In a barracks 3,000 years in the past, a young Asian woman with black hair that stopped just above her shoulders and had bangs over her forehead was slowly waking up as someone shook her. This woman wore only a sleeveless white shirt and brown pants. The person shaking this woman was a light skinned black woman who had long black hair and wore a yellow dress under a black robe with a yellow hem.

"Wake up Rose.",The woman said, shaking the younger woman awake. Rose slowly sat up then said,"What is it Cleo?"

"We have to go get ready. The king wants us to check out something that's happening out in the woods.",Cleo said. Rose groaned then said,"Why can't you take one of the others?"

"Because the king wants all of us to check it out. So get up.",Cleo said. Rose groaned then she got to her feet and followed Cleo, forgetting to put on her boots. The two walked down a hallway that was lit only by torches and Rose said,"Man, you sure this can't wait till morning?"

"Yes I am sure. Now stop whining.",Cleo said in an authoritative tone. Rose rolled her eyes then said,"Okay okay, jeez. Just because you're older than me doesn't mean you can order me around."

"Actually it does.",Cleo said with a smirk. Rose stuck her tongue out at Cleo as she followed her down the hallway. The two eventually came to an armory and Rose said,"Let's get our weapons and armor so we can finish this quickly. I'd like to go back to sleep."

Suddenly, Rose was hit in the back of the head and she fell unconscious. She then awoke and found herself tied to a post that was in the middle of a circle made of seven candles. Rose looked up to see Cleo and six other people walking towards her wearing robes similar to Cleo's.

One of the group was a tall and slim Caucasia old man who had curly grey hair and he wore a black robe with a gold hem over all black clothing. This man's name is Adonis.

Another of the people was a young Caucasian woman not much older than Rose who had long brown that was wild and she wore a black robe with an orange and blue hem over a black dress. This woman's name is Balrog.

Another of the group was a young Caucasian man with short brown hair and he wore a black robe with a lime green hem. This man's name is Jacoby.

Another of the group was a pale Caucasian woman with black hair that was in the feathered fashion and she wore a black robe with a dark pink hem. This woman's name is Voria.

Another of the group was a husky old man with brown hair that was graying on the sides and he wore a black robe with a sickly green hem. This man's name is Rufus.

The last person was a middle aged man with brown hair that was ruffled in its style and he wore a black robe with a red, light blue, and blue hem. This man's name is Hezikiah.

"What's going on? Jacoby, Cleo, Adonis, Rufus, Hezikiah, Voria, Balrog? Why am I tied to this post?",Rose said while struggling against her binds.

"We're ascending beyond human capabilities.",Balrog said.

"We seven warriors are here tonight, to gain a power for which we cannot fight. This young girl shall be sacrificed and as we make a medley, to become vessels for the sin, seven deadly.",Jacoby, Cleo, Adonis, Rufus, Voria, Balrog, and Hezikiah said in unison as they approached one of the seven candles that surrounded Rose. The group then began chanting in an unknown language as each of them held up an icon. Jacoby held up a small jackal statue, Rufus held up a dirty blanket, Cleo held up a silk chemise, Adonis held up a painting of himself, Voria held up a half eaten chicken, Balrog held up a knife, and Hezikiah held up a gold coin. The group then grabbed the candles they stood in front of and used them to set fire to the items they held.

Rose's eyes widened then the ground around her and the group began to shake before a crevice opened and a demonic voice said,"I accept your sacrifice and make you the vessels of the seven deadly sins." before seven different colored orbs came out of the crevice and went into each of the group, beginning to change their appearances. Rose was horrified by what she saw then she was slowly pulled down into the crevice as she yelled,"No! No! No! Why would you all do this to me?! Why?!"

"Nothing personal Rose.",Jacoby said as his eyes glowed red.

"It's just that you're the only one who'd satisfy him.",Voria said as she began to gain a skeletal appearance.

Rose became angered and said,"No! You'll all pay for this! You'll pay for this!" as she was completely dragged into the crevice and it closed. Jacoby, Voria, Adonis, Balrog, Cleo, Rufus, and Hezikiah stood in place now being shrouded in darkness as they were only shown as silhouettes.

In Hell, Rose was chained between two pillars by her arms with her head down. She now had ash and soot all over her, her clothes had burn marks in them, the back of her shirt had been torn open and it showed how she had scars from either being whipped or cut on her back, and her hair was now messy and somewhat shorter while also having smoke coming from the ends. Rose hung limp from her binds then she slowly began to lift her head as she heard the demonic voice say,"Rose, you were sacrificed to me so that your former comrades could become the seven deadly sins."

