As the crew came back from the expedition in finding Atlantis, they told me a terrible truth.

Rourke had betrayed them.

To tell you the truth, I wasn't surprised by the revelation. I knew he would do this. That expedition on Iceland had really changed him. This commander that had bravery in him has turned into a heartless, manipulative mercenary who would even kill a group of beings just to get that crystal, which is actually their source of living according to what the crew told me. To think they followed his goals at first, but I knew they would turn on him. That's all because they told me that they saw Rourke not only punched Milo in the face, but he also insulted his grandfather's memory. How could a man like that has turned into a monster?

I don't wanna know. They can do whatever they want in any expedition except for murder, and Rourke had crossed the line. I was right not to trust him; that finger crossing I did before the Ulysses went down had confirmed my suspicions. When the crew came back with the whole story, it really says it all. I knew that if the world found out that one of my crew had turned on them, we will be questioned, and worse we'll go to jail for attempted murder and conspiracy. I had them provide a cover story that Rourke was missing from having a nervous breakdown. The world doesn't have to know of what he did.

I got nothing else to think about that man, so it's good that he went down to pieces literally, all thanks to Milo. Good job, kid.
