Hey y'all! Here is the next chapter.

Disclaimer: I don't own the movie. All I own are Jada Rose and Ellie.

Ellie stood is shock about what she just revealed when she heard a scoff from in front of her. Looking forward she saw it was Queen Leah who was shaking her head, "Yeah right. I highly doubt that. You probably asked for it and then cried rape when your boytoy over there found out." A hush had already descended on the crowd when Ellie had been hit, but now it was a straight silence. The silence that had descended on the crowd was thick with tension that was just waiting for a release.

It was finally broken by a strained, "You should be ashamed of yourself." The elder woman turned thinking she had an ally in her quest to keep the villains on the isle. She found herself staring at a young man who was obviously from the Isle. Before she could demand to know who, he thought he was the young man continued, "I have known Ellie since we were little. She has been dating Jay since they were thirteen. She would never cheat on him and she definitely would never cry rape. You are throwing your biased assumptions on her and that is wrong. We were raised to be good, which is the only reason that you are still standing. That and we don't fight the elderly. Look around the only one on your side is you."

Leah looked at the people standing around her and found that the annoying young brat from the Isle was correct. Everyone was looking at her like she was in the wrong. They should be thanking her for helping show that those vile Isle cretins should not be in Auradon and they were looking at her like she was the villain! It was not right! She looked towards the King and decided to have a slight change in tactic, "You see?! Listen to the disrespect that he is showing me! I am a royal and should be shown upmost respect!" The King simply straightened out his jacket and looked at the woman, "I don't know about you but I was taught two things when it came to respect. I was taught that respect was earned and not freely given and that respect was also a two-way street, that to get respect you also had to give it. I forgot that for a time but was given a strong reminder by Belle. It seems like these children were taught the same thing. You do not deserve their respect, because you have not tried to earn it nor have you given them an ounce in return. My son was right about these kids. They belong here in Auradon. They have shown more respect in the last few hours that they have been here, than you have in the past twenty plus years."

The former beast turned to the young woman that was using his wife and son's girlfriend as support and softly addressed her, "If you wish you can press charges against her for assault and slander. You don't have to answer now, but I believe the festivities are done for the day for my family and I. You can join us at the castle if you wish." He then turned towards Fairy Godmother, "Fairy Godmother, I hope you don't mind, but Belle and I were thinking of having Ben and the other Isle kids spending the night at the castle tonight. Of course, any of Ben's usual partners in crime would be welcome as well." The older woman simply nodded.

He turned and gestured for the trio of women in front of him to leave ahead of him. Audrey was quick to join the trio as did their other friends. Everyone ignored the spluttering from the woman as they walked towards the front of the school. Audrey still had Jada in her arms and when they were farther away from her grandmother and Ellie looked a bit more stable, she handed the infant to her mother. She made to apologize for her grandmother's actions but was stopped by Gil, "You don't have to apologize Audrey. We know that you don't agree with your grandmother." Audrey simply nodded, still feeling guilty for her grandmother's words.

Ben was curious about what happened and couldn't help but ask as they waited for the buses to be brought around to take everyone to the castle, "What happened?" Audrey decided to save everyone else the trouble of answering, "I was talking with Ellie about Jada Rose and some different stuff when my grandmother came storming up. She started trying to butt Ellie out of the conversation. I happened to have been holding Jada because Ellie was looking for something in the baby bag. She tried to take Jada out of my hands because she didn't want me to hold a 'bastard child'. She scared Jada, so she started crying. I was trying to calm her down when Ellie told her to back off. Then she just right out slapped Ellie and yelled at her. Then you guys showed up." Ben simply nodded he was too upset to answer.

At that moment the two buses pulled up along with a limo behind it for the adults of the group. Jay sat next to Ellie and wrapped an arm around her and held her to him. That incident had unnerved him, he thought that she would attack Ellie for a second until Ben and his dad stood between them. He had been talking with Gil, Phillip, and Diaval when the slap sounded. He was supposed to take care of her and he failed. He let her get hurt when he was supposed to be protecting her. He let her down. He pressed a kiss to the side of her hair and whispered to her, "I'm sorry I wasn't there to protect you."

Ellie looked up at him in confusion, "What do you mean?" Jay looked at her, "I should have protected you from Leah." Ellie shook her head and held up a finger to him. Turning she passed Jada to Gil who was on the next seat with Audrey before turning back to him, "Jay it wasn't your fault. You couldn't have known what she was going to do. You were talking with Gil and the other two. This is Auradon we are supposed to be safe here. You tried to come over but Diaval kept you back, because he didn't want you to get into trouble by attacking her. Audrey protected Jada and the others wouldn't have let her touch me. I was fine and you needed those few minutes to reign in your temper. You didn't want to do something or say something that could have kept other kids from coming over. You know I am right." Jay just nodded, knowing that Ellie was right with everything she was saying. Ellie reached back over and grabbed Jada from Gil before snuggling into Jay. They spent the rest of the ride to the castle just simply sitting there thinking and loving being able to be together.

Hey y'all, I hope you like it! Don't forget to review and tell me what you think please. I do plan on continuing the story past Family Day.
