AN: Again, don't care for reviews, nor your suggestions. I got a review on my BnHA Gamer story, telling me about skills to use.

I read The Gamer actively.

I will use the skills I want to. If you want to read A Gamer story where the protagonist uses "Spinning Mana Arrow" and all those other boring ones then read the original one. Quite frankly, every Naruto Gamer story on this site and others has just been a regurgitated version of The Gamer Manhwa. They're all boring and uninspired where Naruto somehow ropes in the Konoha 11 to power level with him.

I get people get that from the Original Manhwa, but that's just so boring to read, not to mention it's too much effort to write, which is why im pretty sure all of them are abandoned. You'd have to come up with a stat page for them all and keep track of it.

TLDR; Do not give me skill suggestions, all other Naruto Gamer fics are trash and uninspired friendship power levelling trash.

Also, don't bitch about the Stats, I can already hear you all being like "WTF". I'm not gonna explain it, but they all make sense.

Gallivanting God

Chapter 2

Naruto awoke in the early hours of the morning, the sun breaking over the horizon as beams of light broke through the holes in his old and worn curtains. The blonde's eyesight was blurred as he adjusted to the early hours of the morning. There was a large blue blur in front of his eyes which he couldn't make out. Rubbing his eyes clear of the crust of rheum, the blonde's eyesight unblurred and became focused, the blue blob from before was now a clear screen. The screen displayed a message he didn't quite understand. Restarted his life? This must be a dream. He didn't want his life to restart. He didn't want to live through his childhood again. Naruto began to panic before an overwhelming sense of calm set over him.

"That was strange…." The blonde mumbled with a groggy morning voice. The blonde stared at the screen for more time until it moved along to another message.

"Uzumaki Naruto, you have been gifted the power of The Gamer. Understandably, you are confused, you have already used one of your new abilities, Gamer's Mind. Because you are unfamiliar with games, you will go through the Tutorial, in other words, you will be given training to be able to use this power with all your ability. You will not be able to continue unless you complete this Tutorial."

Naruto was now bewildered. What kind of Genjutsu was this? It must have been a prank by someone in the village, there's no way some random screen would appear in front of him with a message that knew his name. The blonde also noticed the world lost its colour, as everything grinded to a halt. He could see birds in the sky, mid-flight, stopped their wings mid flap, even some of the few people in the street had stopped mid stride. The Jinchuriki looked back to the screen in front of him and resolved himself to go through this "Tutorial". Thirty minutes later, did Naruto come out of the Tutorial, with his head clearer, but also, an understanding of the ability granted to him. It made the blonde into a "Gamer" which he had come to understand was a term for someone who played Games. Regardless of that, Naruto had made his way through the Tutorial and was now staring at the Status Page. Naruto didn't know if his stats were good or not, but he liked big numbers.

Again, Naruto didn't know if his stats were good or not, the Jinchuriki was curious about the mysterious attribute he possessed. From that in-depth, mind-numbing tutorial, Naruto knew that The Gamer System wouldn't recognise something about himself unless he knew it. His other attributes "Larger Than Life Presence", "Hulking Strength" and the others were products of his high stats. The blonde still got pissed off seeing his low INT stat. The Genin knew he wasn't the brightest bulb, but his appliance of his knowledge was used differently. Regardless of that, the blonde made it a goal to increase his INT stat. The System also explained to him that things like "Skill Books" could help him increase stats for free. Another way to increase his stats was to do activities that either challenged him mentally or physically.

Naruto theorised that to increase his intelligence stat he would have to do something like, play Shogi or Chess.

"For thinking of a logical way to raise your attributes you gain +1 point to WIS and INT."

