen you have my word," came the response.

"Then under our blessing, you both may greet your mate," the king and queen said in unison. Adulato and Kumi smiled happily and turned to each other. They began to share a kiss and everyone could only cheer! They cheered even louder when Adulato bent down and bit Kumi on her neck a few times. Kumi giggled, but once he was done they could see a beautiful jewel appear on her neck.

"What is that?" Rachel asked.

"That is one way of showing that she is his mate," Jocu smiled warmly.

"This is beautiful," Sasha whispered as she leaned on Vivo, who cuddled her closely.

"Yeah, it's amazing. When we have wedding such as these, it is always special," Vivo said, now watching as Kumi bit Adulato on his neck as well. He growled in glee and definitely enjoyed feeling his mate give him a mating symbol. Once it was done, they turned and smiled as Lauhin let out a roar, symbolizing the mating ceremony was complete. The brothers and other Lauhinians present roared in agreement and watched as the couple began to walk back down the aisle towards the reception that was happening next.

And what a party it was! The reception was covered in joy and food! The guests could not stop congratulating the couple and wishing them the best. It was wonderful to see the couple enjoying themselves.

"I love you Kumi…" Adulato whispered, now holding her hand.

"And I love you too my dear," she whispered, now leaning on her mate's shoulder. It was everything that they had ever wanted.

A month later,

"Come on out you two," Adulato said, now seeing the twins in the treehouse. The twins were delighted that Kumi and Adulato were married, but they were now nervous because they heard Kumi was pregnant and that she was going to have twins!

"You're gonna have new favorites now," Gem huffed.

"Yeah, we won't be special anymore," Jewel added.

"That is not true you two; please come down here," Kumi soothed, now getting increasingly worried that the twins wouldn't come down.

"We wanna stay up here," Gem said, now crossing her arms.

"Listen you two. Either you come down or I will come up after you," Adulato smirked happily. The twins looked at each other in concern and then panicked as their uncle began climbing up and Kumi began climbing too!

"NO! Hurry they're coming! Down the back way," Jewel said. The twins then jumped into the feather pile below the tree, but Adulato and Kumi moved fast and captured them as they fell.

"Hey!" Jewel said as Adulato hugged her tightly.

"Not so fast," Adulato soothed, now gently kissing her head.

"You both aren't going anywhere," Kumi said, now cuddling Gem. "Listen sweethearts, nothing is going to replace you both. I promise."

"P-Promise?" the twins asked in unison.

"We promise. You both are irreplaceable," he whispered, now pulling them both to him and he and Kumi cuddled them gently. The twins could only smile and hug them back, happy to be reassured by them. But after a few seconds, the twins burst out laughing as the new couple began tickling them to pieces!

After the twins were feeling better, the couple went inside and told them that lunch would be ready later. Kumi just felt like she was going to burst from all of the recent excitement!

"This is going to be amazing," Kumi said, now trying to reach for a high vase.

"Ah ah ah, sit down…I will get that," Adulato smirked, now making her sit down in a nearby chair.

"My love, I can handle getting the vase," she said.

"Absolutely not," Adulato smirked, now getting the vase and handing it to her. Kumi only chuckled and then began to place flowers into the vase as Adulato poured the water.

"Adulato?" she asked.

"Yes?" he asked.

"What color fur do you think they will have?" she thought outloud.

"Hmmmm…it's hard to say. Based on my lineage and yours, it could be either light blue, light green, or light pink," he said, now looking into the distance.

"You think so?" she said with a smile.

"I believe so," he said. "And what about genders?"

"I am unsure if they will be girls. I would want them to be, but more males have been born than females," Kumi said.

"We shall see. We know males are more common, but we may get a surprise." He chuckled. "And as for names, we need a list for the males and females."

"I think Elena, Ivy, Holly, Acaia, or Poppy are cute," she said, now looking at her list on the table.

"And for the boys, I believe Adonis, Zophyro, Gael, Kai, Dusk, or Cove shall suffice," he said, now trying to think about all the names he had as well.

"Wow…we have so many beautiful names; now all we need to do is figure out if they are males or females," she said excitedly.

