Harry had never been so keen on not breaking school rules before. He was a mini marauder and was friends with the twins so it was simpler said then done. At least the twins were not around at school to inspire him. He didn't need to give that man any reason to give him detention. He knew from past experience neither Minerva or Albus would step in. He just needed to avoid the man outside of class until this damn potion wore off. He thought Severus was clearly lying about the potion. Harry had never been attracted to the man before the potion. Maybe a bit to Draco but even that he was sure was just intensified by the dumb potion. The moment it wore off he was sure he would never look at the man again. And he would go back to trying to make Harry's life miserable with cauldrons.

Oddly Severus was just as anxious for the damn potion to ware off as the boy was. He didn't like to take orders from Remus about anything but he knew the man had a point. When he bedded the boy he wanted there to be no doubt that they both wanted it. But it was taking its sweet time.

It was two weeks after the game when Harry was headed to the infirmary. "I hope this is the last time."

Hermione who had been walking with him on her way back to the tower pointed out. "You never like the hospital wing."

Harry couldn't deny that but he had a new reason. "Hoping for good news tonight."

Hermione laughed as she knew why. "It's not like its been that big of an issue."

Harry had not been too honest with his friends about Severus. "Can thank Blaise for keeping him distracted."

Hermione had a bit of an odd glint in her eyes. "Of course Draco. Him too."

Harry eyed her side ways. "He was the only concern."

Hermione went to part ways as she was going in a different direction. "I am not a blind as my boyfriend."

Harry grumbled as he went in the other direction. "I am starting to think you have gone love blind."

Hermione could be heard laughing as she headed off to study. She was far more open minded then Ron would have been about all of this. Ron had almost lost his marbles more then once when the explosion happened. He thought that it was a plot by one of the Slytherins to seduce Harry and he had thought Theo was bribed to do it. Ron had no idea that Severus had been acting on it and Harry was not about to tell him any time. Hermione had a feeling there was more to Harry and Severus then she had been told. But she agreed that Ron best not know right now.

Harry had been summoned to the hospital wing for another check of the potion. He had been hoping for good news all along but that night he truly felt like he would get it. The potion had been waring off and he could feel differences. He just hoped to have it confirmed.

He was not surprised to find Draco in the room. "Seems I wasn't the only anxious one."

Draco turned to look at him. "I have been the one trying to invite you to an alcove. Why would I be anxious?"

Harry didn't buy it. "You were here before me. Skip out of dinner and run up here?"

Draco didn't find it funny. "You are running late Potter. Besides some of us have plans tonight."

Harry smirked. "I'd tell you to remind Blaise not to keep you up too late as you have practice, but then again your team doesn't do mornings."

Draco returned the smirk. "I would think you'd want me to be tired so maybe I'd fall off my broom."

Harry managed a slight laugh. "Already beat you for the season."

Draco reminded him. "Its not over until its over."

Harry didn't deny that. "I don't see losing to Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff any time soon."

Draco shrugged. "It wouldn't be the first time."

"No dementors around." Harry pointed out. "Unless ones of the fake variety."

Draco laughed a little. "Didn't work so well the first time."

Harry shrugged. "Should thank you. You got me on the quidditch team first year. And helped me perfect my patronus then."

Draco grumbled at the reminder of that. "Just don't remind my house."

Harry had not even known what quidditch was before Draco had egged him on in flying class. Him catching Neville's rememberall had got him on the team all those years ago. He likely would never had the courage to try out or try that dive if not for Draco. Thinking of his plans for next fall he could admit he owed a lot to Draco. He was of course not about to put that out there too often.

Poppy had come into the room with Severus but they watched the boys banter back and forth. She didn't think the two of them had made out too bad for the potion. She knew they were all anxious for it to be done with and was not surprised they were all earlier then she expected.

Severus finally cleared his throat. "Are we interrupting?"

Harry turned and chose to ignore him as he turned to Poppy. "Please tell me it is done."

Poppy motioned them all to sit. "Give me a second and we will know."

Harry sunk onto a bed with the other two across from him. "Please."

Severus watched both boys. "I'd think young men would hardly notice."

Draco eyed his Uncle as Harry simply groaned. "And you?"

Severus didn't find it funny. "I have more control over my hormones."

Harry grumbled. "Sure you do."

Poppy cut off any response. "Well it seems none of you will have to. The potion is finally gone."

Relief passed over Harry and Draco's faces but there was an odd look on Severus. Neither boy noticed but Poppy did not miss it at all. Harry and Draco soon took their leave from the room. Severus stood up and he watched them flee and he felt some relief that the potion was gone. He still wanted that boy and now there was nothing standing in his way. He had fulfilled a promise not to act while he was under it.

He noticed Poppy watching him and went to leave. "Thank you."

