Sonya Blade along with her daughter Cassie Cage were having a good time, whom had not seen eachother for some time. Cassie was preparing her make up as she had to make a visit to katana's house. The young cage had not seen kitana for quite some time,hence the effort to impress her by washing herself and attempting to perfect her makeup.

Whilst distracted with her gaze in the mirror admiring herself a knock was heard from the door behind her.

It was none other than her mother miss blade coming to check on her

"You done in their yet Cas?" Hear voice muffled from behind the door yet still clear enough to be heard the young teenage blond peaked her head over her shoulder to reply to the sudden voice

"Yea sure,give me a sec" she said with a rather snarky tone continuing to perfect her makeup

The elder blade shrugged her shoulders from behind the wooden door and returned to the lower floor

After the young blonde had finished her makeover she followed in making her way down also seeing sonya in the kitchen completing the dish washing

"Ah,your done?" She asked rhetorically drying her hands on on the towel beside her as she turned to face the daughter she had birthed little over 18 years ago

She smirked back cheekily at her mother as she made her way closer to her "you bet!"

She took a seat by the kitchen table as the blade came over plopping down a bag right in-front of her

"Could you deliver this to kitana for me please?" The mother asked with a polite tone

The young teen crossed her arms leaning back in her chair letting out a big groan

"Ugghhh,but mom i planned to meet with jacqui today,we were going to the mall" she glared at her mother with frustration

The mother rolled her eyes back letting out a sigh

"-well...you could drop this bag of real quick and then go and meet your friend?" She added feeling like she didn't even have to

The teen groaned back in disapproval,it was very obvious she was just lazy and wanted to get out of doing any sort of chore but without having any sort of counter argument she conceded

She sighed before saying "ugh,fine i'll do it" she got up from her chair and began to stretch as she shot the bag over her shoulder as she made the way for the house's exit

"You do remember where kitana's house is right?" Sonya called to her daughter as she made her leave

"Yes mom" she groaned back slamming the down behind her as she left the house

She made her the usual route she would normally use to kitana's house she finally reached into her pocket for her phone and sent a message to kitana to make sure she knew she was coming

As she looked threw her phone to find the contact she began to think to her self 'when even was the last time we spoke to one another?"

Neither of them had even seen each other in mouths yet along spoke a word to one another,wouldn't it be awkward to just show up to her house all a sudden.

She finally found her phone and began to write out a message starting to feel nerves coming over her but why? Kitana was just a friend she knew,not even a friend more like a friendly aqqutance after getting these dumb thoughts out of her head she finally wrote out the message she wanted to

"Hey kit,its me cassie,just coming to your house to drop off some things my mom wanted to give to you" she wrote out clicking send before she gave herself time to reconsider

She then put her phone back in her pocket and continued to walk down the long path

After what seemed like hours of walking she had finally made it to kitana's

"Ugh,i should really consider learning to drive" cage groaned feeling the pains in her joints from all of the walking.

Making her way to the front door of kitana's she banged her fist down on the reinforced wooden door to get the blue ninjas attention

Kitana hearing the sound and expecting her arrival lunged at the door excitedly anticipating her old friends appearance

"CASSIE!!" She immediately slammed the door open pulling the cage into a very quick and unexpected hug

She felt her breasts pressed against the one she barely even considered a friend aleast to her knowledge for quite some time until she finally pulled back from the long hug

"Whoa,somebody's happy to see me" the blonde teen chuckled looking toward the blacky brown haired lady as she smiled back warmly for once not wearing her trait mask

"I mean yea,its amazing to see you again!" She cheered looking at her and then down at the back she was carrying

"Why dont you come on in!?" She insisted throwing her arms over her shoulder signalling to the inner holds of her home

The young cage expecting it to be a simple drop of mission was caught off guard by the ninjas sudden offer of hospitality,but then again they are known for their surprise attacks so this really shouldn't become a shock to her.

After thinking it over briefly in her head she shrugged her shoulders following the ninja into her house with a 'fuck it why not' sort of notion

Cassie followed behind kitana as she led her guest into the living room. As she followed behind the long haired brunette she couldn't help but stare down at her ass that wasn't as visible as usual but definitely visible nether the less.

They finally made their way out of the hallway and finally sat down at their perceptive sofa's as kitana reached for the remote from the coffee table to turn the tv on for background absence

"So,how have you been over these past few mouths cas?" She finally moved her gaze over to the young lass as she returned the gaze

"Honestly,meh had some highs and lows to be completely honest with you kit" she shrugged her shoulders like it was nothing but kitana could definitely sense some had been or maybe still was troubling her,but she choice not to pry and shrugged with her

"Ahh,ok then" she returned a soft smile looking down again at the coffee table before returning to her

"Would you possibly like a drink cas?" She offered politey

Cage never gave a verbal response she simply nodded to the offer

The ninja quietly nodded back in acknowledgement as she pushed her self up from off the sofa and made her way in to the kitchen

Cassie's prevy eyes again glanced at kitana's admittedly attractive behind even for a supposed straight girl like herself,she just could not help herself from giving it a quick look whenever she got the chance

After a few minutes cassie had fmade herself at home and comfortable when kitana returned with drinks for the both of them glasses of orange juice to be exact

"I see you've gotten comfortable" she chuckled leaning over to place the drinks down on the table before sitting down herself

"You could say that" she said softly as she felt herself sinking into the sofa

"So,how was your last mission?"

