A/N: Sorry, procrastination got me really good lately, plus I'm lazy... heh.

"I know Ace Savvy and One Eyed Jack are the main characters but I still prefer Dark Ace more than them." Lincoln said as he took a bite from his lunch, a homemade grilled cheese sandwich that Luna made for him earlier that morning. It was delicious and he reminded himself to thank her sister again when he got back.

"Well, can't blame you for thinking like that. Dark Ace is getting more attention lately since his tragic backstory as the anti heroes has been put out into the latest issue. I didn't expect them to take a dark approach with his character, but its really bring his motivation out to the readers. You know what, I'm really on edge for the next installment." Clyde cheerfully agreed before taking a drink from his box of apple juice.

"Yeah, it does make us wonder who to choose between Ace Savvy and Dark Ace, both of them were quite strong with their own personal motives for what they did, but I'm sure the main character will win like always." Lincoln pointed out. "Plus, Dark Ace is still in his teen years against an older superheroes, if anything their ages gap would be enough to show how large their difference in experince for their upcoming fight."

"So you're saying that Dark Ace never has a chance to even win the fight in the first place?" Clyde inquired.

"Its only common for the main character to win, there isn't much to say about that since this is a kids rated comic." Lincoln stated while drinking from his box of orange juice. "And they're taking a lot of risk by putting Dark Ace into the canon material, it didn't suit that well with the younger readers." He added.

"But he is a great character! The plot is getting more interesting now with the tension rising between them." Clyde gave his opinion. "I don't think they would just easily kill his character like that either since some people has grown fond with his development as the anti heroes."

"Now that you mention it, I'm pretty sure he has his own fanclub now in social media with people drawing fanarts and stuff about him, they even sell knockoff merch if I'm not wrong." Lincoln let out a low chuckle, soon followed by his recent friend.

It was only a few days ago that he met with the dark skinned boy and they actually hit it pretty well between them. Although Clyde was quite timid and cautious around new people, he still tried his best to know him better, something that most people disregard about him. He was a delinquent, he could at least cut them some slack for thinking that he can't bring anything but trouble, a big red flag for their own sakes. He was already used with the way how people treated him. If they didn't try to avoid him, then some who think that they are much stronger than him would come and challenge for his reputation. He still didn't know why they wanted the reputation as the most feared bully that much, there wasn't anything interesting in the first place that they would have gained from defeating him.

What do they expect would happen if they actually defeated him, is there anything that they can be proud of for the accomplishment. He don't know what they were thinking about him, he tried to understand them by starting a conversation but they didn't give him much of a chance before throwing their insults and punches like he only existed for only that sole purpose. He tried his best to find a solution for their misunderstanding, using his words properly before making any assumptions for their situation. He'd be lying if he said he never do something that he was ashamed of when he was still a delinquent. He would sometimes started a fight just to release some pent up anger and frustration with other bullies when he saw them cornering a student for whatever reason.

Part of him argued that he was doing so to help the poor student from the bullies, while the the other part said he was doing so for fun and the thrilling excitement from a fight. He was reckless, quickly making his decision before thinking first which only led to unnecessary fight that would only bring more trouble to him. Sure it was fun, showing the bullies what they deserves, but it was not worth it all the problem he had suffered. Unless if they're talking bad about any of his sisters, then it was already decided by nature selection they would receive a hell of a beating from him. The only reason why he started to fight in the first place and he still stood by that principle of his. There is no way he would let anyone talk bad about his sisters. Sure Lori can be a bit strict and annoying at times especially when she was using her phone, Leni can be a little bit hard to talk with at times, Luna can be much louder when he tried to rest after a tired day, and don't make him start with Luan... wait,

He is going off topic here.

Anyway even with all of their difference, he still hoped for only the best for them. They argues and say bad thing about each other sometimes but that was alright since they were sibling, but if anyone else even dared to insult one of his sisters, then they better hope he didn't find them first. He don't need a lot of reason to hold back if they really wanted to taste what will happen when they messed with a Loud, any of them for that matter. He will teach them a lesson that they will never forget, though his sisters might prevented him from going full out because of his promise with them. He wondered which one would be stronger, his promise or his principle, the only rules that he swore to never break. It was no longer a words of encouragement but also his way of life. Perhaps, he should talk with someone about this, he needs a more experienced opinion about the subject.

