Since there's a pandemic that's keeping everyone inside their homes, I figured I would post another story. First try at DMHG.

Lightning flashed in the distance followed by rolling thunder as heavy rain continued to batter down on Hermione Granger's home. She sat in her living room, in front of a cosy fire reading a book as she enjoyed her night off. A blanket rested on her thighs to keep her warm while the heat from the fire warded off the chilly breeze that would pass through the cracks. Soft music played in the background lulling the healer as she lost herself in another world. Impatient knocking pulled her back from her book.

'That's strange,' the woman of twenty-five thought. 'Who would be out in this weather?' she stood up from her comfortable seat, quite annoyed at the unexpected and unwelcome visitor for interrupting her time of peace. The knocks continued with desperation and the doctor found herself moving faster to the front door, her long dark hair billowing behind her in haste.

"Granger, please open the door," a voice came muffled from the other side of the door. "It's Draco Malfoy and I need your help." Her eyes widened at the name of her guest and she hastened her pace. She pulled open the door and was met with a shocking sight. There stood on her porch, a man with blond hair and frightened blue-grey eyes drenched and shivering. In his arms lay a small bundle that he held protectively. Rain continued to pour as they stood there staring at each other. Another crash of thunder brought Hermione back to her senses.

"Draco?" she asked. "Get inside, you're going to be sick at this rate," she ordered as she walked away from the door to let him enter. "Missy!" she called towards the back of the house. A young female house elf popped into the room, seemingly unbothered by the rude awakening she received. "Get me some towels and prepare a warm bath in my bathroom. Turn up the heat in my room while I take care of our visitors." Hermione said with great authority. The young elf popped off to do her bidding while the healer turned back to her guest who was standing in front of the still open door, shivering in the cold.

"Granger, please h-help my s-son," he stuttered, holding out the small bundle to the woman in front of him.

"Let me see him," she reached out. "What happened?" she asked as he closed the door to finally ward off the chilly breeze.

"H-he was crying n-non-s-stop the w-whole n-night a-and t-then h-his l-lips t-turned b-blue a-and h-he s-stopped c-crying and I panicked. I don't know what's wrong with him," by the end of his sentence, Hermione had cast a warming charm over all of them and he was no longer shivering.

"Why didn't you take him to the hospital?"

"I couldn't go that far in this weather. Will you help him?" despite the warming charm she had cast on him, he was still rubbing his arms to ward off the cold.

"Of course, I will," she said. "But first, you need to take off those clothes. You're soaked and you might get sick if you don't." she then noticed his apprehension. "I'll go get a towel for you. In the meantime, strip," she ordered.

"Everything?" he asked, momentarily forgetting that he was in front of a healer. He could only see her as the beautiful woman she was.

"Yes, everything," she said. "On second thought, leave your underwear on. I don't know what Missy will do if she sees you naked." She smirked.

"Haven't you and your house elf seen naked men before, Granger?" he matched her smirk as he started to take off his clothes, purposely keeping his eyes trained on her own chocolate gaze while he did so.

"I've seen many men naked and not one of them had any effect on me," she retorted. "So why should you?"

"Does that mean what I think it means?" he asked mischievously.

"Look at it the way you want to, I won't stop you but I meant it the way I said it," she replied then ascended the stairs to the room, the small child still in her arms.

Malfoy was left in the living room pondering her words. He was unable to confirm whether she was serious or not. His thoughts were thwarted when Missy popped back into the room carrying towels. She offered them to him, looking away from the sight of his well-toned and muscular body.

"Thank you, Missy," he said and received a blush in response.

"Mistress said that you should go upstairs as soon as you got the towel," she whispered. "Her room is the first door to the left. She's waiting for you there with your son." Malfoy would've laughed at the blushing elf, but the reminder of his son's unknown health brought back his worry. He nodded to the elf and ran up the stairs to the bedroom that was directed to him.

