plasma123fire here! So, here is the first chapter, well prologue of "The Scientific Method v2". As stated in v1. My original plot, OC's and setting with be transferred here as well. So, there might be similar chapters uploaded in the future. Yes, the Resource Development Administration is here in this story. Yes, there will be SCOUT droids, MOOSEs but I will remove the Slip-space drive in this story as in v1, it was there because of the "Phizons" set by the Sky Universe. Hopefully this will satisfy everyone, and I can get more reviews than the first story. As the more reviews there are, the more motivated I am into continuing to write this story. As everything is already outlined and just needs to be written. I still have online university to attend. So hopefully another chapter will be uploaded soon if everyone agrees with this change. NB: I have not read the Light Novel to GATE: Thus the JSDF Fought there and GATE: Weigh Anchor yet. This is based off the events of the anime, manga, pictures and summaries for reference. The rest is based off my own speculation and imagination. Thanks!

It has been 4 years since the forced closure of the GATE which led to 4600 JSDF personal being stranded in the Special Region. It was not the JSDF's fault that the GATE was forcefully closed which led to 4600 people being stranded, it was in fact the result of an international sabotage where Chinese Black Ops units tried to kidnap Lelei La Lena but ultimately failed due Yōji Itami and the Third Recon's intervention.
Despite losing the Jade Wall (Lelei's CODENAME to the Chinese Black Ops), Liu the Squad Leader ordered several armoured trucks to ram the GATE in order to destroy it (to prevent Japan from monopolizing the GATE to themselves if no one else can use the GATE) which fortunately did not destroy it but made it severely unstable. That led to the infamous and bloody Arachnid War between the JSDF and the Arachnids due to a phenomenon of the instability of the Gate that began to manifest as the strangely inter-dimensional vortex that opened at the top of the dome in Alnus Hill and in Ginza, Japan. From the vortex, swarms of Arachnids initiated their invasion to Japan and the Special Region, marking the beginning of the Arachnid War.
The Arachnids were a formidable and dangerous foe with an insectoid-like appearance and the size of a man, caused heavy JSDF casualties and the Alnus Mercenary Brigade being nearly annihilated due to their zerg-like vast number, hyper-evolution, aggressiveness and tough exoskeleton that prove too much for modern firearms as well as Demi-Gods with superhuman powers like Rory Mercury to even handle them. Lelei La Lena was consequently forced to close the GATE that day to prevent further calamity from the Invasion of the Arachnids in both Japan and the Special Region.
Though wounded from the fight, the JSDF had to lick her wounds and start again fresh. With the GATE being closed and destroyed and as well as most of the JSDF garrison there on Alnus Hill due to the Arachnid Invasion. They worked on rebuilding again and restoring a new GATE to Japan with the help of the local inhabitants of the Special Region. It painstakingly took 4 years to build a new GATE and today marks the day that they hopefully can open it back to the Land of the Rising Sun.
Yōji Itami, clad in winter JSDF uniform is seen helping Lelei La Lena now 20 years old up onto the top of a hill overlooking the near completed MASSIVE and IMPROVED GATE that they could use to connect back to Japan. On the top of the hill, Itami's gang witnesses one of Giselle's dragon's place the final stone block onto the GATE where JSDF Engineers then firmly cement it in place and hardened using fire magic by a mage standing by. As the final block completely hardens in place- Itami's gang, the rest of the stranded JSDF personnel and as well as the locals jumps up into the air and cheers as the GATE is now successfully completed and can be used to connect the Special Region back to Japan.
Now standing with Itami in front of the now constructed GATE, Lelei La Lena now with beautiful silver hair due to Hardy's forceful Blessing while being inside her body as a vessel begins to chant incantations with a bundle of Hardy's divine silver hair while probing Itami's memories of Japan with magic and an EEG system.
[Divinum o dea, quis totiens anima illuminatur per radios lumen tuum, et ex toto corde tibi gratias ago.]

The head-sized crystal attached to the front of the GATE begins to glow vibrate as the incantation from Lelei finishes. It continues to glow vibrate with a multitude of colors as a small interdimensional vortex large enough for a man to walk through opens in front of the GATE. With that said, Lelei La Lena and Yōji Itami collapse on top of each other exhausted from the mental strain of opening the GATE. Medical personal quickly evacuate them from the scene as armed JSDF soldiers point every gun and weapon they could find towards the newly opened man-sized portal ready to mow down anything like the Arachnids that comes out.
Behind the JSDF soldiers, remaining JSDF gunships, tanks and humvees point every available armament from .50 cal guns to air to ground missiles towards the small dimensional vortex. While a small army of demihumans, dwarves, elves, humans, mages and of course the demigoddess, Rory Mercury and Giselle are standing by with weapons and spells ready. As a last line of defense, a pair of JSDF F4 Phantom II's are flying above with bomb bays ready with a large swarm of dragons commanded by Giselle flying above the erected GATE as well.

[Yuuukiiii!? Yuki where did you run off too?]
A small 8-year-old girl runs around panting, in the streets of Ginza looking for her new pet puppy named Yuki. She is so worried as she just got the puppy today and now, she lost it while taking it for a walk in the park. "My parents are going to kill me, if I lost Yuki on the first day already…" thinks the young girl as she spots her puppy by a light post before it suddenly runs straight and vanishes in thin air? Flabbergasted, she runs towards her puppy's last position while calling it's name before vanishing into thin air as well.

[CONTACT 12'OCK, I AM DETECTING TWO SMALL HEAT SIGNATURES COMING THROUGH THE GATE!]
A JSDF solider with a thermal imager shouts as everyone has their weapon's hot, primed and pointed towards the small interdimensional vortex.
Suddenly and unexpected a small barking puppy runs out of the small vortex and into a bundle of snow. A small Japanese-looking girl runs out as well falling in suite. She suddenly babbles in pure Japanese, stunning everyone. She's also extremely lucky as there was no one there that was trigger happy as she could have died on the spot as well as the puppy.
The small Japanese girl grabs her dog in joy not even worried of the cold sudden snow on her pale snow-white skin. She scolds her puppy.
[Yuki! Why did you run off like that! You had me worried! You disappeared into thin air! I was so worried!]
The puppy sneezes back at her due to the sudden change in temperature. She sneezes as well. Astonished and feeling the sudden cold now. She looks around and sees white snow before her eye's stumbles upon the hundreds of JSDF soldiers with guns pointed at her and the swarm of dragons flying above her with smoke coming out of their noses. As if her brain and everyone's brains there clicked simultaneously. They all then shouted-
[EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!]