Rose looked in front of her and said,"I remember. I hate each of them and want them to suffer like I am."

From the endless fires came a man with crimson red skin and silver scales that appeared to armor covering his sides, shoulders, thighs, knees, shins, tops of feet, forearms, tops of hands and spine. This man is of a very muscular build and had black claws at the ends of his fingers and toes. His head had the same crimson skin but his mouth was covered by the silver scales, which formed into a mouthplate that went from cheek to cheek and he had light red glowing eyes and long jet black hair. He also had four silver horns, two coming out of either side of his head and curving upwards while the other two were on his forehead and smaller. This man gently landed in front of Rose then began walking towards her while saying,"If that is true then I should guess what the answer will be once I say my offer."

The monstrous man stopped in front of Rose and put his hand under her chin lifted her head up so she could look him in the eye. He then revealed a flat red crystal that was in the shape of a demon's head with the demon having a horn on the right side bigger than the left horn. Rose looked at the crystal then at the man and weakly said,"What is that?"

"This is the means to which you shall gain vengeance. Do you accept it?",The monstrous man asked Rose. Rose looked at the man and weakly said,"Yes. I accept it, so I can get my revenge on them."

The monstrous man nodded then lifted Rose up so that she stood up straight then he put the crystal to Rose' abdomen and she called out in pain as the crystal began to sear itself to her abdomen. Black chains came from the sides of the crystal and wrapped around Rose's waist, making a belt. Rose gritted her teeth the monstrous man said,"When you awaken, you shall be on the Earth once more. Go forth with your revenge, Drow." (Author's note: the name is pronounced Dr-oh.)

"Who're you?",Rose asked as she began to lose consciousness.

"You may call me Barbatos.",The monstrous man, now known as Barbatos, said as Rose fell unconscious.

In the parking lot of a grocery store, a young Caucasian man with dirty blonde hair was walking to his car while whistling and pulling out his car keys. This young man wore a white t-shirt, black ripped jeans and white shoes.

The young man got to his car and was about to open the door when he heard groaning coming from in front of the car. He went to investigate the groaning and found Rose laying on the pavement on her back. The young man ran to Rose's side and said,"Hey! Hey lady, are you okay?" in a concerned tone. He shook Rose lightly and she began to awaken slowly. Rose saw the young man and immediately got up and got in a fighting stance, which caused the young man to put his hands up and say,"Whoa whoa whoa! Easy easy! I was only trying to help!"

"Who are you?! Where am I?!",Rose questioned as she stayed in her fighting stance.

"What? You don't know where you are?",The young man questioned.

"Answer me!",Rose commanded while moving towards the young man. The young man put his hands up then said,"Okay okay, just calm down and I will answer you."

Rose stopped then the young man said,"Okay. Firstly, my name's Devon. What's yours?"

"Rose.",Rose answered, slowly beginning to soften up.

"Okay Rose, nice to meet you. You're currently in the parking lot outside my job and I don't know how but I found you unconscious in front of my car.",Devon began explaining.

"What are you talking about? What's a parking lot? What's a car?",Rose questioned. Devon raised an eyebrow then said,"You don't know what a car is?"

"No, why would I know of something called a car? Is it an animal or something?",Rose questioned. Devon stood up straight then said,"You're joking right?"

"No, I am not joking. What is a car?",Rose said. Devon's eyes widened then he said,"Oh you're being serious. Okay well, this is a car." while motioning to his car. Rose looked at the car then said,"Huh, that's what this thing is? What does it do?"

"It allows me to go from one place to another.",Devon said.

"Really? Where are your horses though?",Rose questioned.

"It doesn't need horses to move. It has an engine, which gives it electricity that allows it to move.",Devon said. Rose looked at Devon with a raised eyebrow then Devon said,"You don't know what electricity is do you."

"I do not.",Rose replied.

"Oh my god. Are you Amish or something? How do you not know what electricity and a car are?",Devon questioned.

"Well I'm sorry but I had no idea anyone had made these things. My kingdom still uses horses and fire.",Rose said. Devon raised an eyebrow then said,"Kingdom? What are we in the Middle Ages?"

"Middle Ages? Why are you calling the present the Middle Ages?",Rose questioned.

