Part 20 Fighting Jirachi!

This chapter will be in Jordon's point of view.

Last time on Pokémon Mystery Dungeon ZB, our heroes had finally made it to Lively Town! They made their way to the Expedition Society, and after saving them from hunger, they were allowed to join! Now full fledged members, they have to face even more danger. In fact, today is the such first instance. Find out, now.

The next morning, Lucia and I woke up early. "Why did we wake up early today, sweetie?" Lucia asked me.
"To pick our team name." I told her.
"Why did we have to wake up this early for that?" Lucia asked me still.
"First of all, it's only thirty minutes until the sun rises, and secondly, it's to get that out of the way. Now then, any suggestions?" I asked her.
"How about Team AuraFighters?" she asked me.
"I like it! All right, that's our team name from now on! Watch out world! For Team AuraFighters is ready to take your challenges on!" I yelled.
Lucia then smiled and then kissed me. "And that's one of the reasons why I love you." she told me.

Later when everyone met up, we gathered on the second floor. And then, "Oh yeah! Didn't the Pokémon Nexus get wrecked yesterday?" I asked.
"I see. And so it has been destroyed again. Well, well, well." Ampharos then said.
"Wha-?! Again?!" Lucia asked him.
"Yesterday isn't the first time the Pokémon Nexus has been smashed. To tell the truth, it actually happens all the time..." Buizel then told us.
"What?! Really?!" Lucia asked him.
"Unfortunately yes." Kaiden told us.
"From what I saw yesterday, I can imagine..." I then said.
"Man... all my hard work down the drain again... it was looking pretty good this time, too..." Archen said.
"It'll be even better next time, Archen." Jennifer told him.
"That's right! We'll have Jirachi repair the Pokémon Nexus for us again. Once it has been fixed, let's continue with our mapmaking." Ampharos then said.
"Who was it that was going to try going after Archen again?" Dedenne then asked.
"Hmm... yeah, whose turn was it? I guess I forgot the order..." Bunnelby then said.
"Let's reconsider that after the Nexus has been fixed. But first! I must give official Expedition Society goods to our new recruits." Ampharos then said as he then gave us a new bag, some badges, some gadgets, and a Connection Orb.
He then explained how it all worked and after everyone was dismissed, he asked us to go and wake up Jirarchi.

When we got to Jirarchi's room, Lucia said, "Whoa!"
She was looking around the room, and I could see why. It was an observatory. "This place is amazing! What could this room be used for?" Lucia then asked me.
"It's used to look at the stars." I told her.
"That's so cool!" she then told me.
Lucia then looked around the room and then said to me, "Oh, Jordon! Over there! There's a Pokémon just floating there sleeping... maybe that's Jirachi!"
"Yeah... you got me... ugh... I'm Jirachi..." Jirachi then told us.
"I knew it!" Lucia then said.
"Okay, rise and shine! Ampharos wants to see you!" I told him.
"Yeah? Okay... but I'm still far too sleepy to deal with all that right. Sorry..." Jirachi then told us.
"Huh?" Lucia asked him.
"One more thing... I apparently toss and turn a lot while I'm sleeping... so if you two are standing right there... I might just up and attack you... if I do, sorry..." Jirachi then told us.
"WAIT, WHAT?!" I asked him.
"Here I go." Jirachi then told us.

I still can't believe that we had to fight Jirachi. Lucia said.

You and me both. Jordon said.

Jirachi started by using Swift, which we both dodged. And then he threw me into a wall using his Psychic. "Ow. Looks like I can't hold back." I said as I then went Super Saiyan God.
After seeing Lucia barely counter his Confusion with a Kamehameha, I had an idea. "Lucia! Let's fire our Kamehameha waves together!" I told her.
"Right!" she replied.
And then we stood next to each other and said, "Ka...Me...Ha...Me...Ha!"
As we then let the attack fly, it hit him. But did no damage to him. "How are we going to beat him?" Lucia asked me.
'Arceus! There must be a way! Wait a minute, Fusion! Of course!' I thought to myself.
I then dropped out of Super Saiyan God and told Lucia, "Lucia! We have to fuse!"
"Fine." she then told me.
And then we did the fusion dance while also saying, "Fu...Sion...Ha!"
And after that, a new Riolu appeared and said, "I am neither Jordon nor Lucia! I am the one who will defeat you! I am Jordcia!"
And so me, or should I say Jordcia, fired a Kamehameha at full power. And we not only defused, but we also defeated Jirachi. And then the room started to shake. "Whoa! Just what?! What's going to wake up?!" Lucia asked.
And then Jirachi started to glow and he then woke up and said, "Whoa! Hey now! My eyes are wide open! I woke up from that dream so suddenly!"
He then noticed us and asked us, "Huh? Who are you two? I just saw you in my dream! In my dream you two were... engaged in a heroic battle. At least I think so. Whoa! That's so strange... the Pokémon I just saw in my dream are standing here right in front of me. Wait a minute. Are you two... fairies?"
"Do I look like a fairy to you?!" I asked back.
"N-no! We're not fairies! I'm Lucia, and this is Jordon! We joined the Expedition Society yesterday!" Lucia told him.
"The Expedition Society...? Oh! Are you saying you're new recruits?" Jirachi asked her.
"Yeah! Ampharos told us to come wake you up." I told him.
"I see! You should've said something sooner! Very well, as is my custom, allow me to introduce myself!" he told us as he then went through his introduction.
"I do get sleepy pretty quickly, though, so I can't just keep observing all the time. So if you don't mind, I'll be going back to sleep now. Good night!" Jirachi told us as he was falling asleep again.
"OH NO YOU DON'T!" I told him as me and Lucia woke him up again.

Later, "I see. Broken again, is it? Well, it's just a little broken... understood. I'll fix it by tomorrow. I'm a genius, after all." Jirachi told Ampharos.
"Please do." he told Jirachi back.
"Very well then! As for you two... Huh? You both seem to be sweating rather profusely. It's as if you had just engaged in a pitched boss battle..." Ampharos then told us.
"He's right. You okay?" Jirachi then asked us.
"Y-yeah. Don't worry about us. We're okay." Lucia told them.
'Jirachi really doesn't remember anything...' I thought to myself.
"I see. I would like you two to get started with your Expedition Society work right away." Ampharos told us.
"All right!" Lucia said.
"You two will find Pokémon in distress and help them." Ampharos told us.
"Got it!" I told him.