"Lincoln?" The white haired boy lifted his head only to see his friend looking at him with an eyebrow raised. Noticing the change in his voice, he quickly search for a reply that would be enough to ease his worry.

"Sorry Clyde, I spaced out for awhile, what were you saying?" Lincoln asked.

"Oh, it's not that important, I was just talking about the next comic release date." He waved it off. "What were you thinking about anyway, you seemed a little bit bothered just now." Clyde placed both of his arms on the table, slightly curious with his thought.

He wasn't sure if he should tell him about it or not. It would felt like he was bothering him with his personal matter and he don't think that would be appropriate since they were still trying to know each other better. He don't want to involve him with his problem and troubled him more than he already did. But, if he really wanted to make friend, he needs to start having trust with other people about his problem. They doesn't necessarily need to help him with his problem, just by listening to him would be enough to at least show that he trusted them with the information. If they gave their opinion or suggestion that can help him, that would be the benefit he would really appreciated.

"Lincoln, you're doing it again." Breaking from his trance, he looked at the spectacled boy in confusion.

"What did I do?" He asked, still oblivious as Clyde rolled his eyes with a small chuckle. He pointed his index finger at him.

"You're having that thoughtful look again," Clyde replied, slowly shaking his head in amusement. It wasn't the first time either since he saw the white haired boy sporting that look whenever he was deep in thought, which for some reason was more frequent than he thought. He would ignored everything around him when he was in that state as if he was completely indulged in his own world. Whatever he was thinking about, he would focus entirely on the subject. He still didn't know how he do that and not realizing what he was doing later on. It was like a flicker of switch that turned him into a different person and erasing the memory from his mind.

"Seriously? I really need to stop overthinking about everything." Lincoln sighed in frustration.

"I don't think that is a bad thing though." Clyde commented. "But why did you keep doing that anyway, it's kind of awkward when I tried to talk with you." He said as Lincoln crossed his arms.

"Honestly I also don't know why, I guess I'm just too used with being alone since I was always left with my thought." He shrugged. His eyes darted to the few students whispering and staring at them from their own tables in the cafeteria. He realized how long they have been doing that but decided to let it pass mostly because he don't want to make a scene that would only bring his reputation down.

Letting out a sigh of resignation, Lincoln closed his eyes for a moment before opening them back to look at his friend.

"I'm sorry for getting you into this Clyde, there is still time for you to back out if you want to, you can still leave me so they would stop treating you like this. They're only doing this because you're close to me, I'm sure they would treat you back to normal if you get back to avoiding me like the rest of them." Lincoln suggested, his eyes averted to the side. Its not like he wasn't glad to have someone to talk with at school, he just felt bad since people also treated Clyde like him. He didn't deserve to be in the same place as him, they're from a different world, a delinquent and an honor student, a complete opposite to each other, yet they casually talk as if they didn't have a border between them.

Sighing, Clyde lowered his head as he pushed his glasses slightly up his nose. "Actually this isn't that much different than how they treated me before. If I need to say this would be an improvement with how I used to be." He said while looking at the group of student walking out from the cafeteria. "If you think that I didn't expect this would happen, then you're completely wrong. I know they would avoid me just like you but its not like I'm close with them or anything, I never see them as nothing more than only my classmates... We actually have a lot in common than you think even with our different reputation at school."

"So you're alright with all of this?" Lincoln smirked. "Even if I'm a delinquent."

"I don't have problem with that, I just can't understand why you think One Eyed Jack can't win a fight against Dark Ace." Clyde said.

"Seriously Clyde, we already talk about this." He chuckled.

After the end of recess, they went to their next class which is unfortunately gym class. Lincoln didn't have any problem with gym class, he just prefered to conserve his energy more than spending them after all that he had went through. He was already tired after running away from the students that kept chasing him over the school, he don't need to waste more of his energy if he could save them instead. But it was still gym class and he had promised his sisters that he would no longer skipped class without a proper excuse unless he was sick. And currently he was none of that, he might be a little bit fatigue from the lesson and hiding from his pursuers but he was still capable of going through the day.