Naruto grinned cheekily at the pop up in front of him. If you could gain points like that, the blonde hoped he could think logically far more often. There were two skills that Naruto had gotten from the Gamer System that upon reading them through made him extremely happy. The first one was, Gamer's Body. Whilst Naruto recovered from injuries faster than normal people could, this gave him such an unfair advantage over everyone else and the blonde loved every second of it. This meant he could heal most of his injuries and other things by simply getting a good night's sleep. The second skill Naruto absolutely loved, was Gamer's Mind. It prevented him from getting overly emotional, acting out in large bursts of emotions, it also prevented any kind of Mental Attack to him, making him invulnerable to them. The System explained that this made Genjutsu useless on Naruto, to which he was very happy for, as it was by far his worst area of the Shinobi arts next to Taijutsu.

The blonde noticed the world gaining colour, sound slowly returning to his ears as the birds outside continued their flight like nothing had stopped them before. Naruto smiled to himself, today was looking to be a sunny day, which meant training and experimentation to see if Shadow Clones did more than he thought they were capable of. Naruto picked up his book about Fuinjutsu and set off to find a lone training field he could use. Naruto had six more days of his break left, which meant he had that much time to start improving himself and "Levelling Up". Naruto had wanted to start training as soon as possible and stuck to taking one of the tree branch passageways. This let him escape the gaze of the villagers he detested. Arriving at the training field after ten minutes of travel, Naruto had found an old training field, if the overgrown grass was anything to go by.

The blonde quickly used his Tajuu Kage Bunshin technique and summoned over 300 clones, this also levelled the skill up to Level 6 in the process. The blonde quickly split up the clones into separate groups. He would send 100 of them to work on all the Chakra Control exercises that they read about yesterday. A further 50 would be doing Taijutsu spars. This was to see if his clones did indeed transfer physical fatigue. Another group of 50 would be sent to purchase strategy games and guides so they could learn how to play the games they were given. The last 100 would be used as practice dummies for Naruto himself. This way the blonde could have the clones around him look at his form, to see if he could be doing anything better. Whilst Naruto knew his Taijutsu form was sloppy, he had been paying close attention to how Kakashi fought in their practice sessions. The Genin wished to emulate the solid form that the Jonin used flawlessly, but he also wanted to make the form his own and incorporate some of the Jinchuriki's own unpredictable Taijutsu Style.

Without any further ado, Naruto launched himself into his training relentlessly, it took him over 4 hours before Naruto finished fighting all the clones. The blonde made sure they were trying their best, making sure to dodge his attacks wherever possible, countering him with vital shots. Naruto could confidently say, despite having no expertise in biology, that he had a couple of cracked ribs, and possibly cracked knuckles too. Naruto always felt the way he was taught to punch was damaging to him. The blonde made sure to pay closer attention to how Kakashi punched, clearly, he couldn't fully emulate the proper punching technique. Nothing that training couldn't fix, Naruto still had over 5 days left of active recuperation. The young preteen also realised, that his clones don't transfer physical fatigue, they only transferred Memories.

The Jinchuriki therefore assumed, logically, the only thing his clones could really train on was Jutsu, and Chakra Control; if he did discover new ways to train it. All the new things he found yesterday, were hardly helpful, the only that was of help was the leaf exercise, to which after those 4 hours his clones were moving multiple leaves around their body, right until they ran out of chakra. It's safe to say at that point, Naruto got absolute devastating blows from his clones as he received influxes of memories from his clones. The blonde was frustrated at his lack of a Jutsu arsenal. Yes, he could use hundreds of clones on someone and then substitute with the closest one to his enemy. But what stopped his opponents from dispatching his clones with a Long Range Jutsu? Even when they fought Kakashi on that first day, the scarecrow of a man simply used Taijutsu to eliminate all his clones. Granted he could have used them better, but that was besides the point.

"Man… I have so much to improve on!" Naruto yelled out in frustration, his voice echoing throughout the dull forest around him. "I need to learn a long-ranged Jutsu! But there's so many I could choose from, what the hell do I choose!?" The blonde ruffled his scalp in confusion as he rolled about on the ground pathetically. Coming to a stop, he took a few breaths to calm himself. Naruto's face shifted to a calm stony expression, like you would see on The Last Uchiha. "Sasuke uses Katon as his method of long-range attacks, and Kakashi supposedly has a thousand Jutsu he's copied. Maybe, I can find something in the library again… I should have payed more attention in the academy…" Naruto groused as he picked himself off the ground.

