In this fic I will try to include different enemies other than just pirates and marines, I will definitely add strong people with different occupations I just don't want to spoil anything. Also the crew will be more piratey, they won't be mass murderers or anything but they will kill some people occasionally. Hope you have fun!

Chapter 1: Restart

Luffy found himself in a very familiar bar after a flash of light.

He looked around and took in the familiar scene down to the same exact people he remembered. A two armed red haired man was on the floor, over him stood a weak man with a big attitude. 'So it's true, huh,' he thought as everyone stared at him.

Luffy throws his memory back and remembers how and why he was there.

-Flashback start-

They were on Onigashima. Or what remained of it at least. Monkey D. Luffy, also known as 'Straw Hat' Luffy, was on his last straws. The alliance with the minks, samurais of Wano and two pirate captains took them far in this battle, but it wasn't far enough. Or was it his fault like that time bear guy? Of course it was. If he was strong enough he wouldn't be in this position.

He looked next to him at his friend and ally, the Surgeon of Death, Trafalgar D. Water Law, or as he calls him, Tra-guy. He was just as beat up as him, sprawled on the ground, but that wasn't the problem. His eyes were so lifeless and empty that Luffy's heart went to him.

At the beginning of the day, Big Mom received a report from Totto Land that Blackbeard attacked her islands. His goal obvious. Her Road Poneglyph. She cut the celebrations for her new alliance with the beast pirates and promptly returned to her territory.

A blessing, he told himself. The first time he face a Yonko it only took one hit for him to lose. Upon arriving and launching the surprise attack, the gathered samurai took on the brunt of Kaido and Orochi's men after Luffy knocked out as many as he could with Conquerors Haki.

The next challenge were the Headliners and the Numbers. As soon as the enemies became tougher, the minks went Sulong on them. With the cooperation of both pirate crews, the Nine Red Scabbards and the minks in the Sulong form, they did it, with the recently reunited Jinbe taking down a quarter of the enemies single handedly. However, most of them were spent. Now, it was time for Inuarashi and Nekomamushi to enter their Sulong form and take down Jack, while Sanji battled Queen with his new modified Raid Suit.

The raid suit was basically the same. Same color schemes, same style, just every Germa 66 indication was removed and a lone Straw Hat jolly roger decorated the cloak. He kept the glasses and headphones, took of the face mask and modified that ridiculous hairstyle into his own.

After defeating Queen, Sanji was totally exhausted he rested for a while. Meanwhile, Zoro, ever the beast, took down King and proceeded to deal with Orochi as well, promoting Enma to a black blade in the process. He took down a couple of oniwaban on the way but these were irrelevant.

Raizo and Shinobu were fighting against the rest of the oniwaban in a flashy ninja battle that ended with them victorious, largely due to Shinobu's devil fruit ability.

As all this was happening, Luffy, Law and the rest of the scabbards were fighting losing battle against Kaido until Luffy got in a good hit with his new improved Armament Haki, right before Zoro, Sanji and Jinbe joined. From there it was an even battle. Alas, good things are bound to end, and Kaido started targeting their crewmates and fallen allies.

He killed half of their injured army with a Boro Breath, and murdered the whole Kidd crew and every Heart pirate other than Law. The only reason the Strawhats were only seriously injured and not definitely dead was because Luffy and the others would take the beating for them in the last second, leaving them vulnerable. Zues even 'died' protecting Nami and Chopper.

Luffy raised his head higher to look at the towering figure of the Yonko he was about to die to, he was the last one standing. After exhausting 4th Gear, his friends bought him 10 minutes to recover, but when he did everyone was down. So he geared up again and delivered a King Kong Gun that was parried by the monster he was fighting. Kaido raised his club, "This is the most I've been injured since Oden, good job brats. It's time to die."

Luffy's eyes hardened, he was gonna put his all in that last punch and die like a warrior, fighting.

Suddenly eight shadows jumped over him and held back Kaido's club. Luffy brightened a little at seeing Oden's retainers but frowned upon hearing Kinnemon's next words, "Luffy, Law, take any survivors from your crew and run, escape! We can't hold him off for too long!"

Luffy was going to protest but before he could, a blue sphere covered him and his crew. Suddenly they were far away. Another trip and they could see the shore now. Finally they were on the Sunny. As their bodies hit the deck, one by one, everyone began to wake up as they realized their situation. The entire Strawhat crew was present.

Franky, who climbed out of the now one armed Shogun, Brook and Jinbe started running around the deck preparing the ship to leave. Nami, Chopper and Usopp started crying over their lost comrades as Robin comforted them. Though Chopper was hurt emotionally and physically, he started bandaging and fixing up the crew with Usopp's help. Zoro and Sanji stood tall, watching the conclusion of the battle between 10 loyal retainers and their Lord's murderer.

Luffy was sad for the people that died, but he was more concerned about Law's state of mind. Him returning them to the ship either meant that he was handling the loss of his crew better than Luffy thought or it didn't sink in yet. Luffy would assume the latter was the case.

Everyone halted their activities as they felt a presence board the ship. They all turned only to come face to face with Kozuki Hiyori, the most beautiful woman in Wano. She had a sad but schooled expression on her face.