Poppy called. "The potion may have worn off but I'd be careful."

Severus turned back to look at the woman. Before Remus came back, Poppy and Filius were his only friends on staff. "Careful?"

Poppy reminded him. "With Harry."

Severus smirked. "Concerned for him are you?"

Poppy actually laughed. "He can hold his own. I was more concerned for you."

That made Severus stop. "Think I would be bested by a seventeen year old?"

Poppy reminded him. "Sirius can be dangerous when he lets loose."

Severus didn't need reminding. "No tricking me on a full moon."

Poppy went to go in her office. "He has learned a lot as an auror. And when it comes to his son…."

Severus didn't need the woman to finish. "I will keep that in mind."

He knew she had a point and that he was lucky that only Remus suspected anything. Sirius already looked ready to shred him after the potion explosion. The man had been reminded that Severus had not caused the accident. He could only imagine what the mutt would do if he knew that Severus had been trying to seduce his son ever since. Sirius would need to know one day but for now he didn't plan for the man to know. He thought Remus would be reasonable now the potion had worn off. As long as he didn't believe that Severus had forced his son in any way.

Severus was practically licking his lips in anticipation. "Now to find that boy for some fun. I have waited long enough."

Harry was headed inside after quidditch practice the next morning. His friends had tried to convince him to go into town but he turned them down. They were all heading off with their girlfriends and he hadn't felt like being a fifth wheel. Well except Ron who had got a part time job working in town to give him some spending money. He had made his mother proud saving up most he made working that summer to have for when he graduated. And he was making her even more proud now, keeping up his grades and quidditch as well. He was one of a few kids who took advantage of the seniors being able to leave campus to get some work. Hermione was planning on working in the library so she would not have been around to keep Harry company. His friends had ribbed him that he was the only one single still when even Neville had a date.

Harry's mind was on a man but he tried to shake the thought from his brain. The potion was gone and so was any need to be around him. He would find a date eventually as gay was not uncommon in their world. But he still found it hard in school because of his hero status.

He was about to head up to his tower when he heard an angry voice. "Look at these floors Mr. Potter."

Harry groaned as he turned to look at the man. It wasn't even raining this time. "I am hardly the only one who walked through the hall."

Filch was stewing in anger. "You tracked in all this dirt from the field. Look at your boots."

Harry shook his head. "I was just the only one you caught."

The man waved a broom at him. "You will be helping me with these floors."

Harry smirked at the man. " I am going for lunch. I made no mess."

The man was furious with him. "I will report this to….."

Another voice came from behind. "Is there something wrong here?"

Harry groaned as he saw Severus approaching. "Nothing."

Argus turned to him. "Look at the mess this brat made. Now he is refusing to help clean."

He expected Severus to bark at him but the man kept his eyes on Filch. "I see nothing but the tracks of dozens of students."

Filch was stewing. "This is him."

Severus motioned to Harry. "He will be accompanying me to tutoring in the dungeons."

Harry was pale and looked at the man as Filch stormed off. "As you said I didn't earn a detention."

Severus came in close. "I said nothing about detention."

Harry went to leave. "Then I am going."

Severus drew him in nice and close. "I would think you'd not want to have this out in the open."

Harry felt like pointing out that he didn't want to have it at all but the man didn't seem to be taking no for an answer. He didn't know what the man had planned but he reminded himself the potion had worn off of them. There was no reason that the man would still be acting on anything. He actually thought he should go with Filch as he thought cleaning the floors might be a better option then going with the man. But he found himself being led into the dungeons and he had no idea what he was about to say or do. He reminded himself the man was his professor.

Severus would have to thank Filch he thought as he made the boy follow him down to the dungeons. Oh he knew that he had no reason to make Harry come but the boy did seem to be following him. He led Harry not into his classroom but into his personal lab.

Harry eyed him as the man closed the door with wards. "I should be studying."

Severus smirked at that but shrugged. "That is what you are doing."

Harry looked at the apron he was handed. "I didn't mean potions."

Severus wasn't taking no. "We both know you need to work on your skills."

Harry humored him for some reason putting it on. "I don't see needing it for quidditch."

Severus knew the boy had a point. "Well we can work on other 'skills' later."

Harry eyed him as he moved to the board. "Why are you doing this?"

Severus started his cauldron. "You didn't seem keen to accept my invitation to my rooms."

Harry went red a bit as hard as he tried not to. "The potion wore off."

Severus agreed. "Now you can be sure its all about us and our desires."

Harry went really red. "Desires? I have no desires."

Severus came around to his side. "The lovely red color in your cheeks tells me other wise."

Harry tried to back up. "I am just warm."

Severus' hand strayed to the front of Harry's apron. "No need to get all embarrassed. We are both adults here."

