A week later

It's 4:00 pm and I have spent the last couple of hours cleaning the apartment. I take the bucket with the dirty cleaning-water and pour it into the toilet. Arizona is going to be discharged from the hospital in an hour and I want the place to be clean when she gets back here. A breeze coming from the window makes me shiver. I close the window and turn on the radiator before I go into the bedroom. Arizona has asked me to bring her an outfit that she can put on instead of the hospital-gown. I pull out a blue blouse, a black cardigan and a pair of jeans for her. Her and I have been getting closer to normal. We have talked about how the scar makes her feel and how she wants to take things a little slow. I'm glad that she's comfortable telling me how she feels and glad that I also feel comfortable with her. I made preparations for dinner earlier today, so making dinner tonight will take 45 minutes less. The light is turned on in the living room and a bouquet of flowers from the store down the street is standing in a vase on the dining table. I check that everything is where it's supposed to be before I leave the apartment.

I arrive at the hospital at 4:43 pm and go straight to Arizona's room. She is sitting on the bed with her legs hanging over the edge. Bailey is signing some of her discharge paper.

"Hey beautiful!" Arizona greets me.

"Hey baby. Ready to go?" I ask.

Arizona nods. "Almost. Bailey is just signing the last papers and I need to change out of this gown." She answers with a huge smile. I can tell that she is excited to go home, and I smile back at her.

"Well here you go." I say, handing her the outfit that I brought. "How are you doing Bailey?"

She looks up from the papers. "I'm doing fine." Bailey establishes. "Are you ready to bring Dr. Robbins home?"

"More than ready. I have spent the whole day cleaning the apartment." I answer.

Arizona comes out from the bathroom in the outfit and I smile. It's nice to see her in her own clothes instead of the outfit that the hospital gave her.

"I'm done signing these and you are now officially discharged from Seattle Grace." Bailey says and smiles at the both of us.

I walk over to Arizona and pick up her bag which is standing next to her. I put my hand on my hip, so my arm creates a handle for her to hold on to. She grabs my arm as she stands up. We walk slowly towards the lobby and we meet Mark there.

"Robbins! Ready to go home?" Mark says loudly.

She chuckles. "Yeah." She says a little out of breath. "If I can get to the car." She jokes.

"Glad your okay, Robbins." He says sincerely.

Arizona offers him a smile in response, and we head out of the hospital exit. I help Arizona into the front seat, and I toss the bag in the trunk of the car.

"You alright?" I ask after I turned the engine on.

"Yeah. Excited to go home to my own bed." She says followed by a relieved sigh.

I help Arizona into the kitchen and onto a chair at the dinner table. After putting the bag into the bedroom, I head out to the kitchen and start making dinner. Arizona turns around and looks around in the apartment. She smiles and chuckles.

"Did you clean the place?" She asks with a smile on her lips.

"Yeah I did." I answer while I stir the mix in the casserole.

"It looks really nice. Thanks for doing that, Callie." She says sincerely. "Thanks for everything. I really appreciate that you have been here for me and accepted that I'm struggling a bit."

I look up from the casserole and smile at her. "Of course, babe, I love you." I say.

After finishing dinner and me cleaning the dishes we both crash onto the couch. Arizona is laying on the couch resting her head on my thighs. I'm sitting up and running my fingers through her hair. It's feels so great to have her home again, safe again. We are watching a movie about some boy seeking new adventures, to be honest I'm not really watching it. I'm just sitting, watching Arizona. She turns around to lay on her back and she looks up at me.

"I missed this." She tells me.

I caress her forehead. "I missed this too, Arizona." I agree.

She swallows once before saying something. "I also missed something else." She says flirting.

I raise my eyebrows. "Oh, well I thought we were going to take things slow." I say a bit confused at the sudden change of thought.

"We agreed on taking things a little slow. It's not like I don't want you to touch me." She chuckles. "I want… I want you to take me to bed, Callie." She says nervously.

"Can you sit up for me?" I ask her.

Arizona sits up so that she faces my direction. I turn a little to the left so that we are facing each other's direction. I move forward to get us closer. As I put my hand on her knee, I lean forward to kiss her. She follows and our lips meet. I take her face in my hand to intensify the kiss. Arizona pulls away and looks me in the eyes.

"Will you take me to bed?" She asks flirting.

I stand up next to the couch and take my hands out in front of me to help Arizona get up. I gently grab her where her knees bend and under her arms. She gasps as I lift her up and she puts her arms around me. I gently lay her on the bed, and she takes of her cardigan as I walk around the bed. We lay down at the same time, both on our backs, looking up at the celling.

"You feel nervous too?" She asks still looking up.

I turn me head her way. "Yeah. Do you still…" I start before she cuts me of.

"Yes Callie. Touch me, please?"

I roll on my side and put my left leg over her body. I lay two fingers on her chin and turn her head against me. She looks me deeply in the eyes and we meet in a passionate kiss.

"You have to tell me if you feel uncomfortable, okay?" I ask looking into Arizona's eyes.

"I will." She says followed by a sigh.

We start making out again and my body shivers when she puts her hand on my leg. I feel goosebumps all over my skin as she slides her hand up and down on my thigh. My body is filled with desire and I switch from laying besides her to straddling her. I look down at her making sure that the position change wasn't too much for her. She smiles up at me and lays her hands on my thighs. I lean down into a kiss and I feel Arizona bucking her hips into me. I smile at the feeling.

"That feels nice." I establish and kiss her again.

She grabs my face and pulls me harder into the kiss. Our hips grind against each other, creating that delicious friction. Wetness is starting to build between my legs. I feel Arizona tucking my shirt and I sit up and she pulls the shirt of me. I instantly lean back down into the kiss. Arizona's hands are traveling all over my back and onto my ass. I gasp as I feel her going from my back and onto my waist. I pull back and look down into her eyes. Her hands travel from my waist and onto my stomach. I let out a heavy breath when I feel Arizona leading her fingers up to my breasts with a light touch. Arizona tilts her head to the side before she grabs both of my breasts. I gasp at the sensation and let out a quiet moan.

"I missed these." She whispers with lust in her voice.

"Oh…" I moan.

The hold on my breasts disappears and hands glide onto my back and snaps of my bra. A gasp leaves my lips as the piece falls down my arm and lands on Arizona. I lift both my hands and she tosses the piece on the floor. Her hands fly back to where they were, and she starts to do circular motions on my nipples with her thumbs. I grind down against Arizona and a moan leaves my hungering lips.

"I want you so bad…" I say as I sit up on top of her. "Can I pull this up?" I ask her, tucking lightly on her blouse.

Arizona breaths out heavily. "Yeah…" She says.

I pull the blouse up over her breasts and lightly stroke my fingers over her stomach. Arizona gasps at the sensation. I lean down to kiss the skin, but she pulls her blouse back down as my lips touch her skin.

"I'm sorry I can't!" Arizona says loudly.

I sit back up straight. "Oh, I'm so sorry, baby!" I apologies looking very nervously down at her. "Are you okay? Should we stop?"

"Yeah, I think I- I just need some more time." She establishes. "I'm sorry I thought I was ready."

"Hey, it's completely fine." I say sincerely as I lay down next to her. "I didn't mean to push you." I say guilty.

Arizona rolls up on her side. "You didn't, Calliope." She tells me as she caresses my cheek.

We lay there just looking at each other for a minute before Arizona rolls on her other side so her back is facing against me.

"Cuddle with me?" She suggests.

I pull her close to me. "I'm glad that you said stop. I'm glad that you feel comfortable telling me when we need to pause." I explain.

I close my eyes and I'm fully asleep after a couple of minutes.
