DISCLAIMER: IT IS OWNED BY NEW LINE CINEMA AND WARNER BROS. STUDIOS! I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING EXCEPT FOR MY OC'S!

A/N: PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS! VERY IMPORTANT!

Well... You asked for it and I'm giving it to you! This is the official rewrite of Dealing With Being a Loser, and I hope this turns out to be good for you guys! :) I was originally going to upload all of this at the same time, but I decided against it, because I want to get this out sooner to y'all! But I still hope this is much better than the original version. Updates may be a little slow due to me writing TWO other stories on FanFiction and one story on Wattpad. But I hope you guys are okay with that.

My attempt here is to make the story a lot more fleshed out and original with more scenes with Steph's character, which is something I failed to do in the original version. My goal is to do what I did right with Losers Stick Together: make Steph's character more interesting and likable. I am taking some advice from my followers and I'm going to do this story justice and make it everything you guys have ever wanted.

This rewrite will include, but not be limited to the following:

- More original scenes

- Surprise scenes

- A character arc for Steph (specifically, a slow progression of her turning into a badass female character)

- More Steph/Bill scenes

- A bit more payoff in the ending

- More suspense and scares

- A subplot

- A custom soundtrack (will explain more in the next chapter)

- Surprise cameos and characters

- And much, much more...

This is the same story as the original version, but there will be different versions of scenes, entirely new scenes, and I will be more faithful to the 2017 movie. This, I believe, is my definitive rewrite.

Extended Plot Summary: Stephanie Palmer is a Loser, no doubt about that. She has been ever since she was a little kid. The poor girl has had to deal with many hardships in her young life. To name a few: her mother going through an illness, being a loner, getting bullied by Henry Bowers and his gang, etc.

But Steph finally made friends with four boys: The Losers' Club. And it is now two and a half years later, 1989. And strange things are going on in the town of Derry. Young children are going missing every other day, including Bill Denbrough's little brother, Georgie. And now things are worse than ever.

After three other kids join the infamous group of friends, the eight have to band together to fight an ancient evil that takes on the form of their biggest fears. Steph's fear is the worst of all: losing her friends and mother.

What will happen when she has to finally face that fear? Will she be able to live through that horrific summer? Can she muster up the courage to admit her newly blossoming feelings for a certain boy who stutters?

And, most importantly, how will she be able to deal with being a Loser?