"Because the present isn't the Middle Ages. The Middle Ages were like three thousand years ago.",Devon said nonchalantly. Rose gasped and she began moving back then she said,"Three thousand years? I was down there for three thousand years?"

"Down where?",Devon questioned. Rose sat down then she said,"Oh my god, I was down there for three millennia."

"Uh, you okay? I mean I can clearly see you're in distress but I'm confused as to why.",Devon said as he stood next to Rose. Rose looked at Devon and her eyes flashed green, which made him back up in surprise while saying,"Whoa."

Unbeknownst to the two, a crow was watching them from a tree and it flew away suddenly. The crow flew across town and only stopped when it came to the balcony of a condominium and perched itself on the railing. The crow then squawked and someone said,"I'm on my way." in a southern belle accent. This person came out of the condo and was revealed to be Cleo, who didn't age at all in the past 3,000 years. Cleo's hair was now shorter and wavy than it previously was and she has a nose ring. Cleo currently wore a black lace kimono over a yellow and black nightie and she was barefoot.

Cleo smiled and petted the crow with her index finger while saying with her now southern belle like accent,"Morning little bird, what news do you have for me?"

The crow squawked and Cleo's smile went away and she said in a bewildered tone,"What? That's impossible."

The crow squawked then its eyes flashed yellow and Cleo's flashed the same color, causing Cleo to keep her astonished expression while saying,"My word. I can't believe it. How is she here?!"

Cleo then looked at the crow and said,"Observe her and tell one of the grunts to attack her. I have to inform my comrades of this." before she walked away from the crow as it flew away.

Back with Rose and Devon, the two had moved to a coffee shop's outside seating area with Rose sitting and looking around the area while Devon got them beverages . Devon came back with two cups of cappuccino and he put one on the table and said,"Here you go. Figured you'd be thirsty so I got you something too."

Rose looked at the cup in front of her with confusion then said,"What is this?"

"It's a cappuccino. It's coffee.",Devon said after taking a sip of his cappuccino.

"And coffee is?",Rose questioned.

"Right, you most likely didn't have coffee where you're from. Coffee is a drink that comes from a kind of bean known as coffee beans. It gives you energy.",Devon explained. Rose looked at the cappuccino then she hesitantly picked up the cup and took a sip of the drink. Rose gained a happy expression then she gulped down the rest of the cappuccino before saying in an excited tone,"Oh my goodness this is amazing! Give me more!"

"I've never seen anyone drink anything that fast before.",Devon said, completely amazed by what he just saw. He then shook his head while saying,"Anyway, you mind explaining why I found you passed out in front of my car, as well as why you look like you have been through hell and high water."

"Well I haven't been through high water but you actually just said where I was.",Rose said. Devon raised an eyebrow then said,"You were in Hell? Does that make you a ghost or something? Because if so then I'm going to church the second I get away from you."

Rose hit Devon in the shin then said,"No you idiot, I'm not a ghost. At least I think I'm not. Look, all I know is I made a deal with a guy named Barbatos and then I woke up looking at you."

"You made a deal with a guy from Hell? I'm sure that won't come back to haunt you in someway.",Devon said, with the last sentence being in a sarcastic tone. Rose kicked Devon in his shin and he grabbed his shin while saying,"Ow! Stop kicking me! It feels like a freakin semi-truck is being rammed into it."

Rose raised an eyebrow then Devon said,"Okay, let's say that this whole you going to hell thing is true. Exactly how did you get there? Like did you die or something?"

Rose gained an anger filled expression then said,"I was betrayed by my comrades and they sacrificed me so that they could gain power."

"Oh, that sucks.",Devon said while leaning back in his chair with surprised yet fearful expression.

"Sucks is an understatement. I hate each of them and am going to get revenge on them or at least I would if they were alive. They probably aren't considering I was down there for 3,000 years.",Rose said, with rage very present in her voice. Devon blinked then said,"True, but you never know. I mean you seem to be doing good all things considered. Well besides the stuff about being in Hell that is."

Rose groaned then she began to get a tingling sensation in the back of her head and she said,"You feel that?"

"Feel what?",Devon asked.

"Like a tingling in the back of your head.",Rose said.

"Uh, no. Why do you ask?",Devon asked.

"Because I feel it and it's getting worse.",Rose said before she stood up and turned around to see a construction worker scowling at her with his eyes being completely red. Devon stood up and saw the man before saying,"Who's the constitution worker?"