Even though how much he just wanted to sleep right now...

The thing he does for his sisters.

'Heh, wouldn't trade it for the world am I right'

After changing his clothes in the boy's locker room, he and Clyde headed to the gym with the rest of their classmates. Though they still put some distance between them and the white haired boy walking at the back.

They almost entered the gym when Clyde suddenly halted beside him, his eyes widened and a shiver crawled down his spine. "D-did you hear that?"

Lincoln looked at him in confusion. "Hear what?" He responded. It didn't take long before he also heard something not far from them, a sound of rubber planting against the floor, a really familiar sound that he could recognize anywhere. With narrowed eyes, he turned back to Clyde before letting out a sigh. It seems like he won't have a chance to get some rest in gym after all.

The door opened as a student went into the gym only to drop down soon after when a red ball hit him straight in the stomach. A few students grimaced at the cruel fate befallen one of their classmate but did nothing to help him as he curled in pain.

"Why me..." He grunted.

"Alright class, today we will be playing dodgeball." Coach Pacowski shouted. A few students groaned in frustration while the fallen boy struggled to get back up.

"Clyde, Girl Jordan, you both make a team." The coach said as he headed to the bench. The ginger haired girl sneaked a quick glare at Lincoln before walking away which confused him a little.

"Um Lincoln, you want to join my team," Clyde nervously asked.

"You know what Clyde sure, the quicker we end this the faster I can get some rest." Lincoln said, his right hand rubbing the back of his neck. After they finished picking the members for their team, they went to both sides of the gym with the red balls lined up in the middle for the fastest person to reach first. Clyde stood beside him, slightly shaking as he anxiously stared at the nearest ball to him.

"Lincoln, just so you know, I'm not that good with sport." Clyde admitted, his eyes darted to him. Lincoln already expected that from him but didn't say anything earlier since he don't want to hurt his feeling.

"Just dodge the balls as best as you can, leave the attacking to me." He replied while taking a good look at his opponents on the other side of the gym.

"You sure about that, you know how Girl Jordan is right? She can easily get us out in a few minutes." Clyde said as he looked at the coach reaching for his whistle around his neck.

"Well, just wish for the best I guess." Lincoln fixed his stance. "Besides my sister always said to also put my all in something else other than fighting." He smirked

Flashback

"Is that all you can do Stincoln! Come on now give me a challenge will you." Lynn once said while he wrestled with her in the backyard. He was currently being headlocked in his sisters arms while she brought him down to the grassy ground. He grabbed her arm around his neck and tighly clutching on them, trying to pry his sisters away from having more advantage on him. It was easier said than done since Lynn athletic build and stamina restricted him from moving freely in her grasp.

On the side, Lucy was peacefully reading a book under the shade of the tree. She would occasonally glanced at them before returning back to the page her book.

Lincoln sighed in defeat and raised both of his hands by each sides of his head. "I give up, you win Lynn." He admitted, slightly panting for air and struggling to breathe.

Lynn released him with a smirk and leapt to her feet before raising one of her fist to the air in victory. "Yes! Lynn three, Lincoln zero." She stated in excitement. "I can't believe they actually call you the white haired monster of Royal Woods, I guess Lynnsanity is just too much for you take." She held out her hand to him.

Finally being released, Lincoln sat upright and softly rubbed his sore throat, waiting for his breathing to get back to normal. The rising excitement in his body slowly dissipating, letting him to cool down after his match with her. "Easy for you to say Lynn, I don't have any training like you, I'm just fighting by instinct." He said while running his right hand through his white hair, brushing the dirt and leaves away. He took her hand in his as she pulled him up from the ground.

"That shouldn't be a reason for you to let your guard down, with enough practise, I'm sure you can be better." Lynn playfully punched his shoulder.

"Like you?" He inquired with a small smirk.

"Wow there, don't go dreaming too far will you." She replied. "I said you can be better, but not as amazing as me though." She pointed both of her thumbs at herself with a proud grin. He slowly shook his head and looked back at her.