Hermione took the child's temperature as she waited for Draco to come. The baby was shivering uncontrollably, and his fever ran high. On his back, she could see the marks that confirmed her diagnosis. She was just about to give the baby a cold bath when Draco rushed into the room with only a large towel wrapped around his muscular form.

"How is he?" he asked, unmindful of his state of undress as he looked at his son in Hermione's arms.

"He'll be fine after a bath," Hermione assured him. "It seems your son has gotten the dragon pox." All colour drained from Draco's face at her diagnosis. "Like I said, I'll give your son a bath then I'll feed him a potion and he'll be right as rain in a few days. Now, you won't be if you don't take a warm shower. Take the bathroom here; I'll bathe him in the other room." He only nodded in response.

Hermione stared at the sleeping baby in her arms. "He's beautiful and he's no doubt, Draco's son. But where is his mom, who is his mom? Did she leave?" her thoughts cut short when she noticed the man who was staring at her from the doorway of her bedroom. "Draco Malfoy was a handsome man with his blond hair and stunning blue-grey eyes. His body was muscular though not overly so and she could see herself running her hands through his platinum locks as he ~" she stopped that train of thought.

"Hermione," her first name sounded foreign on his tongue, but he couldn't exactly call her Granger seeing as he was standing at the doorway to her bedroom half-naked save for the towel wrapped around his waist. "Do you have spare clothes I could use?" his voice was smooth and velvety, like dark chocolate.

"Yes, I think," she replied as she thought about it. "Bottom drawer of my dresser, there should be some clothes there that should fit you."

"I'm sorry we barged in like this," he apologized as he rummaged said drawer for some clothes.

"It's alright."

"I just panicked when he suddenly stopped crying," Draco said as he slipped into a pair of grey sweatpants, giving Hermione a perfect view of his firm buttocks.

"Where's her mother?" Hermione asked as she tried to forget the sight she had just seen. She didn't notice the way his shoulders stiffened.

"She's gone," was his simple reply. This time she took notice of the way he answered her question.

"You don't have to tell me if you're uncomfortable," she told him.

"No, it's alright," he said as he walked towards the bed shirtless. "I mean, you've helped me so much it's the least I could do."

"You really don't have to."

"I want to," he said as he sat down next to her. "Astoria left a month after Scorpius was born."

"Why?"

"She really didn't want to have a baby," he said. "She'd tried to terminate but luckily, a house elf saw what she was planning to do. Turnip came to me and I was able to stop her in time. I had her under a magical oath not to harm our baby. I had no idea what she was planning. A month after Scorpius was born, she just left. There was no indication that she was leaving. I just came home one evening to find that everything Astoria owned was gone. She didn't leave a note or anything. I found Scorpius sleeping in the nursery and that was it."

"I'd say Scorpius is eight months old, am I right?"

"Yes," he said.

"You've done a great job raising him," she complimented.

"Apparently, not good enough." Draco mumbled self-deprecatingly as he looked away from her curious eyes.

"What do you mean?"

"Scorp wouldn't have been infected if it weren't for me," he ran a hand through his platinum locks in frustration. "There's dragon pox going around the hospital where I'm working. I thought I'd decontaminated well enough before I went home but…"

"Scorpius is going to be alright." She assured him. "Now why don't you get some rest yourself? I'd rather have him close so I can watch him but if you also want to stay here, you're welcome to," she said.

"You don't mind?" his eyebrows shot up in surprise.

"Not at all," she insisted. "Although I would like to ask you not to try anything,"

"I would never!" he looked offended until she smiled mockingly at him.

"I know that, I'm just saying."

"Thank you so much for helping me, I didn't mean to impose."

"It's not a problem." She smiled at him as he lay down on her bed. She followed suit after setting the baby on the transfigured bassinet on the floor.

She woke up encased in warmth and her eyes flashed open in surprise. In her disorientation she couldn't remember what had happened the night before, or why there was a man in her bed.

