Author's note: This is my first fic, so please tread lightly. It felt like there wasn't enough Rongo fanfics, so I decided to write some. I decided to separate some text, even if they didnt count as paragraphs, so that your reading experience wouldn't be hard.

"Wake up buffoon, you're grossing me out"

Who just said that? Wait a minute, Shego?

I wake up on the floor of Drakken's lair, wait why am I here? " Well you came here to supposedly stop Drakken's plot, but upon Drakken finishing his explanation, you collapsed" Shego explained

"It seems that princess was too busy to accompany you on this mission." With that remark, Ron remembered what had transpired before the mission.

Flashback

He was just about to confess to Kim. He ditched his jersey and baggy pants, and chose to wear a blazer, white V-neck, and black jeans. Looking in the mirror he told himself" You can do this Ron, one step for humanity, a huge step for Ron. What do you think Rufus?"Rufus emerged from his pocket, having woken up from a long nap, seeing his owners new attire, simply replied with a thumbs up. He walked out of his house and walked over to his scooter.'You can do this Ron, Kim's been your best friend since Pre-k, I'm sure that she feels the same'. Pumped up and slightly nervous, Ron slowly drove to A fancy restaurant, where he had set up a reservation for him and Kim.

The time was 7:00PM, the dinner was scheduled for 7:45, but he chose to go early, so that he could prepare for his confession. The waiter brought a bowl of bread as appetizer and asked if he wanted to order, Ron responded saying" I'm waiting for someone, so I'm good with the bread" with a bright smile. Time passed and eventually, the time came, 7:45, but no Kim, so naturally he thought' I bet Kim had a small sitch'. The time reached 8:15, and Kim still hadn't arrived, he quickly took out his Kimmunicator asking Wada if he knew the whereabouts of the red haired girl, and he responded saying" Oh, Kim, she should be in Middleton high. Why do you ask?".

Ron, with a sad and slightly disappointed tone responded with" Nothing really, just checking on KP. a smile. Even though Wade saw Ron's smile, he could tell that something was up, but chose not to pry. There was only one thing on Ron's mind' Why is she at Middleton High, and is she safe?'. Ron ran out of the restaurant, he bumped into the waiter, but that didn't stop him. With spilled wine on his shirt, the 18 year old got on his scooter and took off to Middleton high. Little did he know, Kim wasn't in trouble, at least not in the type of trouble he thought she was in.

Kim's POV

1 day prior to the dinner

'Oh my gosh! I can't believe that Josh Mankey, himself, asked me on a date!'. She had been chatting with Monique for the past hour, but then noticed a notification on her screen, it was Josh. They started texting and he started telling her where to meet for the date. 'Alright Kim, you're going to go on a date with the man of your dreams, at school, but nonetheless, a date. You're a teenager, what's wrong with breaking a few rules, trespassing into the school, no biggie.

The day of the dinner

'We can do this Kim! Hmmmm, now what dress should I wear? Maybe my short dress or maybe a skirt. What we're going for is that mature yet not afraid to break the rules type girl, so maybe the skirt and a tube top, and just to be safe, some leggings.'

"Dang girl you've really outdone yourself." Said Kim, looking at herself in the mirror. Okay one hour before the date,Kimmunicator, check, makeup, check, and last but not least, my purse. Now let's just go down stairs and tell mom and dad that I'm going out with my friends, I mean, I'm 18 after all.

" Hey Kimmie" her mom said to her. " Hi mom. I'm just going out with some of my friends". " Okay Kimmie cub, just be back before 10:00pm, Okay?"her dad said while sitting on their couch. " Yes dad" responded Kim. As she rushed out the door, her mom said something, that she couldn't quite hear, she shrugged it off not thinking nothing of it.

End of flash back

Ron's POV

' Oh KP, I hope you're ok.' thought Ron as he drove towards Middleton High. I got off my scooter and approached the door, and noticed one small detail, the lock was open. The sight confirmed that there were people in the school.'Alright, we've made it, now we just have to be on our guard, since who knows what could be keeping Kim here'. "KP are you here?" Ron said while walking down the hallway. After passing a few doors, down the hallway, Ron could hear a girl giggling, saying "Come on Josh, stop teasing me". As Ron got closer to the sounds, he started speeding up. He finally stopped in front of a classroom, with the lights dimmed, and as he opened the door, he saw something that he could never imagine.

Kim's POV

As I arrived at Middleton High, Josh waved at me from the front of the school. The school having little to no security, only had a pad lock on the doors, that with a little tug, would open easily. As Josh and I entered, I marveled at how quiet the school was, no Bonnie, No Barkin, just her and Josh. As we walked down the hall, Josh led me to a room, where he had set up a table with some wine and a platter of charcuterie. " Josh, you shouldn't have." I said and Josh replied with a " Well I did." With a smile, he led me to the table.

I could see the moonlight piercing through the window showing the gleam in Josh's beautiful eyes, and I just wondered how it could get any better, until Josh leaned in close, as he came closer the thoughts ran through my head' Is he really going to kiss me? I can't believe that my crush, Josh Mankey, is actually going to kiss me'. We both leaned in and I felt Josh grab the back of my neck, as our lips drew closer, I could feel the warmth of his lips. The feeling was indescribable, it felt so sweet, that finally after years of the inning for him, I finally had him. The kiss grew deeper, until Josh and I had started locking tongues and kissing, pushing the surrounding desks, as our kiss grew deeper.

He started teasing me and whispering at the back of my ear, sweet little nothings. Suddenly, we both heard the door creek open, and realized that we weren't alone, we slowly got up, and I signaled Josh to hide, while I got up to hit the intruder. As the door opened further, I got myself ready to kick him in the head, and as my kick glided to his face.

Ron's POV

As I opened the door, I saw a foot flying towards my face, not knowing who it was or why they were doing it, I dodged the kick and grabbed the person's leg and proceeded flip the person. Turning on his flashlight, he could see a girl flipped on her head, with red hair, and a short skirt, it was none other than the girl he loved, Kim Possible.

Looking towards the opposite side of the room, he could see Josh Mankey running towards him with his fists flailing, Josh then proceeded to trip one of the desks. As Kim got up, he pieced things together in his mind, and realized that Kim wasn't going to go on a date with Ron, but with Josh.' Man, Kim ditched me to hangout with this sensitive bozo.' he thought. Ron left the room and ran towards his scooter. Ignoring realizing Kim's figure that was running towards him, Ron rode off, no destination, no plan, no heart.

Kim's POV

As she felt her world spin, she realized that the intruder grabbed her leg and flipped her. She finally saw who's face it was, none other than her best friend since Pre K, Ron Stoppable. After seeing his face only one thought came into her head' Our dinner! She forgot about her dinner with Ron, the dinner that Ron constantly reminded her about. Looking back, she realized that her mother's reminder wasn't a reminder to be safe or stay sober, it was a reminder that she had a dinner with Ron'. Looking at him, she could see his wrinkled new clothes, the spilled wine, the stress, and most of all the look on his face, it broke her heart, it was between disgust, heartbreak, and denial. Ron proceeded to run away. As Ron was running, Kim proceeded to chase him, but his speed wasn't the same as earlier in the year, Ron was faster, faster than her. She saw him mount his scooter, and leave.
