A/N: Hey everyone, this is my first Lightspeed Rescue fanfic. So...to the reviewer who on several occasions asked me to do a Lightspeed Rescue, you've gotten your wish and now I'm writing Lightspeed Rescue. Hope that everyone likes it and if I don't update right away, its because I'm working on my other fanfics. I do have others that are in progress that need to be finished.

So, a couple of you suggested what her Zord should be. Don't get mad but if her zord was construction related, that would have meant that Jade would have to be working in construction when Dana goes and recruits the others. Jade is the daughter of Miss Fairweather and I was kind of thinking of something more science related that could be her recuse vehicle. What can I say, Jade likes science. At a park, a woman was jogging alongside her dog. "You're doing great, Dorsie." said the dog owner. She then stops for a moment to tie her shoe when Dorsie walks away and goes into the street. The owner looks up after she finished tying her shoe to see that her dog wasn't next to her and looks out into the street.

"Dorsie!" shouted the owner and runs after her. "Dorsie, no! Come back here!"

Dorsie had reached the middle of the street and planted her furry butt down when her owner went after her, only to be stopped by a passerby. "Dorsie! Dorsie!" said the owner, calling for her dog. "Dorsie! Dorsie!"

Suddenly the man who was driving a red car sees the dog sitting in the street and makes an effort to stop his car. Suddenly Kelsey sees what was going on and jumps over a car, blading towards the dog. The driver tries to stop his car and spins to the side just as Kelsey picks up the dog. "I got her!" shouted Kelsey.

"Look out." said Dorsie's owner as a truck driver honks his horn, causing Kelsey to turn around and go underneath the truck bed. "Dorsie. Oh, thank you so much."

"No worries." said Kelsey.

"I'm Nancy. This is Dorsie." said Nancy

"Kelsey. Nice to meet you both." said Kelsey.

"You must be crazy, but I'm very glad that you are." Nancy said.

"Crazy is my middle name." Kelsey replied, causing Nancy to laugh a bit. "Well, I got to go. Nice to meet you, Nancy. See you later, Dorsie."

"Bye."

"I've grown tired of these pesky power rangers." said Diabolico. "Its time to reclaim Mariner Bay. Then we can finally rebuild our place."

"Diabolico, let me go and take care of them." said Loki. "I can handle it."

"I wouldn't if I were you." said Vypra. "We need a monster the rangers can't get to."

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"She's right." said Diabolico. "Vypra, you just given me an incredible idea. Jinxer, time to create."

"What did you have in mind?" asked Jinxer.

"Something that will blow everyone away." Diabolico tells him.

"My pleasure." replied Jinxer, taking the card from him. "Tornado winds blow from the east, transform this card to a monstrous beast."

"Yes."

"Bring us a demon that will make the queen proud…"

"Mama." said Impus.

"Now!" shouted Jinxer and a demon appears in front of them.

"You're absolutely perfect." said Diabolico.

"Whirlin at your service." said the demon, introducing himself.

"We bring you this special report from nine five news." said a man on tv.

"In the news today, Mariner Bay's Space Development Program is launching its new shuttle." said the female reporter. Dana was reading one of her text books, eating pretzels while Jade does her homework as both of them listened to the news.

"As final preparations are underway, a spokesman for the space program has announced that this shuttle flight will launch a low-orbit flight." said the reporter as Kelsey walked in and takes the pretzel out of Dana's hand.

"This mission will be flown by first time pilot, Nancy Cooper." said the reporter. "Ms. Cooper is a graduate of Mariner Bay's own flight academy…"

"Hey, that girl." said Kelsey as she looks up at the tv.

"And graduated first in her class." said the reporter.

"That's Nancy."

"Who?" asked Jade and Dana.

"The girl I told you about with the puppy." Kelsey tells them.

"What kind of puppy?" asked Jade.

"I understand they are ready for liftoff and are going to start the countdown." said the reporter as the boys walked in.

"Hey, you guys ready to go?" asked Joel.

"Wait a sec. Kelsey's friend's on TV." said Dana.

"7….6…" said a man counting down.

"Checking 1-2." said Nancy.

"5…4…3…2…1…and liftoff." said the man and the rocket takes off.

"This mission will spend only a quick four hours in space, where it will run several ship maneuvers and vacuum tests, which have been strategically mapped out, as well as launching the satellite." said the reporter. "What a spectacular sight, ladies and gentlemen. The first stage has been separated…"

Suddenly Joel's morpher beeps. "Go." said Joel.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we've got trouble." said Captain Mitchell.

"Can it wait sir? We're watching the…"

"No."

"I mean, we'll be right there." said Joel and all six of them take off.

In space, the shuttle was orbiting earth. "Congratulations, you two." said a man back on earth. "You may now engage the autopilot."

Back on earth, people were being blown about.

"Whoa! This is crazy. Everyone get inside." said Carter. "Come on. There's shelter over this way."

"Lets go." said Dana.