"Good morning," his voice was deep and rasping with sleep, but it was one that she recognized. She sagged against him in relief, her whole body relaxing at the knowledge that she was safe.

"Good morning Draco. How are you feeling?" he pulled her closer to his chest, the motion oddly intimate and yet it felt right.

"Much better than last night."

"That's good." she commented. "It seems Scorpius feels better as well seeing as he hasn't woken up once in the night."

"I'm sorry for barging in."

"It's fine," she tried to assure him while at the same time discreetly inhaling his scent. "It was an emergency anyway."

"I still feel bad. It seems as if we had intruded on your vacation."

"I wasn't doing anything important."

"You were trying to relax."

"Don't worry, I'll get more of that soon enough. I have about two years' worth of leave to cash in on."

"That is so you."

"Indeed, now stop talking and let me sleep." she mumbled sleepily, listening to the rumbles in his chest as he chuckled. The steady beating of his heart lulled her to sleep once more.

"Draco!" green eyes widened in surprise at the sight of the tall blond man walking towards him. "What brings you here?"

"Potter," blue-grey eyes refused to meet the Saviour's mischievous ones. After a few moments of tense silence, Draco sighed and looked straight into the teasing gaze of his best mate's lover. "Harry."

"Now, was that so hard?" Harry smiled at the blond whose lips turned up into a smirk.

"Where's Blaise?" instead of answering, Draco asked one of his own.

"He's coming by to pick me up in half an hour," Harry replied offhandedly, suspicions rising at the jitters he can see from Malfoy. "Did you need something from him?" Harry took in the nervous stance of the blond and inwardly smiled.

"Just making conversation," Draco shrugged and once more looked past Harry's shoulder.

"Hmm," Harry hummed before finally answering Draco's unasked question. "'Mione's tending to one of her patients in the fourth floor," blue-grey eyes snapped up towards Harry's at the mention of the healer. "I'm sure she'll be back soon. You're welcome to wait in the healer's lounge for her," Harry offered before turning around and walking off presumably in the direction of the aforementioned room. Malfoy was left to follow the Saviour and he was led into a comfortable looking lounge. There was a couch in the center of the room facing a wireless, and there was a cooling cabinet as well as a pantry and a dining table. "The only other healer on shift today is Luna so you won't be disturbed here." Harry turned to leave but Malfoy called out to him.

"Thanks Harry."

"You're welcome Draco," Harry smiled at the blond. "I gotta go change, Blaise'll be here soon." With another nod, the brunette was gone leaving Draco to himself.

XoxoxoX

"Thank you, Healer Granger!" she could do nothing but smile at her patient's wife. Another day, another life saved. Hermione Granger snorted to herself as she walked out of the room. She went back to the mediwitch's station, made final notes on her patient's chart before handing it over the mediwitch on shift. She rolled her shoulders back and began walking towards the healer's lounge just in time to see Harry step out with a bright smile on his face.

"'Mione!"

"Hey Harry!"

"I'm off!" he announced. "Blaise is coming to pick me up in a few minutes." He reported. "But I'll see you Wednesday, right?"

"Of course, I'll be there." She couldn't help but return Harry's smile.

"That's great! I'll save another seat for you," and with a quick hug he was rushing off to the healer's locker room, no doubt to change for his fiancé. Hermione shook her head as she watched her best friend run off to meet his lover.

After the War, many things had changed for the Golden Trio. The Ministry was slowly and surely cleaned out. Amelia Bones was placed as interim Minister when former Minister Scrimgeour's dealings with the Dark were brought to light. The former head of DMLE had done such a good job that she was formally voted in as Minister just six months after the Battle at Hogwarts. Ron had gone into Auror training while she and Harry went into Healer training. Ron had had a knack for tracking and capturing the escaped Death Eaters leading him to rise through the ranks quite quickly and his strategic mind also gave him another advantage in the field. While Ron was out chasing the bad guys, she and Harry were at St. Mungo's treating all kinds of illnesses. Harry had then gone into paediatrics while she went into adult healing with a specialty on Dark curses.

