Chapter 0: The Future beginnings-

Junko Enoshima grinded her teeth in frustration. Everything had gone so smoothly. She had obtained the brainwashing video from Ryota Mitarai and used it on Mikan Tsumiki and Chisa Yukizome and they both fell to despair and used Chiaki Nanami death as a catalyst and bring the entire 77-B class to despair.

All of it worked and she has turned them into the Ultimate Despairs and would spread it all over the world.

So why? Why are their brainwashing gone and in front of her the impossible is standing in front of her?

Chiaki Nanami is alive.

Even with her Ultimate analytic powers she can't formulate on how this was possible. Even her cloths where in pristine condition!

Her attention went to the very being that had achieved these feats. She only met this person a handle full of times and had dismissed him as something insignificant and was just another future member of the Ultimate despairs.

She glanced at Hinata Hajime or in his current state, Izuru Kamukura, who was staring at the same being she was. All she could she in his ever-stoic expression was complete and utter interest and she could see a hint to weariness in it as well.

"Damn… it's that you Hajime?" the person of interest said, recognizing his friend.

"Eh… Th-that's Hi-Hinata-kun?" One of the 77-B student said, Mikan Tsumiki.

"No way! Where talking about that Hajime right?!" Akane Owari blurted out, shocked at who the person in front of her was.

"For real? What the hell happened to you bro?!" The pinked haired mechanic, Souda Kazuichi said in disbelief.

Izuru didn't pay attention to them. His sights never left at the person in the middle of the two groups.

The person glanced at Chisa. "The Kamakura project, right?"

The orange haired teacher gave him a grim node.

"Thought so…" He said with a defeated sigh. "I'm sorry Chiaki…"

"It's not our fault-."

"IT IS MY FAULT!" he yelled out, stopping Chiaki to say more. "If I acted sooner, saw this coming, none of this would have happened." He gestured at the mind-controlled students that were behind Junko. "If I acted sooner, I could have saved the Student council! Ryota wouldn't have been forced to make that video! Mikan and Chisa-sensei wouldn't have been tortured and brainwashed! Everyone wouldn't have fall into despair!" He turned to Junko with a mocking smirk. "Great plan by the way! You would make a great B rate villain!"

Junko just glared at his jab, but remained silent.

"You wouldn't have died Chiaki!" He cried out as tears fell as he spoke. "I… almost lost you…" He whimpered and moments later he wiped the tears and determination was replaced. "That's why I'm making this right! I'm getting Hajime back and stopping you Ryoko… Junko! That is a promise!"

Junko was about to laugh, but stopped when Izuru final spoke.

"Now I understand."

Everyone's attention turned to him.

"Why you didn't fall to disperse. Why even with all your powers you lower yourself to something so boring as to protecting others."

The person in question narrowed his eyes. "I guess you saw how I brought back Chiaki?"

Izuru nodded at his question. "Yes, time powers are truly a convenient power to have."

"Huh!?" was all Junko can say after what Izuru said.

Everyone was stunned as well, not expecting that at all.

"That's how you brought me back? Turning my time back?" Chiaki said in disbelief after realizing what her friend had done.

He only gave a node to Chiaki.

"Is that true darling?" Sonia muttered with astonishment in her tone.

"Your joking, right? Please tell me your joking." Mahiru spoke, not believing what she was hearing.

He didn't say anything and that silence was an answer on its own.

"Your… not joking…"

"I'm so sorry for keeping this a secret, Sonia, Mahiru." He replied with shame in his voice.

Like before Izuru didn't pay mind to their conversation, he only continued to pay attention to the person in front of him. "Your ego, your very beliefs, your very ideals are in grave in you. You… are incorruptible."

The boy just snorted at his words. "You're not far off Hajime. Greater and more terrifying beings tried to corrupt me and all have failed. What chance do you think that B rate villain had if you knew what horrors tried to stop me?" He said a bit smugly. Remembering the ancient horror from beyond, he fought not too long ago.

Izuru judged his words. "You are telling the truth." He sated as a matter of fact. "So why? Why do all this? Why did you choice the path you walk? Tell me Ultimate Hero?"

"Hahahahahaha! You are wrong Izuru Kamakura, the mere title of an Ultimate is not worthy of this miraculous hope that stands before you! Rejoice Izuru Kamakura, Junko Enoshima! What stands before you is the greatest hope humanity could ever offer." Nagito Komaeda burst out in laughter and in reverence while everyone else save for Izuru, Junko and the one he was complementing and revering looked at him in exasperation.

"Still a creep even now…" Hiyoko Saionji said in disgust.

His eyes shut, recalling a memory from the past. His eyes once more brimmed with determination and unbreakable resolve and spoke in a solemn tone. "Because I simply chose too."

Izuru and Junko remained silent. Waiting for more for him to say.

"I'm the bearer of the Ultimatrix, the protector of the earth, the savior of the universe, the bane of Vilgax the conqueror, the slayer of the outer one, Diagon the destroyer." He spoke of the titles he had gained over the years. He activated green gauntlet like device on his wrist and slammed it. In a flash of blinding green light. As it died down everyone had their breaths taken when they saw what now stands Infront of them.

Their friend was no longer in human form. He was now a Tall humanoid that appeared to be made of rock, fire and magma, it seems to be composed of a bright yellow inner magma body covered by a dark red or brown rock. His body radiates high amounts of heat. His feet have a slight oval-like design with only two toes and one back toe.

"No fucking way!" Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu cried out, still not coming to terms on what he was seeing.

"I'm… completely speechless." Even the ever-stoic Peko Pekoyama couldn't hide her surprise.

"Be-Be-Ben-chan turned into a fire monster! Ibuki Mioda even joined in.

"I'm Ben 10!"

Even with such a series moment Hiyoko couldn't help herself to bash on Ben.

"Ben-nii… that was so lame!"

The alien hero couldn't help but give a dead pan stare at his blond admire. "You just can't give me my moment can you Hiyoko…"

… I know I should be doing my other fics, but I coudnt help myself on making this. With the corona virus and the lockdown I should have ample time to do some writing, but cant find myself to do more.

So anyway, this is a Chapter 0 or a preview of my new fic. It's still has a working title so if anyone has an idea for one pls give me some ideas. I'm kind of having trouble coming up with one.

The fic will not start off from here, it would start at the first year of the 77-B class and Ben would interact and create bonds with every that will lead Ben to this point of the fic. So, it mostly will be a slice of life fic with everyone and Ben.

I'm not sure when will the action start, but it will start gradually from small recon to fight later on.

Also, I'm pretty sure a lot will ask this question later on so I will address it now. Ben won't have a single paring. This will be a harem. I hate single paring fics. Besides it's the nature of heroes to have great attraction and affinity with the opposite gender.

Also just to let you know the first chapter is already under way and would be out soon.