"If the city wasn't in danger, this would be great kite flying weather." said Jade.

"Don't tell me you actually brought a kite?" asked Joel.

"No, it would be blown out of my hands at the first chance it gets into the air." she tells him.

"We can get you to safety over there." said Chad.

"Its going to be okay." said Dana.

"This way. Come on." Chad said. "Hurry."

A man was hanging onto a chain linked fence when he suddenly let's go, screaming. "Huh? Oh, no." said Kelsey as she then jumps up and catches him. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah. Thank you very much." he tells her.

"No problem." said Kelsey as he takes off. The big tornado comes to a halt and the rangers walked up.

"What's that?" asked Carter as they see something in the sky.

"I am Diabolico." said Diabolico as he introduced himself to the rangers.

"What do you want from us?" Carter asked him.

"I have come to destroy your precious city and restore Queen Bansheera's magnificent palace." Diabolico said and vanishes.

"Wait." shouted Carter and suddenly the tornado was back, destroying everything in its path. "Come on, guys! We've got to stop him!"

As the shuttle continued its orbit in space, the rangers went after the demon that was causing havoc in the city. "Scanner on-line." said Carter and his scanner activated. "He's in the tornado. Rescue Blaster. Got him."

"Don't you realize you cant stop me?" asked Whirlin.

"Save your breath. My friends and I will stop you." said Carter. "That's a promise."

"So its your friends that you want, isn't it?" taunted Whirlin. "Well, meet some of mine."

"He's got a lot of friends." said Chad.

"Creepy ones at that." added Jade.

"But we've got each other." said Carter.

"Batlings, destroy them!" shouted Whirlin and the Batlings followed his orders, attacking the rangers.

"Rescue Blasters…Baton Mode." said Carter, as he and the others transformed their blasters into batons. The shuttle started entering earth's atmosphere.

"Booster engines are clear." said Nancy. Back on the ground, Carter was fighting Whirlin by himself.

"You cant defeat me. I'm invincible." said Whirlin.

"We'll see about that." said Carter as he goes for a strike against Whirlin. Whirlin then sends an attack towards Carter, causing him to be knocked back.

"Oh, no! Carter's down!" shouted Chad.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm all right." said Carter.

"Are you sure?"

"I'm fine. It's okay." said Carter. Whirlin laughs as he approaches the rangers and blasting them to the ground.

"Rescue Blasters!"

All six rangers shoot at Whirlin. "I'll be back." he tells them and disappears.

"Looks like a weather condition up ahead." said Nancy as she sees a tornado in front of her. "Tornado. Hold on."

The shuttle enters the tornado and Nancy tries to keep it in the air. "Boost up engine two." she tells her co-pilot. "Check our altitude."

"We're at 48,000 and dropping." said the co-pilot.

"Rescue bird." said Carter and it came online. "Separate."

"Unilaser formation…Now! Let's do it."

Carter then aims the Unilaser at Whirlin. "Ready…Aim…and fire!"

A laser was sent and Whirlin was blasted. "Yeah! Looks like the weather's clearing up." said Carter.

"Rangers?" asked Captain Mitchell.

"Go ahead sir." said Kelsey.

"The space shuttle is in trouble." he said.

"I'm losing altitude." said Nancy.

"The tornado hit the shuttle pretty hard. Lots of damage." said the captain. "We don't think she's going to be able to land on her own."

"Nancy's in there." gasped Kelsey.

"Don't worry, Kelsey." said Joel. "Captain Mitchell, I can help out with Aero Rescue 3."

"You can't do it alone, Joel." said Captain Mitchell. "You won't be able to land safely. You'll both crash."

"We got to do something." said Joel.

"Wait a minute. I've got an idea on what to do." said Kelsey.

"Good, because I don't like the ones that I've got." said Jade.

"Lets hear it." said Carter.

"I'd tell you, but you'd think I was crazy." she tells the others. "Rescue Zords, mobilize."

All six rescue zords came online and were lifted to the surface. "Lets hit it!" shouted Joel as the rescue rails came to a stop.

"You call the shots, Kelsey." said Carter.

"Ready." said Chad.

"Joel, Jade, locate the shuttle." said Kelsey.

"On it!" said Jade.

"You got it, Kelsey." said Joel as both zords take off into the air.

"Follow me." said Kelsey.

"You got it." said Dana, not too far behind as the shuttle was falling very fast through the air.

"Hello, Space Shuttle." said Joel. "This is Aero rescue 3 and Air striker rescue 6 at your service, coming up at 2:00 and 10:00."

Nancy looks to her right to see Joel before looking to her left to see Jade. "Hello, you must forgive him." said Jade. "I think being in the air is giving him a big ego."

"Great. But most of my controls are jammed, including my landing gear." said Nancy.

"Don't worry." said Joel. "Kelsey, we're in position."

"Alright. Joel, attach your cable magnets onto the shuttle." said Kelsey.

"Cable magnets? For what?" asked Nancy.

"We're going to help you land." Kelsey explained. "Jade, keep an eye on what he does."