"I don't know but he's making that tingling become really really annoying.",Rose said. She and Devon were then surprised when the belt she acquired earlier from Barbatos appeared around her waist from a stream of blood red flames. Rose and Devon gained surprised expressions then Devon said,"What's that?"

"Something I got from Barbatos. I don't remember what it is though because I was in a lot of pain when it was burned into my skin.",Rose said. Devon looked at Rose, still having his surprised expression. The construction worker growled then it let out a torrent of fire towards Rose and Devon, with Rose jumping out of the way and pushing Devon down. Several patrons of the coffee shop were killed by this torrent of fire and everyone else ran away.

Rose got onto one knee while Devon sat up and said in a noticeably fearful tone,"Did that guy just breathe fire?!"

"Yes he did. Also that isn't a guy, which I assume is another word for a man, he's a demon.",Rose said.

"A demon?!",Devon yelled with fear. Rose then grabbed his wrist and ran away, just in time to dodge a car that was thrown at them. The construction worker had since transformed into a demon that had red skin and dark red eyes. He was also very muscular to the point where his shirt tore off and his pants legs, below his knees, also tore off. The demon has horns coming out of his forehead and he had no lips, making his dagger like teeth visible to anyone. The demon was also about seven feet tall.

Rose and Devon ran then they got behind a car and Devon said,"Okay, so I already kinda believed you when you told me the whole being in hell thing. Now, I believe you wholeheartedly and want to know HOW ARE WE GONNA GET OUT OF THIS!"

"Will you calm down. You act like you've never seen a demon before.",Rose said.

"That's because I haven't seen a demon before! I don't think anyone has, unless they're like a prophet or something!",Devon said.

"I have and I'm no profit.",Rose said.

"Really?",Devon questioned, to which Rose nodded in response. Devon sighed then said,"I woke up this morning and thought "hey Devon, why don't you go to the store and get some stuff to cook breakfast with." but no, I had to walk around the dang store then come back to my car and get roped into all of this."

Rose sighed in frustration then she thumped Devon on his forehead and he fell back while saying,"Ow." and putting his hand on his forehead. The car in front of them was then picked up by the demon and it snarled at them. Devon screamed in terror just before Rose pushed him away then jumped onto the sidewalk as the demon used the car as a weapon to try and crush the two. Rose scowled at the demon then her eyes flashed azure and she said,"Whoa, that was weird. But since I have no other options."

Rose then stood up and said,"Henshin."

Blood red flames engulfed Rose then they dissipated and Rose now stood in all red armor over a blood red under suit. The gauntlets and shin guards of the armor had black chains wrapped around the wrists and ankles while the right gauntlet had black chains wrapped around it. On her neck was a black scarf, which went down her back to her waist forming somewhat of a cape. Rose's helmet was red and had an azure visor that was in the shape of beastly eyes and it also had two horns on either side with the right horn being larger than the left horn.

The crystal on the belt changed so that it resembled Rose' helmet as it then announced in a masculine voice,"RAZE HELL, DROW! FLAME FORM!"

Devon's eyes widened while the demon growled as it turned to Rose, who shall be referred to as Drow whenever she is in her armor. Drow looked at her armor and said,"Huh, this is new."

Drow then looked at the demon as it threw a punch at her. She dodged the punch then punched the demon in the jaw before punching it two more times then roundhouse kicking it twice. The demon stumbled back then roared before breathing fire at Drow, who dodged it by jumping high into the air then landing behind the demon. Her eyes flash azure and Drow took off her scarf and it changed into a black hilted red bladed scythe.

"Oh, I am so going to enjoy using this!",Drow said with excitement before she spun the scythe around at a fast pace then brandished it. The demon roared and lunged at Drow, with her slashing it across the chest several times then turning it backwards and bashing the demon in the head with the hilt of her scythe. Drow then kicked the demon in the back before slashing it once more with her scythe. The demon roared in both pain and anger then it charged at Drow, ready to kill her.

Drow readied herself then she noticed and indent on her scythes hilt that was the same shape as the crystal on her belt. She took the crystal off of her belt and put it into the indent causing it to announce in the same voice as the belts,"PENANCE BREAK!"

The blade of Drow's scythe had blood red flames engulf and surge from it as she readied herself. Once the demon was close, Drow slashed it across its torso before slashing it down the middle. The demon gargled and convulsed then it exploded as Drow's scythe changed back into a scarf and wrapped around her neck, while the crystal reattached to her belt.