"Are you alright, Hermione?" Luna's soft voice startled her from her runaway thoughts.

"Yes, I'm fine Luna," and there came another change. Hermione and Ron had figured out that the kiss that they had shared during the final battle had come just from the heat of the moment. They'd spoken about it; came to the same conclusion that they wouldn't be a good match in the long run and went back to being best mates. Ron had then blundered along before Luna finally asked him out and they'd been together ever since.

"That's good then." Luna gave Hermione a serene but knowing smile. "Why don't you go out and get something to eat? I can cover your shift for a few hours."

"Are you sure, Luna?" Hermione hesitated but at the same time she was very tempted. She had been on shift for the third day in a row and she itched to go out and see the actual sun.

"Of course," Luna nodded enthusiastically. "Don't forget to bring your coat though," Luna reminded her. "It's a bit nippy outside."

"Healer Weasley to ward 4. Healer Weasley to ward 4."

"Thank you, Luna." The blond nodded before walking off in the direction of the page she had received. Hermione shook her head, grateful at Ron's wife for the reprieve and still wondering how Luna and her redheaded best friend could be so compatible with each other. The couple had been together for six years, the last three of those as parents to a lovely baby girl Rose, born just a little over a year after they were married. She finally turned to enter the healer's lounge to grab a cup of coffee before she went to lunch and froze in surprise at the man standing before her.

Draco had only been waiting for about ten minutes and already, he was feeling a bit out of place. He felt as if he didn't belong and truthfully, he didn't even know what he was doing there. It had been a little over a week since he had spent the night at Granger's house, and he was eternally gratefully for the witch's care towards both him and his son. All Draco knew was he needed to do something to thank her, he just didn't know what. He also wanted a physical reminder of how good Granger, Hermione, had felt in his arms the following morning. Draco rose from his seat on the couch in frustration at his jumbled thoughts intent on leaving before anyone else saw him, only to come face to face with the very witch that had been on his mind.

"Draco?" she sounded both surprised and confused and he really couldn't blame her. It wasn't as if they had made plans with each other after he and his son had spent the night. "What are you doing here? Is Scorp alright?"

"Uh, yeah." Draco mentally cursed himself at his hesitation. "Scorpius is fine. He's recovering quite well." What followed was an uncomfortable silence that neither one knew how to break.

"Oh. Okay then," she nodded decisively as she finally stepped completely into the lounge and closed the door firmly behind her. "Then what did you need?"

"I wanted to invite you out to eat, as thanks for helping me with Scorpius," slowly but surely, Draco was getting his confidence back. Somehow, being in her presence was making him feel as if he could overcome anything.

"You don't have to do that." Hermione said, blushing lightly at the invitation. "I was happy to help."

"I would really like to," Draco insisted. "Especially since Harry told me that we interrupted your vacation time."

"But I-"

"Please?" her jaw dropped at the begging in his tone and she was hard-pressed not to laugh out loud.

"Are you begging, Malfoy?" she smirked haughtily, crossing her arms above her chest with a raised eyebrow.

"Don't get used to it, Granger," and just like that, the awkward tension that had been rising in the room was gone. Neither noticed the way they finally relaxed in each other's presence but then they shared a small smile.

XoxoxoX

The guests were already mingling with each other when Hermione arrived at Zabini Manor. She could see Ron speaking to Blaise in one corner of the room, little Rose was running around being chased by her Uncle George. Luna was sat on one of the couches keeping an eye on her daughter as she conversed with Angelina, George's wife. In another corner of the room Ginny and Theodore held champagne glasses as they spoke to Oliver Wood and Charlie Weasley.

"You look beautiful Hermione," the intense compliment caught her by surprise, and she was turning around, pointing her wand at the intruder before another word was uttered. In response, Draco stepped back, swinging the bassinet carrying his son behind him and raising the other hand up in a gesture of peace. "I apologize. I didn't mean to startle you."

