Moving quickly Harry and Tonks moved up to the atrium and then disguised themselves into a random witch and wizard and quickly walked out the atrium before their past selves had even entered, once outside they hid down a side street where they had arranged to meet Ron and Hermione.

Together they apperated back to Shell Cottage just a few moments after they had left, as far as the others were concerned the four of them had only stepped outside for a few minutes. First they fixed their injuries and had a large breakfast before retreating to Harry's room and locking the door.

After applying as many secrecy charms as they knew Hermione opened her mouth to say something but whatever she had said was lost on Harry, he looked around wildly as everything seemed to slow and the constant sounds of the waves faded away.

His vision then started flickering, he would see flashes of something before his eyes snapped back to Shell Cottage. The flickering got faster and faster until it was as if the locations had swapped and now it was Shell Cottage that flickered into view and interrupted his view of this new location, idly he noticed it was the Gringotts vault he had just robbed.

He could feel the raw hatred Voldemort was giving off, stronger than ever before. Slowly sound started returning although it confused him, he could hear the crackle of a fire and distant shouts of goblins. Behind Voldemort Harry could just make out the dead bodies of the dragon and a score of goblins, Bellatrix was standing weakly beside her master and was in a bad shape. A thin river of blood steadily streamed down her arm and dripped off her hand while her other hand clutched her ribs.

Voldemort must've apperated straight to the vault from their fight, Harry realised. Voldemort then apperated from the vault to the gates of Hogwarts and towards where Dumbledore had been buried, as he walked he tried to think of his next plan of attack. Somewhere the connection between Harry and Voldemort had decayed and Harry only heard some of Voldemort's thoughts 'The boy… Horcruxes… Too weak to secure Hogwarts… Must move quickly…'

With a great force of will Harry pulled himself from Voldemort's mind and back to Shell Cottage, he had a sense of vertigo as both sight and sound returned abruptly sending Harry to the floor.

"He's at Hogwarts! His last horcruxes is there and he's going to gather his army, we have to move quickly to get everyone out before he can do it!"

"I can gather what's left of the Order if you want, possibly a few good aurors too." Tonks offered uncertainty, Harry nodded gratefully and turned to Ron

"We will need to search Hogwarts quickly, when we get there you and Hermione should go to the elves and ask them while I will check the chamber of secrets."

"But how are we going to get in? It won't be as easy to break in as it was when we went there… None of us are animagi either so we can't get in like Sirius did and your cloak won't cover all of us." Ron asked

"Why not ask Aberforth? If anyone knows how to break in he would, although I wouldn't give the Weasley Twins a miss either." Tonks said

"Aberforth?" Hermione questioned

"Aberforth Dumbledore… Albus Dumbledore's brother" Tonks replied slowly "Did nobody ever tell you Dumbledore had a brother?"

"Oh yeah… Elphias Doge mentioned it at the wedding." Harry said grumpily "But how will he help?"

"From what I've heard when Aberforth was at Hogwarts he played more pranks than the Marauders and Weasley twins put together." Tonks said

"But how does that help us?" Ron asked

"Well between the twins, Remus and Aberforth they must know a way in that Snape hasn't blocked yet. But regardless of how we are going to get in, me and Harry will need to rest for a bit. While it may only have been a few minutes here, we've been up for almost seven hours. It will take him some time to gather his army, Ron and Hermione can use that time to raise the Order and anyone else that is loyal."

Harry tried to argue that he wasn't tired only to be cut off by his own yawn, grudgingly he crawled up to Griphook's old room and after a few cleaning charms collapsed on the bed.

When he awoke, orange light was streaming through the window and a quick glance at his watch revealed the time was 7:36pm, meaning he had slept for almost twelve hours.

Rushing downstairs he came to a stop at the sight of Hermione, Ron and Tonks huddled around the Marauders Map, clearly planning the upcoming attack. What surprised Harry were the three additional people; Bill, Fred and George.

Coughing loudly drew their attention to him and Ron started rubbing the back of his neck guiltily. "We can use Bill's help Harry, he's broken into hundreds of tombs already, some much better protected than Hogwarts… It's fine, I haven't told him why we are breaking in."

"Eh, fine… So what's the plan?" Harry said calmly, the sleep had cured him of some of his grumpiness and urgency and the knowledge they now had two of the four remaining Horcruxes made him feel like they were achieving something finally.

Fred turned to Harry and started to explain their plan, pointing at the map as he talked "We can get you in here, this is the passage behind the mirror we told you about. The passage is still collapsed but there was enough room for us to store some of our more… experimental products."