"Why are you giving me advice for a fight anyway, I thought you all wanted me to stop from fighting." Lincoln asked, slightly confused since she asked him to practise with her earlier. He was expecting more sport related to ball than physical contact.

"Who said we are fighting, I'm just showing you the other way to spend your energy using sport. Instead of hitting people, you can also use your strength properly for other stuff that fit your ability." She pointed out.

"Lynn! I can't believe it, how dare you trying to trick me into being a jock like you!" He faked his shock, his left hand covering his mouth as his sister looked at him with a blank face.

"Stop being a dork Stincoln." She lightly shoved him away. "Just think about it, people always know you as a delinquent, if you showed that you're also talented in something else they might be more easy to forget who you used to be." Lynn said as she poked her forefinger into his chest.

"Wow Lynn, that is actually kind of sounds like a good idea." He responded.

"Of course it is, I'm Lynn Loud you can only expect the best from me." She bragged. "I'm going to get some drink, you want anything?"

"Cold water is fine." He replied as she began walking into the house and disappeared at the back door.

"Sigh, you're not being serious with her." Lucy spoke from under the tree. Lincoln looked at her with an eyebrow raised.

"I have seen how you fight before, I know you're not going full out with Lynn. The question is why?" Lucy asked, slightly lifting her head from the book.

He walked towards her and gently patted her head. "I just want to have fun today, there is no need to be serious." He chuckled.

"You don't mind if Lynn keep teasing you?" She asked.

"Since when did she stop teasing me anyway," He messed her hair, receiving a faint scowl from her. "Besides, I liked it more like this." He smiled.

Coach Pacowski blew the whistle as the students sprinted forwards for the balls. It was only the beginning of the game but a few kids had already been eliminated and were sent to the bleacher. At least Clyde was still doing decent beside him, dodging the balls that came towards them. Seeing the opportunity, Lincoln caught a ball and threw it at his opponents that stood close to each other. The ball ricocheted and hitting both of them at their shoulders. A few students that saw him watched in shock while he eliminated more students while catching the ball being thrown at him. If this keep going on, he will definitely be like Lynn. For some reason, he shivered at the thought. One Lynn is already enough.

His pupils dilated for a second when a red ball passed by near his face, startling him a little. The ball then hit the wall and left a small dent on the surface before bouncing onto the floor. That was a strong shot, and it was definitely aimed towards him if the upcoming attack would prove anything. He dodged all the attack and moved from his place, searching for where the torrent of balls were coming from. When he found the cause, he raised an eyebrow at the ginger haired girl glaring at him with the intensity that could make normal people shiver in fear. A ball nearly hit his face again but he quickly bent down to avoid the severe injury it could cause. From the force being put into the shot he won't be surprised if he got a concussion if the ball hit him. 'What's the matter with her?'

'Wait, she is only attacking us, did we ever do something wrong to her?'

Not that he can remember, perhaps she just takes sport seriously like Lynn. That would be a reasonable reason right? It could either be that or she is just trying to kill him. Yeah, the former would make more sense than the latter, why would she wanted to kill him anyway? He is just overthinking stuff again like always.

'I wanted to kill him'

Thought Girl Jordan as she threw yet another ball towards the white haired boy only for him to dodge her shot at the last minute. She clenched her teeth in frustration at the boy flexible movement, how did he keep doing that?

She knew of his reputation as the most feared delinquent in the elementary school. The white haired monster of Royal Woods as they might called him. She have a few classes with the boy and although she don't know much about him, she already knew what kind of person he was like, a trouble maker and she have proof for that. She would sometimes see him engaging in a fight with a few students that approached him, beating them with ease and unnerving smile. It was frustrating that she can't do anything before since fighting in school area was strictly prohibited.

But now that they were in her domain, she will finally showed him what he deserves. It was one thing that he kept bothering the students in the school, but now he is also targetting Clyde as his victim which she couldn't ignore anymore. Clyde is a good student with a bright future ahead of him and his deliquency would only affected him in a bad way. This was for all the troubles he had caused for the innocent students that was just enjoying their lives.

