(Third person's P.O.V)

Most of the town showed up for the trail. More people were invested in this case then the Jason Blossom case. It will go down in history as the time the perfect boy next door killed the perfect girl next door.

The court room was packed the day of the sentencing. Jughead got a good look at his old friends as they were brought out in orange jumpsuits. The previous day, he had given a statement. He couldn't find it in his heart to forgive them yet. Some say he sounded cruel, but Jughead didn't care.

Archie went to the stand to make one finale statement. "There is nothing I can say or do to make what I did right," Archie said. "I'd just like to say I'm sorry for the pain I caused. I will forever carry the guilt of killing my bestfriend, if I can even call her that at this point."

You don't even have the right to say her name, Jughead thinks. "I have asked my mom to donate my college fund to one for Betty's sister, Polly and her kids," Archie said.

Archie then walked off of the stand. The judge then spoke up, "I charge Archie Andrews with murder in the second degree and disposal of a body and sentence him to 30 years without parole," she said. "I charge Kevin Keller, Veronica Lodge, and Cheryl Blossom with disposal of a body and sentence them to twenty years with the potential for parole after 10."

Jughead watched as his old friends directed the teens out of the room. Him and Archie made eye contact and Jughead smirked. This nightmare was finally over.