"Bill reckons he can shift the rubble and assuming Snape even knows of it, he thinks it's permanently caved in so he had no reason to block it further. Once we get in we split off, me, Fred and Bill to Snape's office to cause a distraction and you lot to get… whatever it is" George continued

Finally Bill carried on after his brothers "Once you finish your task you go back to the passageway and set off a bunch of their fireworks, that's our signal to meet up with you. If we can't… well go on without us and finish it once and for all."

Seeing everyone was looking at him for confirmation Harry just shrugged and said "Sounds good… so when are we leaving?"

"When are we leaving, don't tell me you expected me to wait behind like some common housewife." Harry turned and was shocked to see Fleur standing in the doorway, glaring at Bill fiercely, for a moment Harry was strongly reminded of Mrs Weasley when Ron and the twins had saved him from the Dursley's with a flying car.

"Of… of course not, but surely it would be safer to -" Bill tried to say

"Safer! Bill ve are at war, do not insult my intelligence or my skills."

Harry noticed the other occupants of the room had started to sidle out, not understanding why he was going to step forward to intervene when Tonks grabbed his arm and pulled him with her. "Just let them get it out of their systems Harry, they'll meet us outside in a bit."

Shaking his head in confusion Harry walked over to the twins who were pulling various objects from their pockets and were putting them on the dining room table. He recognised most of the products such as the extendable ears, shield hat and cloaks, Peruvian Instant Darkness Powder and decoy detonators. In the center was a huge crate of miniature fireworks.

But there were also several products he didn't recognise, seeing his confusion George started to explain the products while Fred kept adding to the pile. "You know of the shield cloaks of course, well these cloaks are lined with dragon hide and what Muggles call Kevlar. Bloody useful stuff that can hold enchantments really well and even provides a fair deal of protection by itself. We had planned on selling them privately to the Auror's but then when the ministry fell we started giving them to other members of the Order on the sly.

"They can stop most curses, but unlike the previous version this stuff can also stop physical attacks too! That one there is based on a party popper, but rather than fire confetti these have been modified to fire tiny metal balls, they're enchanted to be bigger on the inside too. Each one is capable of inflicting fairly major damage on a witch or wizard and can break down most shields."

Harry's eyes almost popped out of his head when Fred pulled out what looked like a rocket launcher from his pocket. "Ah that's our firework launcher, we realised that for our bigger rockets we couldn't set them off without burning ourselves. So we made this, it will launch the rocket several metres before setting it off. The only problem we need to fix before we can sell it is if the rocket hits something on route it will deal quite a lot of damage."

It was an impressive number of products, most of which the Twins assured him the public didn't have access to.

Having decided contacting Aberforth was too much of a risk and leaving Remus to look after Teddy, their group set off. They briefly paused to allow Bill to lock the property before they apperated outside the Shrieking Shack, Tonks had warned them of the caterwauling charm but they still had at least an hour until the charm would be raised.

After applying disillusionment charms they broke into the shack and from there into the tunnel, about halfway down the tunnel they ran into a glowing barrier. Having expected to meet some form of resistance Bill and Tonks were leading the group, it took several minutes for Bill to break through the ward without alerting anybody it had been broken.

During the wait Fred and George checked over their gear and with nothing better to do Harry found himself watching, he thought it was funny how both were wearing muggle combat vests on top of their protective cloaks. The cloaks themselves had camouflage which had been enchanted so the pattern subtly shifted and moved, which made it extremely hard to focus on the twins.

The vests were practically overflowing with their products and one of the firework launchers was poking out, if Harry didn't know how lethal their products were he would've thought they were ready to embark on a full-on prank war.

After what seemed like an age Bill broke through the ward and they carried onwards, after Tonks immobilised the branches they hurried out and away from the tree and its branches. The twins then carefully led the group down to the lake and around to a cliff face under the great hall, the two then started feeling several rocks until Fred reached one that moved slightly.

He gave it a push and the wall next to him started to shimmer to reveal a doorway within the rocks, then with a flourish he threw the door open and bowed them in. The tunnel was wide enough for two people to walk side-by-side, once again Bill and Tonks took the lead with Harry and George behind them.

Ron and Hermione followed after them with Fred and Fleur at the rear, unsurprisingly the tunnel was both long and steep. At first Harry feared they would need to light their wands to light their way which would require Harry to concentrate on both not tripping and maintaining his light.

