Always and Forever:

After moving away to get her life together, Bella is back for her fathers wedding. She is happier than she has ever been, but she misses her home: her hybrid and her new family. Afraid of being hurt and broken she now has to deal with the added stress of her old life meeting her new one.

I don't know if this will follow the TVD storyline, but it will eventually have all the characters. The chapter is set after the the death of Mikael, but before the awakening of Esther. In this story, the Mikaelson's were woken up by Klaus, himself, due to him finally ridding the threat that was their father. Twilights timeline is wack! It will be set five years after the infamous breakup and she will be 22, because her birthday has not been celebrated in the year it is set.

I do not own The Vampire Diaries or Twilight. Vampire Diaries belongs to L.J Smith, Julie Plec, or Kevin Williamson and everyone else involved! Twilight belongs to Stephanie Meyer and everyone else involved with the films and books. This is for fun and no copyright infringement is intended!

Please leave a review after you're done with this chapter! In this I also wanted to apologize for the long wait, I have been quite busy in life. Things that have been taken out of my control and things that have led to my motivation going down slightly. I will be writing more now, since I have gotten some inspiration, but my updates won't be as consistent as they used to be! I do apologize to those who have been worried or impatient about the chapter, I never wanted my break to be this long!

I'm too sad to cry, too high to get up
Don't even try 'cause I'm scared to fuck up
Don't like to talk, I just lay in my bed
Don't even try to go out with my friends
Lied to my doctor, she knew I was fakin'
Gave me some pills, but I'm too scared to take 'em
I try and I try, but I'm too sad to cry

"Get on with it, witch," Niklaus grinned as he looked on from his spot near the door. He sat upright, authoritative yet lax. His eyes were trained on the witch, but anyone who knew him could see the protection he sought out for himself in case the meeting room a dangerous turn.

"We have been notified that you have brought another human into this world in terms changing them into an Original," the woman stated, her cold tone making Niklaus' eyes flash.

"I do hope you didn't request our presence for such trivial matters," the man behind Niklaus sighed. "One more of us isn't going to kill anymore than Kol has in the last century."

"You are messing with the natural balance of things, Mikaelson," the witch growled out. "We will stop it from happening. Whether it be your death or hers. There will only be 4 Original vampires."

"I do hope you're not threatening us, Mary. You know of the power we hold," Elijah's tone shifted from the earlier calm to now threatening.

"Your power will ruin the natural order of all things on this plane!" The young girl next to the older woman shouted.

"Kol!" Elijah exclaimed, seeing the younger Mikaelson's' hands around the girls throat.

"Be quiet Elijah!" Kol growled out. He turned to the young girl with a menacing look. "You be quiet as well, darling. Last I heard, pretty little things like you can die from such heavy words."

"Let go of her," the elder witch hissed. Kol seemed to be thoughtful for a second before he went to snap her neck. He didn't get there as the woman flipped her wrist and a dagger came hurling towards him, faster than Niklaus or Elijah. Neither could stop her as their brother fell to the ground.

"Be careful, vampires. The witches are on every corner," the woman muttered amused as she finally walked away. The teenager following her. •

Bella looked around the room she had woken up in, confusion scarring her face.

"Isabella?" Niklaus' voice, from the door, made her look at him, before realisation hit her.

"When did you get back?" She remembered waiting for them the night before, but she had fallen asleep long before they had arrived. He must have carried her to their room.

"At midnight, it took us longer than necessary to get everything sorted."

"Did everything go well?"

"The witches have no desire for another Original Vampire, I assume they have forgotten Finn's death. You will be a mere replacement in the natural order," the roll of his eyes made her giggle. She stood up from the bed, greeting him with a kiss as she wrapped her arms around him.

"How was your friend?" Niklaus finally broke the silence that surrounded them.

"She's really good, I missed her," Bella smiled. "I missed you too, you know?"

"I know, sweetheart." He kissed her once more, this time not breaking away until she had to breath. "There's some breakfast waiting for you downstairs. Elijah and I have some business in Seattle again, Kol will be keeping you company."

"Why Kol? Rebekah is here as well..."

"Rebekah went to go find something for us and Kol needs to rest. He was hit with a stake last night."

"Is he ok?" Bella asked a panicked look marring her face.

"He should be now, but we'd rather not take any chances with these witches."

"Meaning you want me to guilt trip him into staying here with me?" She asked.

Bella knew after Kol's near death experience, Niklaus had grown afraid of his younger brother's death. His hatred for Elena Gilbert and Bonnie Bennett was evident, but his worry for his brother overpowered that. It was the only reason, they had moved. Niklaus wanted to free his family of trouble for a while. Bella knew he wanted to find a possible solution to ridding the world of White Oak.

