Hey, everybody. Back with another chapter. Sorry it took so long. I've just had a lot going on in my life that's kept me from writing. Also, since I'm working on so many different stories, updates may come to this one less often than you're used to.

Alright. Let's get to the chapter.

kendog52361: Yeah, they'll be careful not to let the Empire know they planted a bug in Palpatine's office.

Peter Hong Kong: Individually, each Terran fighter is superior to almost every model of TIE fighter, but they do still have a disadvantage in numbers, though not as bad as the Rebellion.

CMac54: I am aware of the two term limit. However, given that Obama at this point as also the Executive of the Terran Alliance General Assembly, the Assembly has the power to vote to keep him in office for an extra term while the war lasts.

RandomFanAuthor: If you're talking about just Star Destroyers, the Alliance uses the London class and the Baltimore class. The Baltimore class is bigger and much more powerful than the London class, but they're nearly identical in appearance. The Alliance now also has a few Imperial class Star Destroyers that defected from the Empire and now serve the Alliance. If you're talking about all the different kinds of warships the Alliance suses, here's a list: light cruisers, heavy cruiser, interdiction cruisers, Star Destroyers, battlecruisers, battleships, starfighter carriers, and Super Star Destroyers.

Sectrooper: During Empire Strikes Back, no. But an Imperial invasion of Earth will happen not long after. The events of Empire Strikes Back will be a major catalyst for the eventual invasion.

rangerhero: In answer to your first question: yes, at least twice, probably three times. In answer to your second question: Yes, they'll be aware of the danger posed by the First Order. They won't be outwardly at war, in order to maintain peace with the New Republic, but the Alliance's relationship with the First Order will definitely be hostile before the war outright begins.

Guest DCDGojira: Vader down will be mentioned in the timeline.

Guest: Well, as I've mentioned, things haven't been going so well for the Alliance. They've had several defeats. Plus, each time they engage the Empire, they only do so after making exactly sure what they're up against, making well thought out plans, and putting together a large enough force. Plus, the Alliance has long mastered something that I have yet to see evidence of the Empire learning: the ability to use all their forces in harmony. The Alliance has well mastered using both warships and starfighters in space combat, as using extensive close air support and orbital bombardment to support ground operations, on level well beyond what the Empire has learned. As for the rebels, since they're so much smaller, they handle more of the smaller operations, while the duties of conducting big battles and planetary invasions mainly fall to the Alliance because the Alliance has so much more at their disposal. The Rebels have been doing plenty of fighting, just separate from the Terrans.

pervy sage: Kinda.

clynch3: He'll meet Ahsoka after the events of the Empire Strikes Back.

Chapter 33- Water Wars

(TAS Essex)

In the CIC of the starfighter carrier TAS Essex, Admiral Philip Jones examines the recent reconnaissance reports on the target of his task force. Kamino.

The Empire had maintained a presence on Kamino following the Clone Wars, although there were no records of the Empire utilizing the planet's cloning facilities. However, there was a worry that the Empire may attempt to restart clone production to build up their faces in the face of continued Terran assaults. After a Terran defeat in a space battle two weeks ago in the Outer Rim that saw the loss of two cruisers, the Terran Joint Command decided to advance their plans to invade Kamino.

This invasion would be different than any invasion the Alliance had attempted so far. The Imperials actually had only a small garrison of soldiers on the planet. The bulk of their defenses for the planet was the fleet protecting it. Not only that, but the planet and infrastructure was far different than the other planets they had invaded so far. For that reason, the task force sent to take Kamino contained no Dreadnought class battleships. Instead, the fleet was led by the Essex, accompanied by another starfighter carrier, the Argus, three Repulse class battlecruisers, 17 Star Destroyers, 5 heavy cruisers, and 2 light cruisers, as well as six transport ships carrying a total of two US Marine Divisions and one division of the Philippine Army.

This was also the first major joint operation between the Rebellion and the Terran Alliance. The Rebellion had mostly left the bigger operations to the Terrans. But, in this battle, 5 rebel cruisers and their embarked fighter squadrons would be participating, and 1,000 rebel troops would be participating in the landings.

The strategy called for the main fleet to engage the Imperial fleet protecting the planet. As they were engaging the Imperial fleet and distracting them, landing craft would take the Marines and Philippine troops down to the surface, and land on three different Kaminoan cities. The men would, in many cases, fast rope or parachute down onto the cities from the landing craft. They weren't worried about conducting too many airstrikes on Kamino itself, given the planet had minimal defenses on the surface.

"Admiral!" A Torfan officer walks up to Jones. He waits for a moment before he says, "We are nearing Kamino."

"Order all squadrons to prepare for takeoff. And contact the transports. I want all troop carriers to prepare for landing operations once we drop out of hyperspace," Jones orders. The Torfan officer nods before leaving the relay the orders.

Jones stays in the CIC for a minute longer before he makes his way to the bridge. He knows that this operation cannot fail. They need a victory here.