Drow then reverted into Rose and she let out a sigh of relief then said,"That felt good." with a small grin.

Devon walked up to Rose with a look of amazement, surprise, and overall confusion then he said,"Okay firstly, that was awesome! Second, why didn't you just do that the second that thing started attacking us. And last but not least, what did I just witness?!"

"Uh, first I didn't know I could do it until it popped in my head randomly, second you just witnessed a demon fight firsthand, and last but not least what does awesome mean?",Rose said. Devon sighed then he raked his hand through his hair then said,"Okay, this is too much for me to take for right now. I'm going home so I can process this and probably take a nap."

Devon then looked back and said,"And my car was destroyed by that demon. *sigh* I'm so glad my house is within walking distance."

Devon then began walking back to his home, but he looked to his left to see Rose following him. He raised an eyebrow then asked,"Why are you following me?"

"Because I have nowhere to go and you're the only person I know.",Rose said. Devon thought about it briefly then said,"Okay." while he and Rose continued walking. As the two were walking, Devon looked at Rose and said,"Probably should get you some clothes while on the way. Unless you like wearing that."

"I am okay with getting new clothes. Where's the nearest seamstress?",Rose said. Devon sighed then said,"I'm gonna have to teach you a lot about the modern day, aren't I."

"I thought that was obvious.",Rose said.

Unbeknownst to the two, the crow from earlier had seen the entire fight from a lamp post. The crow then flew away, still being unnoticed by Rose or Devon.

In the conference room of a large office building, Adonis sat in a golden chair facing the window. Adonis had relatively the same appearance as he did 3,000 years ago except now he had a mustache and had a shaved head. He wore a gold hooded crombie coat, dark red t-shirt, black pants, and black pixie boots.

Adonis heard a knock at the door then said in a Scottish accent,"Come in."

The door opened and Cleo walked in, now wearing a black pantsuit with yellow heels and a yellow blouse, along with Jacoby, Rufus, and Voria. The trio hadn't aged at all since they were last seen. Jacoby's hair was now slightly longer and he wore a brown hoodie over a lime green shirt, black jeans, and brown boots. Rufus wore a dark green fisherman's hat, a light blue Hawaiian shirt, cargo shorts, and dark green flip flops. Voria was now slightly thinner that she was previously and she wore a rosewood pink colored shirt under a black leather jacket, blue jeggings, and pink converse.

"Oh looky here. If it isn't my old comrades from the olden days.",Adonis said while turning to face the group.

"Hey Adonis. See you've done good for yourself.",Jacoby said while being somewhat jittery.

"Of course I have Jacoby. A man with my talents will do nothing but succeed.",Adonis said with pride.

"Ugh, succeeding sounds like too much work.",Rufus lamented while sitting in a chair and slouching.

"Of course you'd say that ya fat dobber.",Adonis said to Rufus. Voria sat down while eating some popcorn and Jacoby looked at her and said,"Hey Voria, mind if I get some popcorn?"

"Not at all buddy. After this I'm gonna go to a buffet, wanna join?",Voria said. Jacoby nodded while taking some popcorn then he and the others looked at the door as Hezikiah and Balrog walked into the room. Hezikiah and Balrog, like the others hadn't aged since they were last seen. Hezikiah had a black eye patch over his left eye and his hair was in a *sticky uppy* style. He wore a black suit jacket over a red button up, blue pants and black converse.

Balrog's hair was in the style of cornrows and she wore a black sports bra under a navy blue hoodie, navy blue women's mma shorts that had orange lines on them, and black and orange running shoes.

"Hey there friends. Long time no see.",Hezikiah said, in a British accent, cheerfully while putting his hands in his pockets. Balrog rolled her eyes then said,"Why were called here? I was just about to fight someone and you all know I don't like it when people interfere with me fighting."

"Calm down Balrog, I didn't call you all here just to catch up. I actually have some rather urgent news to tell you.",Cleo said while moving over to the window so her crow could fly in and perch itself on her shoulder.

"And what would that news be Ms Cleo?",Adonis asked, still sounding very prideful. Cleo turned her gaze to the other six adults then she said,"It's about Rose, somehow she's returned."

Adonis, Voria, Rufus, Jacoby,Hezikiah, and Balrog gasped while having astonished expressions come upon their faces at what Cleo just told them.
