Hey guys! I'm back with another chapter. I know it's been a while, so I wanted to apologize to all my fans for taking so long. I actually have a confession to make, I've had most of this chapter written for about 2-3 months now and I don't know why it took me so long to finish it. I guess it started out with my depression, which then turned to straight-up procrastination.I want to say thank you to everyone who's reviewed or liked my story. You guys are the reason why i'm gonna finish this story. Also, the outside world has been pretty hectic lately, with all the police brutalities and riots that have happened recently. I pray that everyone is safe when protesting and while i understand where it comes from, the looting of places actually hurt the movement a lot more than it helps us. I also hope if that you go out, please keep all hygiene standards because Covid-19 is still out there and I pray that everyone and their loved ones stay safe. Reading and stories has always been an outlet for me to escape my world when it got rough, so im gonna try to keep writing more consistently for my own mental health. Sometimes i just lose myself in the world building. School's almost over for us so that should help. Thank you guys for all your support, I hope you guys enjoy the chapter.
TheHiddenLettuce: I'm glad you like the story so far. You don't understand what it means to me. And I have a bunch of ideas for how this story could go after the chunin arc, even separate books after this one. I also really want to get past the chunun test and i'm going to try my best.
Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto. If i did, Itachi would still be alive and shisui would've come back when Kabuto brung all the dead people back. I own the OCs and the plot. Some elements of the game system comes from other stories and i give them all due credit for their influence in my writing.
As I was walking, I was really taking in what happened to me and how crazy my life was now. There was a whole new world created, because I pleased some random ass god. At least i wasn't in his debt, he still owes me for killing my brother. Now that i'm in Naruto, i might as well make the best of it. And the show didn't do justice to just how big Konoha really was. It was about 7 miles in diameter and about 22 miles around the wall. There were a bunch of different sized buildings ranging from small shops to giant towers. There was also the massive mountain with the faces of all the previous hokage staring down on the village. I really wonder how long does it take to build someone's face on that mountain; did they hand carve them or did they use earth ninjutsu. And it isn't Konoha without a ridiculously large amount a lot of trees everywhere, int the village and in all 55 of the training fields. No wonder all the other villages call us tree huggers, it doesn't matter though because we won all the wars. Suck it!
All in all though, Hashirama really knew how to make a village. Konoha is a testament to how powerful he really was. How many other characters you know can create a whole village without suffering from chakra exhaustion for the rest of their lives. Thank Kami he was an idiot or i would be scared for how this world would've turned out. Imagine konoha with all nine bijuu, scary thought.
On the way to the question mark on my mini map, i was really contemplating what am i doing here. I mean i knew that i had that heart-felt moment that all anime protagonists have that drives them for the rest of the series, but i was in over my head. If i want to protect the hero of the show, i'm gonna definitely need more power because i unfortunately wont have plot armor and i'm not trying to catch an L. Screw being weak, i'm gonna milk this gamer ability for all it's worth.
Mini-life crisis over, after about 10 minutes of walking, I finally got to the mysterious question mark. It was a cave hidden behind the trees. Inside it was about the size of a town house. The best part was that it looked like a secret base. After walking around for about five minutes, i noticed that there was a bunch of kanji markings that spelled 'root'. I guess it was an old root base.
Seeing how this place was abandoned, i decided to use it as my new base of operations. It wasn't like somebody was using it and plus Danzo wasn't gonna be a problem for me. I'll make sure of that. I felt like this was a good time to start learning some skills. The first one i really wanted was the Speed Force. Because I didn't have all the chemicals that Barry Allen had when he created the speed force. I would have to use a different approach then him. I got into a meditative position and began to meditate.
My first idea was to try and use chakra to create my own speed force. I tried coating my entire body with my chakra letting it seep into my body in an effort to make me faster. wasn't ans exact science, but i don't see anyone else giving suggestions, so don't judge me