As the blonde was walking back to the village, ignoring the pain in his ribs and elsewhere, he pulled up the Stat Page. Naruto noticed he had gained skills relating to the strategy games his clones played, as well as the fact that his INT stat went up quite a bit. The skill he particularly liked was the one called Analyse. It gave him information on whatever he looked at. Although, it was dependent upon many factors to display the correct data. Quickly returning to one of the tree routes, Naruto transformed into another Shinobi he had seen around the village. This time he took the appearance of a Jonin. Once he was in the library, the disguised blonde manoeuvred himself to the section that covered Genin knowledge about Chakra. The blonde left a clone with the one book that was relevant, leaving it there in the library to read until he finished the book. Naruto himself left the library and returned to his abode. During the training session, Naruto also created a simple storage seal to carry his book on him. His clones not only came back with the relevant things about strategy games, but also the Ink and Paper necessary to create seals.

In the book from his ancestor, Naruto read the skin was a better place for a seal to exist, because Chakra pulsated throughout the human body. Whilst paper was good for theorising a seal, it was best in practical application on skin. As such, Naruto had a plethora of Storage Seals on his left arm. The one closest to the shoulder housed his precious book about Fuinjutsu. The rest contained all the Shogi, Chess and other board games he bought today. Once the blonde had returned to his apartment, he quickly entered the bedroom, unsealed the Fuinjutsu book and got to reading. The blonde couldn't explain it. Maybe it was because the book was connected to his clan, or maybe he was just infatuated with Fuinjutsu, all Naruto wanted to do was to read the book all day long. It was just like that the blonde got absorbed in his book again, consuming all the knowledge in the book.

The young Genin kept going until his mind was unceremoniously filled with the memories of the clone he left in the library. The blonde quickly sorted through the memories, learning about the basics of Chakra, what it was comprised of, Chakra Natures and how Chakra Control affected you. The blonde briefly remembered Kakashi explaining something about Chakra Control and what it did in Wave, but he forgot it immediately, too busy competing with Sasuke.

"Man, that 10 INT stat really wasn't wrong before was it…" Naruto sulked to himself momentarily, a raincloud pattering his mood. Not a moment later did Naruto's stomach growl, snapping him out of the previous sulk fest. Looking at the clock in his room, he quickly dashed to the kitchen and began preparing some food, it was already 5pm, and the young genin was hungry beyond all belief. After making dinner, Naruto wanted to see what he could find out with his new Analyse skill. Engaging the skill, Naruto learned that food restored HP, as well as that, another window appeared in front of the blonde.

"Through repeated actions, you have created a new skill; Cooking!"

The Jinchuriki stared at the notification blankly, before dismissing it. Despite the use of Analyse, the blonde somehow forgot things like that could become skills, thanks to The System. Naruto quickly ate the delicious dinner, enjoying the meal before cleaning the dishes and returning to his room to read the Fuinjutsu book. When the blonde opened the book up, surprise and shock were evident on his face, finding that he was already on that last page of the book. Naruto felt a sadness in his heart, this was the first volume of the book, and he didn't know where the others were. Naruto read the last page with a glum heart, until he looked over the small message at the bottom of the page.

My descendent, if you are like myself and the rest of our clan, then you will probably have enjoyed your time reading this book. Fear not, the other volumes are all within your grasp.

Naruto read the message and eagerly noddednwhen the message said he enjoyed reading it, agreeing with his ancestor. Hope filled his eyes reading the last part of the message.

On the next blank page, there exists a concealed seal, that only us Uzumaki's can access. As we covered in this volume, I'm sure you know the kind of seals that are concealing it, and you also know what to do to reveal them. I will write to you again at the end of the next volume.

