Sorry for the lack of response on this rewrite. I had this chapter already written for a long-ass time as we have previously seen, however I wanted to wait until I had chapter 2 written before I made a new story. Well Chs 1&2 have been completed, and so now I bring the updated story out to the public. Here we go!

In the Johto Region, deep within the headquarters of the Pokemon G-men, more specifically, in the holding cells, we see a bipedal orange mouse inside a locked cell with a frown on his face. Raichu cracked his wrists before he looked at his tail with a smirk.

'Ah Lance you stupid little fool. Your about to have a nasty surprise when you discover that I had picked the lock to my cell and escaped.' Raichu thought to himself.

Raichu's tail was too flimsy by itself to properly pick a lock, so he had to take a few weeks to teach himself Iron Tail. It might have taken time, but being incarcerated meant that time was something he had plenty of. Raichu swiftly looked both ways to check to see if the coast was clear before frowning in concentration as he primed Iron Tail and stuck it inside the lock, working his magic, and was rewarded with an audible click.

A cruel smile stretched its way across the mouses face as the cell unlocked and slid open with a clang. He stepped outside his cell before scurrying down the hall, scanning his surroundings as he moved before quickly banking a left…right into a guard!

Raichu moved before the guard had time to react, lunging forward and pinning the the man to the wall, his very sharp tail pressed against the poor victim's throat. An evil smile was released as he spoke to the guard in English:

"Well if it isn't Jeffery Davis, I need a real favor from you."

The guard gulped before attempting to steel his nerves: "Go fuck yourself you little psycho." Too bad for him that Raichu could see that this poor fucker was moment away from pissing himself in unbridled terror. The mouse sighed dramatically, a response already on his tongue:

"Psycho? Oh Jeffy boy. That hurts. It truly does. Probably not as much as a sharp tail being used as a spear, but it hurts none the less. Fortunately for you however, I am willing to look past this...insult to my honor in exchange for your...cooperation."

Jeffrey began to shake in terror, and although Raichu could see the sweat on his brow, the man shook his head and spoke with a snarl:

"I'd never help you escape."

Raichu's eyes lit up with malice as he began to laugh cruelly:

"Oh you stupid little human...who said I wanted the exit?"

Jeffrey gulped down the saliva caught in his mouth as he decided to proceed with caution:

"Then...what is it your after?"

Raichu smirked condescendingly at the terrified human:

"I want the records room stupid. After all, there is no point in escaping this cesspool of a prison if I don't know where to go."

Jeffery scowled at the psychotic mouse"Now why, would I tell you that?!" Raichu smiled. Gotcha Bitch:

"Tell me, how's dear wifey doing? Last I heard, you guys moved to Ecruteak City. God that must have been difficult with her being what...eight months pregnant now? You know, I can easily assist her in childbirth, although it will be quite the messy process; and while I can try to make it a quick and painless, I have found that taking my time and going slow will yield better results." Jeffery's eyes widened in horror, tears leaking from his eyes before he spoke defeated;

"Take the next hall. It's the third door on the right. Just...don't hurt my wife."

Raichu grinned coldly before he stabbed the guard in the throat with his tail. As the guard gurgled on his own blood, Raichu grinned menacingly as he spoke; "You have my word I won't touch your useless wife. I don't wanna make your kid an orphan after all. I'm not totally heartless."

With a laugh, the mouse moved past the guard and followed his advice before reaching his destination. He grinned before plopping himself down on the seat and quickly logging into the computer, skimming through all the files before finding the one called "Potential Recruits". Raichu quickly pulled that file before opening it and glancing at the names with disinterest before he found the particular name he was looking for. He clicked on that file and found the info he wanted. Raichu's eyes narrowed as a sinister smile stretched across his face. "It seems like a nice time of year to go up north."

Raichu smirked coldly before he quickly printed the document he was on. As soon as the document finished printing, the lights went red as an alarm sounded through the base. A female voice spoke on the intercom;

"Warning, Warning. Inmate #183821 has escaped. I repeat, Inmate #183821 has escaped."

Raichu narrowed his eyes. It was time to go. He quickly grabbed the document before immediately fleeing the room. He scurried down the hall as fast as he could go.

"THERE HE IS, SHOOT HIM! SHOOT THE BASTARD NOW!"

Raichu immediately lunged into a roll to dodge the incoming fire of Pokemon attacks. He used quick attack to zip up to an armed guard before using Iron Tail to cut his head off. He then quickly formed an Electro Ball between his palms before firing it at the corpse, blasting it halfway across the hallway. Raichu immediately took off, scurrying away from the guards.

Lance growled as he made his way through the base, his Dragonite behind him, he looked at the warden and he spoke in a commanding tone; "What happened here?" The warden frowned before speaking;

"It was Raichu; he escaped his cell and killed Davis. We still believe he's in the base sir." Lance narrowed his eyes as he spoke;

"Find him, NOW! That psycho cannot be allowed to escape from here!" The warden nodded before his communicator went off;

"We got him cornered. He's in the shower room." The warden grinned as he spoke;

"Perfect, there's no other way out of there."

Lance was silent until they arrived to the showers, where they saw a hole in the center of the shower room, with a manhole cover thrown carelessly aside. Lance looked at the guard with a raised eyebrow as he spoke; "You were saying."

The warden frowned before looking down the hole as he spoke the guards; "All of you, go down after him, take your Arcanine's and find him now."

"Don't bother."

The warden turned towards Lance, as the Johto champion and leader of the G-men continued to speak; "That sewer grate is right in the center of the whole piping system. It connects to hundreds, if not thousands of different tunnels all across the entire region of Johto, you won't possibly be able to guess which one he went into. And with all the sewer water, the Arcanine force won't be able to properly track him. That fucker is long gone."

Lance turned and walked towards the record room as he spoke; "However, the cameras show that he went for the record room instead of the exit. What I want to know is why? Maybe it has evidence of where he might go so we can try to head him off."

When they arrived in the records room, Lance sat down at the computer and checked the history. Lance browsed about for a bit, before a file on a trainer came up. Lance frowned before he clicked the file, and a picture of a 13 year old boy came up. The boy had a Pikachu on his shoulder. Lance narrowed his eyes. He spoke:

"Well now it's almost obvious in hindsight. Why didn't I think of this? Of course he would try to hunt him down." Lance continued to glance at the file before he spoke;

"It says here that he's currently in the Sinnoh region." Lance nodded to himself before he pulled up his X-transceiver and dialed a number in his contacts. Professor Oak picked up the phone and smiled as he spoke;

"Ah Lance. What can I do for you my old friend?" Lance sighed as he spoke;

"Do you know how I can get into contact with Ash Ketchum? He might have a problem on his hands."