Gritting her teeth, Girl Jordan fiercely threw a ball towards his chest but Lincoln managed to step aside just in time before it hit him. The ball flew by and hit something else instead, resulting in a groan of pain coming from his teammates standing behind him. The poor boy rolled to the floor, gasping for air and having trouble to breathe properly after the hard blow. Lincoln turned around and raised an eyebrow at the boy curling in pain on the floor.

"W-why?... What did I ever do wrong to you..." He whimpered, almost breaking down at his consecutive cruel fate that day.

In the distance, Clyde winced and looked at Lincoln in fear. 'What should we do?' He mouthed.

'Wow, that was a close one... a dangerous one if I must add...'

Lincoln turned back to the braid haired girl only to see her determined eyes still glaring at him with a scowl. His heart pumped in his chest, slowly beating harder while following his rising breathe. A gust of warm air escaped from his mouth when he deeply exhaled, releasing the heat building in his body.

The corner of his lips curved up slightly as the intensity rising in the air, drowning the place in complete silence.

'Interesting.'

He lifted his head, cascading a shadow under his white bangs, his cold blue eyes returned the intimidating gesture to the girl, though much stronger. She flinched slightly under his gaze as a bead of sweat rolled down her forehead. It suddenly felt like there is a heavy weight pushing her down.

In an instant, Lincoln picked up the nearest ball to him and threw it straight at the girl, not caring how much strength he put into the shot. The ball passed by near her head and bounced against the wall before almost hitting her from the back. She didn't expect the ball to come back at her but the force of his attack was enough to maneuver the projectile in his intended direction. With a devious smile, he sprinted, rounded the ball and began aiming his attack at the girl who is now frantically dodging from side to side. The bystanders watched in shock as they kept attacking and dodging each attempts at eliminating the other only to no avail. Now it was only a fight of stamina between both of them as to see who could survive the longest.

'Stronger' Lincoln threw a ball at her, slightly chuckling in excitement when the ball almost hit her face.

'Faster' He dodged her shot and quickly recovering with his own counter attack before she got to reach any ball near her.

'Eliminate her!' Lincoln pulled his hand back and...

'Lincoln' His movement abruptly halted at the familiar voice lingering in his head. 'You promised me to never hurt other people again, prove it, you're stronger than this.' He quickly shook his head and looked at the girl panting for air across of him.

Dang it, I went too far again, how didn't I notice it?

Taking a deep breath, Lincoln let out a sigh and looked at Clyde with a side glance. He pointed at the nearest ball and jerked his head at the girl direction, she was the only one left of her team. Clyde nodded at him and he hoped this would actually work like he intended.

Girl Jordan locked eyes with the white haired boy again, but this time the tension between them is slowly disappearing. His eyes that were filled with excitement earlier, changed to a more calmer one and slightly filled with guilt. She reached for a ball and almost throw it when another ball headed towards her direction, startling her since she didn't see it coming from Lincoln. Her eyes darted to the side and widened when she saw Clyde was still there with them. She was too caught up on targetting the white haired boy that she didn't notice Clyde is still a part of their match. She quickly moved to the side only for another ball to softly hit her afterwards, shocking her even more since she wasn't expecting it too soon. But it was two against one and she was at fault for not noticing her disadvantage much earlier.

Coach Pacowski blew his whistle again, signalling the end of the match. "Team Clyde win." He announced.

A few students cheered for Clyde as Lincoln watched from the side. He turned his head and looked at the ginger haired girl still frozen at her place. After thinking for awhile, he walked towards her but stopped midway when he saw something on the floor. He bent down, lifted it up and inspected the object before looking back at the girl with a brow raised. He wasn't sure what it was but there is something different about her.

She lost. She can't believe it, because of her own stupidity, she lost the game and also humiliated herself along the way.

"Hey," Girl Jordan lifted her head to see the white haired boy standing infront of her. She gritted her teeth and clenched her fists by her sides.

"Its a nice game... " He paused, rubbing the back of his neck as his eyes averted to the side. With a defeated sigh, he looked back at the girl. "Listen, I'm sorry if I was being too harsh on you earlier, I'm still trying my best to control myself so I wanted you to know that I have no intention to hurt you or anything like that. You don't need to believe me, I just want to make it clear between us." He said, shocking her for the second time that day with the revelation.