Naruto didn't hesitate for a second, slamming his palm onto the blank page, he channelled a small amount of chakra into the blank page, and appeared another thick black tome. This time, with golden text on the front that read. "Fuinjutsu Vol.2 – Inky Incisions". Naruto's eyes watered as he held another piece of his ancestry. A connection to his family.

"Thank you…" The blonde muttered smiling tears of happiness as he opened the book and delved into it.

The next five days were the same routine for the blonde, waking up, making breakfast, training, reading, learning Fuinjutsu. The volumes of Fuinjutsu only got bigger, but Naruto acquired a skill from the INT stat exceeding 50. A monumental accomplishment in both his, and the systems eyes. The skill was quite simply named, "Fast Reader" and it sped up the rate at which Naruto read and consumed literature. He also acquired a milestone skill entitled, "Big Brain" which allowed him to use more of his mental faculties efficiently. The blonde had read up to the fifth volume of the tomes, whilst his skill for Fuinjutsu had reached level 50. Naruto noticed that each volume increased his level in the skill by 10. The blonde also assumed with that information, that there were 10 volumes. Naruto couldn't help but feel excited by the prospect of learning it all. But at the same time Naruto felt a sense of fear and trepidation envelope him as he thought about finishing the volumes. He didn't want them to end. The Genin wanted to read them for eternity.

Today was the end of their week of rest, and Team 7 would be resuming their duties, training and doing missions. Naruto couldn't help but feel bored by this. This meant he had to put his mask back on. The blonde always felt like this, whenever he took it off, Naruto never wanted to go back to it. But he had to. And so, Naruto put on his Orange trousers and jacket and set off to Training ground 7. Even though Kakashi was always late, the blonde had to arrive early, it was what he had always done before. Naruto was thankful for his bulky clothing. It hid the results of his training remarkably well. Before, Naruto had the build of an average 12-year-old that kept in shape. But now, his muscles were becoming more pronounced. The blonde arrived at Training Ground 7, seeing his two teammates there already, Naruto fell into character.

"Oi! Sakura-Chan! It feels like since forever I've seen you!" Naruto hollered at maximum volume to his pink-haired teammate. The blonde held a large grin even as he saw Sakura flinch from the volume of his voice. The Genin came to a stop just in front of her, hands behind his head grinning away. Sakura could feel her temper flaring already.
"Shut up Naruto-Baka! God, I wish I hadn't seen your stupid face!" Sakura huffed in annoyance before turning around and swooning over Sasuke. Naruto laughed out loud before replying.
"Aw, don't be like that Sakura-Chan. I know! How about we go on a date!" Naruto grinned confidently as Sakura turned on her heel and looked Naruto with disgust.
"No way! I'd never go on a date with you! My heart beats only for Sasuke-kun!" Sakura immediately walked up to Sasuke and began to pester him whilst Naruto did the usual in this situation and pretended to sulk to himself.

Shortly the blonde would join back into the familiar banter that Team 7 had every morning. Two hours later, Elite Jonin, Hatake Kakashi entered the training field. To which, Sakura and Naruto both stood up and dashed over to him.
"YOU'RE LATE!" The pair of them screamed at the silver-haired man to which he placated them with a smile.

"Maa, maa, calm down you two. I was late because I ran into an old granny who needed help taking her groceries home, and she lived far away from the grocery store. Sorry it took so long."
"LIAR!" Naruto and Sakura replied without missing a beat. Kakashi couldn't help but feel a little bit happier today. It was only a week, but he missed his little Genins.

"Well, it's been a week since we last met, how are you all feeling?" This made Naruto and Sakura stop as Sasuke walked closer to them whilst Kakashi was talking. The Uchiha gave on his well-known replies, a haughty "hmph". Sakura gave a simply reply.
"Since Sasuke-kun is feeling good then I'll happily go along with him!" The pinkette had a shade of blush on her cheeks after that statement whilst Naruto replied with eagerness.
"Yeah! I'm ready to kick ass anytime!" Naruto showed off a foxy grin whilst putting his right arm on his left bicep.