Chakra Reinforcement lvl 1 (0%): By surrounding your body with chakra, your chakra creates a protective layer around you decreasing the damage you take;
At this level, you can take 10% less damage from all attacks.
This has a lot of potential. At higher levels, this skill has promise. But it's not what i'm looking for so moving on.
My next idea was to channel chakra into a ball and then try to absorb it into me. Hindsight proved that that wasn't the smartest idea
The speed force is a multiversal force of nature fueled by the kinetic energy of everyone that lived in that multiverse, how was i supposed to recreate that? Then it hit me. The speed force equation. I mean it was a bit of a stretch since it was from a comic, but at this point what was the harm in trying?
If i remember correctly, Johnny Quick, the speed force formula describes a fourth dimensional construct and if you can envision the formula into your mind, you'll be able to tap into the speed force. My only concern was that there was a possibility that i would just get faster and I wouldn't gain a connection with the speed force, but you'll never know unless you try.
So i got into my meditative position again and said the famed fourth-dimensional equation,
"3X2(9YZ)4A"
After I said those words, everything went black.
When I came to i found myself in this giant expanse. All around me was lightning, and there was a giant storm cloud forming above me This must be the speed force. It was beautiful all around me was pure kinetic energy, so thick it was suffocating. Before i knew it, the storm above me grew, surrounding the entire world. Suddenly a single massive beam of lightning came from the storm and hit me.
The pain was unbearable. The power behind the beam was too strong, and it was destroying my body. I began to scream, the speed force was rejecting my body and i couldn't take the pain.

Then i realized something, this was all mental pressure. Meaning with a little bit of will power, the combined might of me and Gamer's mind should be able to stop this power. I got into a meditative position and started to focus
I began to think of things that mattered to me: my brother. I hated how weak i felt when he died and how I couldn't do anything. That night, I swore to myself that I would never feel like that again. And this lightning wasn't gonna stop me. I started drawing my chakra to my mind to fortify it when i received this message

I decided to test out my new skills and put them into practice,
I left the cave and walked until where i found a small clearing, the perfect place for me to test my abilities.
Every gamer fanfiction I've ever read had this next ability pretty much gift wrapped for them, so i was gonna be very disappointed if i was gonna have to work for it,
ID Create
I watched the world bleed into darker colors as the sky turned dark red and the peaceful sounds of nature that normally felt like relaxing background music suddenly disappeared as everything went eerily silent. Not a second later I began to hear the low groans and savage snarls of undead creatures looking to feast on the living and my breath started to hitch. Not a second later, I sighed again as Gamer's Mind shattered the crazy fear that was beginning to build in me and my mind went into auto-pilot.
The first thing I did was to active the speed force ability I created and since that was activated along with Observe i was still gonna level up. I opened my inventory and took out two kunai that i found inside of the base. this was gonna be fun.
Not wanting to waste any more time I walked out to the center of the clearing, and not a second later a zombie began to walk awkwardly towards me and I grimaced in disgust at its appearance. Its skin was a greenish gray, chunks of meat were missing on some places and one of its eyes was out of its socket. It was glaring at me with baleful red yes surrounded by sickly yellow sclera and its rotten teeth were shown when it snarled at me.
Gamer's Mind stopped me from retching when i saw this hideous thing and its appearance went to the back burner as I focused my attention to what Observe was showing me about this zombie.
Zombie. Lvl 12.

A dead body that moves. It cannot remember its life so it hates the living succumbing to a primal desire to eat human flesh in order to remember. It is very slow and stupid, but zombies have superhuman strength, and durability. They may look weak, but where there's one zombie, there's more coming
I nodded to myself at the information and quickly stepped towards it. It lunged at me with a snarl of hunger and I easily side stepped it thanks to my reinforced DEX and did a generic diagonally downward slash at its side, making meat and blood fly. It recoiled and shouted in pain as it twitched away from me but I paid it no attention but focused more on its HP and how much damaged I had caused to it with a normal slash attack.