"Something like that," he winked. "Elijah and I will be leaving now, we'll try to get back before dinner."

"I love you," she told him as he gave her one last kiss.

"And I you," he kissed her forehead as he left their room.

Bella went to find Kol once she was refreshed for the day. She found him in the living room, staring off into the tv, which wasn't even playing.

"You ok?" Bella asked, wrapping an arm around him as she sat down next to him. He took a hold of her hand, as if the lack of contact would make her disappear.

"Kol?"

"Do you ever wonder what would have happened if they had been successful? If I had died that night?"

"I have nightmares every now and then," Bella half shrugged. "But I think about it more often than I should. Each and every time I think about it... I... I forget that you're not actually gone and it frightens me how dependent I am of your presence."

"Isa..." his sigh made her blink her tears away.

"Yes, that night could have gone badly, but it didn't. Im just glad you're not dead and so are your siblings," at his snort, she turned towards him. "No matter what you may think, I talk to your siblings far too much for me not to notice. They care about you, Kol. I know it's hard to believe considering everything that happened in the last millennium, but they truly do. Why do you think Niklaus wouldn't let you go today?"

"Being staked yesterday, knowing that I was vulnerable enough for death again... it reminded me about that night. If Nik hadn't gotten there..." Kol trailed off and Bella softened her face. She knew he had held in his fear for so long and she couldn't help but feel bad about that.

She took his hand in hers and kissed the back of it, leaning against him. She felt his arms go around her, tightening around her for his comfort.

They remained there for quite a while, neither one wanting to pull away. Bella could feel Kol's breath on her head as he thought about everything.

She eventually did move and picked up the book resting on the coffee table. She went back into her position next to Kol as he started the tv.

They fell back into their comfortable silence as he read the book over her shoulder.

Bella looked up as the door slammed open. Her eyes wide in alertness, before calming at the presence of the two Mikaelson's. Kol barely moved an inch from beneath her, but she noticed he had opened his eyes.

"How was it?" Bella asked.

"The witches have agreed to let us turn you, but they want a weapon to make sure you can still be killed if proven to be...volatile," Elijah explained with a sigh.

"Absolutely not," Kol hissed out.

"We agreed to their deal of having something to... contain you if you get out of hand. They don't seem to understand that the containment involves our bedroom and myself," Niklaus smirked as he sat down at Bella's feet. She moved away from Kol to rest next to her love.

"You didn't," Bella sighed as she realised what he said.

"By the time you are changed, there will be no alternative," Niklaus replied. Bella rolled her eyes, but still kissed him back when he learnt down. His tongue swiped at her bottom lip, making her open her mouth at his request. She bit back her breathy moan when she felt him nip her lip. When she pulled away she noticed the two other Mikaelson's had left the room to provide the couple some space.

"You did that on purpose," she muttered against his lips.

"I'm not sure I know what you mean, love," he replied with a small smirk on his face. She rolled her eyes as she kissed him again, moving into a more comfortable position on his lap. He gripped her thighs as they rested on either side of him.

"I've missed you the last couple of days," he hissed out as she pulled back to breath again. She didn't reply as she continued kissing down his jaw and then down his neck. She couldn't help but take time at the place her mark would eventually rest.

She knew it was a pleasure point for Niklaus, as he knew what that place meant for both of them. She could feel his response against her thigh as she continued to suck at his neck, finally pulling away to admire the little spot on his neck. She knew it would disappear eventually, but it would last longer since she had been the one to give it to him.

"You get quite the pleasure from doing that don't you?" Niklaus hummed as he brought her lips back to his.

"I'm not sure what you mean, Nik," she breathed out, grounding against him lightly. "But you don't seem to hate it."

"I couldn't hate anything you did to me, darling," with that his lips crashed onto hers and she bit back her moan when she felt his hand play with the skin under her shirt.

She went to take her shirt off when she heard an all too familiar bell resound around the house. She sighed in frustration.

"For gods sake," Niklaus muttered angrily. Bella kissed him one more time before getting off his lap. "Heads are going to start rolling people keep interrupting us."

"Be nice, Nik," Bella told him quietly as she answered the door. Elijah and Kol had made their way down and waited off to the side as Bella welcomes their guests.

"Who is it?" Elijah asked her.

Bella didn't reply. Instead she stared back at her father, who was glaring at her, and the Cullens, who seemed to be backing him up. The pack also stood behind them, but Bella noticed Sam shake his head... so, they weren't their of their own accordance.

This was going to be interesting, she thought to herself as she opened the door wider.

Ending is not so great, but I have so many ideas and I want the next chapter to be longer and better, so I'm holding off the good things for that :)..

But leave a review if you liked it and even if you didn't. I'd like some constructive criticism