"Roger that." said Joel and Jade.

"Try and keep her steady, Nancy. I'm locking on." said Joel.

"Careful. I don't have much control." she said.

"I got it." said Jade as she goes under the shuttle and Joel releases the cable magnets.

"Almost." said Joel. "All right, we got you."

Joel pulls up the shuttle as Jade follows underneath. "Carter, my readings are showing the shuttle is leveling off." said Chad.

"That's fantastic, but it can't land at that speed." said Carter.

"Dana, clear the freeway." said Kelsey. "Its about to become a landing strip."

"I'm on it." said Dana as she goes onto the freeway. "Attention, this is an emergency. You must clear the freeway. Everyone drive into the Med Rescue Vehicle. Please proceed quickly and carefully. Close hatch" Soon enough, everyone on the freeway was in the Med Rescue Vehicle.

"Car load complete. Freeway's all yours, Kelsey." said Dana.

"Great." replied Kelsey. "Joel, put the shuttle on my roof."

"What?" asked Joel and Jade.

"On top of your zord?" asked Joel.

"While you're moving? You must be crazy!" said Nancy.

"Crazy's my middle name." said Kelsey.

"Your middle name?" questioned Nancy. "Kelsey? Hey, Kelsey, is that you?"

"The one and only." she replied.

"If you think this will work, I think so too. Lets go." said Nancy.

"That's the spirit." said Kelsey.

"Beginning descent." said Joel.

"Roger that." said Jade.

"All set, Joel. Bring her down." said Kelsey.

"I've got a visual." said Nancy as she sees Kelsey's zord. "Easy. Smooth."

"I am all over it." said Joel. "This reminds me of the air show days. Hold on, 'cause here comes the sky cowboy."

"Oh, boy." said Jade as Joel lets got of the shuttle.

"All right! It's almost over!" said Kelsey. Nancy aligns the shuttle with Kelsey's zord and begins her descend.

"Steady."

"You got it."

Nancy finally lands on top of Kelsey's zord. "Got ya! Carter, how am I doing?" asked Kelsey.

"Ease it down. You're running out of freeway." said Carter.

"You can do it, Kelsey." said Chad.

"You gotta stop." said Carter as her zord kept going.

"I'm trying!" said Kelsey as the shuttle starts to slide off a bit. "Here we go. Full reverse."

Her tires screeched as she pulls back. Both the shuttle and Zord jerk forward as they came to a stop. "Huh? We did it." said Nancy, once she looked up. "We did it! Yes! Kelsey, we did it!"

"Yeah! Now, that was crazy even for me." she said and Carter pulls up to get the shuttle off her zord. "Thanks a lot, Carter."

"You did the hard work." said Carter as he laid down the shuttle.

"I sure didn't do it alone." said Kelsey. "Nothing like doing the impossible."

"Thank you, all of you." said Nancy. "Thank you."

"The things I have to do." said Jinxer as he held a grow card. "Whirlin, your task isn't finished yet. Demon of wind, demon of bats, pull yourself together and defeat those brats. Rise, Whirlin, rise and destroy!"

Bats came together and became gigantic Whirlin. "Ha ha ha." said Whirlin.

"Oh, no." said Carter.

"Not again." said Jade as Whirlin went on a rampage.

"Carter, time to step it up a level." said Chad.

"Megazord Mode…lightspeed."

"Lightspeed!" shouted the others.

"Megazord…initiate." said Carter and formed the megazord. "Alright, all systems go."

"Wind Spin!" shouted Whirlin and started spinning.

"Hang tight."

"Hold on."

Soon as he stops, Whirlin noticed that they were still standing there. "Now its our turn." said Carter. "Lightspeed Ladder Arms…Power Thrust."

The Megazord starts punching Whirlin. "Lets give this guy a lift." said Carter and the megazord lifts Whirlin off the ground, throwing him over the city.

"That's the last of that windbag." said Joel.

"We did it." said Carter.

"Not so fast, guys. Take a look." said Chad.

Whirlin gets back up and is ready for another round. "Lightspeed Megazord Saber…ignite!" shouted Carter and the saber appears. "Full power!"

A ring of fire was created and the megazord slashes through, cutting Whirlin, finally destroying him. "Nothing's impossible for you guys." said Nancy as she watched the whole thing.

On the ground, Nancy was waving as Kelsey and the others ran up to her. "Kelsey!" she said.

"Nancy!" said Kelsey, hugging her.

"I should have known you'd be a power ranger." said Nancy. "What's it like to be a part of Lightspeed Rescue?"

"I love it. But its funny though." said Kelsey. "I actually always dreamed of flying the space shuttle."

"Yeah?" asked Nancy. "Well, after seeing the rescues you have to do, I think I'll keep my job, and you should keep yours."

"I'll second that." said Joel as they all laughed.

"They may have won this battle, but we shall win the war." said Diabolico. "Mariner Bay will be destroyed, and our palace will rise again."