Luckily when the door shut behind them Fleur's hair started glowing faintly. The light from her hair bounced off strange crystals that jutted out of the wall every few feet, giving the tunnel a warm golden glow. "Veela are creatures of fire and light, remember" Fleur said lightly.

Harry had thought that after hiking across England for most of the year he was in good shape, but after climbing a hundred of the steps which had been carved into the ground left out of breath with no end in sight.

He found some relief in that George also seemed to be struggling, annoyingly both Tonks and Bill seemed fine with the journey, Tonks even grinned back cheekily after hearing Harry's laboured breath.

Eventually the tunnel opened up into a cavernous room that could easily hold the entire school's population, the floor also evened out and the group gratefully collapsed on the ground. Bill reached into his pack and handed out several energy bars, when Harry bit into his bar he recognised the distinct taste of Pepperup potion among the chocolate and cereals.

"It's a curse breakers recipe." Bill explained after seeing him look at the bar suspiciously "This bad boy not only re-energises you, it also draws out most poisons and gases and wards off Lethifolds. Trust me, the last thing you want to run into after a tough dig is a Lethifold hidden in your tent."

"That's great Bill, just please never refer to anything as 'bad boy' again…" George whined, still laying where he had fallen.

Bill grinned unapologetically then rubbed his hands together gleefully "Right, well I'll give you guys time to recover. You guys say the cave-in is down the other tunnel right?" At Fred's nod Bill set off into the darkness, Fleur following behind. As Fleur left the cavern grew darker until Hermione summoned a ball of light and sent it up to the ceiling, the light illuminated the cavern and allowed the party to finally see it clearly.

Despite clearly being wizard made, the only piece of furniture was a school desk which was covered in Fred and George's notes and homework. "So this is where our transfiguration essay went!" George said excitedly as they went through their old work.

Harry left the twins and went to sit down next to Ron and Hermione, he noticed Ron quickly letting go of Hermione's hand but didn't let on that he saw them. The three sat in near silence and Harry couldn't help wondering exactly when the three preferred to sit in silence.

Objectively he knew ever since Ron had left he and Hermione had spent most of their time away from each other but even when Ron returned their conversations were stilted, often talking because they needed to rather than because they just wanted to talk. Maybe it was just part of growing up, but Harry suspected being confined in what was effectively a small apartment for the best part of a year while on the run had been too much for them.

He wanted to remain friends with them but as he never had anything to talk to them about, even the few hours he had spent with Tonks had been more enjoyable than the few times he had tried to talk to Ron and Hermione.

Having grown bored of the silence Harry gave a brief nod to Ron and stood up, realising there was nothing else to do he went down the tunnel until he ran into Bill and Fleur at the cave-in. The two were systematically melding the rocks together into one smooth surface and then carefully excavating that layer. So far they had dug a tunnel that was around two feet long, but only just wide enough for Bill and Fleur to stand side by side.

As Harry was now there, Bill and Fleur stopped vanishing the rubble and let Harry do it for them. This let them move a lot quicker and soon the other side of the tunnel came into view. When they cleared the cave-in Bill then magically reinforced the tunnel and transfigured the walls into a steel pipe, then after calling the others they set off.

The tunnel ended abruptly with a large mirror blocking their way out, George smoothly slipped between Bill and Fleur and started tapping parts of the mirror with his wand. Wherever the wand tapped the mirror clouded over until the entire mirror was blank, he then said "Revelio".

Instantly the mist vanished from the mirror, but rather than show their reflections it showed the corridor beyond. Harry then withdrew the Marauders Map and made sure nobody was nearby, he then nodded at George who pushed the mirror open. The moment the mirror started to open an earsplitting shriek sounded, after barely a glance at each other the group split and took off at a run.

Harry and Tonks would be going down to the chamber of secrets to get a fang and search for a horcrux there, while they had the sword they wanted a backup to deal with the Snake and whatever the final horcrux was. Meanwhile Ron and Hermione would go to the Room of Requirement while Bill, Fleur and the Twins went to raid the headmaster's office after sealing the passage.

While they had planned Tonks had contacted Shacklebolt, who had assembled what was left of the order and any loyal Auror. But they needed the wards to be lowered before they could storm the castle, the controls of which happened to be in the headmaster's office.

He had barely rounded the first corner before he needed to duck under a killing curse, looking up he saw what must've been a seventh year Slytherin. What caught his attention was his badge, it was the inquisitorial squad badge from his fifth year, except it bore the dark mark in the place of the ministry of magic logo.