Whilst Kakashi was looking over his Genin, Naruto discreetly used Analyse on the Jonin.

Name: Hatake Kakashi

Level: 111

Title: Kakashi of the Sharingan

Job: Shinobi of Konoha

HP: 50,000/50,000

Chakra Capacity: 750,000/750,000

Chakra Control: 88%

The rest of the mans information's was shrouded in question marks, but Naruto knew, undoubtedly, the lazy Jonin's stats were far above his own. The only thing that surprised Naruto was the fact that he had double Kakashi's chakra. But, the silver-haired man did make up for it with a large degree of Chakra Control. Kakashi then decided to clap his hands to get all their attention again as Sakura had started bugging Sasuke again.

"Alright, let's go over some of our team formations. Then we'll have a rematch of our time from the Bell Test." Kakashi smiled at his Genin squad. Sasuke looked sufficiently pissed off. He thought that after Wave, Kakashi would take their training seriously and train them with more useful things like with the Tree Walking in Wave. Sakura was just happy to be with Sasuke again, whilst Naruto looked somewhat miffed but decided not to say anything, instead opting to pout pathetically. And thus Team 7 ran through their team formations, some of them were a bit sloppy, but surprisingly, Naruto and Sasuke didn't seem to fight as much. Naruto himself, had never really cared for Sasuke all that much, but over the time they spent as a team, the blonde had begun to see Sasuke as one of his friends. The blonde was surprised when Sasuke didn't seem to start shit with him for no reason. Maybe that time in Wave really shook Sasuke up?

Once they were finished with team formations, they moved onto their other teamwork exercise of trying to take the bells from Kakashi again. Team 7 stood in front of Kakashi, Sasuke and Naruto both looking determined to succeed this time, whilst Sakura looked somewhat determined but scared.

"Alright you three. You have until 2pm to get these bells from me." Kakashi smiled at the Genin whilst he set the alarm clock down. The jonin set the alarm clock on its two-hour clock. "And Start!". Sasuke and Sakura both jumped into the forest whilst Naruto stood there, again. "Um, Naruto? Are we really going to do this again?" Naruto grinned at Kakashi with a fierce determination in his eyes.
"You and I both know Kakashi-sensei, that Sakura ain't gonna fight you, and that Bastard Sasuke likes to take things slow. I'll speed this all up and get all the information for us!" Naruto hollered as he set off towards Kakashi. Admittedly, Naruto himself was cutting it close with this, but he got the notification that his lie succeeded on three people, so the blonde set forth in combat.

"Hmm, it seems Naruto has matured somewhat…" Kakashi thought, his Icha-Icha still in hand. He hadn't expected Naruto to take the role of the scout for his team by going in and trying to get Sasuke out faster. It was clear to Kakashi, that Naruto wasn't acting with his own interests in sight, he was acting for the betterment of the team. Kakashi also didn't expect Naruto to have improved physically. So, he was surprised when Naruto broke off from his spot and appeared in front of him, almost instantly. "Was that the Shunshin!?" Kakashi thought as he haphazardly brought up a one arm defence. Naruto was in front of Kakashi, off the ground ready.

With his new speed, he brought down his leg in a dropping axe kick on Kakashi's arm. The silver haired Jonin, felt the power behind the kick as his arm screamed in pain. But Naruto wasn't done, unknown to Kakashi, during his Shunshin, the blonde genin had used the Shadow Clone Jutsu, as Kakashi held his arm up to block the boy, the clones moved in from the side. One of them, swept the Jonins feet from under causing him to fall to the ground. The clones didn't stop there, they all braced an arm on the ground, and all kicked Kakashi in the back forcing him into the air. Their assault didn't end there, the clones all jumped into air and repeated the same kicks forcing Kakashi higher and higher as they all chanted "U-Zu-Ma-Ki!". As the clones poofed out of existence due to completing their role, the real Naruto came from above with his fist cocked back and ready to deliver. Naruto punched Kakashi in the gut and sent him rocketing to the earth. "Naruto Barrage!"