"Draco!" she sighed in relief and just as quick as it had come, her wand was stowed away, and she was blushing in embarrassment. "I'm sorry, I-" she struggled with her words but was thankfully saved from saying anything as a childish giggle reached both their ears. They both froze in surprise at the sound and Draco slowly tugged the bassinet to his front. Scorpius was playing with the tail of his tux, the dark grey cloth following the babe as he was placed in between the two adults.

"Scorpius!" Draco breathed out in surprise over the bout of magic from his son.

"You are amazing, Scorp!" Hermione agreed and before Draco could say anything else, she had plucked his son from the bassinet and began making sparkles on the tips of her fingers to amuse the baby. "You're a smart little boy, aren't you?" said child giggled happily at the pretty colours dancing in front of his eyes. "Very handsome too, just like your daddy," and without further ado, seemingly not having noticed her own compliment towards the elder Malfoy, she was turning around and walking into the parlour with his son in tow. Draco was left standing in the receiving area carrying his son's empty bassinet and with his tux still dishevelled.

XoxoxoX

"Congratulations!" Draco said as he approached his best mate and his now-fiancé.

"Thanks mate," Blaise reached out a hand to shake Draco's before looking pointedly at the empty bassinet floating behind the Malfoy lord. "Where's my godson?"

"Hermione's got him," Draco turned to stand next to him and surveyed the room, finding the woman who had his son in the process. Beside him, Blaise's eyebrows shot up to his hairline at the way Draco addressed the only female in the Golden Trio.

"Why?"

"We ran into each other at the receiving hall," Draco gave his best mate a careless shrug even as he took a glass of champagne from one of the floating trays. Blaise just looked at his best mate with a disbelieving stare, silently wondering to himself just when exactly things had changed between Malfoy and Granger.

"Blaise?"

"Yes love?" the Italian's gaze went from his best mate to his fiancé who was walking towards them.

"I think it's time for the announcement."

"Alright," Blaise banished his own glass of champagne before reaching out to take Harry's hand into his. The Gryffindor raised his wand and shot up sparks to gather everyone's attention. Silence descended among their party and everyone turned to the newly engaged couple.

"Harry and I have something to announce." Blaise started, wrapping an arm around Harry's waist and pulling him close to his body as he did. Beside them, Draco took a few steps away from the couple to give them some space for their announcement.

"You mean something else aside from the fact that you're going to be married?" George asked from the other side of the room, leading Harry to roll his eyes at his brother and the rest of their audience to chuckle.

"In a few months, Harry and I will be welcoming…" And Blaise trailed off as Harry finally let go of his glamours. There were gasps of surprise at the sight of his rounded abdomen and then their guests were clamouring towards the engaged couple to congratulate them on their pregnancy. Curiously, Draco noted that Hermione didn't seem to be surprised at the revelation. Instead, the healer stayed sitting on the couch with Scorpius on her lap smiling softly at her friend. Draco stepped away from Blaise and Harry and walked towards the lone witch caring for his son.

"You knew," he said to her by way of greeting. Hermione just chuckled and gestured towards the seat next to her.

"So, did you," she said as he took the proffered seat.

"Someone had to make the potions for the Golden Boy." Draco shrugged in response.

"And someone else had to confirm the diagnosis for Blaise." Hermione smiled at the blond. Once again, their attention was taken by the small boy giggling happily as he made sparks fly from his own fingers towards Hermione's cheek. Draco gasped as the witch's cheek seemed to absorb his son's magic, but she only brushed it off.

"You're such a smart boy, aren't you?" Hermione gushed as she pulled the boy close and nuzzled his soft cheeks. Beside her, Draco could only gape in amazement at the apparent compatibility between the witch and his son. On the other side of the room, Harry smiled happily at his friend. It was high time she found someone for herself.

XoxoxoX

"You've got visitors," Hermione's secretary said as the young woman opened the door to her office and let her guests come through.