"It will be just fine," he chuckled. "We will find out soon enough.

As they were talking, Ben walked in and gave Kumi a slight hug and shook hands with Adulato.

"Lovebirds still having fun huh?" Ben laughed.

"Of course," Adulato winked. "Much like with you and your own wife Ben."

"Oh yeah," Ben blushed. "Well we all are feeling mushy after the wedding and all that stuff."

"Oh? Is that so?" Adulato teased, now tickling under Ben's chin with his tail.

"GAH! Cut it out!" Ben chuckled.

"Come now, we are just teasing," Adulato winked.

"And how are the twins, Gem and Jewel, taking everything?" Ben asked.

"Well, I did need to comfort them a bit and remind them that we are always going to be a strong family," Adualto said.

"Yes, they needed a lot of cuddles, but I think they will be alright now," Kumi winked happily.

The time had finally come. The baby twins had been born into the world. In the royal sitting room, Kumi was rocking her baby girls, Ivy and Poppy. Kumi looked at her daughters, her heart filled with warmth and pride. Her twin girls couldn't be more beautiful.

Ivy and Poppy both had lime green fur and blue eyes, the same blue eyes as their mother. They both wore pink footed pajamas. The only way people to tell them apart was their hairstyles. Ivy had downward pigtails and Poppy had short curly hair with a pink flower in it.

The babies were curled up fast asleep in their mother's arms. They were so innocent, so pure. Kumi felt her husband's arms around her followed by a kiss on the cheek.

"A perfect night for cuddling." said Adulato, nuzzling his wife.

Kumi sighed. "It is indeed." She stroked Poppy's head. "Such, soft, fluffy fur. And the green reminds me of Ben a little..." She and Adulato have been dying to have Ben meet the babies, but the hero was so busy saving the world, he didn't have time for a visit.

"Let's see how the lad's doing now." Adulato took out a small crystal ball and used his magic to see Ben. Ben's image faded into the crystal ball. They saw him laying on his bed, deeply depressed.

"Looks like the boy's had a rough day..." said Adulato. Kumi nodded in agreement. The twins opened their eyes and saw the despondent human in the crystal ball. They started cooing and reaching their tiny hands toward the crystal ball.

Adulato and Kumi were completely stunned. It looked as though their babies wanted to...help Ben. They looked at each other, both thinking the same thing. Then they nodded to each other.

At the Grant Mansion, Ben was very upset. He had a long day of fighting bad guys and nearly getting killed because of it. Despite all this, the criminals he fought will only be released in a few days. The thought of it just depresses Ben more and more.

"Ben?"

Ben slowly looked over his shoulder and blinked in surprise. He got up and saw Adulato and Kumi. "Guys?! What are you doing here?!" He gasped when he saw the two baby fur balls in Kumi's arms. "Are...are those the babies?!"

Kumi smiled. "Yep." She gently set them on the ground. "Ben, this is Ivy and Poppy. Girls, this is Ben, he's a human."

Ivy and Poppy smiled wide and crawled their way to Ben. Then they started climbing onto Ben like he was a mountain!

Adulato chuckled. "They want to cheer up their first human!"

"They do?! Really?!" Ben was dumbfounded. The parents nodded. Ben watched Ivy and Poppy crawl all the way to the boy's shoulders. Then they did something Ben never expected at all.

They both gave Ben a cute little kiss on the cheek. When they did, Ben started to feel...warm and calm. Ivy and Poppy continued smooching and nuzzling Ben's face. It was so strange. All those sad and stressful memories that made him feel so bad were being swept away.

He felt...happy.

Ben then adjusted himself and held onto the girls in his arms. Ben's heart melted seeing their adorable little faces smiling at him.

Adulato ruffled the boy's hair. "Feel better, champ?"

"Much." Ben smiled, holding Ivy and Poppy close.

"Good." Kumi said, stroking Ben's head. "We're all here for you, Ben. Keep fighting the good fight."

Ben felt Ivy and Poppy snuggling into his chest. These babies were the cutest, most wonderful beings Ben had ever met. His job may be grueling, but it's worth it to have such amazing people support and comfort him when you need it most.
