Subject: Sunsetting of Babylon Labs research recovery

Thank you for taking the time to read my email, Overseer. I will touch upon some of the points you raised.

1. You are correct that the failure of the project is primarily due to the data lost from the Babylon Labs. Very little of the research they had was able to be reconstituted. I cannot overstate how much we were put back. Regardless I must still take responsibility for Enlil's stalling.

2. The sample size was sufficient to conduct a broad scope evaluation with factored in comprehensive permutations. Given the significantly reduced timeframe I must stand by my staff and assert that they did their very best. Any failures should be placed squarely at my feet.

3. I agree that the results re Honkai energy infusion were surprising. If anything were to come of my research, it is this. The marked improvement in infusion without the corrosion of higher cognitive functions is promising. See my notes sent to Dr Irenics re K-423 apex preparations.

4. I must disagree with you on this point, Overseer. Mothballing the research is one thing. Liquidation of valuable assets is another. All tests conducted indicate that the subjects will expire rapidly due to environmental factors. The best use of resources would be to maintain observation until total mortality is achieved. Valuable research data can be gleaned.

5. I have looked over your request and upon due consideration I will accept it. May I reserve the opportunity to hand-pick some of my former staff before they are dispersed into other research projects? All of them are valuable individuals with a good synergy regarding each other's talents. I believe they, along with I, can be a valuable resource in advancing your research at the Australia Shicksal outpost of Oceania Branch. The Seventh Cardinal Red Soulium project seems intriguing.

Thank you again for taking the time to peruse what I have sent you.

Kind regards,

Dr Ashton Baile