"I'm not expecting anyone," she looked up confused only for her lips to break out into a smile at the sight of her two favourite blond men. She shook her head at the surprising way her thoughts went but rose to welcome them anyway.

"Scorp!" she immediately scooped him up from the bassinet and cuddled the baby close. "How are you, darling?" she nuzzled his cheeks then turned to his father and gave Draco an absent-minded kiss on his cheek. "Hullo Draco," she then led the blond to the couch in her office, completely missing the astounded expression on Draco's face as she did. "What brings you here?"

"Scorpius missed you," Draco shrugged as he took a seat next to her. Hermione froze in shock at his words.

"Scorp missed me?" she looked from father to son and back again a few times before finally settling on the elder blond. "How do you know that?"

"He's been irritable since Harry and Blaise's engagement party," Draco said honestly. "And he wouldn't calm down unless I do that thing you did for him that night."

"What?" she looked down at the baby in confusion. As soon as her chocolate met with Scorpius' baby blue eyes, magic was dancing on his fingertips and flying up to her cheeks.

"And he keeps doing that," Draco said with a fond smile at his son. "I actually don't know what it means but I haven't been able to reach Harry to get Scorpius checked out, so I thought to bring him to you."

"Oh." She replied. Even Hermione wasn't quite sure what was going on between her and Scorpius, but she couldn't wait to do some research on it anyway. "You won't be able to reach Harry until he and Blaise come back from their honeymoon."

"Honeymoon?" Draco gaped at Hermione in surprise.

"Um," Hermione clammed up finally realizing she had said something she shouldn't have. "I wasn't meant to say anything."

"Where are they?" Draco asked. From what Hermione said, it sounded as if the pair had gotten married already. "Weren't we just at their engagement party?"

"Harry doesn't want a big wedding," Hermione caved under Draco's intent gaze. "But he does know that he can't avoid it." She turned her attention towards the little boy cradled in her arms. "So, he convinced Blaise to elope in a small ceremony in Italy after their engagement party. They'll have the huge wedding and reception after the baby is born."

"Don't they need witnesses for that?"

"Not… exactly," she continued to hesitate, knowing that Harry really didn't want anyone else knowing about it. The only reason she was even let it on the secret was because she helped Harry research the whole thing. Harry had been worried about the effect it would have on their baby.

"Hermione…"

"Look Draco," she met his gaze once more. "You can't tell anyone."

"Do you want me to make an oath?" he offered. On one hand, he was very curious about his best mate's apparent secret and on the other, he just wanted to prolong his time with Hermione.

"Yes please," though he wasn't really expecting her to agree, he readily made the oath on his magic to not divulge anything that Hermione was about to tell him. Once the magic had settled, she told him exactly what their best mates were doing. "Harry and Blaise are going to do a traditional handfasting ceremony accompanied by a soul bond." Loathe as he was to admit it, Draco's jaw dropped at that information. He hadn't expected Harry blood Potter to be his best mate's soulmate and yet he knew that Hermione would never lie especially about this kind of information.

"Gaping is unbecoming of a Malfoy," Hermione giggled at the flabbergasted expression on his face. She used her fingers to close his gaping jaw, pulling back sharply at the tingling feeling on her fingers. On her lap, Scorpius giggled happily once more and clapped his hands to get both their attention. The tingling forgotten, the pair turned to the happy little boy on their lap, completely overlooking the small connection their magics made between them.

"Harry?" Hermione called out as he stepped into the foyer of the Zabini-Potter household. She had been gone for two weeks, being called to help at another hospital when they had an outbreak of a mysterious disease, and she had promised to go see her pregnant friend immediately when she got back. "Harry?" she called out again when she got no reply.

"Mistress Granger!" her attention was caught by the Zabini's head elf. "You is here!"