Harry fought a groan. "I don't plan to sleep with my professor."

Severus whispered in his ear. "It wasn't sleep I had in mind."

Harry bit back a moan as the man's hand added a bit of pressure. "I don't plan to see your bed."

Severus held him in place. "I have pictured bending you over my table so many times. Or against the wall."

Harry whimpered a bit at the pressure. "I am not some quick lay. I am sure you can find some fun."

Severus actually pulled back and agreed. "Oh you are definitely not easy. And I don't plan on anything quick."

Harry watched the man as he went to his task. "I am not looking for sex. I want a relationship."

Severus didn't seem bothered. "I have had dinner ordered for when we finish."

Harry gaped at him. "Dinner?"

Severus continued to work. "We should eat food before we have fun I agree."

Harry stammered. "I said I wouldn't."

Severus simply pointed at the board. "I will need those soon."

Though Harry looked ready to run he found himself picking up the knife and going to work on the slugs. He refused to look at the man as he found himself going warm any time he looked up from the task he was given. He knew he could leave and should leave but for some reason he did not leave. For a moment he thought if he screwed up a task bad enough the man would kick him out for ruining his potion. He worried though that the man would use it as an excuse for giving him detention. The last thing he needed was more alone time.

Severus smiled when the potion was done and he got no protest as he led Harry into his rooms. He saw the boy eying him and the rooms when dinner arrived for them on the table. He hoped the boy wouldn't flee and was pleased when he remained.

Harry looked at the food as he nibbled on some of the steak. "Trying to wine and dine me? Page out of Lucius' book?"

Severus smirked at that. "I don't need love advice from my best fiend."

Harry smirked a tad at that. "You don't seem to have done well without it."

Severus poured the boy some wine. "I don't seem to be doing too bad."

Harry eyed the wine. "I am thinking you added a potion to that. The only way you can think this is working."

Severus sipped the wine showing it was fine. "Oh we both know I don't need a potion."

Harry picked up the goblet. "I am starting to think maybe you paid Theo to do it."

Severus didn't find it funny. "Oh I don't need that boy to interfere. Though I could thank him for opening your eyes up to your desires."

Harry didn't find it funny. "I have no desires. You lied about that potion, I am not attracted to you or…."

Severus cut him off. "Both Poppy and your dad agreed with me. Surely you don't think they were lying?"

Harry grumbled. "No."

Severus motioned to the food. "I am told asparagus is a natural aphrodisiac."

Harry pushed them away with his fork. "I will avoid those."

Severus took a nice bite of his. "Oh I have always enjoyed."

Harry fell into silence as he ate the meal which he could admit was quite good. The man did seem to have a good taste in food. Severus benefited from having the school kitchens at his disposal. Few people knew but he also had the Prince fortune behind him as well. He could afford to wine and dine a date if he chose to. But with Harry he had no doubt that it wasn't needed. Besides the boy was not one to be impressed by such.

Harry went to leave when done. "I should get to my rooms."

Severus stopped him and whispered. "The password has not changed."

Harry pushed back. "Nor has my answer. I am not out for simple sex."

Severus pulled the boy closer. "Oh there is nothing simple or just sex in what I have planned."

Harry smirked at him. "Planning on buying me flowers and taking me on dates are you?"

Severus purred in his ear. "If it will get you to dinner again I'd bring you a greenhouse."

Harry felt the man rub against him and he was hard. "I wont be bedding you."

Severus pulled Harry into a long drawn out kiss instead of a response. He took pleasure in when Harry's mouth opened and allowed his tongue access to explore. And against all protests from the boy, Harry's tongue was now exploring his mouth as well. He wanted nothing more then to take the boy to bed but he decided that was not the best route right now. He needed to persuade the boy he wanted it so he would come back again. He didn't plan on this being one time fun. Now to convince the boy of it.

He pulled back. "It seems you enjoy yourself."

Harry went to leave. "Just because you are a good kisser does not mean I will ever go to bed with you."

Severus stopped him one last time. "I am sure you will find just how persuasive a Slytherin can be."

Harry smirked. "Ask your nephew how well that worked."

Severus smiled. "Oh he is like any young man too anxious for pleasure. I am more patient."

Harry opened the painting door. "You will be waiting forever."

Severus watched as Harry left and he smiled as he went and picked up his wine from the table. Oh the boy could protest but he was not going to have to wait forever. That boy would see reason and thought he was already coming around. He would have that boy under him soon enough. And unlike his nephew who was too quick for a shag, he was going to relish this. He was starting to see why Lucius told him he needed to learn to loosen up and have some fun. He always told Severus that being a monk was not helping him in life with stress.

He drank his wine and looked at the fire. "Now to persuade that boy we both can release some stress together."