Several minutes later, the blue of hyperspace lengthens out and the fleet drops out of hyperspace. Up ahead, he sees the planet Kamino come into view, along with a small Imperial task force of just 10 Star Destroyers and 4 Gozanti class cruisers.

"Deploy the fleet. Launch all squadrons and send in the battlecruisers and Star Destroyers. I want all fighters to protect the landers as they begin landing," Jones orders.

Jones' orders are relayed to the other ships of the fleet. Fighters begin to launch across the fleet as the three battlecruisers move ahead of the rest of the fleet, with the Star Destroyers following close behind, ready to engage the Imperial fleet.

Meanwhile, at the back of the Terran fleet, the last of the troops began to board their landing craft, and the first landers begin to launch from their ships. Several fighter squadrons have already taken up a covering position around the transport ships and begin to escort the landing craft towards Kamino.

Meanwhile, aboard the TAS Eagle, the most ambitious landing the Terrans have ever attempted begins to be carried out. Prior to the operation, four aquatic warships were loaded aboard the Eagle. These ships were the guided missile submarine USS Michigan, the attack submarines USS Texas and USS New Mexico, and the Russian battlecruiser Admiral Lazarev. Now, massive landing ships designed to carry such massive loads secure the submarines and the Admiral Lazarev beneath them and take off from the Eagle and begin heading towards Kamino.

(A landing craft)

Kelly checks her belt again to make sure her lightsaber is properly secured, then looks over at Luke. They had been jointly assigned to lead the Rebel troops in assisting the 3rd Marine Division in capturing Timira City. Timira is located relatively far from the other two cities being targeted by the invasion.

The transport shakes a little bit from some turbulence, and the pilot calls over the PA, "Prepare for landing!"

Kelly looks at Luke, and the two smile at each other. They then turn to the Rebel troopers and Kelly calls out, "Alright. Gear up!"

All the Rebels start grabbing their weapons and checking them to make sure they're ready. They then all stand up and begin to congregate near the exit of the transport, waiting for it to open.

Finally, the transport comes to a halt. A moment later, the doors open, revealing that the transport is hovering about 10 feet over a walkway.

"Ropes!" Kelly yells out as she comfortably leaps out of the transport, igniting her lightsaber and blocking a blaster bolt from a stormtrooper as it flies at her.

A machine gunner in the doorway begins firing his machine gun at the approaching stormtroopers. As he does, the rebel troops in the transport, as well as Luke, begin fast-roping down onto the walkway.

As Kelly deflects blaster bolts back towards the few stormtroopers on the walkway, she feels a bit of confusion. The Empire had to have had at least a few minutes warning that the Terrans and Rebels were landing troops in Timira. So why are there not more stormtroopers patrolling the city? She can see across to other parts of the city, and sees similarly small numbers of stormtroopers. She's starting to wonder if maybe just the Rebels could have taken Timira without the help of the Marines.

Luke and the remaining Rebel troops land behind her and hurry up behind her, their blaster fire cutting down the last few stormtroopers.

"Where aren't there more stormtroopers?" Luke asks.

"I don't know. I was just wondering the same thing," Kelly says.

The two stand there for a moment before Kelly notices that the Marines landing on other walkways are making advances into the buildings. Kelly motions forward with her lightsaber and says, "Let's move on, men!"

Kelly starts hurrying down the walkway, Luke right by her side and the Rebel troops following behind them. As they reach one of the main buildings of the city, the door opens for them.

As Kelly and Luke enter the building, they almost immediately come under fire from a number of stormtroopers. Kelly deflects incoming blaster bolts back towards the troopers as Luke fires his blaster at them. As they enter the building, the Rebel troops also open fire on the stormtroopers. It doesn't take too long, with Kelly deflecting many of their bolts, for all of the stormtroopers to fall.

"Forward!" Kelly yells, and she and the Rebels charge down a hallway.

As they make their way deeper into the building, they find a large open chamber that looks like it might have once been one of the cloning rooms of the city. As they and another company of Rebel troops enter the room, they come face to face with several hundred stormtroopers.

Both sides open fire on each other and begin ducking for cover. Kelly twirls her lightsaber at incredible speed to block incoming blaster bolts.

As Kelly twirls her lightsaber, Luke gets on the radio to the commander of the Timira landings and says, "This is Commander Luke Skywalker! We are in one of the old cloning rooms in the northernmost building! We're pinned down and need some support!"

"Copy that, Skywalker. Stand by," the reply comes.

Luke continues firing back at the stormtroopers while he waits for another response. Finally, after a minute, he hears, "We have a Marine battalion headed in your direction, ETA 5 minutes."

"Copy," Luke says as he fires another blaster bolt, killing a stormtroopers.

The Rebels slowly begin to advance across the room. Several a shot down, but they begin to slowly gain some ground.

Then, as Luke dashes from one piece of cover to another, a massive lift on the other side of the room, behind the stormtroopers' lines, opens up, and more figures charge out. At first sight, they look like stormtroopers. Then, the Rebels begin to realize their armor looks more like that of old clone troopers of the Republic instead of stormtroopers.