While he was admiring the badge Tonks had thrown several curses back, the student barely got his shield up in time only for Tonks' third curse to shatter it anyway and send him flying. With the threat temporarily disposed of they continued their sprint, they didn't encounter anyone else so after bursting into Moaning Myrtle's bathroom Harry opened the Chamber and together he and Tonks slid into darkness.

The reason Harry and Tonks had gone unchallenged was because after hearing the warning the teachers and prefects had rushed to the fourth floor corridor. Having already been warned by Shacklebolt, McGonagall had alerted the teachers something might be happening that night. Unfortunately the moment the signal rose the offices of the 'good' teachers sealed shut.

Bill regarded the small army before him wearily. He and Fleur had fought together before, both for the Order and for Gringotts. As such they had worked out a good plan, he would defend her from any incoming attacks while she focused on burning their enemies to a cinder.

Occasionally one of the twins rockets would fly over head and cause their opponents to scatter, Ron and Fleur would then focus their attacks on the weakest target. Despite the moment Bill couldn't help glancing at his wife, Fleur was like an angel of fire as flames poured out of her and spread out towards the enemy.

Despite how close they were to the flames Bill knew the fire wouldn't hurt him, however this courtesy didn't extend to those trying to kill them, the few times a transfigured animal had gotten too close they would quickly succumb to the flames. One of the teachers, Bill recognised her as Alecto Carrow, tried to put out the fire with an aguamenti charm.

This had the undesirable effect of filling the corridor with steam which made it hard for the two sides to see each other, as if they were waiting for a sign the death eaters started shooting much faster. Unable to see through the steam Bill had a tougher time deflecting the volley of spells until he tried to block a killing curse, it sailed right through his shield and struck a startled Fred.

Bill forgot all about defending and started sending his own wave of spells, spells the Egyptians had used to guard their tombs. Spells which were so destructive they would break most magical shields, under the onslaught the death eaters and prefects started dropping like flies. When the steam lifted it revealed a corridor filled with the dead, among them laid Severus Snape.

Ron had a vicious cut down his leg which Hermione was treating, Fleur was panting heavily and was literally smoking as her body tried to cool down after channelling so much heat. Finally George was crouched over Fred's lifeless body, physically he looked unharmed but Bill knew exactly how he felt.

Hermione had to practically drag Ron away, she knew it wasn't fair and that he wanted to stay with his family but they had a job to do. There would be time to grieve after Voldemort was dead.

With most of the teachers and prefects now dead she didn't think they would run into anybody else, despite this she periodically checked the Map. They didn't know when Voldemort and his army would show up, they could only hope it would take a while for him to assemble his army. As far as the Order was aware the last of the giants and werewolves were terrorising a town in Southern England, even with how fast the giants moved they would still take them a few hours to reach Hogwarts.

Finally they reached the Room of Requirement, by then Ron had gotten over his shock and now just seemed angry. He walked back and forth three times muttering "I need to find a horcrux" but when he finished the door refused to appear, he kicked the wall aggressively only to then start hopping around in pain.

Hermione then tried to make the door appear but no matter what she asked the door refused to open. Before she could try yet another combination Voldemort's voice echoed throughout the halls eerily.

"The terrorist group known as the Order of the Phoenix has fallen… The traitorous Aurors have been dealt with. The deaths of my loyal servants… displeases me. Students of Hogwarts, you have traitors in your midst. You have until midnight, tonight, to hand them over or your families shall suffer my… displeasure.

"Harry Potter I now speak to you, yet again you have let others die for you while you hide away. If by midnight you remain in hiding then my Death Eaters will enter the castle, they will then systematically lower the Hogwarts population one by one until you are found."

Knowing they had run out of time, Hermione had started to run towards Myrtle's bathroom, only to slow down to allow Ron to keep up with his damaged leg. When they reached the third floor they ran into a flock of Slytherin and Ravenclaw students ranging from third year to seventh, without warning the students opened fire and all she could do was try and maintain her shield.

Ron desperately tried to fight back but unwilling to hurt the children anyone he hit was soon enervated, most of the students could only fire weak curses but occasionally the cruciatus would fly past. Under the constant fire Hermione's magic drained quickly until a blasting curse broke through her shield and sent her out of the fight permanently. With her shield gone Ron quickly joined her on the ground.

Deep within the chamber Voldemort's warning was barely legible, the meaning behind the words however wasn't missed. The fang was easy to get and after putting it in a plastic box Tonks slipped it into one of her many pockets, however searching the Chamber was less fruitful. As far as they could tell there were no secret areas and while Tom could've hidden his horcrux down one of the many pipes they simply didn't have the time to look.