The ninja asked curious about cassie's mittary work,ever since getting training from both her mother and father she has both loved and hated her involvement in the army from a young age

"Oh you know?,same old same old" she just lifted her shoulders clearly having no interest in the subject

Kitana didn't proceed to ask any further as she could tell the topic did not amuse her. She reached from behind the coach to then pull out a bowl of cookies. She then placed them on the table and looked over again at the blond

"Would you like one?" She offered with a peaceful tone

"Whatcha tryna do? Fatten me up and eat me?" She said again laughing quite heartfully as she then grabbed a few cookies within her hand and began to eat them

"Maybe i am" joking back giggling a little under her breath

After serval hours of talking to one another catching up on the adventures of one another they missed they both took a gander out the window and realised it was dark out

"Oh shit,jacqui I completely forgot" cassie faceplammed her head firmly as she had completely forgot about their meetup and stood her up without even noticing given how into their conversation she got

"What happened dear?" The obvious brunette questioned

"Oh,well...i was supposed to meet a friend today...but as i got so much into talking to you I completely forgot" she rubbed the back of her head nervously

"Oh...i see" kitana ultimately felt a level of remorse and regret as she was of partial blame for cassie to completely miss the arrangement she had planned as she did distract all,however at the same time she had no way of knowing she had other plans if she did however she would of reacted differently

Cage began to look over at the ninja and began to notice that she was of course beating herself up and blaming herself for such events and she quickly got up from her sofa and sat next to the ninja on her own wrapping her arm around her

"Hey,kit...it wasn't your fault ok...i should of been more aware of the time" cassie assured her newly found friend that she was not at fault about the day's circumstances. Infact she was honestly glad she got to spend the day with such an awesome person,altho she was not going to admit that so boldly

"I suppose your right cass" she shrugged rubbing her face as she felt tears beginning to well up in her eyes

"You sure your ok kitana?" Cass started to detect her friends low mood and sensitivity of guilt the ninja slowly moved her head up from her arms and gave the blond a solemn but confident look eventually urging a small smile as she looked back down at her hands

She pulled her closer known she needed comfort at a time like this,it was becoming more apparent that ruining a meet up with a friend was obviously not the only thing that was troubling her

"Hey kitana,talk to me...what's worrying that little head of yours?" She said as she moved her hand from the arm around her shoulder and neck to over her had as she began to stroke her softly

"Well..." she paused to then eventually turn to her as she sighed

She hesitated to even say what she was about to but after stewing over it for awhile she decided it would be not only easier but more beneficial to just tell her

"Well i..i have just been very lonely as of late..." she finally mustered up the courage to say

Cage raised an eyebrow aroused with confusion by the statement

"How so kit?" Asking with anticipating the answer

"Well,as you just said...you have aleast one friend you must meet up with aleast somewhat regularly right?" She turned her head towards the younger cage as she asked this the cage looking over at the tv in the distance before looking back at her to respond to the question

"Well,i...i mean...sometimes...yea I suppose" she didn't really know what to say...as alot of her life she always did have a healthy group of friends so she never really knew what it was like to feel alone

She returned her gaze to the ninja waiting for her response. The room went quite for what felt like minutes before she finally spoke

"Well...with my mother being dead...and my father being...well

You know...I didn't exactly have the most loving childhood grouping up..." she sighed looking into the night sky threw the window cassie looking onward with her almost following her eyes

"My sister milleena,wasn't exactly the nicest to me growing up either...and as for friends...i've never really had any.." she then looked down at her hands nervously trying to avoid eye contact cassie noticed this and tried to respect her distance by backing away alittle

"Oh...well...i could imagine that being very difficult for you" she said...with little meaning but she had no idea what else she could say or even began to imagine how hard it could be to grow up in her house hold or what life would be like in her shoes

Sure her parents went threw a breakup,but ultimately things where still largely the same for her so she had no idea how she could relate to the ninja

"I-i-im sorry kit" she said sighing as she put her arm around her once more pulling her close knowing that she needed comfort

"Its...ok" she tried to assure her beginning to rest her head on cassie's shoulder

The cocky blond smiled to see that kitana had calmed or confined in her just alittle she glanced over at the tv again as the room fell slient

After she had zoned back into the room she had noticed the female ninja had finally fell asleep on her shoulder. She thought about trying to move her or wake her up but after consideration she decided to just let her sleep there and continued to watch tv until she fell asleep
