Beads of sweat slowly tickle my upper cheek.

The beat of my heart pounds nervously, as my throat begins to feel like sandpaper.

If I could see my pupils in this moment, I know the dark dots would be engulfed by the seas of green surrounding them as they frantically scan around.

Worst of all are the thoughts of impending doom racing through my mind relentlessly.

I am truly not ready for what is to come; but the world cares not.

With each second passing, an eternity and a half also passes.

As the end of my world as I know it approaches, I both dread and anxiously anticipate what is to come.

My experience feels as if it is from the third-person and I am merely spectating myself. Oh, how I wished that were true.

The countdown menacingly approaches zero all too quickly.

This isn't real, it can't be real.

What did I do to deserve this?

If I could erase any and all wrongdoings in my life and start over I would do it in a heartbeat to escape this hell.

...my demise is awaiting me and it would be rude to keep it waiting.

I can't remember much the final minute of my life, but if I could I'm not sure if I would want to.

Within a matter of sixty seconds fear became reality and I've found myself lying on the ground with a knife plunged into my abdomen and crimson quickly leaking out of me.

Screams and various sounds of violence fill the air, but it's all white noise to me. All I hear is silence and my final memories of home. Then as my eyes close a cannon sounding shakes my limp body and a blinding light appears.

BOOM!