The blonde landed on the ground, easily gaining his footing. As the smoke from the impact cleared, there was a log in the ground, showing the clear sign of a substitution. Naruto let out a growl of frustration, until he felt a Kunai at his neck.

"That was new, where'd you come up with that, Naruto?" Kakashi interrogated the young blonde in a calm voice. The silver haired Jonin noticed how similar the Jutsu was to something one of his friends used, The Primary Lotus. Naruto grinned, despite the dangerous weapon at his neck.
"I saw this guy with freaky big eyebrows doing it whilst he was training, I thought it was neat, so I added my own style to it!" Kakashi was about to respond until he felt the tip of a kunai dig into the back of his thigh. Looking over his shoulder, he saw another Naruto standing behind him.

"So, he saw Gai's student using The Lotus huh? That's some ingenuity if I've seen it. He really is an unpredictable Ninja. I'll have to ask Gai why he's teaching a Genin the Lotus the next time I see him." Kakashi smiled to himself as he substituted with another log. With that the two clones were left alone in the clearing. Naruto dismissed his clone before shouting into the trees.

"Oi! Sasuke you bastard! Get yer ass out here! You as well Sakura-Chan!" After a moment, the two appeared from the treeline walking over to Naruto. Before Sakura or Sasuke could say anything, Naruto spoke up again. "You two both saw that. Remember, this requires teamwork, we're gonna have to do something to get those bells." Whatever Sakura was going to say died down, this was a serious exercise, this was no time to let her temper get the better of her, even though Naruto was rude to Sasuke. Sasuke merely looked over Naruto with a critical eye. It was clear from that little fight Naruto had been training. Of course, Sasuke also trained during his week off.

"As much as I don't want to admit it, Naruto's right. We're gonna have to come up with a plan to get those bells." Sasuke spoke coolly, whilst Naruto was thankful today that the last Uchiha wasn't acting like a complete ass. Sakura nodded to what Sasuke said and they all got to planning.

Unfortunately, the trio of Team 7 were unable to get the bells, but they did prove to Kakashi, that they were taking their teamwork seriously, and the Jonin was thankful for it. Hopefully, this Team 7 wouldn't turn out like all the others. The Sharingan user was now taking his Genin team to the mission desk. Soon enough Team 7 walked into the missions' room and were greeted to the sight of The Third Hokage, along with some Chunin who were assigned to help during the afternoon.

"Ah, Greetings Kakashi and Team 7. How was your week off?" The Hokage looked over the Genins with the gentleness of a loving grandfather. Sasuke didn't bother responding whilst Sakura and Naruto did.

"Ah, Hokage-Sama, it was very helpful!" Sakura bowed to their village leader, the aged Hokage knew that Sakura was the only one who attended the counsel offered, whilst Naruto and Sasuke didn't. The girl was clearly shaken up from the last mission, as she did in fact take her first life.
"Eh, it was pretty boring Gramps, when's our next big mission!?" Naruto asked with enthusiasm which got him a swat on the head from Sakura.
"Baka! Show some respect to Hokage-Sama!"
"Ehh? No thanks, that's too much of a hassle."

The Hokage chuckled at the antics of Team 7 whilst Sakura bowed her head in apology.
"I'm sorry for this Hokage-sama, Naruto doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut sometimes!" The pink haired girl bowed frantically.
"Ah, it's of no consequence Sakura, I've known Naruto ever since he was a small boy, it's one of the few things this Old Man welcomes happily." Naruto grinned at the Hokage, although it wasn't one of his usual wide faced grins, it was a small sincere one. Sakura looked between the two with a dusting of blush on her cheeks. She had no idea that Naruto had known the Hokage for that long. But she still found his lack of respect something to be embarrassed about.

