[Sakura Empire]

UNSC Akagi slowly open her eyes to an unfamiliar ceiling. Lifting herself up and seeing more of a civilian style room than waking up in a medical room. Before she could question where she was, her systems finally got her attention.

'System check', Akagi silently reviewed her engines, weaponry, and hull.

"Main Thruster - Inoperable and in current need of repair." Her Dumb AI stated her issues.

M66 Sentry autocannon #7 - Disable

M870 Rampart point defense gun #11 - Disable

M810 Helix point defense guns #2,6,10,&19 - Disable

Brident missiles - 63% remaining

Archer missiles - 48% remaining

Akagi acknowledge and checked the other minor damage. She was glad her MAC and missile pods were fine. Her hull is lightly damage and no puncture damage is shown. Some of her point defense guns are disabled, but that isn't important compared to her thruster.

Seeing a low number of Broadswords, Akagi began the construction of new fighters to recover her numbers. Now that's out of the way, she could focus on her current situation. Setting up a UNSC beacon before hearing someone at the door.

*slide* The door opens sideways and a lady, wearing a white uniform stood there.

"I see that your awake."

Akagi looked at the woman, before her eyes drown closer above her head. At first she was glad she be in a human building, but those fluffy ears began to question that. Thinking that they were fake, but her accurate vision observed it was far too realistic than a accessory.

"Would you like some tea?" She offered, holding a small pot of tea and a teacup.

"...o-okay" 'she isn't hostile, I should gather more information before doing anything.' Akagi accepted the cup of tea.

"Where am I?" Akagi asked.

"Your currently in dormitory of the Sakura Empire."

"Sakura Empire?" Akagi did not register any current Empire in UNSC database, except from Earth's history.

"Oh my, did you hit your head too hard." The person got uncomfortably close and gently patted her head. Akagi quickly grabbed her wrist, without trying to put too much force from her fast reaction, and setting her hand aside.

"I am currently fine and my memory is perfectly intact, miss..." Akagi felt a bit gulity for not asking her name first, before gathering intel.

"My name is Atago. If you need any help, just leave it to big sister here." Atago smiled, once again slipping close to Akagi's comfort zone.

"Miss Atago." Akagi memorized her name and appearance. She got up and took the usual marine's stand straight and proud stance. "I'm UNSC Akagi." Atago gasp hearing that name, reminding her of the lost their IJN Akagi.

"Is their something wrong?" Akagi caught her silent gasp.

"No no, it's that there's someone with the same name."

"I see... anyway, which planet are we on?" Akagi asked and Atago looked unnerved at that dumb question."

"We're on earth, silly."

Akagi quickly doubt that, since someone would have already picked up her distress call a few minutes after. Atago's words sound sincere as if she was right about the amnesia. Akagi's distress beacon still hasn't contacted any UNSC, so she thought she was on a unregistered planet, not on earth.

"Really?"

"Yes."

[Sakura Empire, late afternoon]

Akagi stepped out side of the dorm and got a good look at the Sakura Empire. By UNSC Human-Japanese Standards, this place would be a excellent traditional resort. Escorted by Atago to meet Nagato, who Akagi heard to be the one with the highest authority of this empire.

Along the way, Akagi spotted many girls with unique traits of animal ears and tail or horns. 'They're not human...' While she did lightly greet wave at the civilians, they continue to walk closer to the base of the giant sakura tree.

Earth also has cherry blossom trees, but they never grown as gigantic as this one. Maybe some UNSC and civilian botanist, would love to get some samples and seeds from this tree. Cultivate their own super sized tree and research the secret of its enormous growth and wonder if it can be done to the same with other plants.

They both arrived and Atago tells Akagi to wait as she went to inform Nagato.

"..." after a few minutes, UNSC Akagi is summoned.

[Sakura Empire, High Council Chamber]

Nagato, Mutsu, and Kawakaze await for the new arrival, who bears the same name as Akagi.

UNSC Akagi arrived and eyed at Nagato's and Mutsu's armaments, 'they're shipgirls!' Despite their small bodies, no human can bear the weight of such weapons. Glancing at Kawakaze, she can tell she's ready to strike at any given moment.

"You must be lord Nagato, or Nagato-sama by language standard."

"Yes. Sit down so we may begin." Nagato said and Akagi step down to her knees, even if she's isn't used to the sitting posture.

"How much did Atago say about me?" Akagi asked, thinking where to begin.

"I was informed you were found unconscious and brought here for recovery, Akagi." Nagato said, "and that your part of the United Nation Security Council."

"Security Council?" 'That organization is long gone, unless...'

"Am I wrong?" Nagato looked at her for confirmation.

"Yes. Before we continue on, I wish to exchange information to get on the same page here." Akagi said.

"What information do you want to know?"

"Mainly about this world's history and the people who live on it."

"Very well, what will you give?" Nagato asked.

"A full introduction, unclassified information of where I come from, and maybe some services I could provide."

"Accepted." Nagato stood up, "I am Nagato, the first Nagato-class battleship and flagship of the Sakura Empire's Combined Fleet. I represent the soul of the Sakura Empire's military, the glory and the brilliance of the Empire."

"I am UNSC Akagi. Epoch-class heavy carrier, designation CV-233, property of the United Nation Space Command. I serve to defend humanity to the end. We have much to discuss."

Everyone was surprised at UNSC Akagi is a Carrier than a Battleship and astonish at a starship girl. Kawakaze and Nagato were able to hold their poker face, while Mutsu shown curiosity painted on her face.

Akagi acknowledge that these girls are World War ll Wet Navy Ship from human history. What sets their history apart is that humanity encounter the Sirens in the 19th century while the UNSC in the 26th century. These shipgrils have their own faction and the big four are Iron Blood, Sakura Empire, Royal Navy, and Eagle Union. What really got Akagi's attention is the disappearance of their humanity.

"What do you mean humanity just disappeared?!" Akagi almost yelled.

"It's one of the greatest mystery that has yet be to be answered?"

"Did no one noticed the people's disappearance before they're all kidnapped or killed?"

Mutsu twitched at the thought at the death of all humans. Nagato noticed her little sister's fear and approached another subject.

"Now that we understand each other better, what are your intentions?"

"Well for now, getting repairs would be top priority. Once that is done, hunting down Sirens is next. I don't want to be involved between political affairs, so please don't drag me into it as the UNSC greatly differs from the Sakura Empire, 'by hundreds of years'. As for services, I can aid in battle against Sirens. Whether it will be myself on the battlefield or one of my planes from a distance. Besides combat, I can help transport heavy cargo in quick secession."

"Very well, UNSC Akagi. You may stay in the room you were sleeping before, and will be called upon for either contribution." Nagoto said.

Nagato and Akagi finally came to a compromise and soon dismissed.