I blinked in shock at taking almost sixty percent of its HP with just one generic attack and my mind quickly went through the calculations and after a few seconds a grin so wide that it almost split my face in half appeared. It seems like at least with bladed weapons the total damage output depended on the base damage of the weapon and much STR and DEX I had. The most like calculation that went there was the base damage of the weapon I was using plus the total amount of STR and the result of that multiplied by the total amount of DEX.
This will definitely make things a lot more interesting.
I used the speed force to flash towards it and rammed my weapon into its face ignoring the critical hit massage that appeared right after I did so. I backed away and pulled my blade out of its head and I watched it twitch erratically as the zombie's HP steadily went down until it reached zero and when that happened it stopped moving and fell forward, hitting the forest grass face first with a thud. A second later it disappeared in a cloud of yellow dust-like smoke that smelled disgustingly like piss and shit. Ugh.
I noticed that it awarded me with a healthy amount of XP it left some loot and I was about to move towards it to see what I have gotten when I heard more groans and snarls and I turned towards further forward on the street and I saw at least twenty zombies moving slowly but purposely towards me. They would be on me in less than a minute and I didn't want to be caught off guard and had the zombies not been such blatant and slow opponents that would've happened due to my interest in the loot.
It only took me a few seconds to recall a feature that would help me solve that problem and I smirked at the incoming zombies. "Enable Auto-Loot," I said and I watched as the loot from the first zombie I killed disappeared and on the lower left corner of my HUD an icon in the form of a back with a red six pointed start appeared wiggling occasionally. I would be best to leave that option enabled always so nobody asked why random items would appear after I would kill someone. The fact that they would disappear out of nowhere would be suspicious enough, but i don't really care about that. Can always blame it on a kekkei genkai.
My full attention on the incoming mob of zombies I grinned and brandished my dual kunai. With a gracious use of the speeed force I appeared before them taking them off guard with my speed and a swing of my weapon later the second zombie of the session was killed with an obviously critical hit. My foot lashed out in a roundhouse kick once I settled on the ground and I sent a third zombie off the ground into two of its brethren while my free hand unleashed a Chakra Blast that sent three others away scrambling ridiculously.
I saw that the zombies I had not killed had received significant damage but not as much as a normal strike of my blade. I knew that I could kill them all in minutes if I used my long range skills with the OP speed force but I had a grinding plan in which I would use purely short-mid range combat against these one and deal with the boss at long range. That way I'll be able to grind both set of skills safely and at the same pace more or less.
I looked back at the swarm of zombies that were coming to where i was. There was almost 1000 zombies surrounding me now.
My grin turning positively savage, reminiscent of the joker. I stared at the suddenly quivering in their boots and crying for their mama group of zombies. And i said one of the most badass lines ever recorded in DC history
"This will be over... in a flash,"
As the last zombie of the horde disappeared in a small explosion of disgusting smoke I grinned as notification after notification appeared on my HUD. Killing off a thousand zombies had been a lot easier than i thought it would be. As strong as they were, they were slow as shit which basically meant that the speed force would have me running circles around Speed force ability is Insanely overpowered. I may still have a low level in it, but since i created the ability, i'm the generator of this worlds speed force. Meaning that it will grow over time.

The first thing I noticed was the significant boost in strength after I gained those levels and subsequently the passive boost to my HP and CP and everything related to them gave me. After that there was another boost of power due to the increase of my VIT, STR and DEX. With just that I was already stronger than what I had been when I first entered the ID. I absently equipped my new title which made me take notice of the seventy five points I know had which I was going to be using shortly.
The next was how the skill I had been using constantly through the fight (read brutal ass-kicking from the gods) leveled up exponentially a lot compared to the grind of the day before. Observe went up to level fifty and now Observe will tell me the person's stats along with their feelings and their alliances which would be really useful in the future. Detect bloodlust also went up a lot thanks to the desire of the zombies of inflicting harm on me and its range increased a lot.
Chakra Reinforcement also got a lot of levels thanks to me using it constantly while I fought and it now sat at level fifteen with its bonus increasing along with the amount of CP it cost decreasing. Chakra blast also went over level ten and the entirety of the skill improved nicely.
Because I kept using taijutsu during the fight with them zombies, my taijutsu mastery went from level 0 to about level 30.
Taijutsu Tier 1(genin) lvl 30(10%): your overall ability to use your hands and feet to fight and your mastery in certain styles of fighting.

Eventually i was gonna find a new fighting style, but for now the academy style would do. That was the extent of my improvement by just fighting almost a thousand zombies but I still wasn't satisfied, that fight i barely was sweating. I could become stronger right now and that was exactly what I did. I guess zombie slaying was gonna become a weekly thing.
'ID Escape'
I watched as everything around me returned back to normal and started walking back towards. All in all, i would say that this was a very productive day. When i made it back to the base, i didn't feel like staying up tonight so i sat on the couch and everything faded into black.