"And Naruto, to answer your question. You'll have to ask Kakashi, he oversees whether your squad takes another C-Rank mission. Are you sure want another one after what happened on your last one?" The Hokage posed the young genins a question. Usually, after a squads first C-Rank mission, or after their first blood, was when it truly showed if they were fit to be Shinobi. The Hokage was happy to see that even, Sakura was determined to take another one. Both Naruto and Sasuke's eyes were burning with motivation that could combust into a raging inferno.

"Truly, the Will of Fire burns as mighty as ever…" Hiruzen thought idly.

"Course we're ready Gramps! Team 7 ain't afraid to take risks. Besides! I can't be the Hokage if I'm afraid of taking little C-Ranks!" Naruto spoke with a fierce grin on his face. The other two Genin agreed with Naruto's speech. Hiruzen looked at Naruto with a loving eye. Truly, Hiruzen wished he could have done more for the boy growing up. Right in front of him, Naruto was shaping up to be a man that anyone in Konoha could be proud of.

"Then, I hope you'll take this hat off me soon Naruto." Hiruzen smiled at the blonde, who gave him a thumbs up in return.
"Yeah! I'll be Hokage before you know it!" The mood was dampened by Kakashi speaking up.
"Well Hokage-Sama, I was thinking for their return Team 7 could do some D-Ranks." Hiruzen chuckled whilst the rest of Team 7 wished Kakashi landed on rusty nails. After receiving their mission, Team 7 headed out before Naruto stopped, causing Team 7 to stop as well.

"Hey Gramps, is it possible for me to take some Missions outside of Team Activity?" Naruto's question caught the Hokage and Kakashi by surprise, whilst Sakura thought the blonde was just trying to 1-up Sasuke by doing more missions than him.
"Well yes, but most Genins are exhausted after their day of team activities, so we dissuade them from doing it, which also applies to you Naruto." Naruto looked at the Hokage like he was an idiot.
"No, it doesn't." The Hokage looked at Naruto with an amused smile, whilst his team were now shocked at his brazen attitude to the Hokage, even Kakashi was shocked.

"And how does it not, Naruto?" The Hokage always enjoyed talking with Naruto, the boy always had something to say to make things fun.
"Well, on the week off, I learned a new Taijutsu move." Kakashi felt a phantom pain on his back from all the kicks he received earlier. "And like, it hurts my legs to do it, but when my shadow clones did it and dispelled, I didn't get any of that usual pain that came with it… So like, uh…" Naruto scratched his head, trying to think of what to say. Naruto clicked his fingers, in a show of "Eureka!". "So, I made sure, and Shadow Clones don't transfer physical pain or fatigue! I can take a bunch of Missions and have my clones do them!" Naruto put his fists on his hips triumphantly, grinning proudly. Kakashi himself was surprised that Naruto figured that out about Shadow Clones, considering he hadn't found out the other intended use for them.

The Hokage looked over Naruto, clearly the blonde didn't know about the Memory Transfer function of the clones. Hiruzen assumed that this would probably show the blonde that function as well. Exhaling into a joyous laugh, The Professor looked at Naruto with a lopsided grin of his own.
"Very well, Naruto, you can start taking solo D-Ranks. I must ask, why the sudden interest in taking more missions." Naruto looked at the aged Hokage, debating whether to lie or not. Mask or not, Naruto loved The Hokage like a grandfather, so deciding not to lie, Naruto gave him the truth.
"Cuz, I wanna move out of my apartment into a new one! Ukki needs more sunlight than what mine gets!" Naruto crossed his arms as his face twisted into that of annoyance. Only Kakashi and Hiruzen knew that Ukki was Naruto's plant that he kept in his apartment. With that, Hiruzen sent Team 7 off to their first returning D-Rank.