Running back to the entrance Tonks removed a shrunken standard issue Auror broom before turning back down the tunnel and shouted "Protego Diabolica". Blue fire started appearing wherever she pointed until the entire tunnel was filled with the flames, with a savage trust the fire grew and shot deep into the chamber.

The heat from the fire started blowing Harry's hair and a particularly strong gust almost threw him from the broom, when the flames jumped too close they seemed to snake towards his head. Clearly exhausted Tonks clambered onto the back of the broom as Harry flew them out of the chamber, leaving the fire behind.

"What was that!" Harry yelled as they rose

"Fire spell… very dark and dangerous, we sometimes use it to dispose of dark items as it can destroy almost everything. However it will only affect enemies of the caster, so we will be fine while a horcrux should be destroyed." Harry started as they had never told Tonks what they were looking for.

"Oh don't start, I didn't recognise it at first but it makes sense… your reaction also confirmed it. Keep in mind an auror's job involves crime scene investigation as much as taking care of dangerous criminals. As a test we could drop the cup in the fire to see if it gets destroyed"

Keeping one hand on the broom Harry reached into his Mokeskin pouch and withdrew the horcrux, he then let it fall from his hand and down the pipe. It fell for several seconds until it reached the flames, at first it seemed unaffected but then cracks started appearing. Eventually the cup broke apart and an inhuman scream filled the pipe.

Unfortunately the scream attracted the attention of a nearby group of students that were looking for Harry, while they held nothing against him personally they would gladly hand him over if it meant their families would be spared. The end of the pipe was in sight when several heads poked over the top, he had barely registered what he was seeing when spells started raining down around him.

Years of dodging bludgers allowed Harry to avoid most of the spells but there were simply too many to avoid them all. One of the older students, having seen how most of the spells were missing, conjured a weighted net and waited until Potter swerved nearby before banishing the net towards him.

As she had planned the net struck Harry squarely and sent him and his passenger plummeting back down the tunnel.

Harry had experienced free falling before, however normally he had a working broom under him. When the net had struck him one of the weights had gone right through the broom and broke it apart, even as he fell he felt several spells strike him and felt Tonks go limp behind him.

Eventually he fell into the flames and felt a searing pain in his scar, his last conscious thoughts were filled with the pain from the fire and then the sickening crunch when he struck the floor.

Unknown to Harry, as he fell the sands of time which had stubbornly stuck to his clothes and skin started glowing brilliantly. It was as if they were drawing power from the flames around them and the moment his body hit the ground a blast of golden energy erupted from him.

Awakening with a start Harry looked around fearfully, physically he felt fine but he wouldn't forget how much pain he had just experienced anytime soon. Looking around he realised he was somehow back in Shell Cottage, looking at his watch revealed it was 7:36 pm meaning he had missed an entire day.

Hesitantly getting to his feet he went downstairs only to find Ron, Hermione, Bill, Fred, George and an unharmed Tonks huddled around a table. He came to a stop when he saw they were looking at the same plans as yesterday.

Having heard him come downstairs Ron looked up guiltily and misinterpreting his look started rubbing the back of his neck and said "We can use Bill's help Harry, he's broken into hundreds of tombs already, some much better protected than Hogwarts… It's fine, I haven't told him why we are breaking in."

The end.

Now for a start I want to reiterate that in canon Harry and gang spent several weeks at Shell Cottage before going after the Cup, in this Voldemort hasn't even had time to visit Grindelwald meaning he doesn't know where the Elder Wand is. Likewise he hasn't had time to assemble and move his army, as giants are so resistant to magic it makes sense they can't be side-along apperated.

As such he can't just rock up to the gates a few minutes after Snape leaves and lay siege to the castle. Now the question people are going to be asking is why didn't the group go through the room of requirement's passageway, the easy answer is nobody in the group knew it existed.

If they had asked Luna and Dean could've told them but in both canon and this they didn't. Which also raises the question of how the hell Harry expected to get into Hogwarts considering he knew the honeydukes tunnel was guarded.

The charm Tonks uses is the same charm Grindelwald uses in 'Crimes of Grindelwald' during the final fight, which is one of the coolest scenes to come out of the wizarding cinematic world, the fire is meant to be black but the blue looks so cool I changed it.

I should note the "the end" is a joke, I expect the next and final chapter to come out sometime next month, I'm then going to go through the story and make sure I'm happy with it and then I should have my first completed story done!