'Did he just apologized to her? Was she hearing this right? What is real?'

"Hey, it's alright, you don't need to do this." She nervously replied, a faint shade of red crossed her cheek. "We're just playing dodgeball, its okay to be rough sometimes." She added.

"I'm sorry, I might have gone overboard earlier with my shots," He confessed, making her a little bit guilty since she also did the same to him. "Right, I found this on the floor earlier, I believe it belongs to you." Lincoln held out a bow in his right palm." Her eyes widened as she patted her the side of her head only to touch her hair.

"Um, thanks." She replied, taking the bow from his hand.

"You're welcome." He turned around and started walking away only to stop soon after at her challenge.

"You won this time Loud, but don't get used to it. I will get back at you" Girl Jordan said with a smirk.

"Sure, whatever you said..." He trailed off.

"Jordan Rosato, but you can call me Girl Jordan." She said, receiving a chuckle from him.

"See you next time Jordan." He walked over to Cyde who is waving at him.

'Huh, he wasn't as as bad as I think he is.' With that thought in mind, she smiled as the bells rang, signalling the end of gym class.

After the end of school, he met with Ms Johnson for awhile since she has something to talk about with him. Their discussion didn't went too long as he still need to leave due to his sisters waiting for him in the vanzilla. When they got home, he slowly dragged himself into the living room and fell face first onto the carpeted floor with a groan.

"Everything hurts..." He chuckled weakly.

Lola and Lana stood beside his lying figure in confusion.

"What happened to you Lincoln? Don't say you had another fight at school again today." Lola narrowed her eyes in accusation.

"Wish it was, I think someone tried to kill me in dodgeball earlier." He replied, far too exhausted that his body couldn't even move from the floor.

"Is it really that bad?" Lana asked, poking his shoulder with her index finger as he flinched at her touch.

"Ouch... don't worry about me, I just need to rest for now." Lincoln sighed. The twins looked at each other and nodded before turning back at him.

"Is there anything we can do for you?" Lola inquired.

"It's alright girls, you don't need to do anything for me, I don't want to bother you from enjoying your afternoon." He continued.

"No, we still wanted to do something for you." Lana insisted. "Please..." He can't see them from his current position but he was certain that they were giving him the puppy eyes.

Sighing in resignation, Lincoln thought of anything that they can do for him so they would stop their pleading. "I guess there is something you can do for me but I'm not sure about it." The twins smiled behind him.

"What is it?" They both asked in excitement.

Lori descended the stairs in seach of her brother when a distinct sound of moaning caught her attention.

"Yeah that the spot~" Lincoln said followed by a few giggles. "Just a little bit further down," He pointed out.

"Hurry up Lola, its my turn already." Lana argued.

"Stop it Lana, can't you see I'm helping Lincy right now." She chuckled.

"But I also wanted to join you, it seems fun!" Lana pleaded as Lincoln moaned softly.

Lori shuddered at the conversation being exchanged in the living room. Her heart skipped a beat in shock when Lincoln moaned louder than before, sending a few unpleasant images flashing in her head. Not wanting to wait any longer, she reached the living room and raised an eyebrow at the sight before her.

Lincoln was laying flat on his bare stomach while Lola is softly stepping on his back, her bare feets putting light pressure on his sore and tired body. Lincoln smiled in satisfaction with his eyes closed as she carefully went up and down along his back, eliciting a low moan from him.

"Come on Lola, I also want to get on his back." Said Lana with a scowl.

"Uh, what are you all doing?" Lori interrupted them.

"Lincy is tired so we thought we could help him by giving him a massage." Lola replied.

"Right..." Lori skeptically said, her doubt undeterred.

In the distance, Lucy stood beside Lynn as they just got out from the dining toom. Lucy took a step forward only to be stopped by Lynn who was holding her shoulder from behind, already knowing what the black haired girl has in mind.

"Don't even think about it." She narrowed her eyes at the black haired girl.

"Sigh..."