"Where's Harry, Mystique?" she questioned the house elf who grabbed her hand and apparated her out of the foyer and into Harry and Blaise's bedroom. Hermione could only gape at the disarray in front of her. Harry was carrying a baby, whom she belatedly recognized as Scorpius, walking around the room and rocking the child who refused to be soothed by the motion. Harry's eyes were puffy, and he seemed to have been trying to get the baby to sleep for a while.

"Master Harry be trying to get Young Master Scorpius to sleep," Mystique explained to the witch. "Young Master Scorpius be crying since Master Malfoy left."

"When did Draco leave Scorpius here?"

"Master Malfoy and Master Blaise be leaving at lunch." She silently cast a tempus charm and cursed when it showed her that it was well past dinner time.

"Has Harry eaten?"

"No Mistress Granger, Master Harry be being busy with Young Master Scorpius."

"Prepare some dinner Mystique," she ordered. "I'll take care of them."

"Yes, Mistress Granger." Without another word, the elf popped out of the room.

"Harry?" she stepped into the room and caught her frazzled friend's attention.

"'Mione!" the tears fell once more at the sight of his best friend. "I don't know what to do! Scorp hasn't stopped crying since Draco left and I can't contact either him or Blaise! They're brewing a potion in the basement and they seem to have locked themselves in. I can't… I don't… 'Mione!" said woman couldn't help the fond smile on her lips as she stared at her best friend. If he hadn't been pregnant and crying, she would've laughed at the state he was in.

"It's alright Harry," she reached out and took her friend into her arms for a tight hug. "Why don't you go and take a nap?" she suggested as he plucked the baby into her arms. "I'll take care of Scorp," as soon as the baby was in her arms, Scorpius was quiet and staring up at her with curious blue eyes.

"How did you do that?" Harry asked in amazement as Scorpius gurgled happily at Hermione.

"Never mind that Harry," she led her friend towards the bed while keeping a firm arm around the baby. "Get some rest. I have Mystique preparing dinner. I'll wake you up when it's ready." Despite her resolve to have Harry taking a nap, she couldn't stop herself from yawning as she watched Harry get settled on the huge bed.

"Why don't you join me 'Mione?" Harry suggested as he finally took in his best friend's appearance. "You look knackered."

"I~" she broke off in another yawn and shook her head as Harry patted the space beside him. In her arms, she could see that Scorpius had already fallen asleep as well. Harry settled himself on a mound of pillows, careful not to crush his rounded belly as he did. "Alright fine," she finally acquiesced seeing as she had not been able to sleep properly for a fortnight. "Scorp and I will join you. I'm sure Mystique will wake us when it's time to get up anyway."

XoxoxoX

"What happened?" Blaise asked as he looked into the master bedroom to find his husband sleeping on the bed with Granger. Lying on Granger's chest was his godson and all three were in deep slumber. "And when did Hermione get here?" he asked no one in particular. Dark onyx eyes surveyed the mess that was their bedroom and he couldn't help but wonder the event that had led to his husband falling into bed with his best friend. Of course, he knew that there could never be something more than sibling love between Harry and Hermione, but he still couldn't quite wrap his mind around the scene in front of him.

"Mystique?" Draco called out.

"What happened here Mystique?" Blaise asked the elf as soon as she had popped into the room.

"Young Master Scorpius be crying since you left," the elf tugged at her own ears. "Master Harry be trying to soothe him but Young Master Scorpius not being liking it. Mistress Granger be coming and be getting Young Master Scorpius to sleep."

"Why didn't you tell me?" Draco demanded, aghast that his son had caused such a scene but not understanding why. Harry had been one of the only people that Scorpius had gotten along with, he hadn't expected Harry to have any difficulties with his son.

"Master Harry be forbidding me to tell you." Mystique flinched away from the two angered lords. "Master Harry be saying Master Blaise and Master Draco be being busy."

"You can leave Mystique," Blaise said before Draco could say anything else. "We'll have our supper here." He ordered, predicting correctly that the trio on the bed hadn't had anything to eat since they had gotten to sleep. Blaise walked into the room, motioning for Draco to do the same and the pair approached the sleeping occupants on the bed.

