Summary/Disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Seabound Sweethearts. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own Azur Lane, Shanghai Manjuu, Ximen Yongshi and a few others do.

The base was surprised to see 4 Royal Navy soldiers when they arrived at the gate. They let their comrades in after confirming their identifies and such.

It was refreshing to finally get out of the sun and inside where they could finally relax.

Wales, Hood, Spitfire, and Belfast walked to their rooms. They were given time to rest, relax, and unwind. Their mission was to be pushed back by a week or so due to the damage they caused to the Ironblood made their relief fleet have to stop and consider pushing onward.

"Spits!" Spitfire turned to see Belfast behind him. he cocked his head to the side as the maid warrior skated up to him.

"Hmm? What's the problem, Bel?" Spitfire blinked, turning from the window of his room back to her.

"I was wondering why you holed up in your room when you got here? you went quiet." Belfast stated, Spitfire cracked his back, he was glad he didn't have to rest the flight gear on his spine anymore.

"Sorry, I've been tired. I got to heal up for if they need us for Kingfisher again… that and the fact that I don't know what else to do, I've not really gotten to do much else recently but fight." Spitfire rested his hands on his hips and hummed.

Belfast looked at him, he wanted to talk to them before, and now he was quiet. She did understand the fact that they were fighting a war and wars often drained the people fighting them? Belfast considered Spitfire to be her friend, and friends didn't just walk away from other friends without at least giving a good reason.

"You haven't talked to Wales or Hood?" Belfast asked, a raised eyebrow as her friend shrugged and looked around in amusement.

Belfast leaned on the door as Spitfire sighed. He cracked his hands; he really was tired from the recent combat. You get shot down like him and survive? Your gonna want to take a few days off before you get back to kicking the snot out of the enemy on the other side.

It didn't help that he was designed to go and help on this one mission as a prototype. He did have flaws that meant future models wouldn't… a big one being how his armaments weren't that effective against more heavily armored targets at times, and how thin his own armor was if he got into a fight with people.

"C'mon, we're going to the cafeteria." Belfast grabbed her friend's arm and started to drag him through the base.

Spitfire didn't offer any resistance, unsure what to do anyway. he was supposed to be relaxing and then Belfast ran in, dragged him off and didn't say very much anyway.

He sighed as Belfast dragged him through the base. He raised an eyebrow and hummed.

"Uh… why exactly do we have to go to the café?" he questioned, unsure what was going to happen next.

Belfast smirked and turned back to look at her friend with amusement.

"I'm going to show you how to relax. You don't spend relaxing just sitting around and sleeping." Spitfire got another head cock from her friend.

She found it amusing he went back and forth between being super serious, and being mad that they had to constantly fight. she understood how stressful combat could be and how they needed to relax. Belfast, however?

She didn't spend her time between deployment sleeping and waiting for the next mission. she wasn't going to let Spitfire spend his first time away from a mission to rest and relax sleeping and waste it.

Belfast hummed and opened the door to the cafeteria which made Spitfire blink at seeing a new room in the base he hadn't seen before.

Belfast went to go get food and looked at Spitfire as he started to look around the room in wonder. He took in the new sights and started walking around slowly.

Belfast giggled despite herself and allowed her friend time to adjust. She would step in when her friend was done looking around the room like it was the most perfect thing since sliced bread.

Spitfire turned and laid her head in her hands on the palms of her hands, she smirked in amusement and turned to the other soldiers in the room.

They would have another battle with the Ironblood. Belfast knew the war wasn't going to end unless the Ironblood was battered apart in the battle coming up. she didn't want to kill them, but they would force her to, Ironblood didn't want to lose the war they had started.

Still, it wasn't all bad, not with friends around, it would be a very fun experience if they could relax enough to enjoy.

"What is this place? It looks so cool… so, so cool." Belfast giggled despite herself.

Her friend slowly walked to the table with amusement.