"I am sorry for your loss everyone, but I need to cut to the chase," she started, "After my mother died I looked for her time altering fruit and ate it. From what mother explained to me before she died, the fruit only allowed her to travel to the future. I, however, discovered a way to make someone or something other than me return to the past. By opening a Time Rift in a timeline, the object sent to the past will return to the place where it was in that time, a person will retain their age, memories, clothes and belongings they travel with. If said belonging did not belong in that place, it will disappear from its original place in the timeline and you will keep it. If it didn't exist already in that time, then chances are the original maker of that object will make it again and there will be two of said object, one from this timeline and one from the timeline you traveled into. Now, would you like to go back in time?"

While everyone was considering the possibilities of a miracle like that happening and what they could do with it, two sharp minds already finished their plans.

"How far back can you send us?" Robin asked.

"How many Time Rifts can you make in one timeline?" asked Law.

"I cannot send you back to a timeline you don't already exist in, and something too close like a month or too far like 100 years either takes too much control or too much energy. So optimally I can open two rifts successively and send you all in a time range of 5-25 years back," Hiyori answered, "You need to decide quickly, I've been making time here incredibly fast but Kaido is fast in his own right. If you do not come to a decision quickly, we will run out of time."

They looked at Kaido and found him moving in an incredibly slow rate towards them in his dragon form. Unfortunately, his 'slow' wasn't slow enough.

"Everyone has my vivre card?" Luffy asked. They all nodded, even Law. "Alright, Strawhats does anyone object to going back 12 years?" he asked but received no objections. "Tra-guy, why don't you save flamingo's brother? The good guy."

Law looked like he was remembering something, his lips perking up into a wistful smile. "Yes, I believe I will," he said, suddenly looking at peace. A drastic contrast to his expression two minutes earlier.

"Hey, after dealing with flamingo and saving his brother, why not join us? You're already Nakama. You can always help your old crew or create it again, just remember we're there if you need us."

"I'll think about it, Straw Hat-ya. Send me 13 years to the past, just after I ate my devil fruit," he addressed Hiyori who nodded. With a wave of her hand a horizontal circle suspended in the air opened, its inside was pitch black.

"Jump in," Hiyori said with a gentle smile. And he did. The hole blinked out as soon as he entered.

"Is that Shusui?" Zoro asked, noticing the sword at her waist.

"Yes," she replied, "I at least had to have a weapon."

"Can I have it? I'll return it to Wano again don't worry. Better me than grave robbers right?" he said remembering Ryuma.

She smiled again and gave it to him.

"Send us 12 years back, just before I ate my devil fruit, but just one second," Luffy said. He closed his eyes as he recounted all the stories he could remember about his friends, Zoro's story about his childhood friend and rival, Nami's years of captivity, Usopp's loneliness and his mother's death, Sanji's debt to Zeff and his years of torture at Germa's hands, Chopper's past with Hiriluk and Wapol, Robin's years on the run, Franky's mentor's death, Brook's promise with Laboon and Jinbe's fight against discrimination between Human and Fishman.

He opened his eyes, now filled with determination, he would turn this around, fix his mistakes and erase his friends' regrets. For the first time since he was born, Luffy's head did not steam upon thinking too much. "Jinbe, stay with your Captain, help your people and train hard until we get to Fishman Island, then you're with us again. Also, stop Arlong from enslaving humans again. Franky, get Brook once you're back, build a strong ship and give it to him then stay at Water 7 until we reach you again. Brook, go to Laboon and stay with him until we go over Reverse Mountain. Robin, we'll meet you in the Grand Line, once we arrive come to us with the vivre card. Chopper, stay put at Drum Island, when we get there we'll get rid of Wapol again. Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, you all have two years for yourselves, then make your way to Dawn Island. Everyone, train hard, seeya when I seeya!" He smiled and they reciprocated as they nodded their heads.

"Please save Wano this time," Hiyori said sadly. She waved her hand again and now a bigger circle was in the same spot. Everyone was standing around it now, Sanji holding his modified Raid Suit container and Franky in Shogun.

Luffy smiled, "Of course," he said reassuringly. "To be the Pirate King!" he placed a hand on his hat.

"To be the Greatest Swordsman!"

"To make a map of the whole world!"

"To be a Great Warrior of the Sea!"

"To find the All Blue!"

"To cure all diseases!"

"To find the Rio Poneglyph."

"To make a SUPER ship and sail it to the end of the Grand Line!"

"To keep a promise to friend!"

"To achieve harmony and co-existence between Humans and Fishmen!"

"YEAH!" they all shouted and as one they jumped together.

-Flashback end-

Their dreams resonated in his mind. He didn't remember them, he heard each if his Nakama's dream and saw their expressions. For them, Luffy would make it right.

-END

A/N: I wanted to include my reasoning on why the Strawhats lost in that way. I am convinced that in the manga something will happen between Big Mom and Kaido and that will ultimately make the Strawhats win because they couldn't scratch Big Mom in Totto Land and Luffy couldn't scratch Kaido, so there is no way they'll take down both. Removing Big Mom out of the picture ultimately makes Kaido at full health and concentration.
