Draco Malfoy entered a compartment of the Hogwarts Express already shared by three Slytherin girls and two guys. Crabbe and Goyle were eating like there was no tomorrow, nothing new about it. Chantel and Channel, identical twins, were gossiping and giggling among each other and Jade Lias was just staring out the window.

Draco sat in front of her, making her look his way. She smiled at him and greeted him. She was getting quite annoyed at the twins and the two guys, which was obvious, and was about to leave to the 'loo' or so she was going to say when he walked in.

"I heard your brother is the new official Quidditch captain now that Flint is gone," Draco told her.

"Yeah, it was between him or Cassius," Jade told him as it wasn't a big deal. "Mother and father were extremely proud of him and even got him a new broom and everything. Lex told everyone about it as soon as he found out."

Jade's brother had been co-captian since last year, Flint had repeated his last year for failing his exams and he had to share the captain spot with Lex, but it was Lex who had to make more decisions and was just a bit more important than Flint in the team.

As asual, once they got to Hogwarts and walked into the Great Hall, Jade and Draco sat together. Crabbe and Goyle in front of them. The twins luckily went somewhere else but Pansy Parkinson sat next to Jade. She had a crush on her brother, she never stopped talking about Lexion, which drove Jade crazy

Soon, after the new students were sorted, Dumbledore asked for everyone's attenion as he had important things to announce. As every other year they got a new teacher for Defense Against the Dark Arts, Alastar Moody.

But then he said something no one really expected and got everyone quite excited. He announced the Triwizard Tournament was going to be held in Hogwarts that year, students from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang were going to arrive at the school in a few days.

"I'll try and get in," Cassius said to Lexion, who nodded and said he would too.

But then Dumbledore said two things that many people didn't like. One, that only students that were seventeen or older could participate, at that the Weasley Twins complaint loudly. And two, that there wasn't going to be Quidditch that year.

"What?" Jade exclaimed.

This time the Lias siblings were the ones who complaint the loudest, along with Cedric Diggory, and some Ravenclaws and Gryffindors.

"What are you doing?" Jade asked once they were all back in the Slytherin common room.

"What do you think? I'm writing a letter to Mother and Father," Lexion said. "No Quidditch? They can't do that!"

Jade didn't argue, if their parents could do anything, it would be great. She wanted to play Quidditch, she started playing in her second year when the chaser at the time got injured during practice and she did an amazing job during the match against Hufflepuff. And during her third year she was officially part of the team. Lexion also started on his third year.

"Are you going to try to get into the Triwizard Tournament?" Jade asked him. He was seventeen already.

"Yeah, why not?" he said without looking up at her. "Cassius is too. Wish we both could be chosen as champions, you know? But only one student per school can be chosen."

"Yeah," Jade said emotionless. "Send my greetings to our parents for me, please."

"Sure."

Hello guys!
I started this story because I was unable to write and continue my other stories. To sort of get inspired again and get into writing.
I don't know if you can tell, but I feel like my writing had become plain and too short. So I didn't want my other stories to go from 4k words per chapter to 1k and being completely rubbish.
So this was just for practice, I guess and I was in a Harry Potter mood :D

Surprisingly, I did finish the story so I've decided to start publishing it and I will soon continue my TWD story.

Please let me know what you think so far! And tell me what you are doing to keep motivated & busy during this quarantine period.
By the way, I'm thinking of making a video soon. I watched a Sirius/Regulus video that inspired me but I don't know what to do exactly.