"Merlin's balls!" Draco wasn't quite sure where the exclamation came from but there was no other expression, he could say to describe what was happening to his son and Hermione.

"What the bloody hell?" Blaise exclaimed from beside him and the two young lords gaped at the magical phenomena happening right before their eyes. There were tendrils of magic rising and covering both Hermione and Scorpius. Various colours were flickering in and around the pair, seemingly avoiding Harry's body even though there was almost no space between the three.

"What's happening?" Draco whispered.

"I have no idea."

"I'll send Luna a patronus." Draco said and took out his wand to do just as he said. As he gathered his magic, it flew towards the slumbering pair leading both him and Blaise to once again gape. The jolt of magic seemed to have waken the occupants of the bed and the magic was suddenly gone.

"Draco, you're back!" Hermione greeted happily just as Blaise ran to the other side of the bed where Harry was positioned.

"Sorry, Blaise and I got caught up with the experiment downstairs." Draco said as he approached the bed much more slowly than his best mate did. "How was your nap?" he asked as he knelt in front of Hermione who still had Scorpius on her chest.

"I feel rested." Hermione smiled at the blond even as she tightened her hold on the sleeping infant.

"That's good." Draco ran a hand across Scorpius' back, leaving his hand on top of Hermione's as he did. "Are you ready to get up?" he asked. "Mystique's brought dinner."

"Alright," she said with another yawn. "Could you get Scorp off? I don't want him to fall."

"Of course," he did as he said and took his son into his arms, jostling the boy just enough to get him awake. He held a hand out to assist Hermione out of bed before looking back at his best mate who already had his own husband standing beside him. Blaise caught his gaze and with a nod, a silent agreement was made. They'd figure it out later. Right now, they needed to feed their partners. Draco didn't even realize the direction his thoughts were going. If he did, he probably would've been more prepared for what was going to happen next.

"What's wrong with Scorp?" Hermione asked as soon as she had stepped into the examination room. Harry had paged her stating the need for an emergency consult and she had rushed from her office right away. It was lucky that she didn't have any active cases at that moment.

"I don't know!" Draco gritted his teeth in frustration as his son nearly tumbled out of his arms in an attempt to get to Hermione. "Scorpius!" he scolded the infant who immediately stopped reaching out to the other healer. Tears welled up in the baby blue eyes and Hermione was quick to comfort the baby.

"You're alright sweetie, 'Mione's here." She held her arms out for the child and Draco gratefully gave him over. In moments, Scorpius' tears were gone, and he was nuzzling into her chest. Hermione couldn't stop the blush that rose to her cheeks when one of his small hands went into her shirt to grasp at her breast.

"Scorpius!" the aghast tone and bright blush on Draco's face had Harry nearly falling over himself in laughter.

"Just what is so funny Potter?" said blond growled at the green-eyed healer. "There's nothing amusing about my son groping Hermione."

"Jealous Draco?" this time both Hermione and Draco blushed at the implications of Harry's words.

"Yes! I mean no! I mean…" he stuttered over his words and refused to look at Hermione who was watching curiously as Draco dug himself deeper into a hole. "Shut up scar head!"

"Is that the best you can do ferret-face?" Harry taunted the blond who was seconds away from drawing his wand.

"Alright, that's enough!" Hermione intervened before anyone could say anything else. "What is going on?" she steadied her hold on Scorpius and glared at her still-laughing best friend. "Harry James Potter!"

"It's Zabini-Potter actually," Harry sniffed haughtily making Draco chuckle.

"Harry," the seriousness on Draco's tone had Harry sobering. "You do know what's happening right?" Harry regarded him with shining jade eyes before settling.

"Of course," he nodded towards Hermione who was still cuddling the infant. "Why don't you take a seat 'Mione?" he suggested. "This is gonna take a while."