Then, the new arrivals open fire, sending blaster bolts into the stormtroopers. The stormtroopers begin to fall by the dozens as they are caught completely off guard. The Rebels, although still not sure who these new arrivals are, take advantage of the distraction and press their attack. After another minute, the remaining stormtroopers are all dead.

As she sees the last stormtrooper fall dead, Kelly slowly begins to advance towards the new arrivals, lightsaber held at her side but at the ready.

One of them slowly advances towards her. As they approach each other, Kelly asks, "Who are you?"

"I am Clone Commander CC-0101," he says.

"How are there still clones?" Kelly asks.

"That's a question for our Kaminoan commanders. But, for now, how about you let us help you run those Imps out of here," CC-0101 says.

"Sounds like a plan to me," Kelly says with a smile.

(TAS Essex)

Admiral Jones stares around at the various boards, all of them displaying data on the status of the landings. As he keeps looking, an Elf approaches and says, "Admiral Jones, we have a report from Major General Apgood. He reports that his forces landing in Timira City have encountered clones that are helping them fight the Imperial forces in the city."

Jones looks at the Elf in confusion. "Did you say clones?" he asks.

"Yes, Admiral," the Elf responds.

"Contact Apgood. I want any updates he receives about those clones," Jones says.

"Understood," the Elf says before going to relay the orders.

(Timira City)

Kelly slowly walks through the halls of Timira City. As it turned out, the Imperial garrison in the city was relatively small, and with the help of the mysterious clones that had showed up all over the city to aid the invaders against the Empire, the garrison had been wiped out. Now, CC-0101 is escorting Kelly to meet with the Kaminoan mayor.

They soon reach a large door, which opens. Behind it, a male Kaminoan sits in a chair, waiting for them.

As Kelly enters, the Kaminoan stands up and says, "Greetings. I am Ala Su, the mayor of Timira City. And you are?"

"Kelly Adams, Jedi Knight and Captain in the Terran Alliance Army," Kelly says.

"I welcome you and your friends in the Rebellion and the Terran Allliance, and thank you for freeing us from the Galactic Empire," Ala Su says.

"You are welcome. However, I must ask…where did all of these clones come from? I thought the Empire shut down cloning here on Kamino?" Kelly asks.

"They did. However, not all Kaminoans took kindly to the Empire. We here in Timira continued cloning operations in secret, hidden from the Empire. We have raised new generations of clones, all with no loyalty to the Empire. Other cities have done so too, but they were discovered. We are the only city to do so to keep all our clones hidden," Su says.

"Impressive," Kelly says.

"Indeed. And now that you are here, I wish to make an offer to your Terran Alliance. In exchange for the continued protection of your Terran Alliance army and navy, we will give you our clone forces to aid you in your fight against the Empire," Su says.

Kelly looks surprised for a moment, then starts to smile. "I'll have to talk to our commanders. But I'd say it sounds like a deal," she says.

(TAS Essex, hours later)

From the bridge of the Essex, Admiral Jones looks over the reports. As it turned out, the operation was easier than anticipated, due in part due to the secret cloning that had taken place on Kamino. There had been less casualties than expected, and the Terran Alliance now held control of the planet.

The secret cloning taking place on Kamino had come as quite the surprise, but it was a pleasant surprise to be sure. Jones had already communicated the news back home to the Joint Command, who had accepted the Kaminoans' offer. It turned out that the Kaminoans in Timira had taken an unorthodoz approach. Half of their clones had been grown with the same growth acceleration as the original clones for the Republic, while the other half had been grown at a normal rate of aging, to ensure they could continue to serve for longer. Timira had a total of 20,000 clones. As it turned out, there was another city on Kamino that had had done the same thing, although they had not gotten on the bandwagon until later, having produced just 6,000 clones. The Joint Command had decided to use the 6,000 clones from the other city to build up the Terran Clone Legion, now rebranded the Terran 1st Clone Division, and replenish its losses so far in the war. The 20,000 clones from Timira would be rebranded as the Terran 2nd Clone Division.

Jones smiles as he thinks about this. The invasion of Kamino had turned out to be even more profitable for the Alliance than the Alliance had ever expected.

And, I'll end there. Hope you liked that one.

So, I hope you liked what I did with the Kaminoans producing secret clones. That actually happened in Legends, although in Legends, all the clones were wiped out. In my universe, Timira city kept their program highly secret, and waited for the opportune moment. So, the Terran Alliance now has two divisions worth of clones. We'll see them again soon.

Alright, the next chapter will kick off the events of the Empire Strikes Back. I hope you guys are excited for it. Current plan is for the events of the movie to last eight chapters. I may have to extend that a chapter or two depending on how long the chapters get or any new ideas I come up with. But, for the time being, expect at least chapters 34-41 to cover the events of Empire Strikes Back.

Next chapter will be up soon. Until then, leave a review, and stay tuned!
